Negative experience: This is a mid grade dental office that is heavily focused on advertising. My teeth don't feel clean after their cleaning. At every appointment, staff are telling me about their latest promotion on something new they are selling or offering. After leaving appointment, I am bombarded with requests to submit a review. They are in a convenient location and the reason I have not gone somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is stylish, welcoming, and unique, with a speakeasy-inspired vibe from the moment you walk in. The office is always spotless and equipped with modern technology, including personalized touches like having your name displayed as you enter your private suite. The staff is consistently warm and professional, and the hygienists are truly top-notch. Dr. Schackman is exceptional — caring, personable, and genuinely invested in her patients. She makes you feel like more than just a patient; she makes you feel like family. I’m sure Dr. Nguyen provides that same level of care and attention as well. Overall, The Dental Bar truly sets the bar for professionalism, comfort, and quality care. Great atmosphere, even better people, and outstanding service.

What stood out the most was how detail-oriented they were. Cindy and Dr. Nguyen took the time to answer all of my questions clearly. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients and the quality of their work. The office was clean, organized, and well-run, which added to the overall positive experience. She explained in detail things to me my other dentists have overlooked. She is very bright and welcome, and took her time with my comprehensive exam. Overall, a really great experience, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality dental office.

Fantastic experience: The Dental Bar is a GAME CHANGER as far as dental experiences go. From the warmest of welcomes when you step through the front door to the warm and cozy prohibition themed lounge area where you relax before your treatment, you’re made to feel welcomed, comforted and at ease. As you’re escorted to your dental chair you soon notice that there is a sign with your name on it inviting you into your own personal suite. Between the offers of blankets, pillows, noise cancelling headsets and Netflix you hardly remember you’re there to get your teeth worked on. The dentist and staff then go to work on your mouth do with skill, precision and professionalism and no pain. Then it’s time to leave. You kinda feel like ya wanna stay. It’s that good!

Fantastic experience: As someone with pretty severe anxiety about going to the dentist, I highly recommend The Dental Bar. Every single person at The Dental Bar goes above and beyond to help you feel supported every step of the way. I’ve been coming to The Dental Bar for about a year now and before that I had been avoiding the dentist for a LONG time. My first appointment I literally cried the whole time, but since then I have gotten so much more comfortable with treatments thanks to the incredible staff. Andrew and Cheryl are always so kind and welcoming at the front desk. Kim, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Shackman have all been incredible to work with! I don’t typically write reviews but I genuinely am so thankful for the entire team at The Dental Bar for helping me overcome most of my dental anxiety and for the great work they do every day!

Fantastic experience: As always, a delightful, relaxing, and productive experience at The Dental Bar. Liz; my Hygienist, was so thorough and made sure I left with a great plan for the next few months. The gentleman at the Front Desk was so kind and very patient with me as I worked to provide my new insurance information to him. And everything from the “speakeasy” concept to the scent is straight out of what you’d expect at a hotel. The Dental Bar is truly a disrupter in the Dental industry here in Colorado and I’m beyond thrilled with my experience. Hard to believe I’m actually excited to go back to the dentist later this month!

Fantastic experience: This is the place! The most genuine care combined with affordable prices. If you’re scared of the dentist or get nervous at the dentist, this place will help relieve your anxiety. You can watch Netflix, you can get pillows and blankets and to top it off, they have an awesome hidden speak easy with NA drinks for free! I’ve felt so comfortable and accepted by coming here. Andrew is always a pleasure to speak to, Liz is the best hygienist I’ve ever had and Dr. Schackman is absolutely amazing. So happy that we found this place!!

Fantastic experience: I recently switched my dental care to the team at The Dental Bar and I couldn’t be more impressed! The entire team has been incredibly courteous and helpful with my basic care & also the Invisalign treatment I am seeking. My first cleaning with Liz was above and beyond any cleaning I have EVER received! She was very thorough & shared amazing information to help my ongoing dental regimen. My interactions with Dr. Nguyen have also been wonderful. His attention to detail and follow up to my treatment plan have been greatly appreciated. He shows genuine interest and dedication for the results his patients are seeking. I very highly recommend the Dental Bar! I wish I would have switched to this practice sooner myself, they are fabulous!

I also love the screen welcome me to my "personal dental suite" in addition to being offered a pillow and blanket. Andrew, the patient coordinator, and Cheryl, the practice manager, made an excellent first impression and immediately helped me feel welcome. I’ve always been nervous about the dentist, but Dr. Lauren and my hygienist, Kim, truly put me at ease. They listened to my concerns and made me feel seen and cared for. The most meaningful part was their incredible kindness—after hearing that my dog had recently passed away, they gifted me a beautiful book called Dog Heaven. That level of compassion goes far beyond dental care. I’m so grateful for this team and highly recommend this office, especially for anyone who feels anxious about dental visits. They have gained a loyal patient in me! Update: I’m on my 3rd visit so far and I wanted to share how much this place has helped overcome my fear of going to the dentist. I wanted to give a shoutout to Cindy, dental assistant, for guiding me throughout procedures. Cindy and Dr. Lauren make a great team! I always look forward to seeing them!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for a year and a half or so now. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I had severely traumatic experiences at the dentist as a teenager that gave me insane dental anxiety for the majority of my adult life which meant I did not go to a dentist for probably at least 12 years. This office has completely changed my outlook and perception of the dental industry. Everyone is so wonderful there, today I saw a new to me hygienist (I believe her name was Katie but tend to forget names when I walk out) who was absolutely wonderful and I think my favorite so far! She was gentle, calming, and very efficient. Great communication. I sat up afterwards and joked for the first time that I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now for the first time ever. I met Dr. Schackman for the first time since Dr. Doan is out for maternity leave and she was so sweet and asked about some things in my personal life that came up last time with Dr. Nguyen which meant a lot! The whole team is so personable and I am so thankful for them all for changing my entire experience to a positive one!

Fantastic experience: The Dental Bar is the nicest dental office I've ever been to! They have all new state-of-the-art equipment and it doesn't feel like an old, dated dental office. I received a cleaning from Liz, and she was the best hygienist I've ever had! She was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer all the questions about my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Today, was my first visit to the Dental Bar. Everyone was pleasant, understanding and positive. You know, it was as though everyone liked their job! I was ready for a dreary and grouchy experience, but it was just the opposite. I’m a runner…meaning, I run from all doctors. However, there was nothing to be afraid of, at all. This is a great place and I’m actually returning for my treatments. I almost never return for any treatments, from any doctors, unless it is an emergency. All of the treatment costs were outlined. No hidden, “gotchas” lurking in the background. And, for the first time, I have a dentist I am willing to see. I will keep you posted as my treatments progress.

Fantastic experience: The doctor’s here are so friendly and really listens to you. I recently was seen by Misty and she was also super helpful, patient, and friendly! She was very detailed and took her time cleaning my teeth. I had stains due to Invisalign and she left them spotless. She also gave me a lot of tips and advice on how to keep my teeth healthy. I had a very positive experience during this visit as opposed to my previous visit where another assistant dried my back teeth with air while getting a permanent crown. The area was NOT numb and she previously told the doctor she was going to use gauze to dry the teeth, but she decided to just use air. It was extremely painful and my back teeth ached for hours after that. I’m so glad Misty took care of me during my last appointment. She was super patient and nice!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing Dentistry. The owners are so personal with there patients. I will never go anywhere else! I have been with them for years! Today they fit me in for an emergency extraction of one of my back molars (in November) that was abscess. Thank you both so very much! You are the best!! Oh, and don't doubt their sense of humor!! Very enjoyable environment. I had my teeth cleaned today. What an awesome place..

Fantastic experience: Most Fabulous Dental Experience. It began with the waiting room. It’s not just a waiting room, it’s relaxing/comfortable/modern speak easy lounge. Then Cindy the assistant Guided me back to my room, where I saw my name on the TV and big beautiful font “Welcome Mark.” It made me feel like they were prepared on all levels for my filling. I was introduced to Dr. Doan, Who explained the procedure of my filling. But she didn’t tell me it was going to be that quick, subtle and easy. She has the butterfly touch and her precision is remarkable. As I checked out, the admin team was super nice and I loved how everything was signed electronically. I can’t wait for my next appointment, and may leave a little more time to relax in the speakeasy longer.

Fantastic experience: Misty was the best Hygienist I’ve had here I was very comfortable with her & she didn’t make me feel as if I was horrible with my teeth cleaning routine. She taught me better options about how to regularly clean my teeth but did it in such a positive way! I hope she always does my teeth cleanings!

Fantastic experience: The staff at The Dental Bar are so kind and friendly. The hygienists and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and have a really good way about breaking things down to someone who knows nothing about dental work. I have consistently had awful experiences with multiple different dentists, but I felt totally at ease here as they make comfortability a top priority. It is also one of the most affordable dentist offices that I have visited. On top of everything, they have a speakeasy for patients to wait in and make mocktails or have a canned beverage. Very pleased!

Fantastic experience: To start off, the place was beautiful and clean. You’re greeted by a friendly smile at the front desk. After checking in, she brings you to the patient lounge which is really a speakeasy. No alcoholic drinks but you can help yourself to one non alcoholic beverage. They had a great selection! Liz did all my X-rays, scans, and pictures. She was the absolute SWEETEST. I get dental anxiety and she really made this so easy for me. She provided such in depth explanation about the condition of my gums/teeth and provided so much education on how I can better it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit ! They also provide Netflix, blankets, stress balls, etc if you’re not feeling comfortable. Dr. S did a great job confirming everything afterwards. No negative thing I have to say about the place. Definitely worth checking out!

Fantastic experience: Super kind and what a nice atmosphere! I had to bring my 2 little kids in the stroller and they didn’t fuss at me. Luckily I didn’t need work done but as a formal dental office manager, THIS is the type of dental atmosphere you want to be in.

Negative experience: My honest review after clinic insist. During a filling procedure on the tooth adjacent to my implant, the implant was accidentally damaged by dentist. He briefly apologized but did not offer a clear explanation or take responsibility for the situation, which was disappointing and Charged me $$$$ for fixing it.Additionally, most of the clinical work appeared to be performed by the dental assistant, and the dentist did not personally assess my gums or perform measurements, relying instead on the assistant’s observations.While I understand that unexpected situations can occur during treatment, I was concerned by the lack of thorough communication and personal involvement from the dentist and extra fees.I hope the office will take this feedback constructively to improve patient care and oversight in the future.

I should’ve known it was going to be amazing when they asked me things like, do I want a blanket and if I would like a show set up for me on any of the popular streaming services. My hygienist was Liz, and she has a wealth of knowledge that she was happy to share. I learned more about my mouth today than I have ever in my whole life at any other dentist, ever. On top of that, Dr. Nguyen runs a great practice with highly qualified staff and he knows good barbecue!

Fantastic experience: After breaking up with a dentist I didn’t love, I took a bit too long of a hiatus before finding someone new. I finally took a chance on The Dental Bar and am SO happy I did! From the second I walked in the door, I could tell this wasn’t your average dental office. I was welcomed warmly by Andrew, quickly checked in and escorted to their incredible “speakeasy” patient lounge with a variety of beverages like coffee, tea and sparkling waters to choose from and also an extensive mocktail bar! Shirley, my dental hygienist called me back to the room, explained everything very clearly and made me feel very comfortable. The x-rays were taken right at my chair and then when it was time for my cleaning, she offered me a blanket and headphones and a remote to watch Netflix while she worked on my mouth. She was gentle and thorough and it was done quickly! Dr. Doan came in next to go over my X-rays and scans, and again everything was explained to me clearly and in a calm manner. They set up my next cleaning visit right in the room, gifted me a canvas tote goody bag, and sent me on my way! After my experience today, I will happily be returning every 6 months for my cleanings knowing I’m in such great, kind, caring hands!

Staff and doctors have all been AMAZING at helping me figure it out, making sure I was comfortable, and not passing judgement on my current status of dental health (have been avoiding past 8 years). She talked me through everything that she was doing and seeing. I learned so much about my teeth and left with really tangible, realistic changes that I can make to improve things. Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience at The Dental Bar today! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and the whole vibe of the office is so unique and fun—the hidden door to the waiting room is such a cool touch! While getting work done, they even have TVs on the ceiling with Netflix and headphones, which made the visit so much more comfortable. I came in for cosmetic reasons—one of my front teeth had a filling that cracked, and stains made me super self-conscious. I don’t have dental insurance, but their pricing was very reasonable. I was able to get my exam and tooth fixed the same day without any pressure or upselling, which I really appreciated. Cindy, the dental assistant, was fantastic—she explained everything clearly, and I didn’t feel any pain at all. Andrew also made scheduling easy and stress-free. I left feeling so much more confident, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about how well I was treated and how nice the place is. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I really wanted to like this dentist. The office is very nice and clean and the dentist I met was nice. They use modern technology at their practice so I was impressed. Unfortunately when I showed up to my second appointment I told them my insurance had changed 2 days before and I didn’t have the updated information with me yet. They insisted I needed to pay the entire cash value for my appointment (around $400) up front, and after the insurance was billed then I would get a refund. I said I didn’t have that amount of money to just pay and wait to get back. I asked if my only option was to reschedule. The person I was talking to said that would be ok but they would have to charge me a $50 fee since it was so last minute. So even though I was there, I had insurance but didn’t have it in my hand, even though my husband was in a meeting and said he could get it to me in 5 minutes, they charged me the $50 and I left. No understanding, no willingness to work around it, or find a solution that worked for both of us, no willingness to wait five whole minutes for the information. I know I could’ve tried to have it with me but I’m human and had literally got the notification about the new card arriving less than 24 hours before and I simply forgot. I very much just felt like a number and will not return.

Everything from entering the building and waiting in their “special” waiting area, to sitting in the cleaning/treatment area, the whole visit was such an easy and tailored experience!

The moment I walked into The Dental Bar, I knew they were doing things different. From the speakeasy-style lounge to the way they asked about my comfort preferences during appointments, and even the personalized welcome message on the exam room screen—every detail felt intentional. Dr. Kha Nguyen was incredibly patient and thorough. He took the time to answer all of my questions and clearly explained every option and what each path would entail. Fantastic experience: This was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had! Shirley was attentive and was able to clearly explain ways to improve my dental health. She was able to also give a good time line on what to expect if I were to keep up with my personal brushing habits. Generally, this was an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! Hands down the best adult dentist I've ever been too. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt valued. The atmosphere is wonderful. But let's get real, it all boils down to the dentist and hygienist. Kim, the hygienist, was very personable and made sure I was comfortable. I loved the neck pillow and blanket! Kim did a great job cleaning my teeth and she was very gentle but thorough. Her upbeat personality made sure I continued to feel at ease. Not to mention, watching a movie on Netflix was a plus! Dr. Nguyen is so kind and professional. He went over my exam and explained everything and was sure to ask if I had questions. He is the kind of dentist who sees you as a person, not just a body in the chair. I love the technology in the office as well. I highly recommend The Dental Bar. Whether you're looking for a new dentist or are just "ok" with your current one, I recommend making an appt with The Dental Bar.

Fantastic experience: This place exceeded my expectations. Hygienist Danielle was very friendly and listened to my concerns. She was gentle, yet effective in her cleaning. Dr. Doan was equally as great. Happy to have found them. I’m updating after my second visit. Customer service continues to be outstanding. My hygienist, Liz was so personable and considerate. Dr. Doan did my Xeomin and he was very thorough with both the information and the injections. After years of poor dental experiences, I’m grateful for such a wonderful dental provider!

Fantastic experience: I started coming to this practice right after they opened. I left a dental practice nearby where I had a couple of really bad experiences. From my first visit I felt pampered and completely taken care of, which unfortunately I don't typically associate with going to the dentist. They have fixed a cavity for me, which went really well, and they kept me informed about everything they were doing. And I appreciate how they try to be completely upfront about billing, giving me an estimate before I've even come in. My children have had all of their appointments with them, and they LOVE going to the dentist. They were upset today when I had my appt and I didn't take them with me. They give them great teeth care advise, have fun glasses for the kids to wear during their appt, give them a toy at the end, and they got to watch a fun kid movie while their teeth were inspected. My daughter now pretends she's Dr. Doan when she uses her Dr. toys to play vet with her animals (she thinks all Drs fix everything). She has a love for teeth care that I hope she will be able to keep for the rest of her life, and with Dr. Doan and Dr. Nguyen, who they also love, I have zero concerns about them getting scared of the dentist. They also clearly have a culture of caring with their whole staff, where everyone wants to add to your experience in that office, because I have never had an uncomfortable or confrontational interaction with anyone in that building. Great teeth cleanings, wonderful people, immaculately clean office space, and Netflix! I can't think of anything else to comment on right now, but I am sure their is more to commend!

Fantastic experience: Staff was great and treated me with very good etiquette. Space was inviting. Liz explained everything and was super thorough! And she was super sweet to me! Dr. Nguyen was very calming and let me know that everything was going to work out and if I had any questions to not hesitate. 10/10 would recommend and even getting my stubborn husband to go!

The speak-easy waiting room is amazing—it is such a fun and unique concept and really helps you feel comfortable prior to being seen. The dental hygienists and assistants have all been knowledgeable and passionate, and have helped keep me at ease throughout procedures. They even offer added comfort with neck pillows, blankets, noise-cancelling headphones, and Netflix! Dr. Nguyen is incredibly personable, kind, and gentle. He is a wonderful practitioner and makes sure you feel informed, involved, and knowledgeable about your care. If you’re considering establishing care with The Dental Bar, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen has extended his terrific “bedside manner” to his expert, gentle use of the nova-cane needle. I’ve adversely experienced some “heavy hands” with that device in the past. Dr. Nguyen is as good as it gets with the numbing needle!…can’t imagine going elsewhere in the future!

Waiting room was exceptionally quiet and relaxing. Went to my dental pod and was treated like I was at a spa. Completely catered. The technology in this dental office was outstanding and my privacy was highly maintained. The dentist gave me a thorough review of all X-rays and exam. The cleaning was very pleasant. The staff are all very polite, customer focused and spoke to me in plain language about all my dental needs. I felt completely safe and comfortable. There annual membership is also an incredibly affordable option for those seeking cleaning services. I highly recommend The Dental Bar to anyone seeking all types of dental services. Fantastic experience: Wow. Just wow! This was by far the most incredible experience I’ve had at ANY dental office. First of all the place is gorgeous. How can you not love beautiful aesthetics! And the mocktail bar was epic. Not everyday you walk into a dental office and see a bar! And it’s hidden within the wall, which blew me away. Also, my name was on the flatscreen TV when I walked into my “suite”. The personal touch was very welcoming. I truly felt seen. And while I was getting my deep cleaning, I watched Netflix on the ceiling TV. My dental hygienist (Shirley) did an incredible job explaining everything to me, and was very detailed and thorough with my cleaning and dental plan. She was kind and gentle. She really soothed my nerves as I am very nervous at the dental office typically. The dentist, (Lynn) was also very detailed and told me everything I needed to know about the condition of my teeth, and she put me on a plan that will work for me. The whole staff of Dental Bar are top notch!

I had been searching for a more modern, updated dental office after my previous dentist relocated and Dental Bar exceeded my expectations. From Dr. Doan to the assistant, hygienist, and front office staff, everyone has been incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful. They are thorough and clear when explaining procedures and recommendations, which I really appreciate and makes me feel comfortable. The ambiance and the "bar" concept is super cool and the office is absolutely clean. I highly recommend DB to anyone looking for a new dental home. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: It was a very pleasant experience at this Dentist. They go the distance to ensure patients are relaxed; and during procedures they make sure you are not in pain. Very different from being "manhandled" at any other Dentist. They use AI to provide viewable model of your teeth within minutes and show you before and after results. Very transparent service which I'm sure eases many patients minds. They do offer a form of Dental Insurance for a reasonable price offering comprehensive coverage.

I had anxiety going into the dentist and I needed to have a certain procedure done that I was scared of; therefore, Dr. Doan took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment and answer all of my questions. It was painless and I’m happy with how well they did. They care about their patients, and they were so excited for me when I shared an amazing life update with them! Plus, my schedule was difficult to work with, but they were willing to be flexible and fit me into their busy schedules when it worked best for me. Overall, coming here wiped away my dental anxiety and I highly recommend this wonderful and top-notch dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Where to begin? Everyone from the reception area to the billing desk were extremely courteous and greeted me with smiles. Shirley, Cody and Dr Nguyen were also exceptionally thorough, and engaged me in my treatment and ensured my level of comfort throughout the visit! On top of that the facility is immaculate and the equipment (from my novice opinion) appears to be state of the art! I will be returning and will glady be recommending The Dental Bar!

Fantastic experience: I was very fortunate when looking for a new dentist and found them! Just moved here and needed to find a new dentist. The entire office was very clean and spotless which I personally loved. They are working on being able to serve alcohol but the theme for the dentist is a bar after prohibition which is so unique! I love it! The dental hygienists that worked with us are amazing! My husband and I both had different hygienists but they were both professional, kind, listened and explained everything well. I was not as stressed or anxious like I usually am when going to the dentist. Dr. Nguyen was both my husband and I dentist and we very much appreciated his time and expertise as well as feedback for what we should and need to do for our dental health going forward. We both are happy to have found a dentist that we feel comfortable with.

Fantastic experience: First Impression of the place was amazing! Lauren was very helpful and inviting. Shirley was hands down the best experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist. Most of the time, I would cringe with the scraper tools but Shirley was pleasantly gentle with them. She also gave me new tips with flossing, recommended using a softer toothbrush, and was just overall a comfortable person to chat with. Dr Nguyen was very nice and reassuring about my dental journey due to the issues i described with my previous dentist. I did not meet directly with Dr Doan but she greeted me as I was checking out which really took me aback as most offices , I get ignored. Although I enjoyed the bar and Netflix, the staff is truly the par in this practice!! Thank you all for being a delight! I look forward to my next appointment!

My first thought was the name didn’t seem to match the business until I was shown the fully stocked bar along with a dazzling array of premium liquor. And who enjoys going to the dentist? I found the entire experience to be pleasant. From the LED screen greeting you by name to the caring staff. Ask for hygienist Kim and she will gently walk you through the whole process. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment here, and the office itself has a cool aesthetic. What sets this place apart is the staff; they were all very kind to me. They seem knowledgeable, and I feel like I'm in good hands with my dental needs here, more than I ever did with my previous dentist. They also offer night guards in-house, which I’ll be checking out.
