Experiencia fantástica: After moving to Austin, I never quite found a dental office that felt like the one I loved back in Michigan. That changed today. My appointment at Gallop Family Dentistry was thorough, informative, and surprisingly enjoyable, which is not something I typically say about dental visits. The team took the time to complete x-rays, explain what they were seeing, discuss recommendations, and answer all of my questions. What stood out most was that they genuinely valued my input and made me feel like a partner in the conversation about my dental health. Everyone was professional, welcoming, and accommodating, and I never felt rushed. As someone who isn't exactly known for loving trips to the dentist, I left feeling informed, comfortable, and confident in the care I received. The office is about 30 minutes from my home, but it is absolutely worth the drive. For the first time since relocating to Austin, I feel like I've finally found a dental practice I can stick with long term. I highly recommend Dr. Gallop and the entire team to anyone looking for compassionate, patient-centered dental care.

Experiencia negativa: I moved to the area recently and trying to find a dentist close by. Then I realized that if you are a new patient, especially with a non-Austin phone number, save your time and effort with them. They never answer calls and will suggest to use text as their best way to communicate. When you actually followed their instruction and text them, they are not likely to reply, more so if you are not using an Austin phone number. I have concerns about texting private info and they suggest to use other dentistry. I moved ton Austin a few years ago and have kept my number. Apparently I am not cool enough to be able set up an appointment with them. At least until today, they have no plan to answer phone calls. As I writing the review now, I guess this (no answering phone call and delay in replying text etc) might be their way to quietly say no to new patients.

I called Gallop Family Dentistry, panicked. They got me in the same day. Fixed my tooth so that it looked even better than it had before it fractured. Dr Gallop and Katherine were amazing! We had to change dentists due to insurance changes for 2014 and the dental practice we went to was awful. We were pressured to do things that weren't needed and the cleaning was a flossing and brushing. We are now back at Dr. Gallop and glad to say we got our normal thorough cleaning and pleasant staff. We recommend this office highly.
