Experiencia fantástica: This is my second review for this office. I can't stress enough how great Potomac Family Dental is. They restored my smile, scheduling is easy and quick, the whole office is so attentive and welcoming! I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, but Doctor Uthman and his team removed all of my fear. I now go to every appointment feeling confident. You can tell that Doctor Uthman treats his staff like family and with the utmost respect and he does the same for his patients. My only regret is that I didn't find this office years ago, but hey, better late than never :). I have a daughter with special needs and the dentist she has now is great. However, if this office is taking new patients, I am definitely making Dr. Uthman her new forever dentist. I highly recommend Potomac Family Dental. Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: caring convenient always friendly and accom

Experiencia fantástica: Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is the best dental office I have ever been to (and I’ve been to MANY throughout my life). As a person who has suffered from extensive severe dental trauma in the past, I initially walked into this office filled with anxiety. However, the bedside manner is outstanding and Dr. Uthman put all of my worries at ease. He’s been practicing dentistry longer than I’ve been alive and knows what he’s doing. I’m so happy to have finally found an office I really trust. All of the staff are very caring. I got a dental implant here and Dr. Uthman made it painless, minimally invasive, and carefully explained everything to me. He really took the time to address all of my concerns and made sure I was comfortable. I won’t go anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: I have severe dental anxiety, so when we moved away from my last dentist it took me far too long to find a new dentist. When I could no longer procrastinate due to what I thought was a cracked molar, a neighbor suggested Potomac Family Dental. I’m incredibly thankful I took her suggestion and made the appointment because Dr. Uthman and his staff are incredible! He understood my anxiety, and when I was told it was my wisdom tooth that needed removal I was in full on panic mode. All I could think of is the bone crunching stories I have heard from others who have had their wisdoms removed, so I was skeptical of Dr. Uthman’s assurances that I wouldn’t feel anything. Sure enough, true to his word all I felt were the slight pinches from the Novocain shot. I was so surprised I blurted, “You are GREAT!”. Dr. Uthman is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to, including his staff. It is quite apparent that they all love their jobs, and are very good at what they do. Thanks Potomac Family Dental!!

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional and kind. Worked through problems with my insurance to help me get the work done that I needed as soon as possible. All staff and the doc were respectful and courteous and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. Would recommend this place for sure!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Uthman and his staff are incredible. My sister referred me here after my permanent retainer suddenly lifted and needed fixing, and I’m so glad she did. They were able to see me right away and took care of the issue quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated. The front staff is very kind, welcoming, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Experiencia fantástica: The staff here were extremely kind and helpful, especially with how I showed up late twice lol. Doctor Uthman was amazing, took care of me and always had an uplifting mood! Biggest take away is the numbing injection, every doctor I’ve been to I’ve felt it slightly or to a point were it was uncomfortable, but not here! I felt nothing. At all!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This man is a miracle doctor!!! He saved my smile!!!! Takes great care of his patients, explained in details all of what’s to come and after. He enjoys making magic happen!!

Experiencia fantástica: Always a great experience at the practice! Even though I always come in nervous (due to childhood trauma), I always always come out with such an amazing time. Experiencia fantástica: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely amazing experience at Potomac Family Dental. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm smile by Gladis at the front desk, who made me feel comfortable right away. The office is spotless, beautifully organized, and even smells fresh and clean — you can tell they take pride in the environment and patient care. I had a deep cleaning with Carren, and she was incredibly gentle, patient, and thorough. She explained everything step by step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort at all. After that, Dr. Uthman examined my oral health, and he was honestly one of the kindest and most professional dentists I’ve ever met. He took his time, answered all my questions, and genuinely cared about my health—not just rushing through the appointment like many dentists do. From start to finish, I felt treated with kindness, respect, and real care. This is by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had, and I can confidently say they deliver 7-star service. Just got my wisdom tooth extracted 2 days ago and I came to the office very anxious and scared about how the extraction procedure was going to go, Dr. Ahmed and his assistant made sure I was okay before we even started, the procedure took less than 10 minutes and I have no pain at all :). He’s such a cool doctor ☺️

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ahmed is great and always provides that highest quality of care. The dental hygienist ( I think her name is Jess) is also great and was very knowledgeable. Great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional and super friendly staff. For as long as I remember I have been visiting the dentist for my teeth problems. I have been to the dentist in 3 countries but this clinic offers the best services. Also, they have the best ANESTHESIA! Once numbed up, you won’t feel a thing.

Expeditious and professional care provided by the entire team. BEST dental exams I could ask to experience. Team was kind, gentle handed, and cost conscious. Transparency throughout the procedure and post care. If you are on the fence of practices or providers, look no further than Potomac Family Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fantastic experience at Potomac Family Dental. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Experiencia fantástica: The doctor /nurses and front desk employees are so caring .They really care about making the patient feel very comfortable. I had some crowns and root canals done and the doctor made me feel so comfortable , he kept asking if i was doing alright and made sure i felt ok. The nurses where also very caring and both provided all the info I needed. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone i give this a 10/10 .

Experiencia negativa: Front desk staff needs a crash course in customer service. Very unprofessional. I came in for scheduled appointment and approached the counter. A guy comes in a minute or so after me and stands behind me. The lady who came to the front desk ask the guy behind me could she help him. The guy looked at me and says “He was here before me.” The lady then asks me could she help me. The other lady working front desk never asked for my insurance card and once I told her that I did have insurance she stated that they don’t assume that a person has insurance and it was my job to let her know that I had insurance. I updated my paperwork due to it being 2 years since coming to this office and there was no question about insurance. Terrible experience and will never cone to office again.

Experiencia fantástica: Potomac Family Dental is the best dentist facility. The dentist and his staff are excellent, respectful, kind and efficient. I am so glad to have been blessed to meet him.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and accommodating. Dentist and hygienists we're very gentle and kind. Helped to resolve my anxiety and fears. No pain and discomfort at all. Will be going back again.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about my experience at Potomac Family Dental. To start, I was in severe pain—worse than labor! The kind of pain that makes you question if you'd rather just disappear. I needed an emergency extraction, and I called as soon as they opened at 8am on a Friday (which is probably one of the hardest times to get a last-minute appointment). I had never been to Potomac Family Dental before, but I explained how much pain I was in, and these amazing people moved mountains to see me immediately. I wasn’t exactly my usual happy-go-lucky self—I mean, who can be when it feels like your tooth is plotting revenge—but the entire team was so sympathetic. They never once let my snappy responses get to them, and I really appreciate how patient they were with me. Then, in came Dr. Uthman—my hero. He numbed the pain (thank goodness!), and suddenly I went from raging Hulk to calm Bruce Banner. He explained everything clearly, walked me through the process, and took away every ounce of fear I had. The entire staff was genuinely friendly, and let me just say, the office is gorgeous. It doesn’t feel like a typical sterile dentist office—it feels warm and welcoming. They've definitely earned a forever client in me. My children currently go to BriteStars, but not anymore—Potomac Family Dental will be our new home, because they treat you like family from the moment you walk in. If you're looking for a dentist, trust me—you will not be disappointed. They will take care of you like they took care of me, and for that, I’m forever grateful. Thank you, Potomac Family Dental, from the bottom of my heart!

Experiencia fantástica: My visit here is always great! Courteous staff, knowledgeable and very professional. You can tell they enjoy what they do. My husband and I enjoy it here

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic Dentist and staff. So kind and professional. I consider it a blessing that I decided to try them. I rarely post reviews, but wanted to make a point with this one!

Experiencia fantástica: I am currently in my second trimester and was suffering from extreme tooth pain. I called and was able to get a new patient appointment two days later, and a same day procedure. I have suffered with a phobia of dentist since I was a child. Today completely changed my perspective on dentist! This dentist was compassionate, walked me through the process, and his hands are magic! I didn't feel any pain, minimal discomfort and he checked on me the whole appointment. 15 years of clinical experience the most amazing professional staff and truly gifted doctor I've ever met. Thank you all and I will be doing my routine dental care here moving forward.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience at Potomac Family Dental! Dr. Uthman is very thorough and informative. He is honest and will show you pictures of problem areas and discuss options. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Despite the bad comments about the front staff (by far they’ve been awesome with me, if you treat people with kindness you’ll get the same back to you), I believe Potomac family dental is the best. They’ve taken the time to know my background to better diagnose my dental issues and provide me with a thoughtful solution. I’ve always been taken care by Karen, she’s takes pride of her work as she takes care of every single patient and makes it an experience out of this world with her charm and conversations. The doctor taking care of me is as well a phenomenal gentleman, he made personal suggestions on how to take care of my dental health and was not pushy at all. You have won a rave fan!! Sincerely, Luis.
