Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a patient for 15 years, and today was the final straw. I was a few minutes late due to traffic, but still had 15 minutes left. The receptionist, with a genuinely happy tone, was glad to see me leave when I told her I was going elsewhere. My most recent hygienist has always been dismissive. After Dr. Rosen retired and sold the practice to a corporation, it has completely changed. They don’t care about patients—just their own rules. I will not return, and I strongly suggest others go elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: I had some dental work/ procedures done at this dental clinic, particularly 4 porcelain crowns. Unfortunately. I had a very negative experience because of the poor dental work performed by Dr. Manoukian. He was very unprofessional and performed a very poor job even though I was charged full amount for his unqualified dental work. I had to pay off my CARE credit account to avoid high interest rate, making monthly payments out of my paychecks. To my knowledge and understanding, Dr. Manoukian is no longer employed at this dental clinic, as I called to ask the receptionist a few months ago.

I just had X Rays taken by Marilou , so sweet & accurate X-rays . Dr Ruben is who I see there as my Dentist . He’s also patient , caring , explains what he sees in my X-rays ( I need a Crown ). While in my mouth prepping for the Crown he explains what he is doing , haven’t had any Pain while prepping just a little discomfort . The schedule is not readily available to HMO patients, which often leads to confusion and difficulty in making appointments. Concerns About Staff and Professionalism: There seems to be a lack of clear communication and professionalism in the administrative processes, particularly in the Varina office. Staff training appears to be insufficient, with many decisions being driven by financial motivations rather than the needs of the patients. This has created an environment where patients sometimes feel their concerns are secondary to administrative priorities. Unclear Communication About Patient Credits: It has also been observed that when patients have credits from previous treatments, this information is not proactively communicated by the office. Patients often only become aware of their credits after asking, which could be handled more transparently. Front Desk Experience: There seems to be a significant amount of negativity and drama at the front desk, which could be affecting patient experiences. A more organized and professional atmosphere would help create a better first impression for those visiting the office. Concerns Regarding Certain Doctors' Performance: There have been multiplecomplaints from patients regarding some of the doctors, specifically Dr.SIt may be time to consider whether a review of their practices and patient satisfaction is necessary.i do not recommend this office as a patient or working the

Experiencia negativa: Great dentists, but the structure on how this office operates is horrible. One cannot get an exam and cleaning in the same appointment so one must plan on visiting the office two or three times to do what every other office does in one. If you don't mind having to spend hours and hours traveling back and forth to go sit in the office for a couple hours a pop, this place is just fine. If you have a job and a life, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Since moving to the Valley in 2006 we have been coming here and I have to say that overall the practice is great. My husband, two sons and I have had all our work done here for teeth cleaning, braces and lastly two root canals with crowns. The staff is both professional and friendly and Lisa the office manager has always been easy to work with. We have also had great success with Dr. Tabibnia (who is amazing and has helped my two boys work through thumb sucking issues all the way to braces) However, I can't excuse Dr. Ruben's behavior as a dentist. I don't know if it is that he didn't like that I questioned his opinion on the pain in my teeth or that I wanted another person's opinion in the office but from that point forward, I didn't feel like I was seen as a patient but rather someone that frustrated him. My various interactions with him over the course of the last year and a half have colored my experience so much that I quit going to them even though my husband and sons still go there. The reason? I noticed pain in a molar when I would bite down in April of 2023 (old filling that needed a replacement which they did as a crown in May). However, It didn't get better and when I went back with complaints of pain over the next six months, I was lead to believe by him that this was really more 'in my head' and that the x-rays looked fine. After the 2nd time came back with pain concerns, he recommended a root canal in two back molars rather than just the crown as now they were apparently problematic but that things had evolved from the original crown since he saw no infection that warranted a root canal originally. For the record, I also had a good experience with the Endodontist for the root canals but it didn't end there. The pain didn't cease so after more than a month after my root canal I went back to have him assess why I was still having pain. I had a root canal once in the past and that was straight forward and the pain went away within several days. He did x-rays again and told me that everything looked just fine and made me feel like I was being overly sensitive or I had stressed my tendons around those two teeth from the procedure.. I have NEVER cried in a dentist's office (as an adult at least) but did so that day when he lost his bedside manner with me. I'm not sure if he needed to see me actually cry before he ordered a CT scan but I had asked at a prior visit and he hadn't done one. I waited for several days for the endodontist to review which revealed that I have a nerve in my jaw much closer to the molar root area than is customary. The endodontist saw it immediately and informed me why I was continuing to have ongoing pain and that it might take months for the nerve to calm down after the procedure. Straw that broke the camel's back? I had the lingering pain for months (as I was told might happen) but one Sunday I woke up with acute pain there which turned out to be a dental abscess in that same tooth. I reached out as I wasn't sure what to do. Dr. Ruben called me back and had the audacity to tell me after what was now more than 13 months of pain that I really should have notified him sooner that I was continuing to have pain and that I could come in on Monday morning for him to assess next steps. I heard no empathy in this man's voice but rather frustration with me as his patient. I get it that it was a weekend and that he probably gets a lot of calls but this was my first and now my last. No thanks Dr. Ruben, I've taken my business elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Worst dental office I have ever been to!! Dr. Rosen is extremely rude, the office staff are decent, however I was made to wait a whole HOUR before even being seen. The office was not at all busy, there were 0 people in the waiting room when I walked in, and only two walked in after me (and were seen before me). Granted, I was about 15 minutes late, so I gave them some leeway, understanding, I may have now been in the way of other appointments. However, after an entire hour had passed, I get up to ask the dental assistant when the Dr would be seeing me - as I did see him, several times, walking back and fourth leisurely, chatting with those two other patients about their recent vacations, etc. On top of this poor service, the dentist, again walked by me, not busy at all, without any form of acknowledgment, i.e. "Be right with you", "Sorry for the wait", etc. After sharing my poor experience with several family members who were also patients years ago, they all confirmed this same behavior, and believe he is racist, and therefore, no longer go to this office for the same reason. Avoid at all cost, you do not want anyone performing any type of surgery on you, who cannot simply exhibit basic decency and customer service.

I felt like saying something but refrained because my delivery would have not been appropriate. I left and will not go back. I’ve been going there for 9 years. Sad.

He explained everything he would be doing, talked me through the shots of novocain as he administered them (I barely felt a thing), and made me feel totally at ease throughout the procedure. His dental assistant, Gohar was also vey caring, sweet and professional. They constantly asked if I was feeling OK, administered just the right amount of numbing so I didn’t feel a thing and took great care to make sure that my bite was correct with my new crown. I highly recommend this dental office and feel confident that I am getting the best possible care!

Experiencia negativa: While I dont an issue with the dentist, the billing person Wendy is inefficient with her job. It take her weeks to respond to emails. I kindly asked her that we prefer not to proceed with any services that my insurance does not cover. I just want my daughter to get her braces. But that task seems impossible, I been going back and forth since May. We finally decided on another office.

I was apprehensive about going because my previous dentist didn't treat medical clients the same as paying clients (in my opinion). I was referred to this Dentist by my root canal specialist and I can't thank him enough. From the office staff to the dentist assistant and the dentist I've never felt so relaxed and cared for in my life. Dr Ruben could tell I was nervous and he put me to ease talked me through it step by step, made me feel important. His assistant Mrs. Gohan was very gentle an aware and made me laugh and smile. Experiencia negativa: WOW, if I could rate them a 0 I would. I have insurance and this is the dental company that was assigned to me, on Google they have a high rating so I didn't even think about looking on other platforms...big mistake on my part! I tried booking an appointment in July for a cleaning and they told me that they were not taking new clients for cleanings until Aug 1st., I called the first week of August and was told the same thing but that I had to book my appointment for Sept. I called and booked my appointment for September and they told me that I would have to come in first and get x-rays, then I could book my cleaning because I would be a customer of the practice. I got to my appointment 5-10 minutes early to be given 8 pages to sign of which there is Health History, Medical History, Consent Office Policy, Arbitration Agreement, Costs on Removal of Silver-Mercury Fillings (claiming insurance does not pay because they consider it to be cosmetic, my insurance does not look at it as cosmetic), Smile and Health Evaluation, Maintenance of Dental Implants (I don't even have implants), Payment Options and an outline for Dental Plan (HMO or PPO). At 53 years old, I've never had to fill out so much paperwork for cleaning or x-rays so while I was waiting I read other reviews as something felt wrong. Sure enough, everything I was experiencing is the same as others...shame on me for not looking here first! I then asked the girl in the front when I would be seen for my cleaning as I read about reviews are saying that the Dr. charges a cleaning fee to the insurance but doesn't do the cleaning. She babbled and said someone else would need to help me with that as she didn't know how the billing went. When I asked to book my cleaning now that I was going to have an x-ray she said we are no longer doing cleanings because of staffing (mind you they had plenty of people in the office, more than other offices had but no cleanings...WHAT...why would I come here if I'm not getting cleanings Suddenly she remembered that I won't get charged for the visit at all as there was no cleaning. Honestly, I left and I'm so sorry for all the others who were seen and had issues that they encountered...shame on them for their practice policies.

Experiencia negativa: Even less than one star ! I have a broken tooth. Dr told me we gonna try to do crown to save my teeth but he told me we don’t guarantee %100 . He wants me to pay $200 of the amount before the appointment for the crown ! What is that mean ?! They already know that they can not fix it with crown that’s why they wanna charge me before the appointment! they asked me to pay before to sit there and fix my teeth ! It’s means they already know that they can not save my teeth ! I changed my mind and I asked them to do extract . They told me they are going to refer me and I have to wait for a call . They called me again after two weeks and ask me if I wanna do crow or not again ! They just waisted my time to changed my mind to do crown over there ! I’m so done with them !

Experiencia negativa: They took an appointment for next day with Rosen and after 3 hours of taking appointment, they are calling back and saying Rosen will not be available and he can see you again next week., Ruben (don't know who) can see you now. So unprofessional, they should not be taking appointments if they are not sure of Rosen's schedule

Experiencia negativa: I was assigned this dentist through my HMO insurance. I ended up seeing Dr. Ruben, who was very kind. The other staff were very helpful and courteous. The doctor reported my teeth looked fine, just in need of a cleaning. I pointedly asked him about my gums and he reported they looked fine. I received a call to schedule my cleaning and was informed they are ONLY doing deep cleanings, which of course requires a significant copay. When I asked why, they said it was because they couldn’t do the polishing with a regular cleaning due to COVID-19. It wasn’t made clear why that is the case. Seemed to me like they are trying to price gouge folks during an already tough financial time for many. And the woman on the phone said the doctor recommended I get a deep cleaning, when in fact he did not during my exam. I called around to a few other dentist offices, and my insurance company, and no one said this was their policy or common practice. To me, this confirms that this office is indeed trying to get more money from its patients. My insurance asked if I would like to file a complaint and I did. This office has terrible reviews on Yelp. I should have listened and switched offices first, before going to see them.

I really disliked going to the dentist, but this office makes you so comfortable that it's not an effort now. The staff are great too.. Completely recommend this office.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Dr Ruben (along with Gohar) for years. He’s a consummate professional, friendly, kind and I 100% trust him. Despite a busy schedule, he always does his best to accommodate me when I have a dental “emergency”. I travel all the way from West Hollywood to see Dr Ruben. The trust element is important. Previously, I had an experience with a fancy Beverly Hills doctor (recommended by a friend). During a check-up, she told me that I had multiple cavities and that I would need to replace crowns etc and it would be $$$$$$ (strange, I had no discomfort etc). A friend recommended me to Dr Ruben for a second opinion and he happily told me he found no cavities (and did both types of x-rays just to put to rest any doubts).
