I’m a retired general dentist that moved here 2 years ago to be with my kids and grand kids. I knew what I wanted in the philosophy of dental diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Shih and her staff run a very professional practice that my wife and I have been very happy with.

They will always ask you during the dental visit how you are feeling. They go the extra mile to make sure you are well. So many people are afraid of going to the dentist, but their staff wants to make sure you are well during the visit.

Experiencia negativa: Was a longterm established patient (20yrs). I'm now having to switch from being priced out of their services as a self pay client. Loyalty should be rewarded but there was no negotiating. Anne at the front desk has not only made several mistakes, she outright made me cry twice. I was given a $10 gift card to apologize for it once. I appreciate the hygenists and Tina Shih. I'm leaving feeling "less than" due to my financial standing. I will miss them and am sad I can't afford it anymore. She was a patient and accommodating dentist. Would give zero stars for Anne.

Our family went to a different dentist for about two years when we moved here and that dentist always wanted to do all sorts of unnecessary dental work on us just to make money off of us. Dr. Shih has never done that. And Dr. Shih has always been very careful in treating us to make sure we never experienced any pain from fillings or dental work. I hope she never retires. Earlier review: Dr. Shih is a fantastic dentist. Besides her skills as a highly competent dentist, she is very friendly and my wife and I trust her 100%. Our previous dentist would continually recommend dental procedures that we didn't need. But because our previous dentist saw that there was additional unused insurance funds in our account, that dentist always tried to get us to have totally unnecessary dental procedures. Sadly, from what I have heard from other people in this area, there are more than a few dentists that try to take advantage of their patients. Dr. Shih's staff is also fantastic. They do great work and they are also really friendly and helpful. We'd highly recommend Dr. Shih to anyone.

As a new patient who just moved to the area, it can be difficult finding new providers. Dr. Shih and her staff, Kelli, and Connie were friendly and professional. They explained the plan for the session what to expect as they worked, and gave future timeliness for ideal maintenance of my teeth (6 month cleanings). From check in to check out, this office was phenomenal and I would recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a rather wonderful practice! Everyone working here is extremely friendly, and even the dynamics among the staff (and Dr. Shih herself) feel so peaceful and amiable. Dr. Shih is one of the most gentle souls I have ever met. She treats her patients with incredible patience and tenderness, and always has the patients' best interests at heart. She is also very knowledgeable and skilled. (One time I was at the office of the endodontist she referred me to, and I overheard the endodontist talking to his assistant in the hallway about how beautiful Dr. Shih's work was. So apparently her skills are acknowledged by her colleagues as well.) I feel very fortunate to be Dr. Shih's patient and be taken care of by her. All thanks to her, going to the dentist is no longer a scary experience!

My husband struggles with needles, but before giving Novocain, Dr. Shih applies a topical numbing agent first and he never feels the injection! Dr. Shih has been wonderful with my boys—when one needed a cavity filled he didn’t even realize he was getting a shot because she was so gentle. We also adore our dental hygienist, Kelly. She’s extremely patient and kind with my wiggly boys :-). Love this dental practice! Updated 2021: We’ve added a shy, timid but opinionated little girl to our mix and she just had her first dental appt with Dr. Shih. She had the absolute BEST first dental visit—Kelly, the hygienist, and Dr. Shih treated her like royalty and even “cleaned” her doll’s teeth before touching my daughter’s mouth. My daughter got to see all the tools being used on her doll prior to anything happening to her and it eased her worries so much! She also took a “ride” up and down in the chair which delighted her immensely. Kelly and Dr. Shih spoiled her rotten and she now shows everyone her bouncy ball and toy teeth she received for being so good. She is so proud of herself! Love this practice!!! ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give this office zero stars, the lady in the front office named Anne lied and told me they accept insurance I came in had my cleaning done they took my insurance card and everything. A few weeks later I recieved a letter the mail about me having to pay 83 dollars I was told by the office the uh accepted insurance and accepted MetLife I call them on the phone the whole time they never accepted insurance and now I have to pay 83 dollars which they are not going to get because I am going to talk to my insurance company and get it fixed. I dont recommend anyone going here unless you want to pay out of pocket I dont mine paying the 83 dollars but it's the principle of the it they are liars and they lied to my face and when it comes to my money I dont deal with liars I will find another office to do business with and I will share my experience with others and let people know all about this office and not to come. Please beware and realize this office doesnt accept insurance and will lie about it like they did me.
