Experiencia fantástica: Awesome place, Dr Jung and his team is great. Rochelle and Callie were so very nice and friendly. Rochelle will make you laugh, she is hilarious. If you have any dental anxiety, you won't feel it here after a few minutes of chatting with them. Dr. Jung is very thorough in his evaluation, I feel that he is looking out for the best outcome for everyone - especially your teeth!

It’s been several years since I have visited a dentist and while I didn’t expect the news to be good, I was impressed with the way Dr. Hsu reviewed the steps I needed to take and were able to get me scheduled for my procedure the next day! Dr. Hsu was extremely gentle, friendly, and knowledgeable. Allie and Amber were super personable and walked me through the whole process and reviewed prices with me to make sure I was comfortable proceeding. The facility is welcoming, clean, and modern. The location is super easy to get in and out of with ample parking. *Update* I had my first root canal here yesterday and I was a little nervous when I arrived. It was a STELLAR experience. The specialist was so sweet! I felt a little pain at ONE point and raised my hand. He immediately numbed it more and I was golden for the rest of the visit and through the crown fitting. They also have Netflix on a TV on the ceiling and hand you a remote for it. Boy does that make the time fly!!! I wasn’t even paying attention to what they were doing. Genius, simple solution. Wonderful experience.

I normally don’t go here regularly (first time) but I wasn’t accommodated quick enough by my current dental office I’ve been going to for 10+ years (somewhere else) after my crown had broke in half in my mouth. Left with an open, sharp tooth area. I sensed that it was pretty urgent so I saw some amazing reviews on Google about Whitestone Family Dentistry so I decided to give them a call. Not only did they fit me in same day, but was greeted with the nicest office staff and had the greatest experience with Amy, and then Dr Jung! They are both trustworthy, kindhearted, welcoming and very good at what they do. He got my temp crown in, and had my next appt the very next day to do the crown fitting. His hygienist Richelle was awesome! She kept me laughing, comfortable and happy throughout my whole appt. They efficiently handled my insurance with no problems, and quickly! Dr Jung did a fantastic job with the temp/prep crown process so far and really looking forward to calling this office “my new dentist” I’ll be returning to! I love his humor, knowledge and incredible work he does! They were thrilled when I told them that!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a patient at Whitestone Family Dentistry since 2023, and overall, it’s been a great experience. Today, during my regular check-up (with a wonderful new hygienist), I was examined by a new doctor who informed me that I need several more crowns (surprise!). What’s most concerning is that I have cavities near a new implant that was placed just a few months ago. It raises a serious question: why weren’t these issues addressed before the final implantation was completed? To make things more confusing, the treatment plan I received today includes a bone graft for a tooth that has already undergone full implantation. The doctor I had previously is no longer there, and now I’m left unsure about continuing my care at this office. It might be time to find a new provider.

I went back and forth and decided to keep my 6 month follow-up to see what the x-rays showed. Dr. Wong, the doctor I saw yesterday was awesome! Patient, clear in her diagnosis, gave me options and discussed what might happen with each option...while supporting it all with x-rays and explanation. I'm back to being a loyal patient, with a semi-preemptive filling scheduled next week and an appointment scheduled in 6 months. Thanks for caring about your patients and thanks to Dr. Wong for her wonderful bedside manner!!

Experiencia fantástica: Another great visit to Whitestone Family Dentist on Whitestone. My cleaning was done by a new-to-me hygienist, Sam, who is a very good communicator. He answered all my questions at a level I could understand, and he did a very good job on the cleaning. I recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: I visited Whitestone Family Dentistry today as a new patient, and my experience was quite disappointing. I had high hopes for my visit based on previous Google Reviews, but left feeling unsatisfied and concerned about their approach to patient care. Upon my arrival, I underwent a series of x-rays, digital scans, and oral examinations from a very sweet dental hygienist. However, my experience took a disheartening turn during my conversation with the dentist. She asked a series of questions regarding my diet, I explained I have a pretty boring diet that follows a meal plan, if I suffered from acid reflux, which I said no, and how much coffee I drank (2 cups a week), all which seemed reasonable at first. However, she then proceeded to ask (in front of two other hygienists in the room) if I had/previously suffered from an eating disorder. This question was not only inappropriate but also unprofessional. What if I had indeed been suffering from such an issue? This insensitive approach made me uncomfortable and left me with a negative impression. Moreover, the dentist informed me that she had "good news and bad news" and that the good news was that my teeth look good, no cavities, no major issues or concerns. However the "bad news" was that I needed a "deep cleaning" due to plaque buildup under my gums in a few spots which she pointed out on the x-rays, a procedure that would require numbing and a substantial amount of time. I inquired about a regular cleaning as an alternative, given the high cost associated with the deep cleaning. To my surprise, the dentist dismissed this as against her "professional advice" and insisted on the deep cleaning, stating she would be doing me a "disservice" by just doing a standard cleaning vs. a deep cleaning on my teeth. This inflexible approach felt more like a sales pitch than genuine patient care. She would rather I leave with no dental cleaning, than a basic cleaning, claiming it would be MORE of a disservice? The final blow was the cost estimate for the deep cleaning—$792, even with insurance. I found this to be excessive, considering the dentist stated there were no major concerns about my teeth other than some spots which needed a deeper clean. It seemed as though they were focused on financial gain rather than my well-being. Even after I expressed my concerns, they were not willing to provide a regular cleaning option. Ultimately, I left without any dental cleaning, feeling that their priorities were more aligned with their own financial interests than with my dental health. I have insurance, yet the cost for a deep cleaning was exorbitant, and their refusal to consider a more affordable option left me disillusioned. I have decided not to return to Whitestone Family Dentistry. I believe that a dental practice should prioritize patient care and well-being over financial gains. I will be seeking a more professional and patient-centered dental office that truly has the best interests of its patients at heart.

I first brought my 3 kids here and was super worried they would be scared or the staff wouldn’t have enough patience and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Kim is THE SWEETEST, KINDEST, and most PATIENT hygienist I have ever met. Dr. Johnson was also sooo patient with my kids and all around a cool guy. I went back for myself and had Jackie. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HER AND HER PERSONALITY. She’s honest, kind, and very knowledgeable. You won’t regret coming here. Megan up front is also super sweeet and always makes us feel welcomed❤️❤️

Experiencia positiva: ETA this office has made things right and the employees are willing to be helpful. My experience at this office started out great and went south quickly. I have called the office on numerous occasions and am never able to get ahold of anyone. For some reason my automatic payments had stopped coming out and I was not notified until the account had went to collections. I called and left a voicemail regarding this matter and Megan did eventually reach back out but could not give me answers on why no one emailed me to let me know this was going on. I asked Megan several times about paying the collection balance off and receiving the rest of my Invisalign trays as well as a few replacements that my dentist told me could be done at anytime while I was in treatment at no additional charge. Megan’s answer changed every time I’d ask the same question regarding paying it off and finishing my treatment plan. (I made sure to put emphasis on this with my dentist and he assured me this would not be an issue.) First, I was told that yes that wouldn’t be a problem but would need to call billing to pay first. I asked again and said I wanted solid guarantee answers and she told me that there was a new dentist and the dentist would likely want to start the entire treatment plan over and l would need to pay all the money again as well as the original treatment plan that was sent to collections. I asked once again and received yet another different answer and was told to call their business department because it was out of their hands and there was nothing she could do to assist. Now I’m receiving calls from a debt collector regarding this debt and was instructed to call the dental office so they could answer more detailed questions regarding action going forward and paying this debt and receiving the full service I paid for but again, no one is answering the phone.

Experiencia fantástica: Whitestone Family Dentistry has changed dentists 3 times in the last few years. I almost left and didn't go back bc of the last dentist they had. She was terrible. BUT, they now have a new dentist to rave about! Dr. Hunter Johnson was awesome. I went in for a cleaning with my daughter and he did a great job and gave us good advice about keeping our teeth white. He is very meticulous and makes sure he inspects every nook and cranny of your teeth. I love that he cared about my my teeth like they were his own. I would highly recommend this dentist. The staff is great too. His dental hygienist was caring. The front desk staff is very friendly and show they care about you too. Great place. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I have a SEVERE dental phobia. I was experiencing pain so I called Whitestone Family Dental Wednesday and 1 1/2 hours later I was in the chair. The Doctor and staff are nothing short of amazing. They were extremely kind, with no guilt trips about how long it had been. I would give more stars if they were available. I am actually looking forward to taking care of several dental issues with Doctor Hsu and the staff.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first experience here and at was excellent. They have all the latest technology, but most of all they have a wonderful staff. Dr. Johnson is great and easy to talk to. Heather was equally great as my hygienist and gave me good pointers on how to take even better care of my teeth. Jackie walked me through all my x-rays and scans with a great sense of humor. Last but not least, Megan helped me set the appointment, square insurance, and made me feel at home when I arrived. Excellent experience. Excellent people!

Both the hygienist and Dr. Hunter were gentle and thorough and made sure I was comfortable each step of the way. Both acknowledged and validated my concerns as well as my Hashimotos disease and how it affects my health and teeth. We have definitely found our dental team!

The whole team was very kind and professional and Dr. Johnson was honest and trustworthy. 10/10 would recommend. Faith restored in dentists!

Experiencia fantástica: Whitestone Family Dentistry is great! I came here as a new patient yesterday and was blown away by the care I received! Being new to the area, I was on Reddit looking for a good dentist and was told to come here. They took multiple images and xrays of my teeth (even a 3D model of my teeth which was super cool). The dentist and hygienist were both so sweet and explained everything to me in detail. They also accept CareCredit which is nice when you are in a pinch or have an emergency.
