The hygienist was accommodating for me during the exam and provided extra support to help with any anxiety and pain/sensitivity that arose.

Experiencia negativa: The dental hygienist is great and the dentist is good; however, the office policies and customer service are lacking. I arrived for my 12:00 PM cleaning, checked in, and was waiting when an urgent work issue came up at 12:10 PM—before I was even taken back. I was told I could reschedule but would be charged $65. Within 30 minutes of leaving, I received a bill. When I called, I was simply told, “That’s our policy.” Disappointing customer service, especially since I bring multiple family members here and there are plenty of dentists to choose from. The office is very rigid and not customer‑focused. I do not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: First and foremost, the dental hygienist is great, and the dentist is pretty good as well. Unfortunately, the office policies and overall customer service are highly lacking. I arrived for my scheduled 12:00 PM cleaning, checked in, and was waiting to be called back. At 12:10 PM before the hygienist had even picked me up my boss texted that she needed to meet with me urgently. When I informed the front desk, I was told I could reschedule but would be charged a $65 fee. Notably, when I checked in, I was already required to sign a reschedule/cancellation notice. Within 30 minutes of leaving the office, I received a text message stating that $65 was due. When I called to discuss it, the only response I received was, “Sorry, that’s our policy.” This is disappointing customer service especially given that I am bringing three family members to this practice and there are dental offices on nearly every corner. Customer experience and flexibility are extremely important to me, and this office operates in a very rigid manner. I do not recommend this office based on customer service alone.

Experiencia negativa: Waiting area was dirty, food was smeared across the seats. I arrived 20 minutes early with all forms and insurance completed well in advance of the appointment date, only to be taken back 20 minutes after my appointment was scheduled (40 minutes wait time). Technician was incredibly rough while doing X-rays, and only after those were completed did she say that it was too late in the day to complete a cleaning and I would need to reschedule for another time. I scheduled in with a different dentist office as soon as I got back to my car from this appointment, and I would never consider returning to Smile on Wells.

She made me feel incredibly calm, comfortable, and cared for, and I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain during the procedure. The clinic is beautiful, new, and very cozy, and the entire team is extremely friendly and welcoming. The prices are also very reasonable. Even though I live in Dallas and have to drive about 3 hours, it is absolutely worth it. Dr. Michele will definitely be my dentist from now on!

She has refused many times over the years to even open her mouth at other dentist offices, and Dr. Sousa and staff were able to clean her teeth and even get some X-rays this time. I decided to follow suite and was not disappointed. My dental assistant was so friendly and sweet and when I tell you they do a thorough job!! My old dentist only spent a fraction of time on the cleaning and explanation of everything. I was recommended to get a night guard and have gone back in for that to be scanned and made. They have a great set up and have top of the line equipment and friendly staff that actually greet you and smile when you come in. Safe to say I’ll be going here up until I move if not life! They also were more than accomodating when I had to bring my son. They even gave him a toy at the end of the visit for being a patient little visitor.

The dental hygienist clearly explained all the cleaning procedures and how to maintain a healthy teeth cleaning habits. The head dentist was awesome and did a great job with the checkup. She throughly reviewed my dental history and took her time to discuss my current dental situation. I was very happy with the service and will be smiling on Wells !!

From the front desk all the way down to the janitor. Well, I've never met the janitor, but I'm sure if I did they'd be amazing as well. I'm super grateful my previous dentist office stopped taking my insurance (out of network). Because I would have never found Dr. Souza and her amazing staff. To all at Smiles On Wells. But at Smiles on Wells, Dr. Souza is incredibly attentive with her patients. She is very warm, asks about my life, and remembers personal details the next time I see her.
