I found them when I moved to town, but had to wait for my other dental insurance to expire so that I could sign up for their annual plan, which is a great deal - probably better than having dental insurance. Highly recommend.

The administrator knew my name, the hygienist was ready for me and spoke softly while cleaning to relieve any anxiety during the cleaning and examination. Dr. John was friendly and personable and sat down with me before and after his exam. As a state employee, they made it easy to take my insurance and managed any billing. Update: 6-months later and maintained the same great service. Lisa cleaned my teeth and was very gentle. Dr. Wayand gave a thorough exam with a couple places to watch and sent me along the way. Very positive and kind team.

I think he retired/sold it, so I can not speak for the new one I absolutely recommend coming here for fillings and dental care. I've always had a strong fear of needles and shots, and I swear, I did not feel ANYTHING. When I started feeling slightly uncomfortable, he took his time and made sure to let the anesthetic work before continuing. Everyone is super friendly here as well, and it is overall a great practice.

Then I found Dr Wayand and I won't ever go anywhere else. He is so caring and gentle. I have had 2 crowns and a filling and have had absolutely NO pain! He checks in with me throughout the procedures to be sure I am comfortable. The rest of his staff are also friendly and very competent. I no longer worry about finding extra charges on my bill (yes, that really happened a few times with other dentists.) If you have any anxiety about going to the dentist, make an appointment with Dr Wayand now. And even if you don't get anxiety with dental work, go there anyway for competent, caring service!!
