Dr. Bowcutt was extremely thorough, caring, and took the time to communicate everything clearly throughout my visits. He made sure I was comfortable and informed during each procedure, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and work I received. The entire staff was just as wonderful! Friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. They made every visit a positive experience from beginning to end. It’s not always easy to find a dental office where you feel like you’re truly being taken care of, but that’s exactly how I felt here. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bowcutt and his team to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about his patients!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been scared of going to the dentist for many years and ended up needing two root canals, so I was extremely nervous my very first visit, everyone there made me feel comfortable and treated me with kindness and respect. A special thank you to Lex, my dental assistant. She was kind, patient, reassuring, and just a genuinely nice person. The front desk ladies are always friendly also, I can't remember my dentist's name but I can tell you he definitely knows what he's doing and really loves his profession. He explained everything in a way I could understand and answered all of my questions. He is a really good person also... I was actually surprised by how little pain there was. Once I was numb, I didn't feel anything . The one time I felt a little discomfort, they stopped immediately and took care of it before continuing. They were constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. I've been there twice so far and still have a few more appointments to go for the other teeth, but my experience has been excellent so far. If you're someone who's been putting off dental work because you're nervous or scared like I was, I highly recommend Stonehaven Dental & Orthodontics. They are professional, knowledgeable, caring, and they truly want their patients to have a good experience.

I have visited the Harker Heights location before, but this was my first time going to the Killeen office. It is a beautifully designed dental office with great energy. Highly recommend this location!

The staff and Doctors at Stonehaven are very friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgable about dental health. Like most people, I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but I was very impressed with the care I received from the team here. The Doctor was fabulous and projects a genuine care and concern about his patients. He listened to my questions and concerns and provided clear, detailed and understandable information about my dental health and upcoming procedures. My Dental Hygienist Josie did an outstanding job with my cleaning. She was gentle and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Overall, they are a top notch clinic and I am very pleased with the care I recevied so far. I trust the Stonehaven Dentist, Hygienist and staff with my oral health care.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a dental cleaning due to seeing great reviews but my experience was not great. I got X-rays done around 11am and waited 30+ minutes after being told several times that someone would be with me. I went to the front desk and asked will I be seen soon due to other errands I needed to make. I explained that I have not even got my cleaning started. The lady stated that I will not be getting a cleaning today and that it will be a separate appointment. I left upset because this has never happened to me at ANY dentist office. I have wasted time and will not be returning.

Zachary Pickup, DMD (the dentist) was very informative, and answered my questions. He is very professional and has a good bedside manner. His assistants, Brittany & Josey were efficient and very sweet. I have a plan of what needs to be done and my cost beyond my insurance. I'll get back when I go through any of the procedures I need. Cleaning, root canal, crowns to name a few.

I was not pressured to get work done that wasn’t necessary as I did with my prior dentist! I have plans to return next year because I feel comfortable there and I trust them.

Experiencia negativa: Had initial visit but due to insuramce issues they just said that there were no issues with my sons teeth and that he would need a cleaning once insurance issue was fixed. Contacted them back several months later when everything on our end was finally cleared up. (Son is mentally disabled and we were having to secure lifetime coverage for him so insurance would not age him out) We had to wait two months for the earliest appointment. At appountment he received cleaning. Tech cleaning his teeth asked me if I wanted flouride for him. I asked how much that would be because I knew insurance would not cover that. She said 20. As he is entitled to 2 free cleanings a year, I assumed our payment would be $20 something. However upon paying, I was told it was $200+. Apparently, he needed extensive cleaning under the gums and she administered an antibiotic. No one gave me a written estimate or discussed with me the plan. When I said something, I was first told they would "try" to rerun the extensive cleaning but it wasnt a forgone conclusion that I would not have to pay that later. But I had to pay the $158+ that day. She then tried to offer me a group that could help my son due to his limited income and disability but then said nevermind, it was probably too complicated a process for me. Like I was stupid or something. I have anxiety attacks so wished to just avoid everything although I felt like they were trying to cheat me ans look down on me. I paid and left. However, I was very angry and will mot be going back. I was not expecting to pay that much l. Luckily I did just get paid, but had to move some bills around so that unexpected bill could be covered. Never have I beem anywhere where they just did a procedure without discussing a plan with you. We only left our other dentist due to time issues and Stonehaven was recommended to us. Will not be going back.

I was extremely anxious about it, but the whole team already knew about my anxiety and genuinely took it into account. They explained everything clearly, checked on me throughout the visit, and never rushed me or made me feel awkward for being nervous. For something I was dreading, the experience ended up being surprisingly easy and actually reassuring. The staff is welcoming without being fake, and they don’t try to push unnecessary treatments—they just take care of you. I’m scheduled for my next appointment, and for the first time in my life I’m not stressed about going back. If you’re looking for a dental office that’s kind, attentive, and actually listens, Stonehaven is it. Highly recommend.

The dentist took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. I was even given advice and a referral for my husband's unique dental issues. Experiencia positiva: Experience with the young lady that did my cleaning was good...Would have been great if the last person I had saw didn't leave the paste or glue(not sure what it's called) from when I got my crowns put in and fillings done. It was a painful event cause they had to removed the paste that had given me problems since June and I couldn't figure out why my upper left and right sides of my mouth was always hurting me. However, once she got the paste out my mouth had felt great every since. I wish it was taken care of back in June when the work was done the 1st time. Other then that would come back for more cleanings.

Make feel kind desperate. But that was the only issue

The CSR worked to get my insurance verified so I could get that appointment slot. When I got there, I was treated like a priority. I felt like they felt like it was an emergency. I wish I had gotten another plant , but I'm no longer a new customer.

I’ve always been on edge, anxious, panicking, never left room for me to leave a positive review, regardless of how great the place was. I feel the need to leave a great review for stonehaven because I feel as though they go above and beyond. I was experiencing quite a lot of dental pain when I first went to them, not only did they help with the pain but they helped tremendously with the nerves associated with dentists offices. Today I had my second appointment with them where I was treated with the same amount of kindness and tenderness as the first visit. They are constantly checking in on my comfort, making sure I’m not anxious or experiencing any pain. They explain the entire process through and through, then the entire cost of said process. The entire staff is just wonderful. I highly recommend Stonehaven to anyone!

Experiencia positiva: I just wanted a cleaning, but end up with all of these x-rays. Then to tell me oh you need deep cleaning. Well I would have to pay out of my pocket for that. I have had a deep cleaning not long ago. So I just should of gotten an option to just get a cleaning. Its always about more money. The staff was very nice and professional though. I will be getting a regular cleaning some where else.
