Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing ataff that takes incredible care of their patients. My youngest daughter was terrified of going to the dentist before we switched to this office. They really take such care to make sure the kids are comfortable and explain everything to them. Everything about this practice is what I wish I'd had when I was going to the dentist growing up. 100% recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old had the BEST experience with Dr Girdlestone! She had trauma to one of her teeth a few years ago and it finally abscessed, so needed to be extracted. She had no idea she had an injection at all, and didn't feel a thing when the tooth was extracted. He explained everything to me, and also my daughter. She didn't cry one bit. Thank you to the wonderful office staff, assistants, and Dr Girdlestone, you are all so great with kids and their parents.

Fantastic experience: I brought in my 6 1/2 year old for a check-up and cleaning. Since he has Down Syndrome and Autism I knew this would be challenging. The staff was awesome! The ladies at the front desk were so warm and welcoming. The hygienist was very gentle and patient. Dr. Girdlestone was absolutely amazing and accommodating. The environment is very kid friendly too with gaming systems, movies, and a fun prize room after your visit. Thank you so much for all the kindness that you showed us.❤️

The entire staff is wonderful; from the time you walk in and are greeted by the front secretary’s; to the back hygienist and assistants; to Dr. Girdlestone - he is so patient and kind with my son! He’s only 6 and has had to have root canals; he just lays there and watches tv while the doc does his thing!! Truly so blessed to have found this dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: As a mom to a 3 year old who needed to undergo general anesthesia, I was So so nervous. Dr. Girdlestone, his staff, and the anesthesiologist were all top notch. I was put at ease and our daughter was taken care of beautifully. I hope to never have to use the anesthesiologist again, only bc that would mean no more dental issues, but I’m so so thankful for this office!! Fantastic experience: I want to extend a huge thanks to Dr. Girdlestone, who had a very calming demeanor and was very attentive, taking an extra 15-20 minutes to go research dental implications on a genetic condition that runs in our family, and returned with very informative notes. He explained what to watch out for and possible issues. My child’s is actually excited to go back to him, after being previously not so fond of the dentist offices we had been to!

Dr. Girdlestone was absolutely amazing—his one-on-one approach was so reassuring, and he took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. His focus on not traumatizing our daughter truly stood out; he clearly cares deeply about his young patients, which is rare to find in practitioners these days. The entire team was professional, compassionate, and truly had our daughter’s well-being as their top priority. The surgery went smoothly, and to our amazement, our daughter wasn’t traumatized at all—she was back to her happy self the same day! On top of their exceptional care, their pricing is reasonable, and we truly appreciate that they are out of network, as dealing with insurance companies can be an absolute nightmare. It’s refreshing to see a practice that prioritizes patients over profit. We are beyond grateful for their skill, kindness, and integrity—highly recommend them to any parent in need of pediatric dental work!

Fantastic experience: I had doctor girdlestone growing up as a kid and he treated me so amazingly! And has the kindest office staff.

Negative experience: I reached out Dr. Gridlestone about our concern after a procedure he preformed about on my son. He was completely dismissive to my concerns, would not listen to them or even consider what I was trying to communicate to him. I can not trust an office that does not have time to listen to my concerns about my children that I entrust to his care. We will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had the best experiences at this office. Everyone is so kind and friendly. My kiddo feels right at home, so much so he’s even taken his shoes off because he doesn’t want to track in dirt. I’m always impressed with the care and gentleness provided to my son. The staff has listened to my concerns and offered tips/tricks to help with brushing and flossing. Overall extremely happy to be a parent/patient here.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are amazing. My 7yr old is always excited for dentist appointments. She has no idea she’s ever had a shot in her mouth they are so good at hiding it and keeping kids distracted so they don’t see it or get scared. Absolutely recommend if you don’t want to be fighting your kid to go to the dentist.

Having dental work done really makes her nervous, but Dr. Girdlestone and his staff are always amazing with her (and my other child). They make them as comfortable as possible and ease the anxiety through their experience. Plus, both my kids have beautiful smiles! I couldn’t ask for a better crew!

Today was my son’s first visit.. he was very weary bc he just had a T&A done in July and was scared from that. The hygienist was nothing short of amazing with him. She was patient and took her time gaining his trust. She talked him through everything she did and allowed for him to sit on my lap. The same with Dr. Girdlestone, he is so nice and took his time despite my son’s fears. We couldn’t say enough good things about the entire office.

Specifically, Amber explained all of our cost up-front and possible insurance coverages. She took her time to break down cost and answer all of my questions. Fantastic experience: Dr. Girdlestone is fantastic. My son’s hygienist was great with him, he is only 3 and he changed positions a bunch of times while she was cleaning his teeth and she would just readjust and keep going. She was great about explaining things to him and met him where he is. He did awesome here! Dr. Girdlestone was similarly great, he was very good with my son. They have many techniques to make the dentist not scary for little kids. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Good and not so good GOOD: Dr Girldelstone is the best. Extremely patient and thorough. Very good at explaining everything after procedure. I am so glad that we decided to switch over to him. In the grand scheme of things, him being really good with our daughter is the only thing that matters. But for anybody who wants to know, they were a couple of things that I wish would’ve went differently that had nothing to do with Dr Girdlestone. NOT SO GOOD: our apt was scheduled for 10:30am. When we arrive, we were the only ones in the waiting room. There were a couple of people in the back already Having work done and they ran long. Really long. That happens and I get it. At 12:45pm no one has said anything to us and we’re still the only ones in the waiting room. I go to the front desk to see what’s going on and they look at me like I’ve never been there before and said can I help you? Remind you, we were the only ones in the waiting room and had Been in the there 2+hrs. With multiple people working at the front desk is it too much to ask To just walk out and say hey, we’re running ? I get it these things happen and wait times increase but communication is so incredibly simple when it’s actually done. Not so good Side note: in our case, we were charged more for anesthesia than what we thought because we were told it starts from the time the child gets the injection in the arm and doesn’t end until after the dentist leaves the room (which added an extra hr) Just a heads up for anybody that’s budgeting to pay for this because it cost us an additional hour on top of what we had already paid for 30 minutes.

The entire process was very nice and everyone was extremely kind and talked to her the entire time and made her very comfortable. She got to hold her stuffy and they even got her a blanket and “tucked her in” she even got to watch a Disney movie during the procedure. She was not scared at all she said! I called and explained our situation, they got us in almost immediately and showed my son, husband, and myself nothing but kindness and compassion while being thorough. We will be going here from now on! Switched all of my kids over and am so grateful for the entire staff within this office. The office girls, assistants, and doctor were absolutely incredible. Thank you!! Worth the drive!! It's over an hour for us and I'd do it everyday!

Dr. Understands kids and how to work with them. He’s patient, kind and so understanding with kiddos who are scared. He explains everything before hand. One more minor detail, as I was going through the little baggy they send home with us I noticed there were like 10 Mickey Mouse stickers in the bag. My son was watching Mickey to try an help him calm down. I believe they noticed he likes Mickey an therefore gave him all Mickey Mouse stickers. They are truly wonderful and pay attention to even such a small detail.
