Experiencia negativa: After being a patient of this practice for more than 10 years, I’ve finally decided it’s time to find a new dentist. For the past six years, I have continued driving approximately 45 minutes each way because I valued the care I had received here. Unfortunately, their growth seems to have far outpaced their ability to adequately accommodate their existing patients. Last fall, I had to reschedule a routine cleaning because I was the primary caregiver for my mother, who was battling cancer. I completely understood that rescheduling was my responsibility—but the next available cleaning appointment they could offer me was SIX MONTHS later. When life circumstances surrounding my mother’s cancer forced me to reschedule again, I was once again told the next available appointment was another six months away. That means a routine dental cleaning was pushed out an entire year—not because I was unwilling to schedule one, but because this practice apparently does not have enough availability to accommodate an established patient of more than a decade when life happens. What makes this especially frustrating is that the practice continues to grow and accept patients despite existing patients having to wait six months for a cleaning appointment. If you’re considering becoming a patient here, I would seriously reconsider. Unless you can book your cleanings six months in advance and guarantee that absolutely nothing will interfere with that appointment, you may find yourself waiting another six months if you need to reschedule. After more than 10 years as a patient—and six years of making a 90-minute round trip to remain one—I expected considerably better access and consideration for established patients. Unfortunately, loyalty does not seem to mean much when the practice has grown beyond its ability to accommodate the patients it already has.

They did not even measure the pockets and I have periodontal disease. I now go to Lifetime Dental Care and have been for approximately six years. I am very pleased with both my Dentist, Dr Toyer and my Dental Hygienist, Mlahat. They really cares about my dental health and I always feel valued as a person by them and the front office. Dr Toyer is caring and explains everything so well. He puts my mind at ease. He is a very skilled dentist. The front office staff are professional and sweet at the same time. I’m so glad I found this office.

It’s been a long time since then and my teeth it hurts. Worst place to go to.

Experiencia positiva: My family and I have been patients with Lifetime Dental for more than 14 years, and overall we have enjoyed our experience with the practice. The staff has always been friendly and professional, and the quality of care has been good. However, as the practice has expanded, it has become increasingly difficult to schedule appointments in a timely manner. Additionally, during my recent visits, I have consistently had to wait at least 20 minutes after my cleaning for the dentist to come in and complete the final exam before I can leave. While I understand that busy schedules can sometimes cause delays, this has become a recurring issue and can be frustrating when trying to plan around appointments. We value the care we've received over the years and hope the practice can address these scheduling and wait-time concerns as it continues to grow.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been visiting Life Time Dental for a couple of years now, and they are absolutely the best—especially when it comes to caring for our children. Although there are many dental offices in Fredericksburg, my wife and I continue to choose Life Time Dental because of their outstanding service. I would also like to highlight one of their front desk associates, Jahaira, who has been incredibly attentive both on the phone and during our visits to the office. Taking that extra step truly goes a long way when you are in the people business. Once again, thank you to the entire Life Time Dental team.

The doctors are great and assure that any procedures are as pain free as possible. The adult side has a peaceful spa atmosphere. The children’s side is playful with toys in the kid’s waiting room and colorful characters on the walls and cartoons on the tv’s above the chairs for a great distraction. I would highly recommend this practice for all ages. Update: I had another appointment with Dr. Toyer this week. As always, the office is run efficiently and the staff is welcoming. I needed a filling this time. There was absolutely no pain, not even the needle going in. It was as pleasant as a dental visit can possibly be.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been coming to this office for about 10 years, but after this experience, I will not be returning. In January, I scheduled an appointment for a cavity and was given an appointment card by the front desk that clearly said April 4 at 12:20 PM. We planned around that and drove all the way from Stafford to Woodbridge for a Saturday appointment. While we were almost there, we got a call saying the appointment had been canceled because it was supposedly scheduled for 12:00 PM. This was the first time we were hearing anything about a different time there was no reminder call or message beforehand, which most offices usually provide. We went inside and showed them the appointment card THEY gave us. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the front desk girl was rude and dismissive, saying “I don’t care if you have the card” and refusing to take any responsibility. She even argued that it “wasn’t her handwriting,” as if that excuses the office from their own error. What was most frustrating is that we would have completely understood and rescheduled if they had simply apologized or handled the situation professionally. Instead, we were met with attitude and a complete lack of accountability after driving a significant distance. They eventually did take me in, and the doctor was professional, but the overall experience with the front desk and staff was unacceptable and made the whole experience uncomfortable.Very disappointing after being a long-time patient.

Experiencia fantástica: We brought my son, who's 2 years old, in to have a growth looked at near his first molar that is growing and for his 1st cleaning yesterday. Major kudos to the dental hygienist that did my son's 1st cleaning. she was so kind and considerate. Re-assuring and comforting my son the whole time and being super patient with his squirming and screaming. That boy does not like ANYONE putting ANYTHING in his mouth, not even his mother and I. But, the hygienist, working at a pediatric dental practice of course, was quite experienced with how to handle the issue and did so like a champ! We are 100% satisfied and thankful for the care she showed our son.

I thought this would be my dental home, but unfortunately, the aggressive treatment completed on my 17 year old wasn’t a good experience, she now has SEVERE SENSITIVITY. Now my daughter may need a RCT because the associate dentist drilled too deep. I trusted these people with my family.

She took the time to explain every instrument she used while cleaning his teeth, which really helped ease his nerves. She truly went above and beyond. The front desk receptionist was also incredibly helpful, she called to verify my insurance and helped schedule everything smoothly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism from the entire team.

Experiencia negativa: I visited this dental office today expecting care, but I was denied treatment solely because of my co-pay $115. The only option offered was delaying my care and rescheduling. I felt disregarded. Patients deserve to be treated with compassion, regardless of payment method. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, and I won’t be bringing my children here either. In the end, this approach loses patients, trust, and business. Sidenote: The treatment plan was different every time I went in there so please make sure that they’re billing correctly. If you do decide to go here!! Shoutout to owners who made this decision. Payment over treatment still reigns supreme in this country. Shoutout to the compassionate doctors who work for care and not money!

Even when I was anxious, upset and disappointed about the wait times, every staff member I interacted with remained patient, and respectful. The office manager, staff, and doctor took the time to explain the situation, answer my questions, and treat my child with genuine care. Waiting with a fasting child is difficult, but their calm demeanor and focus on safety helped my child get through the experience smoothly. April is great! Experiencia negativa: I had a very unpleasant experience with the two ladies working at the front desk. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and acted as if they did not want to help me. When I asked for their names, they refused to give them. Their attitude made me feel like I was bothering them just by asking for assistance. The dental hygienist and the dentist were both very nice, and I truly appreciated their professionalism. Unfortunately, the behavior of the front desk staff completely overshadowed the positive care I received in the back. I arrived for my appointment a little after 2:45 PM and did not leave until after 5 PM. No appointment—first-time patient or not—should take that long, especially when the front desk is not communicating or providing proper support. My experience deserves more than just this review to reflect how poorly I was treated by these two individuals.

From scheduling the appointment to checking in at the front desk, the staff was kind, professional, and welcoming. Jahaira was very helpful in getting all our documents together. My daughter has dental anxiety and, being a military child, she's had to move around a lot and adjust to new providers frequently. This was by far one of the smoothest, most comforting experiences she's had. The dental team was patient, gentle, and made her feel safe and heard every step of the way. Ms. Channel and Dr. Hark were amazing. They catered to my daughter's emotional needs and we left that place knowing we have found our home for dental care. I'm so grateful we found this place--definitely a new favorite for us!
