Fantastic experience: The doctor and assistant were easy to talk to and work with during my (6) month check up. The administration was pleasant and user friendly.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been afraid of dentist but the friendly staff made me comfortable.

Negative experience: I would avoid this place. I was excited to come in as a first time client. At the beginning of the appointment everything went well. One of the front desk staff was great. I spoke with the dentist and she was great as well. However she mentioned a treatment that I should get that would be covered by my insurance. When I went to the front desk, I was told the complete opposite. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive and not accommodating to my overall experience. Told me instead of them calling me, I need to give them a call about my insurance next month without trying to book the next appointment for me. I then gave a call back later in the day for an explanation because I was extremely confused. The front desk was still dismissive, talking over me and you could tell they didn’t really want to help. It was a terrible experience and a complete waste of my time. I told them as a first time client I will not be moving forward with my care there.

Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist normally and will suffer anxiety and panic attacks over the thought of having to go. But here at Oak Forest Dental everyone was so good at putting my mind at ease. They were so patient and took their time with me so that I felt comfortable. Nothing felt rushed and no one made me feel badly for having anxiety, If you’re someone who fears the dentist I suggest booking here with Dr. Pella Lamproporous! Her hygienist Jen was absolutely amazing as well. Very kind people here down to the receptionist Armani. I have already booked my next appointment with th. Definitely recommend. My teeth feel great too!

Positive experience: Hi! We switched dentists. This one is just down the street. A very nice set-up. A home that is converted to a dental office. Everyone was polite & professional. I haven’t seen a dentist in maybe 4 years. I had dental X-rays done. You don’t wear the leaded apron for X-rays! There’s a new way for dental X-rays. It’s called: NOMAD. So cool! My teeth were professionally cleaned. Now I have 4 more visits! LOL! Don’t skip going to the dentist!

Negative experience: After waiting a hour I read reviews & most were literally describing my current situation. Pertaining to long wait time, while watching others that recently came go ahead. Along w/ the unprofessional customer service @ the front desk. We weren’t even acknowledged as being present, after completing the form. After finally leaving, I later I get a text message saying, I canceled my appt & would have to reschedule smh.

Negative experience: i’ve never been to a dentist so unorganized to allow people sit for hours waiting on an appointment this was my second visit and i will not be returning first appointment was for 9a i didn’t leave until 1:30 i have a cleaning and temporary fill 2nd appointment for the actual fill in was at 11a i checked in at 1045a at 1233p im told there’s still a long wait meanwhile i watched 10ppl come after me an go and now that im complaining do i want to reschedule or come back why would i want to sown my only off day at a dental office

Positive experience: I would give Oak Forest Complete Dental 4 stars overall. My appointment started about 30 minutes later than my scheduled time, and the lobby was very busy with several people already waiting ahead of me. Interestingly, even with the large group waiting, I was the first person called back, though it was still well past my appointment time. Despite the delay, I thought the quality of care was excellent. The staff, hygienist, and dentist were all kind, professional, and respectful. The hygienist did a great job explaining everything she was doing during the cleaning and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. The dentist was thorough, attentive, and did not seem to cut any corners. During the exam, additional issues were identified, and the dentist addressed each concern with practical solutions and a clear follow-up plan. He even personally handed me my prescription as I was leaving. In my opinion, this office may have a longer-than-average wait time, but the level of care feels premium and worth mentioning. The professionalism, communication, and attention to detail stood out to me.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to share some feedback about my hygienist, Liz—she is truly the highlight of the whole practice! It’s rare to find someone who executes their job so flawlessly, but Liz does exactly that. I feel so blessed to have had her for my last two cleanings over the past six months. She is hands-down the most meticulous worker I’ve ever met, and I definitely want to keep her as my permanent hygienist. Keep up the fantastic work, Liz!

Negative experience: Dr. Akanksha Baheti shifted my teeth during a crown procedure and then called me ‘dumb’ when I raised the concern. I provided evidence of my teeth prior to the procedure, and radiographs were taken to compare the before and after. The shift was clearly visible, yet she continued to deny that any change had occurred.

Positive experience: Had two exams here so far and both experiences were fine! The people I encountered were kind and informative

Negative experience: Today Tuesday Morning May 5,2026, I was schedule for appointment at 9:00a.m, the employees did not arrive until 9:20 a.m. but however I was scheduled at 9:00 a.m. this is not acceptable my time is valuable, your service is not free I pay for this I did not appreciate waiting for someone to arrive. Your company text me yesterday and this morning to remind me to be on time. I have been coming to this dentist for number of years. I hate to leave but today was my last day I wish you well with your new company or the name change. Dr. P will miss!!!! Mrs. Mitchell

Fantastic experience: We've been with Perfect Smiles for over a decade. Since the old location. They are very organized and up to date. Lots of good electronic communication. Texted me about my appointment. Let me know of an earlier appointment availability. Explained COVID-19 procedures through text. However, even with those precautions, the wait inside was quite long and somewhat crowded. Some ended up waiting outside. The new decor is beautiful and calming! Even my little boy loves the calming atmosphere! Stephanie is the best hygienist! Our family likes to have personal connection with our caregivers. It's nice to see a familiar face when we visit. Since Perfect Smiles has grown so big with so many new dentists, we miss that connection. But all of the dentists are very pleasant and skillful. My only criticism is the moderate wait and a bit of a rough driveway and parking area.

Fantastic experience: Greeted very well by the receptionist entering Perfect Smile. I had a matter of insurance to discuss with Diana. She was great, and her positive energy is appreciated, especially at the dental office. The next person was "Liz" my hygienist. She does such an excellent job, with a wonderful sense of humor while providing professional cleaning and hygienist services. Liz is definitely my 1st choice while visiting Perfect Smile, and Yes I am a client. Jimmy Holloway!!!

Fantastic experience: Took my kids with me to get my braces on and my 2 year old was fussing a bit towards the end.. one of the staff members came in to help calm her down and the other staff member switched the TV on to some cartoons. Such caring, loving people here! I immediately went from feeling embarrassed, to comfortable knowing my kids didn’t bother them. They are also very good at educating you on how to keep up with your teeth. I’ve had bleeding, en flamed gums for a while and they helped get rid of that too. <3

Negative experience: If I could give this place zero starts I would. I had my appointment scheduled at 2:30 got here on time and they took everyone who walked in after me before me and i wasn't walked back until 3:40. The girl assistant I think her name is leasile was super rude and said the wait “wasnt her fault” and was the girls at the desk who schedule too many people at a time but when I got here I was the only one in the office. I also had an appointment scheduled for my daughter but they wouldn’t take her bc her insurance had a different dentist on it whicu they still could have taken her. There very unprofessional here and will treat you differently if you have state insurance.

Negative experience: I have experienced ongoing issues with this dental office, both prior to and after their name change from Perfect Smiles to Oak Forest Complete Dental. Appointments are consistently canceled by the office and then rescheduled several weeks or even months later, yet patients are criticized for not attending appointments on time despite the cancellations originating from the practice. In addition, the staff’s professionalism has been extremely concerning. My daughter’s payment plan and insurance information were mishandled, and after previously approving my insurance, the office later claimed they were unable to accept it. This has caused unnecessary confusion. The overall customer service experience has been unacceptable. Dental assistants have been rude toward my daughter, and front desk staff have appeared dismissive and unprofessional, even finding humor in situations where legitimate concerns were being raised regarding repeated scheduling changes. I scheduled appointments with the orthodontist months in advance, yet the office repeatedly alters the schedule and expects patients to accommodate these last-minute changes. Due to the consistent lack of organization, professionalism, and respectful communication, my experience with this practice has been extremely frustrating.

Negative experience: I thoroughly wrote out my thoughts and experiences with the dental office, I’m truly disappointed.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this location for many years and even trusted them with my children’s care. Last year, both of my kids got braces, and I was given a clear total cost for their treatment. The balance was supposed to be paid off by February of last year. Despite the account being paid in full, the office continued charging my bank account. In total, they overcharged me by $2,492. When I brought this to their attention, they initially denied owing me anything. I had to provide bank statements and treatment documentation before they finally acknowledged their error and confirmed I would be refunded. Months went by with no refund. I had to make multiple phone calls and visit the office in person several times just to get partial refunds. Now, in 2026, I still have not received the full amount owed to me. During my most recent visit, I spoke with the office manager, Diana Hernandez, who insisted I had already been fully reimbursed. Once again, I showed proof that money was still missing. After reviewing it, she said, “Fine, I’ll send you your money, but I never want to see your face here ever again, or your kids’ faces.” This experience has been extremely upsetting and unprofessional. Patients should not have to fight for over a year to get their own money back. Based on my experience, I believe this office engages in improper billing practices, and I would strongly caution others to carefully monitor their statements before seeking treatment here.

Negative experience: Lady at front desk Jan 19 3:33pm 2026 was extremely rude and unprofessional and embarrassed me for asking a simple question in front of everyone they are all very unprofessional at the front desk I called 8 times before coming letting them know I’d be late no one picked up once I got there not one patient was there and only the lady infront desk curly brown hair short with long sleeve grey very rude they even put you on hold for no reason for as long as they feel like it with no actual reason appointments are a nightmare I truly can’t believe how terrible she was but they all are

Negative experience: terrible customer service. most definitely agree on they make you wait longer past your appointment time, the dentist is great but not so much on the dental assistance - front desk it's about 4 or 5 of them on phones.* after care * i've been calling since December left a voicemail about billing and i barely got through to someone today, even when i was on the phone it was laughter not taking their job serious or don't know how to do their job. very unprofessional behavior. do not recommend going here. *UPDATE* will comment later with concerns, provided phone number but still won't answer the phones when i call.

Negative experience: Since rebranding twice now, the company is just not what it used to be. I felt like the staff knew me and enjoyed cleaning my teeth but now it seems there are hardly any staff and they aren't friendly like they used to be. Expect to wait quite a while before they see you, even if you arrive to your appointment early.

Negative experience: Horrible horrible place. They changed their name but they’ve always been not great. I’ve only been here 3 times and each was worse. They make you wait every time way past your apt time. I switched dentists and they would only provide me with my most recent X-rays which weren’t even a full set. I finally had to go in there and waited over 35 minutes for two women to try to find my full set of X-rays and they really didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Save your time and go somewhere better, literally anywhere else.

Negative experience: Worst experience I've ever had with a dentist, Dr Baheti. Went for a root canal that was the most painful and uncomfortable experience I've had with a dentist. Near the end of the visit she said the root canal was unsuccessful and I would need to schedule with a specialist. They had initially discussed sending me to a specialist but felt confident doing it in house, it was a complete failure. I was assured they would financially cover it. I take another day off work for the appointment and they made 0 notes or accommodations with the specialist. I am stuck at square 1 with 3 less pto days and the most painful experience possible. Under no circumstances should anyone trust this location.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Dr. P and her assistant last week. They’re both incredibly professional and comforting. Dr. Pela is very skilled and confident in her work. She took the time to explain multiple treatment plans and really made me feel like I was in good hands. She is so efficient and has a great experience. assistant, was amazing too. You can tell how knowledgeable she is. She walked me through parts of my treatment in a way that made me feel calm. she made sure that i know all the instructions to follow after my extracti,Even after my tooth extraction, the assistant followed up with a call to check on me — that level of care is rare. Dr. P and her beloved assistant truly make an excellent team. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take great pride in their work. Dr. P is outstanding at what she does — skilled, confident, and truly attentive to each patient’s needs. her assistant passionate about her work.I felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Loved how comfortable the interior looks. I usually have anxiety at the dentist but I didn't feel that at my visit. Rima the hygienist was also very sweet and helpful. I didn't feel judged for not going in years, definitely recommend going here for dental care!

Negative experience: My daughter went in for a root canal. I was charhed out of pocket because insurance only covers partial. They ended up just doing a filling instead as it was no need for root canal. Which my blue cross blue shield covers fillings. They said they cannot pay me back in cash and to wait for a check in the mail. Over a month later still nothing. Not to mention i can rarely get a call back.

Negative experience: They don’t know how to do teeth cleanings. 2 minutes and you’re out. What a joke. No one cares about your teeth. Everyone looks unhappy and can careless about you or your teeth. Go elsewhere. Dentist literally changes every 3 months. Than I hear one of the women at the front desk say those are my people. Referring to African American individuals. Like that isn’t racist.

Negative experience: Dentist visit consultation was over an hour of just waiting. She needs to be more considerate of other patients time and give equal attention. She ordered a code for my insurance that wouldn’t cover, yet another dentist was able to find one to cover.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Baheti is wonderful. Prior to seeing her I had a few bad experiences. She and her staff were very sweet. Easy to talk to. Dr. Baheti did everything precise and virtually painless! She explained everything that she was doing with her calming voice. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Negative experience: Do NOT go here!! Went in with a loose tooth. Was told I had 2 loose teeth and my bones are gone and they’re not saveable. They were gonna pull 2 teeth and give me partials.. I almost agreed under the pressure, thank god I walked out. 2 weeks later my teeth are stronger than ever and didn’t have to pull them. Brushed more often and that was the answere. They were gonna have me toothless out here find you a doctor that cares not these people

I unfortunately had a very painful infection needing prompt attention and the professionals at Perfect Smile had me quickly diagnosed and treated within a short time frame. Fantastic experience: I had the best experience ever getting my teeth cleaned at the Perfect Smiles Dentist office in Park Forest yesterday. My back teeth were full of plaque, and they were bleeding and hurting. Liz is the greatest! She started sharpening her instruments, and she put some numbing gel on my gums and went to work cleaning my teeth. Liz took extra time getting all the plaque and inflammation from around my teeth. When she had finished cleaning all my teeth, they didn't hurt anymore, no more bleeding, they were clean and shining. This dentist's office definitely lives up to it's name because I had a BIG Perfect Smile on my face when I left. Thank you, Liz, for all the hard work.

Negative experience: Was trying to change dentist for my daughter so I came here service with the dental hygienist or whoever she was was so ignorant horrible attitude but the dentist herself was nice I hope she got better help! We didn’t change to this office btw my kid said she wasn’t comfortable and didn’t wanna go back.

Negative experience: They told me they took my insurance on Tuesday and Friday and they could help me I came in and all they did was take a X-ray which caused me to be in more pain from my broken wisdom tooth than I was already in they just gave me a referral to go somewhere else so now I have to wait a whole month in Excruciating pain they didn’t give me anything for the pain just a X-ray and sent me on my way they only help you if you have good insurance or money on my way out I saw everyone in there room getting work done I was the only one sent back out the door would give 0 stars if I could

Negative experience: My experience was very poor! Was waiting 45 minutes to see the hygienist. When she come and get me for my appointment she had a very flat affect did not introduce herself nor be apologetic about being late! I had to ask Jas her name to find it out; poor bedside manners! She did not explain anything she was doing in my mouth and almost seemed like she was scared to clean teeth! The turn around rate in this dentist is ridiculous! Then Kenya interrupts my appointment by coming in to tell the hygienist she had another appointment at 11:30 so basically hurry up while she was in my mouth cleaning! Kenya checked me out with a very nice nasty attitude as if she had a right to be frustrated! I definitely will not be back!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Perfect Smiles today. Dr. Samaa is a top notch professional. She explained the procedure clearly and patiently. Leslie, her assistant was super nice and amazing as well. I left the office with great results, a perfect smile.

Positive experience: The extraction of a moler went well on this second try. The extra shot in a different spot reduce the pain enough to allow the procedure to go a lot easier with less side effects than the first time. Plus the addition of a suture to control the bleeding was better than having gauze in the mouth for an extended period of time.

Negative experience: It is way too difficult to try and contact someone at the Oak Forest office if you’re an existing patient. I have literally called over 10 times and no one answers the phone. The only option you have is to leave a voicemail, but if it’s something urgent, you cannot reach anyone. Terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend anyone come to this office just from this issue alone.

Fantastic experience: Such a pleasant experience from the beginning to end. After a bad experience at a different dental office, I was extremely worried but they definitely restored my faith. Super clean facility and the friendliest staff ever.

Negative experience: I was scheduled for a 2 o clock appointment. I was taken to a room and sat in the dentist chair for an HOUR and a HALF while they were taking other people and working on them. I left because I have other things to do. Very disappointed by this and I will not be going back as this isn't the first time they've had an issue sticking with appointments.

Negative experience: I am having a terrible time with the manager of this office. She has blown me off 3 times. Never returning calls as shes said she would. My insurance has paid over $1,600.00 and I can't get my services.

Negative experience: Good luck keeping an appointment. They canceled my first appointment then when I brought my daughter they canceled hers with no notice. They were willing to squeeze her in but an hour later. Messed up my day. Won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a deep cleaning but was nervous cause last time I went for one the dentist didn’t make me feel comfortable but was totally the opposite here Lissette really made sure I was comfortable and did a amazing job cleaning my teeth now I have no problem smiling and showing off my teeth will be back in 6 months for my follow up… I really love it here at perfect smile from the assistants at the front desk too the dentist in the back they are really amazing..

Negative experience: My visit felt rushed, and I wasn't fully satisfied with the experience. After my teeth cleaning, an intern performed the polishing. I also had to go outside afterward to remove plaque buildup with a toothpick. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place or return myself.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time ever i live to visit dentist with no fear. the experience with dr pella was amazing, they were quick and efficient.Honestly from the assistant to the Dentist they both did an amazing job. during the treatment they checked on me. The assistant sharie really care about the patients and has sense of humor. they tell jokes and the atmosphere was so good and relaxing , music was on , room view is relaxing and room is clean and smell very good.I can’t wait to go back to finish off my work I need.

Negative experience: I have a fear of going to the dentist but I needed to build up the courage to go because I've been dealing with pain from a tooth that cracked a couple years ago due to postpartum depression.. I'm disappointed to say after my visit here the women that looked in my mouth was gossiping to the receptionist and they were both laughing and looking at me. I'd say they are very unprofessional and I felt judged and will not be going back.

Negative experience: What a bad service! I scheduled an appointment online for my mother, who has a severe toothache, a week ahead, and today, I drove 25 minutes for the appointment, and they said because you made your appointment online, we have to reschedule because we have no availability!! They didn’t even think to call me earlier to notify me! I also received a confirmation email that morning. When I said okay, let’s schedule it, they said the first availability is in February!

Negative experience: VERY TERRIBLE,VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I WAS TOLD BECAUSE I’M 18 MY INSURANCE IS CUT OFF AND I WILL BE REPORTING THE LADY BECAUSE SHE NEVER CALLED MY INSURANCE TO SEE IF THEY COVER BRACES ( IN WHICH THEY DO COVER THE COST) I TOLD HER TO SEND OVER MY XRAYS AND FILES TO MY INSURANCE BECAUSE THIS IS UNPROFESSIONAL.

Negative experience: This place is horrible..dentist changing frequently and no professionalism. One of the hygienist seem to be practicing on patients..no real cleaning and the dentist seem to be in practice also. They say they will follow up when you call to ask a question but they never do..so disappointed ..if I could rate less..I would. The dentist made a mess of my filling and I was told it needed to be redone..also the dentist will say they will keep a watch on a problem tooth and when I returned ..the tooth was in bad shape..they have no sense of urgency or compassion for patients….sad and the wait time is long. My appointment was at 3p. I arrived at 2:55p. Waited almost one hour to get in a room. Once in a room I waited another 45 minutes to be seen. I left about 5:30p

Negative experience: They have unconvinced me 2 times now. My first visit I was scheduled for 2 fill ins and the dentist only did 1 because she said she was running late and didn’t have time for the second one. HOW IS THAT MY FAULT? I have a schedule appointment!! Now today I am here for my 2nd fill in a month later- only to be told my appointment was cancelled. I was NEVER informed of this. Next availability is January.. this can’t be real. Waste of time, I expected more professionalism and at least an email that you guys cancelled on me. Drove an hour for nothing.

Negative experience: Is a pity that I cannot give a zero star for this organization, I have never seen an organization that lack courtesy and has no perfect record as their name sound. I am not owing you any fund and you send my name to collection agency. I have spoken with several staff at the oak forest center, they keep telling me their manager will call me as they just have a new manager. I will surely take this up with you and I really mean it. Just looking for a way to exploit people. Nonsense organization

Fantastic experience: Dr. Z made this a very great visit. I haven’t been to a dentist in 10 years due to financial issues and being without insurance. And I was afraid of what would happen. But Dr. Z made sure everything would be okay. He was very friendly, polite, and informative about everything. And he made everything a breeze. I had to get a few fillings and was nervous about the procedure since I’m always afraid of something going wrong. But he assured me that everything would be perfect. I look forward to coming back in 6 months. (I did hear small talk between some of the other staff that there seems to be a high turnover here or some issue. And that there’s always new people coming and going. So I hope there isn’t an upper management issue. Because it seems like Dr. Z and some of the other employees really want to help people. I don’t want to cause any problems, but it’s always important to make sure the employees are happy. Especially if it’s a necessary service!)

Fantastic experience: Right now, in the process of setting up care, the plan looks wonderful. I am looking forward to having my treatment at this facility. Staff and doctors were wonderful to me.

Negative experience: This place phone numbers are never correct. It’s hard to get in touch with them. They cancel appointments without follow up with short notice. I’ve been asking to speak to a manager for two days. No one has never called back. It’s a joke… Response to comment: They tell you to call, but they never answered the phone and there’s no way to leave a message. Sickening.

Negative experience: This is unfortunate, but I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new doctor, dentist and such. This place is right next to where I live and the reviews were decent .i made an appointment online quite a while ago for an intake appointment. About 4 hours before my appointment today (after taking a half day off work) they texted me and cancelled. When I complained about being unprofessional to cancel hours prior to my appointment after signing an agreement saying I would be charged for doing the same, she said she could probably fit me in. Then as I’m on the train coming in from work, I get another text saying the dentist that takes my insurance only works on Tuesday and Friday. I stopped in the office to schedule an appointment with the other dentist and sat there for 30 minutes without being acknowledged. This all would have been fine if I was made aware prior to the day of. I need a lot of work done which will probably be several thousand dollars, but now I have to start over.

Fantastic experience: my experience for today is exeptinal and beyond. i had an appointment with Dr Pela. she was running a little behind. That was acceptable since her assistant (blonde hair girl. i don’t know exactly her name, but i heard them calling her sheree or shara). she came to my chair and explained that they were running behind with an apology. that was amazing. then she took me to the room with a smile. the room was clean, organized and ready for my treatment. Dr Pela came to me with an apology for the delay and start to talk and asking about me. ahe was super professional and so friendly.They treated me in a professional manner and made me forget that I had waited. During the treatment Dr Pela and her assistant asked if im okay and everything was fine with smile, regardless how hard was the day with them, and how busy they were. before I leave DR Pela apologize again, and thank me for being patient. Her assistant then walked me to the front desk to make sure the front dest take care of me, and told them when dr pela want to see me for my next visit. she made sure that they set up my next appointment, then she left with smile and GOODBYE running back to her DR. Big thanks for DR Pela and shere for their kind hearts and caring.

Negative experience: My appointment was for 11:00am today but when I arrived at 10:45 I was told it was scheduled for 10:00am. I was never sent a notice before hand. I am not happy about it. This is another reason why I will probably be taking my business elsewhere. How can I go about getting my dental records?

Negative experience: I would give more stars but there were 2 guys smoking their weed vape in the waiting room. The entire place smelled so bad. I had 2 toddlers with me. So disrespectful. No one said anything to them. Also, I've had one or two really great hygienists, but the last few were not it. No help in making my scared 3 year old feel safe. I could go on in that matter, but it doesn't make a difference. Will most likely be changing dentist. Definitely my last visit. I tried one more time since my last visit (and review) and they've gotten worse. I waited almost and hour for my appointment. The office smells.The rooms are cramped with equipment looking unclean or not working. Front desk girls have an attitude. I'm done.

Fantastic experience: Commenting on Dental Assistant only. Eliza was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. She was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding our questions and gave great recommendations. And she’s very kind and patient with children!! I was very impressed and can’t recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is amazing. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and down to earth. Eliza, the hygienist, did great and was very patient with my kids. She's got a wonderful demeanor. Dr Samah did great at explaining everything to me and compensating for the lack of professional work that my previous dentist showed me. I definitely would recommend this dental office. Oh and they take my Meridian insurance, which is extremely hard to find a good dentist work state insurance.

Negative experience: I am in the process of filing a fraud complaint!!! I was charged for services from back in 2020 (during covid). Please read the similar false charges complaint for the Oak Forest location on the BBB website. Anyone with insurance knows that cleanings are covered under insurance, 1st false claim) I was there and I was not 2nd false claim) that I signed for the service lol ... false and 3rd false claim) they did me a favor by paying half the bill for me and stated I was responsible for the rest ... someone in that office is cooking the books and I won't stop until I get to the bottom of it!!! I know I can't be the only person they're harassing via email and text ... and if I have an outstanding bill from 2020 ... why is it not in collections? I called the insurance company to advise them of the fraud and they gave me some very helpful information ... I will continue to fight against these bogus charges! Please beware!!!

Fantastic experience: i had an appointment with DR.Pella today she is an amazing Dr. the office is clean the atmosphere is great music is on, room is organized, clean, friendly with her assistant, she has her own friendly way to comfort me because i was so scared. thanks Dr pella. for sure i will recommend her for my whole family.

Positive experience: Very quick and friendly people in this office. I had the pleasure of taking my daughter here a few times and decided to try them out for myself. So far, so good.

Negative experience: I and my family have been going to this office for over 30 years and the service was excellent until Dr Austin retired and it became Perfect Smiles a couple of years ago. My cleaning and checkup was scheduled for June and here it’s is August and my appointment has been cancelled 4 times. I have called and asked to talk to the office manager twice in the past 2 weeks. The first time they were not in but would call me back. After not receiving a call back I called again a week later and was told the manager would call me back when they returned from lunch in a few minutes. That was a week ago and have still not received a call back. Dr Pella is wonderful but does always seem rushed. I can’t imagine her staying there due to the practice being run so poorly. I will be scheduling a visit with another dental practice this week.

Negative experience: Terrible place. I’ve been coming here for a while and they always take more than an hour to get you in, even when people who come in later get in before you. Terrible service, no communication whatsoever. They also switch dentists way too much and they messed my teeth up the first few times. I’m sick and tired of waiting and waiting just for a cleaning. Do not recommend coming here at all. Save your time and don’t come here!! I wish i could give 0 stars.

Negative experience: I've been taking both of my daughters here for the past few years due to being on state insurance. Everytime we come here the wait time is very long, there is an entire all new staff which by the way are rude and unprofessional and I feel that my kids don't get the proper dental care because they are in the exam room for no more then 10 min. This will be their last time here as I will be taking then somewhere else where the staff is professional, caring and on time.

Negative experience: High rate of turnover of dentists. I think it might be new ownership or management as I was told they have a new staff. Was supposed to have my kids appointments next week and both had to be canceled because they don’t have a dentist that takes our insurance until August. So when I went to make an appointment, the earliest they could get me was mid September. How about giving your old customers priority over your new ones? My daughter goes away to college and can’t always come in so I always make sure I plan our appointments while she is at home. this is not the first time it happened. Not to mention the long wait every time we come and then being told we have to reschedule to do the remaining work because they ran out of time. Very difficult to work around someone’s work schedule. If it wasn’t so hard to find someone to take our insurance, I would never return to this place .

Negative experience: I went to go get a cleaning and x-rays as a first patient here years after being at the dentist last. They found I had 4 cavities and we scheduled 2 appointments to get them taken care of (I'm a baby and couldn't do it all in one sitting) Recently one of those cavity fillings done in April just chipped off while eating popcorn. (I didn't bite into a kernel or anything it just became loose and I felt it and accidently picked it off thinking it was a piece of popcorn stuck on my tooth) I called them at 8am the next day when the website had said they opened at that time and they didn't answer. I called twice more 10 minutes later to no answer. I decided to try my boyfriends dentist instead and they answered immediately even though they didn't open for an hour still and were able to get me in 15 minutes before they did open. At the new dentist, they looked at the xrays sent from this place and noticed I had a bunch of flossing cavities that I was completely unaware of. This place had told me that my teeth were fine after the last filling and I would only need cleanings from then on. I would not trust this place. It's weird vibes when you walk in for a reason. The receptionists are fine, but the dental staff weren't very professional and didn't seem like they had a passion to be there. I'm not sure if it's mostly students since a lot of them seemed young, but if you care about getting your treatment right, I'd go somewhere else if you can.
