As someone who isn’t from the DMV and has tried a bunch of dental practices, I can confidently say this place is IT! They are professional, efficient, and get straight to the point with everything explained clearly and no runaround. They genuinely just want to help, and they do it in a timely, seamless way. All of the techs are so kind, and Nicole at the front desk is amazing and so welcoming. The ambiance is also such a plus. It is calm, cute, and really well thought out with pink walls, relaxing music, and decor that actually makes you feel at ease. I would 100% recommend starting here because you won’t want to go anywhere else!

Nicole at the front desk is wonderful, she makes sure to remind you of your appointments and offers different treatment plan options, which is very helpful. Dr. Sharai is absolutely fantastic! She is gentle, caring, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really makes you feel confident and at ease. She truly puts her patients first. I came in with a broken tooth and sensitivity, and she handled everything with such care and patience. I was able to go about my day and even teach my Zumba class that same afternoon without any pain!!! After a root canal and fixing my tooth! I’m so grateful I no longer have any discomfort. She is truly a rare gem. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Short story: get a second opinion UPD: Other dentist said he wouldn’t have recommended any fillings except the wisdom teeth, which could’ve been left to rot until removal. I wasted $500 and earned a health issue that could’ve been easily avoided. Went again after the review (initially 3 stars), had a weird convo re trust, was refused services, followed by a letter essentially banning me, since there’s no trust. Trust is earned, Dr Sahrai. You’ve done nothing but destroy your reviews-based credibility. Long story: 1. Came here for a regular check up. Was given a treatment plan with a dozen of fillings and a night guard with an estimate price tag of $2.6K. I thought that I might just do some of them, if need be. Plus, American dental healthcare, right? I wanted to trust Dr Sahrai and the glowing reviews, get this over with, so when asked if I wanted to do some fillings immediately, said yes. In retrospect, probably a red flag. 2. When I asked Nicole how come some fillings were not covered in the treatment plan, she lied. She started telling me that it was a matter of surfaces, so if it’s a four surface filling, it might not be covered. Checked with insurance, it’s a filling per tooth, under max. Also check your EOB and ask for a refund if overpaid. Might take months, though. 3. When I asked Dr Sahrai in my second visit how come I got a dozen cavities if for the past few years I was given an ok and if these cavities absolutely required fillings, she said “well, you got more if we’re counting,” and showed me some X-ray differences, but not the teeth I got done. Could’ve been my fault, I should’ve asked to go over each tooth. Later, when I had complications, turns out not all of them were cavities. Some of them are “defect fillings” with dentin exposed, which again, I thought I should’ve felt, but I had zero symptoms. But, in the end, she lied or omitted the fact that not all of them were cavities. 4. After the first visit, I used the email us box on their website asking for X-Rays. I didn’t get a response in time before the next visit, and they have a $75 cancellation fee, so I just went. Just call them, if you need anything. 5. I did have stains on my wisdom teeth while x rays have been clean for years. Past dentists said to just watch them. I didn’t have any pain when Dr was examining them, which if I had a cavity I should’ve felt pain, no? Kudos to Dr that she didn’t just push immediate removal of wisdom teeth. But, I still don’t know if the filling was necessary. The x ray was clean, I had no pain or any other symptom. In the middle of the filling process, she took the thing keeping my mouth open and my tongue on the other side out of my mouth to ask I wanted a pulp cap for extra $100. I saw the question essentially as “do you want an infection?” Also, the fact that she needed to ask that in thr middle of the procedure is a bit off putting. So, she did a deep filling. Another tooth nearby had a filling for the reason of “defect filling” which also didn’t give me any issues prior. 6. Make sure you no longer feel the foreignness from the filling, don’t fall for “we’ll readjust next time, if need be.” It’s been three months, and I can’t drink coffee or eat a hot meal without feeling my left jaw pulsing. I did come back for an examination a month later. She said all was good, might need to come back later if symptoms worsen and get a root canal. Oh, was told I wouldn’t be charged for that follow-up, and I was, for the X-ray. It feels like I’ll just have to hold my jaw every time I eat or drink anything hot. Had I paused or gotten a second opinion, perhaps I could enjoy my meals peacefully for longer. Was it indeed a cavity? Was Dr Sahrai actually doing a good job when other dentists didn’t want to do a filling on a wisdom tooth? I don’t know. What I do know is that I had no issues before. If it was a cavity, maybe I had a decade or more before it rotted away. Are my sensitivity issues related to the wisdom tooth and not the “defect filling” where the sensitivity started? I don’t know.

I’m quite anxious about dental visits and had to go through a long treatment process after an injury last year, but they made the entire experience so much easier. Dr. Sahrai has an incredibly gentle touch and was always patient and careful, which made a huge difference for me. If there’s one small thing that could be improved, it would be having easy access to copies of X-rays and scans for personal records, as I’ve needed to repeat imaging when seeing other specialists or when receiving treatment in my home country. Still, this was without a doubt a five-star experience, and I always recommend Blossom Dentistry.

She explained everything thoroughly and showed exceptional patience and compassion, especially for someone like me who experiences severe dental anxiety. Her calm demeanor and willingness to take her time made the visit much more comfortable than expected. I also want to give special recognition to the dental assistant who worked with me during my visit. Although I regret not remembering her name, she was absolutely wonderful—kind, gentle, attentive, and incredibly reassuring. She made sure I was comfortable at all times and played a huge role in helping me feel calm and supported throughout my appointment. My one concern was not being provided with a complete, itemized printout of my paid bill, including details of the dental plan, at the conclusion of my visit. This information should be automatically provided to all patients without requiring them to request it, as transparency is an essential part of patient care. Aside from this issue, my experience was very positive, and I would still recommend Blossom Dentistry for their quality of care, professionalism, and welcoming atmosphere.

The Blossom at the Watergate is extremely clean, and the staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. Dr. Sahrai is knowledgeable and caring, and her assistants are excellent. Nichole at the front desk was especially helpful—she clearly explained the procedures, insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket costs. I was very pleased with my visit and look forward to continuing my dental care here. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience — they basically refused to see me because I couldn’t get my x-rays sent over IMMEDIATELY from my prior dentist and I declined have a new set of complete x-rays (20+ x-rays total that insurance only covers every 3-5 years). They tried to tell me that they wouldn’t charge me if my insurance didn’t cover it but we all know that’s a total lie. They had me sit in the chair for 45 minutes waiting to get my x-rays and all I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned! Feels like a total scam just trying to run up insurance and the receptionist had a wild attitude with me the entire time.

Dr Sahrai’s cosmetic work was absolutely flawless - she took the time to make sure everything looked perfect and natural. You can really tell this practice specializes in cosmetic dentistry, and the results speak for themselves. I’m genuinely thrilled with how my smile looks now! What I love most is how comfortable and relaxed the whole experience was. The office itself is absolutely beautiful and has such a relaxing atmosphere - it really helps put you at ease. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, treating you like family from the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find a dental office where you actually look forward to your appointments! I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re considering any cosmetic bonding or cosmetic work. The skill level here is exceptional, and you’ll be in such caring hands. For appointment reminders the receptionist admits that instead of reminding patients of the date and time of appointments, she calls to purposefully leave cryptic messages to make you call back to “find out” when your appointment is. The dentist is an arrogant, greedy operator. The space is claustrophobic, and they don’t even have their own restroom for patients. You have to get a key from the front desk (if the receptionist is ever there) to go, like a gas station. Don’t be fooled. This is an awful practice. Don’t waste your time or money. Disgusting.

Experiencia negativa: I had two routine appointments there. After the first one, my mouth hurt for weeks, but I wanted to give the place second chance. The same thing happened after my second appointment. The pain has lasted for more than a month and will be going to another dentist to try and resolve it.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had dental insurance for over 40 years and have never had to pay out of pocket for a routine cleaning—until now. This office scheduled my second cleaning too close together, which caused it to not be covered by insurance. I agreed to pay and gave them my card info, but due to an error on their end, the payment didn’t go through. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency and couldn’t follow up immediately. When I did get back in touch, they refused to release my night guard (which is covered by insurance) until the balance was paid in full. The office itself is extremely beautiful and clean, but some of the staff came across as unprofessional, rude, and lacking in basic empathy. I won't mention the specific name but she actually kept cutting me off and came off combative towards me which really made me upset when trying to explain my situation. I expected more understanding, especially given the circumstances. Disappointed by the lack of communication and customer care. All I can say is good luck!

I had many questions and was nervous but they were patient and understanding. The customer service is good and the Dr walks you through everything and is very nice. The hygienists are also very nice knowledgeable and professional. I feel lucky to be a patient here as not all practices are created equal. Thanks for your help and for listening.

Experiencia fantástica: I loathe going to the dentist, but I love Blossom Dentistry (as much as one can love going to the dentist). I needed an emergency extraction and bone graft; the wonderful dentist saw me quickly, and performed the procedure perfectly (consistently communicating about what they were doing, and ensuring I wasn’t feeling pain during the entirety of the 3-hour procedure). I’m sure they also do great work with less drastic things, like cleanings, fillings, etc., and they’ll be my go to for these as well. Everyone at Blossom Dentistry are professional, patient, and genuinely caring — super responsive too (special shoutout to Nicole)! I hope you never need to have a tooth extracted, but if you do, you should definitely go with Blossom Dentistry. If you go somewhere else, your teeth won’t be the only things in your head you need to get examined!)

Experiencia fantástica: Got fillings here after a bike accident chipped my front teeth. The dentist was efficient and caring and able to see me the same day I called. Back home in New Haven my regular dentist said the fillings looked excellent!

Experiencia negativa: Gave me a credit for an incorrect charge, then pretended it never existed. Tricked me into paying directly for something covered under my insurance, saying they'd "handle it" and my insurance would send the check to reimburse. Insurance never sent anything, as apparently it wasn't reported. My fault for being naive and paying up front and not invoicing it, but still scummy of Blossom to take advantage.

Experiencia negativa: I had an awful experience here. I will say I'm not sure how much of it was on the actual office and management vs. my insurance at the time. I got a breakdown of what I would have to pay for services I needed and also what it said my insurance would cover. Moved forward with several services, and then every few months or so would receive a large bill of several hundred dollars saying "insurance actually isn't covering it." I felt lied to the whole time and felt like they did nothing to help me understand why I suddenly owed hundreds and hundreds of dollars 6 months after my service. From what little I was told, a lot of it had to do with the fact that they did or didn't combine certain X-rays and procedures and services, which I feel like they should have looked into and considered more before giving me a "this is definitely what you'll pay" statement. I'll never go back.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Leo and immediately felt that the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Leo’s exceptional customer service skills truly stood out during my visit, as well as prior. I called the office to make my appointment as well as ask several questions about the procedure I wanted. He was very informative about the procedure and it explained it thoroughly. During the visit, Dr. Sahrai took the time to listen to all of my requests and questions and exceeded my expectations after the work was done. The entire staff exhibited a high level of professionalism and expertise, making my dental appointment amazing. The clean and modern facilities added to the overall positive impression as well. I highly commend Blossom Dentistry for their commitment to excellent patient care.

I felt very educated as a patient and in control of my treatment. The office is very convenient, comfortable, and clean. The staff is friendly and helps with the submission of forms to insurance for any treatments that aren’t covered by dental insurance.
