Issaquah Dental Care

Positive experience: Used to be better, was a patient over 10 years, but they changed, high staff turnover, went from being a patient to feeling like a source of money, like they needed to make more money off of me. I quit them when I was switched to a new dentist without consulting me, and he said I needed a new crown, unlike before when certain teeth were being watched.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first exam with Dr. Rubinov and had the best cleaning I’ve ever had! I felt so taken care of in the whole clinic from the front with Jonathan and April to the assistant Jasmine. April took care of all the troubles I had with my insurance and it felt so nice. Didn’t have to worry about anything! I’m so grateful they are so close to my neighborhood and I will recommend them to everyone who is looking for a kind dentist with kind employees who do a thorough job!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for 15-20 years since I was a kid because I'm scared of the dentist. April is the most wonderful inviting receptionist and the glue of the office. Every time I've been in she's warmly greeted me and made me feel welcome. I've seen a lot change over my yearly appointments through the years and April is a consistently bubbly sweetheart who I look forward to seeing :)

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Thoa and everyone at Issaquah Dental Care. I might be biased though, since this is the only dentist I've seen since I've had teeth, and I am now 24. That being said, I dread the day I become too old to see a pediatric dentist because I'm worried that they won't be as caring and kind as Dr. Thoa. April has been there ever since I can remember as well. It's nice to see familiar faces at every appointment. I wish I had more friends with kids in the Issaquah area so I could recommend them here!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about this dental office! From the moment you walk in, the entire staff is absolutely fantastic and makes you feel so welcome. The vibe is warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. I brought my son here they went above and beyond to accommodate his special needs, and after being with another dentist for five years, I felt confident enough to make the switch and I’m so glad I did. This office goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable and cared for. Not having insurance I don’t feel like I was taken advantage of and so thankful they have wellness plans to have no excuse to keep my teeth clean. We absolutely love it here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dental experience for yourself, family, children or friends!

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Issaquah Dental Care for more than 14 years and am very happy/satisfied with all services and care received from them during all this time. My teeth, thanks to them, are in good shape, so visits are a breeze! :) Sarah Clark is very professional, warm, and provided good advise on how to keep things in place and healthy. She has been my go to person for almost two years and I am very happy with her. Dr. Okino is always ready to help, assess, and provide the right advise on how to proceed. Having said that, if you are looking for a place not only to fix/take care of your teeth, but also to feel welcome, and to keep your teeth healthy for the long run, Issaquah Dental Care is definitively your place!

Fantastic experience: Dr. T is incredible with kids. My daughter (who is autistic) had to get her first filling. Her fears always have to do with smell, taste and sound- Dr. T did a great job explaining everything to her before doing it. Stella said she will be telling all of her friends to come here for their filings

Fantastic experience: Literally the best experience at a dentist we've ever had. April was so sweet and helpful getting my wife in to see someone and deal with our conplex insurance. Dr Scott explained his thought process very well and was able to help us figure out what was going on. I didnt catch her name but the assistant went above and beyond to make my wife comfy and had such a fun personality and energy. If you're looking for an awesome local dentist, they are definitely worth a look <3

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Dr. Thoa and her assistant Paola. I came in for Botox and an ortho consultation due to severe TMJ, and I was honestly nervous at first. But Dr. Thoa immediately made me feel comfortable, she’s not only knowledgeable but also super sweet and funny, which really helped ease my anxiety. Paola was just as wonderful,kind, and supportive the whole time. After the Botox and during the consult, I actually started feeling relief in my jaw, which I wasn’t expecting so quickly. I truly felt cared for and heard throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Thoa has been working on my family’s oral health for more than 15 years now and she is the best around. She tells it like it is but gets results. She’s technically skilled and it doesn’t hurt that she has small hands to get in there and get the job done with no pain. The whole staff in her office is very professional, and respects Dr. Thoa, you can tell that she hand picks a team that she can develop and have fun with. My kids are excited to visit and look forward to their appointments. Highly recommended from a father of 4.

Fantastic experience: My 11yo daughter had to have 2 teeth extracted and was very nervous about the appointment. It went amazingly smoothly and she was probably in the chair for all of 25 minutes. Dr Thoa and her team are always great but this appointment was notably good even by their high standards.

Fantastic experience: I recently got a filling done by Dr.V and felt so comfortable, I have major dental anxiety but since having my dental needs met by Issaquah dental care the anxiety has completely subsided. Between Dr. Thoa and Dr. V I feel like anything that needs to be done I will always get the best care needed.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Experience for My Toddler! Dr. Thoa and the entire team were absolutely wonderful during my toddler’s dental visit! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making my little one feel at ease. Dr. Thoa was incredibly patient, gentle, and knowledgeable, explaining everything in a way that made us both comfortable. The office is kid-friendly, and the care provided was top-notch. My child actually left with a smile, which says a lot! I highly recommend Dr. Thoa for any parent looking for a caring and professional pediatric dentist. We will definitely be returning!

Negative experience: Do NOT bring your children here! We have been coming here for a couple years thinking our children were in good care but boy we were wrong! Ended up going to a different dentist and they had to refer us because their teeth are so bad. Now with the shock of procedures we need to go through that could have been treated/prevented years ago I am beyond upset and wish I could give this place no stars.I don’t recommended going to this dentist unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for their mess up.

Negative experience: As much as I would recommend this place for quality of work, I would not recommend to have your kids be worked on here. Dr Thoa has worked on my daughter with cleanings and minor fillings. Although quality of work seemed great-the communication towards my child has been very negative. She kept walking out of the room when my daughter was hurting and communicating that to her. Her communication with her assistant was not friendly at all! Telling my daughter if she doesn’t let her finish work-she will leave with a whole in her mouth which scared my daughter even more. Dr thoa was very rough with words and impatient with my child and the young gal assisting. I cannot come back, would prefer to be referred to another dentist if you can’t work with children.

Fantastic experience: As always, I was able to be seen very soon after my call for an appointment. The staff is always warm and welcoming. I was seeing. My issue was addressed immediately and resolved! I cannot give a higher recommendation!

Fantastic experience: The experience I had at Issaquah Family Dentistry was amazing. Dr. V is my dentist and she always ensures that I am comfortable and relaxed for my procedures. Sydney is one of the dental assistants that helps assist Dr. V and she always makes me laugh. The front desk, April, Ale and Selina are all great as well - they are always cracking jokes with each other and just have a good time. I highly recommend Issaquah Dental Care!

Negative experience: My 6 year old daughter has been seen here for the past 2 years and recently we had the worst experience ever and i hope no other parent and child will ever have to go through what we went through. Dr Thoa was extremely rough and rude with my daughter who was undergoing her very first filling. She forced my daughters mouth open, told me not to comfort my daughter and to not interrupt their process. After drilling my daughters 2 fillings out she took her gloves off and refused to finish the services and walked out of the room. I was then told she refused to try again for my daughters' other fillings. She is a very cold-hearted dentist and had no care for the comfort of my daughter who was scared to death with extreme anxiety, all she did was yell at my daughter the whole time. No numbing for my daughter as she was screaming in pain when the DR was drilling out the cavity. This whole experience was absolutely unacceptable and i truly hope nobody ever has to experience anything like this. ):

I have been coming here for years and from the front desk, hygienists, assistants, office manager and the dentists every one is personable and professional. Negative experience: Sat in the waiting room after checking in for 30 minutes. They called me to see where I was. I was there. The receptionist didn’t properly sign me in. I was late for scheduled commitments that evening no fault of my own. Funny since my daughter checked in with me and was done correctly, was called into her appointment just fine.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is this office are so friendly and make you feel like family. I don't know all their names, but front office staff, Dr. V, and Hygienist Sarah get a 10+ rating. My only regret is not going here sooner!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with my teeth whitening by Jasmine at Issaquah Dental Care. It was my first time doing it and I was a bit apprehensive, but Jasmine was not only the gentlest of touches, she was also extremely patient and kind. Exactly what you always hope a dental assistant is, but sadly don’t often experience. Jasmine broke all of the stereotypes in the very best way. And my teeth? Holy cow, they look absolutely amazing! The whitening took about 10 years off of me, I am certain. Seriously, I love how they look and when the time comes for a touch-up treatment, I will be going back to Jasmine at Issaquah Dental Care.

The only problem I ever has was when I had to schedule an extra appointment and come in sooner because there was some shipping issues with the sourcing of the OrthoFX aligners so not really their fault. very dedicated

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Dr. Okino is excellent. Rose is the best hygienist ever. April and the staff are always fun. Update: I had a toothache. They saw me immediately. After root canal was indicated, Dr V decided to pursue external 3D imaging first. It showed I had very little tooth remaining due to the depth of the old filling. I now needed an extraction instead. We scheduled for the next day. Dr V completed it and gave good post-op guidance. I had very little pain.

Everyone at Dental Clinic from front desk 'April' to Dr Thoa, Dr Scott and the staff have tremendous knowledge and expertise. 2. We choose to drive from Bellevue to Issaquah because Dr. Thoa and Dr. Scott provides best dental care for entire family. 3. Front desk Staff April has lots of patience and knowledge regarding dental coverage with insurance companies.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Scott Okino since I moved to Issaquah nearly years ago. My wife sees Scott, my kids (now teens) see his partner Dr. Thoa, and even my Mom now sees Scott. Our family have had cleanings, fillings, braces, and even complex crowns and implant work, each with a wonderful outcome and a great experience. They are simply the best dental team I have ever worked with. Kind, caring compassionate; every single one of their staff members, from the receptionist and billing staff, to the dental techs and docs, are simply wonderful. Never pushy about cosmetic options, always on time, and make me feel like family. I wouldn't trust ANYONE else with my dental care.

Great attention to detail, kind and welcoming, explained each step of the procedure to me to ensure that I was informed and felt comfortable, and did a great job. I’ve been to at least 4 other dental practices in Issaquah and couldn’t stick with them. The lack of care and lack of professionalism made me discouraged. I finally found Issaquah dental. The 5 stars are not enough. Let’s get 10 stars. The front staff is so welcoming and personable. That’s just the welcoming. The intake is comfortable and not rushed. They actually have the hygienist in the building and she’s amazing by the way. She worked on my case right then and there. The actual dentist was polite, caring, and actually came back just to make sure everyone knew what was going on. The level of care is very rare. I implore you to make this your regular dentist. This is the level of service that you always hope for in your medical life. Thank you guys for the great work
