Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Dr. Hoang by a coworker, and he’s been great. My wife went first and had a really good experience, so I decided to come in for a few crown replacements too. Big shoutout to Susan for being super transparent about the insurance co-pays and out-of-pocket costs—no surprises, which I really appreciated. Rosa, his assistant, was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I had one stubborn crown that several other dentists replaced, but I always had issues with food getting stuck. I mentioned it to Dr. Hoang, and he got it right. Since the replacement, I haven’t had that problem at all. Really happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: I woke up having severe sharp pains on my right side of my mouth from my ear to jaw. I called in to see if I could come in for an emergency visit to see what is going on. I was told over the phone 75.00 dollars. When I came in the lady at the front switched the price to 95.00 dollars saying that if the problem isn’t in the lower area and is in the top of my right side that’s extra costs. I went through with the X-ray. At first the dentist said he could pull the tooth then the lady came and said he doesn’t want to anymore. Additionally, I was prescribed three medications. The pain relief medication I was prescribed when taken to the pharmacy did NOT even exist anymore. I was confused and weary of why that would occur. I called over the front desk lady answered and asked if I could let the pharmacist speak with the doctor to switch the medication to some th in similar. Of course based on protocol and proper procedures the pharmacist declined and said the doctor needed to write a brand new prescription for an actual medication. I told the front desk worker and she became upset and said she will refund me come back to the office. I drove over and when I got there she asked for all the prescriptions. I expressed they are at the pharmacy the one that could not be filled. She threatened me saying “ God does not like that something will happen to you in a few days” I immediately recorded and was taken back at her boldness to just threaten me. She said I used the others so it wasn’t right. She told me to come back for the refund I just wanted the pain killers for the pain I’ve been dealing with. I have never had such a horrific experience in my entire life. It’s now Saturday and I still need to find someone who can see me.

Dr.Hoang tells me the truth at the moment and lets me decide how I wish to proceed. I value his respect, honesty, and integrity. He also does the cleanings himself nstead of checking a hygienist work, which is unique. I recommend him and the entire Grayson Family Dental Care team.

The receptionist (Susan) is very helpful. She made sure I will not be paying a sky rocketing amount for a dental procedure. She presented how much coverage I can get prior to doing the dental work. There was no issue setting up an appointment as well. At first I was having second thoughts but as soon as I stepped into the clinic, there was an atmosphere of comfort. The staff knows their craft. Dr. Hoàng is a very good dentist. I am usually nervous whenever I go to a dentist appointments before. But Dr Hoàng makes you feel at ease that it almost feels like home sitting on a recliner. His assistant is very skillful that it almost synchronize when they move and do the job. I sat in the dental chair for over an hour and it didn't even feel like I sat that long. Now, i am up again for my next appointment. Can't wait to get back to Dr Hoangs clinic and have another dental work.

The Dentist is amazing and very kind with his patients. I find it rare that a dentist would be very social and empathetic towards a patient, or at least from what I’ve heard and seen from experience. I’ve grown up having Tebo Dentistry as my teeth care for year, and as they aim for child dentistry, I still find Grayson Family Dentistry as a better quality atmosphere of a genuine experience.

The front office staff were so friendly, informative and attentive. They kept me abreast of his process as I waited in the lobby. He said the dentist was very friendly and nice. After his appointment the drawing desk staff was very informative of showing us what work he needed next and in what order to come back in to receive treatment. They are very affordable and work w/you if you don’t have insurance. I made me an appt while I waited on my husband bc of their bedside manner and attention to detail.

Experiencia negativa: Call to make an appointment for my son, gave them my dental insurance over the phone but I let them know that we had a 2nd one from my husbands job. She asked me to call her back with details as it’s Friday and they need to check benefits before my son’s visit. We looked for the card unable to find it but I was able to remember the name. Called them back an Asian accent lady answered and I explain to her I wasn’t able to get it as we are working and don’t have it on hand, but I had the name so she could try to find benefits with that and of course my husbands information. She said she couldnt as there were many insurance under the same name ( different regions basically). I work in the medical field and if we want the business we will look for the information and try to get the patients in as soon as possible. Made my reaserch and yes there was 39. Yet it only takes 30 seconds to know if there is coverage or not and move to the next. I said so you are telling me you can’t check for benefits? She said no ma’am. I’m like then I might just go somewhere else because I don’t have more info. She answer so you want me to cancel appointment. I took a deep breath …and said no I never said to cancel . She must not really care for my bussness. If this appointment was for myself I would have cancel right away but it’s for my son and I want him to get seen. So I told her I would call her back with info. I was able to get a hold of my husband and he was able to get information through his benefits website. So I call her and give her the information… then she calls me back to ask if we could jump start the visit that day and I said I was at work but that I was going to ask my dad to take him. My dad was not able to get there on time and when I got home it was too late to go or give a call back. I come to the appointment next morning (1/18/25) , for them to tell me that he might not be able to get seen since he didn’t go the day before. By the way the woman in the desk (not Asian) didn’t smile, greet us or anything, but I was like what ever. So I tell her my appointment was for today and she then said but we moved it for yesterday. I told her no one change the appointment why would you do that. Also he was coming today as well so why are you telling me he can’t be seen? Keep in mind we were the first ones at the clinic and no one was waiting at all. She then repeats I have to ask doctor if we can see him and adds but if we are able to see him your gonna have to wait. I’m looking around and there is no one … so I said no ma’am I never changed my appointment but it’s ok I don’t need to be seen anymore and walk out…. Bad customer service, they rather be rude and lazy than to bank a few 1000s of dollars…. Because they just lost 3 adults in services they could have profit from…. Doctor if you see this your business needs someone to represent your practice in better manner. I’m sorry that you have lost 3 possible patients due to the incompetence of your employees. You worked too hard for people not to care for your bussness.

I came across Grayson Family Dental and read the reviews and decide to give them a try. This was the best decision for my daughter and I. Susan got us in quick, he filled my daughters cavities the next day and we couldn't be happier. I give this office a 10!!! They make you feel comfortable, and they have a sense of humor. Experiencia fantástica: I called because I had two bad cavity’s the nice lady Susan answered the phone she was so polite she can tell I needed help and she helped me the same day I came in filled out my palate work and they did my X-ray and pulled my two teeth my anxiety was bad but DR.Joe Hoang made my anxiety go away I didn’t even feel a thing not even the shot to numb my mouth this is the best dentist/ doctor I have ever been to I highly recommend this doctor !! This doctor is a 10/10 for me
