We accept most PPO dental insurances and also offer financing options. Dr. Brar earned her doctorate in 2016 and joined the practice in 2020. Dr. Brar is a member of ADA, CDA and San Fernando Valley. We offer free 2nd opinions, emergency dental care, same day appointments, exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns & bridges, dental implants, dentures, veneers, Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), teeth whitening, teeth straightening, nightguard, and more. 1 month ago Negative experience: The front office staff...Natalie was very rude ...did not smile once. They have a high turn over with receptionist and Dental Assistants. I can't say anything about the Dentist because the front office was a turn off. Go somewhere else.

Based on the circumstances, we believe the post may be related to an internal employment matter and may have been submitted by a former employee or someone connected to them who briefly visited the office only to return keys. She is very pleasant and cheerful, and exceptionally knowledgeable, proficient and considerate in the work she does. She had to do a lot of work on my teeth, but explained everything thoroughly, developed a practical schedule and did a masterful job on the necessary repairs. Her team was a pleasure to work with, very thorough and accurate in all they do. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Brar and Simi Vally Family Dental as one of the best dentists I've ever had!

2 months ago Positive experience: I choose this office as a result of these Google reviews, however, turns out that these rating are really a reflection of aggressive Google solicitations that the office has put into place. My crown was applied 'just within acceptable margins' (per the dentist herself). We shall see how this 'marginal' crown lasts, but don't fall for this Google star rating, it's just hype. Service is typical at best.

I am a difficult patient to work on physically because I’ve had oral cancer twice, and actually one of the hygienists at D. Brar’s office found my 2nd cancer during a routine cleaning! They take exceptional care of me and my wife, who has extreme dental anxiety. They are so kind, so compassionate. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

The work that I had done I don’t think was very easy and she was able to get it done and never once was I in any pain throughout the whole procedure. Dr. Brar was incredibly professional throughout my appointment, and I could tell she genuinely cares about her patients’ comfort and health. The dental hygienist, Gia, was amazing! She explained every step of the cleaning process and made sure I understood what she was doing. She was also extremely thorough, and my teeth have never felt cleaner! 10 months ago Fantastic experience: Honestly everyone was a 10/10. The receptionist was very helpful even though i had a gazillion questions. The nurse was so sweet and was very communicative the whole time. The best person was the doctor, she was so amazing and so sweet. I had a terrible experience at my last dentist but she is absolutely phenomenal. She explained everything to me instead of me just trying to figure out what’s going on. She was so considerate especially considering what i just went through with my other dentist. This place is amazing. I don’t want to say she’s has powers, but she does. Helped my tooth feel so much better now i have no more pain and don’t have to get a root canal

10 months ago Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best! Dr. Brar has done my veneers, a recent crown, and replaced two fillings. No pain, comfortable during and immediately after. She is very personable, explains what is going on, prices given upfront, and I find her work to be excellent. When my husband suffered from vertigo last year, she was very gentle. I trust her, and am happy to recommend her.

10 months ago Fantastic experience: We have looked for years for a good dentist . No luck. When we found DR. BRAR, in Simi Valley, we hit the jackpot!! Look no more. DR BRAR is exceptional. She is patient, thorough , and spends time with you explaining everything. Her staff, Kayla and Natalie ,(front office) are the BEST! In a comfortable office you're greeted with smiles, helpfulness and real caring. Hard to believe but true. Gia, the hygienist, is friendly and cares. I have NEVER had my teeth cleaned so throughly. Are you getting the theme here? I believe that water seeks it's own level. Everyone at DR BRAR'S office are at the top level.

She is incredibly thorough and informative along with sharing things clearly and a chair side manner that makes you comfortable and at ease. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have had pretty bad dental anxiety for years, which has prevented me from addressing my health in the way I should. This office has been so helpful and supportive in helping me find realistic solutions to my concerns and fears. Dr Brar helped me make a plan, explained every step along the way, and seems like she really, really cares. There was absolutely no judgement at all. Even while getting fillings done which seemed so intimidating and scary before, they paid so much attention to my needs and addressed any and all questions I had very clearly. I would definitely recommend this office! I feel so much better after my visit like a weight has been lifted.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I brought my 89 year old mom who has dementia to the practice for the first time. She doesn’t have dental insurance, and I was concerned about the outcome of the visit. Everyone treated her with kindness and respect. After her exam Dr. Brar explained her findings and did not recommend or push any costly procedures. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go to Dr. Brar.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Amazing office. I called with an emergency visit request and they were extremely accommodating. Dr. Brar was extremely welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable after a 30 year fear of dentist visits. She explained my options clearly and was honest about the life expectancy of the possible repair. They got me a referral and immediate visit with a specialist and got my problem solved. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Simi Valley Family Dental for my recent dental treatment. I came in for a deep cleaning, and Gia, the dental practitioner who worked on me, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly gentle, explained each step clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The office is clean, modern, and welcoming. If you're looking for professional dental care in Simi Valley, I highly recommend this place. They’re located at the corner of Sycamore and Alamo streets, on the 2nd floor. There’s no signage outside, so it can be a little tough to find...but it’s definitely worth it once you’re inside!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Staff is wonderful and timely. If you’re new there’s a good amount of admittance paperwork, but you can see it’s because they are thorough. I love seeing an office operated and owned by women. Gia was my hygienist and is so sweet and gentle. After my cleaning, Dr. Brar met with me to discuss current care, habits and preventative measures/future planning. Everyone on staff is warm and welcoming. Nothing negative to say like a trusty mouth mechanic. I’m happily bringing in my family to support soon.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I am grateful to have found this office. Every person I encountered was amazing. Not joking. I have always had anxiety going to checkups and getting dental work done. The shot you get to numb your mouth? Dr Brar did that without me feeling any pain. She spent so much time correcting my bite, super patient. Seriously, it’s wonderful to know businesses care these days. I don’t care how cheesy this sounds, I can’t wait for my next cleaning once the new year comes.

Made me feel at ease no pain and took me in at a critical moment… chipped tooth! Walked out stoked and confident!! A super great office and staff! 1 year ago Fantastic experience: Dr. Brar has provided me with a perfectly fitting partial, a partial crown and replaced fillings as needed, all with the expertise you would expect from a highly trained dentist. I really appreciate her informative and compassionate demeanor. She works very closely with her hygienist ensuring any irregularities are addressed immediately. Her staff is always very friendly and professional, keeping me informed of insurance issues and any other matters that are needed before and after my appointments. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: Had the most “relaxing “ pain free (except for the shot) filling for a cavity and filling replacement. Dr. Brar ‘s office is clean and filled with the state of the art equipment. Her office staff is professional, friendly and efficient. Her dental hygienist Gia is thorough and my teeth always feel great after a cleaning. I recommend all of my friends and family to Dr. Brar. If you want to feel confident in a dentist, see Dr. Brar.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Dr. Brar makes me feel comfortable and I am not so stressed! I would dodge dentist as much as possible but not now. Everyone at the office is friendly and pay attention to patient ms needs. Relaxing is the key and she helps with that while working on my teeth. Now I don’t mind getting my teeth cleaned and getting work done that is needed. Highly recommend Dr. Brar.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Dr Brar is an excellent dentist and has been very good to me. When we sent in my partial to the lab to get some adjustments made, Fed-Ex had lost the shipment. So we had to start from scratch again and she took really good care of me not only financially but also expedited the whole matter so I would not be without my partial for too long. She continues to make sure that my teeth remain are cavity free. I highly recommend her especially for people like me who can think of lots of other things to do besides going to the dentist.
