Experiencia fantástica: My wife, son and I have beef going to PA Dental Wellness for over three years. Dr Singh and her staff do a great job all round - the dental care side, administration and insurance management. I like the way Dr Singh advises on dealing with a dental problem. She carefully explain the issue and treatment and the cost and insurance coverage - there are no surprises. I was particularly impressed when coverage for a new crown was denied by insurance due to a previous claim on that tooth which was a mistake. My previous dentist had errored with an incorrect tooth# in the earlier claim. Dr Singh’s staff pushed back and straightened things out resulting in coverage reinstatement. The staff is very friendly too!

Thanks! Adding to review above to only confirm the good experience at this office, with the entire staff. Recently I had to work through an emergency that involved getting antibiotics for something I should have looked into with a specialist long time ago. I immediately got a call back even though it was a weekend evening and I was also referred to one of the best - in my experience - specialists. Thanks! Have also started an Invisalign treatment with them - they also do part orthodontics - and they are again great and knowledgeable. In my case it is a necessity at somewhat older age due to not being feasible in some locations to do implants. It is great to have a dentist that does also orthodontics. Including but not only for any treatment combination if needed/ same place, same doctor Adding more accolades to the all positive review: Dr . All the hygienists I've had have been super knowledgable, and Dr. Amrit Singh is kind and encouraging. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years and I wasn't shamed at all for the lack of dental care. I highly recommend this dentist office!

I take both of my toddlers there and it’s always a fun experience. They both love going to the dentist and the staff make it easier for them to finish their appointments. Experiencia negativa: Very poor experience. I had a filling done on my front tooth here, and it broke within just a few weeks. Because of the damage, I had to see another dentist and ended up needing a crown, which was an unexpected and costly outcome. This is extremely unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Experiencia positiva: Dr Singh and her back office staff and hygienist are great. However the front office makes me uncomfortable. It’s offensive when they say we have to collect before you even sit down. I have theee kids and myself and we use Dental Wellness (except my daughter who is back east in college). Never have I not paid. We have a great dental plan and FSAs that cover but it’s clear that it is all about how much money they can get out of you. I have never had an experience where a doctor or dentist asked for money up front and all of our doctors are at Stanford. I just had a root canal with a specialist and they simply told me how much was covered with my plan and what my out of pocket would be and accepted payment when my treatment was complete. Dr. Singh should know that I thought about changing dentist because of this but do value her as a dentist. I also had to pay for a filling that was put in 4 months ago and it popped out. It’s not that big of a deal but did make me question their commitment to the quality when a filling pops out from flossing. I’ve talked with other friends who agree with me.

Experiencia negativa: First visit recommend replacing fillings, first procedure was on one side of mouth. Who ever was operating the UV cure for filling was not paying attention and talking to other staff and had to reattempt the same tooth three times. Was very disappointed in this as I never had a dentist fail multiple times like she didn’t know what she was doing. Also talking “we never did it like this at my last job”. Well, I lost trust and never returned for other fillings. New dentist didn’t make recommendation to replace existing fillings, so this place is a bit too aggressive and lacked expected quality from my perspective.

Experiencia negativa: Good hygiene practices at this clinic need serious improvement. I brought my 5-year-old daughter here twice, and both times I noticed that the doctor and nurses did not disinfect their hands before putting on gloves. After putting the gloves on, they continued to touch non-sterile surfaces such as the computer, mouse, and other equipment—and then used the same gloves to handle supposedly sterile dental tools and to work inside my daughter’s mouth. This made me question: Are the gloves being worn to protect the patients, or just to protect the staff themselves? Because from what I observed, their procedures appear focused more on keeping their own hands clean rather than preventing cross-contamination or ensuring patient safety. This kind of practice is not acceptable, especially in a healthcare setting. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene protocols.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Singh and her staff never fail to treat me with courtesy, warmth, and professionalism. A while back, they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency same-day appointment when I was in acute pain. Dr. Singh was very knowledgeable and kind. In the past they have also provided me with excellent referrals when I needed to see a specialist. Most recently I had an extremely thorough yet suprisingly gentle teeth cleaning from a lovely hygienist. Their office treats children as well as adults, and they accept insurance (though you should ask them to verify beforehand). I highly recommend their services.

Experiencia negativa: We have been going here for years. The service has been consistent and good with minor problems over the years. Yesterday I brought my daughter for a cleaning. She said the hygienist was very rough. I was sitting there and he looked like he was inexperienced. It was our first time seeing him there. He also had something attached to his glasses and was looking through that and straight up instead of down into my daughter’s mouth. Looked like he needed help seeing. Just looked weird. She had some discomfort afterwards. They also are pushy about X-rays. I said yes to them doing it yesterday for my daughter but then felt like it was unnecessary. Update: Thanks for providing some info about the tool. I understand it was provided for the hygienist’s benefit ergonomically but the reason I wrote about it is because he didn’t look comfortable using it and asked my daughter so many times to move her head around. She was very uncomfortable during and after the visit and her gums behind the lower teeth were bleeding.

Experiencia fantástica: I had not been to a dentist since before Covid due to varying circumstances. I was very apprehensive. The team greeting me was great. Dr. Singh was so empathetic and truly listened to my apprehensions and the goal to make sure my mouth is healthy. The next appointment I had was with Lorna, one of the dental hygienists. She is smart, kind, and lets you know what is going on as she is cleaning. Dr. Singh and her staff have been exactly what I needed to get back in the swing of my regular dental check ups. Dr. Singh needed to replace some previous dental work. She is gentle, as are the staff that works with her. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Run away as fast as you can. They have hidden charges and money making business with zero customer service. They advised to get braces for my daughter. Sent me to their referral doctor who charged for the visit and then advised to do braces worth $5000. Either doctor could not explain why the braces are needed since my daughter had good teeth and jaw line. Went for a second opinion to a new doctor who advised all is well and this was just done to make more money. There was NO need for braces but their referral doctor continued to bother us for months to get these done. Then they ran extra xray for my husband rather than requesting existing xray done the same year from previous doctor and charged me for it since insurance only pays for xray once a year. They didn’t disclose the need to run these and that it will not be covered by insurance. When I spoke to them they mentioned they will waive it in 2024 but kept on sending me notices again in 2025 and asking for payment once again. They have bad practices and bad support. I am moving out of this practise. Have requested all my medical records but have not received yet.

Of interest to those who dread the pain or at least the discomfort associated with plaque and gum recession will be delighted to know that the process at 'Dental Wellness is largely pain-free. largely because of the use of ultrasonic technology supplemented by hand scraping only when essential. The dentist is very knowledgeable, exceptionally skilled, caring and has a working relationship with the local dental specialists. The office staff is skilled and caring, and very adept at navigating the insurance landscape. With their numerous but friendly reminders there is no way you can miss an appointment.

After a bad experience at a dentist after I moved to Palo Alto from SoCal (therefore leaving my trusted dentist at Torrance), I selected Dr Sing based on reviews. I like everything from working with Megan at the front office and cleaning with the Doctor and DH. Very positive impression and I hope to stay with the same office as long as live in the bay area.

If you are anxious about visiting a dentist like I am then you need to visit this place. They are always professional, so caring, so gentle and always get the work done! Experiencia negativa: Be careful coming here they charge you more then they should I received a bill called my insurance to see what it was about long story short they put in more codes then they should have and when I reached out to notify them it disappeared and told me no charge. Then they charge you 150$ late fee or reschedule fee. Don't trust this place at all!

I’m so glad I found this dental practice as I wouldn’t want to go to any other dentist now that I’ve gone to Dr. Singh. When I first went to Dr. Singh in 2020, it had probably been 5 years since I last saw a dentist, and now I look forward to going to the dentist. She and her entire staff are kind, compassionate, and not judgemental (coming from a serial non-flosser!). When I had to get a deep cleaning for the first time, I was nervous about getting numbing shots in my mouth. One of the dental hygienists held my hand the entire time and made sure I was okay. Dr. Singh and her staff remember personal details about me and my family and her entire office makes going to the dentist an actual pleasure!

Dr. Singh is kind, caring, and in the almost 3 years I've been seeing her, has not once recommended "frivolous"/not needed procedures or other things, like many other dentist I've seen.
