Experiencia fantástica: I have not had a bad experience at this office. The staff have a great sense of humor and very friendly. Erica normally keeps me laughing at my appointments, on this visit I had Jesenika as the hygienist. Jesenikia is a character, she kept me laughing for the appointment. Jesenika is amazing; she is friendly, professional and a really good dental hygienist. I look forward to my appointments, she is like an old friend. If you are looking for a good dental hygienist, you will not find one better than Jesenika. On a scale of 1-5 stars, Jesenika rates 7 stars, the best hygienist I have ever had.

Experiencia positiva: The only truly positive person/thing about this office is Jesenika, the hygienist. She's truly amazing! Not only is she great she's extremely knowledgeable! If not for her I'd leave. The dentists have a pretty heavy up sale speel they give. I understand they give it because it's more money in their pocket (and they will say they say they produce a better product in-house); the issue is once I say no they, they continue to try to push me. I know my budget and the increase is about 328% out of pocket expenses. That's insane!

(If you’ve ever gotten your x-ray and they place the bite block in the front of your mouth which cuts up your gums, not with this x-ray Tech.)

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately I had an awful experience today. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the front desk ladies and the lady who did my X-rays. They were great and so sweet. Today was my first time seeing a different hygienist from my usual Jesenika. This hygienist’s name is Jennifer Townzen. If she walks into your room to do your cleaning, I highly recommend asking for a different person or ask to reschedule. My appointment was at 10:00. I arrived at 10:02 due to traffic on Fort Hood street. I was not seen by Jennifer until 10:45. I see the dentist every 6 months and I floss and brush my teeth every single day, without fail. I also purchased an electric tooth brush as recommended by Jesenika. Jennifer informed me she has been on leave for a while and today is her first day back. No problem, she needs a little patience getting back into the swing of things, I get that. She didn’t remember her password to log into the system so she had another person log in. Jennifer then seemed so unsure of what she was doing, I was almost concerned she didn’t actually work there. She changed her gloves and put germ-x on 3 times before even touching me, which yes, thank you for being aware of germs, but it honestly felt like she was stalling because she was nervous and didn’t remember what to do. Then when the cleaning started: again, I floss and brush my teeth every day and who knows, maybe I’m not doing it properly, but I have never been in that much pain having my teeth cleaned. Even when I was a kid and never flossed, I didn’t experience this amount of pain. She continuously poked my gums to the point my fingers went numb from gripping the seat so hard. My mouth was filled with blood and I can still taste the blood in my mouth hours later. My bib had blood on it and there was so much water dripping down my cheeks into my hair, to which she joked, “bet you didn’t know you were coming to the dentist to take a shower.” She would also pause the cleaning to talk to me about random things like her daughter, her husband, and about how she “talks to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” and how she doesn’t remember mosquitos being on Noah’s Ark. At first I was giving her the “uh-huh’s” while she talked, but then I just completely stopped responding. She noticed I kept wincing in pain and said, “sorry, your gums are just so inflamed. How often do you floss?” And I told her “I do it everyday so I’m very surprised I’m having so much pain and blood right now” and she said “well I’m not saying you’re terrible, because you’re not, but maybe change the way you floss and start doing it multiple times a day.” I was with her for an entire hour. My hands are still shaking from gripping the chair so hard in pain. Then Dr. Bell comes in. I’ve never seen him before, but I hope I do not see him again. He came in and looked at my x-rays and said, “your teeth are perfect. This is going to be boring.” And then he spent 45 seconds looking at my teeth and said, “you have one pocket, but other than that, your teeth are very healthy and strong. So just make sure you floss and all that other stuff I’m supposed to tell you to do.” He did not count how many millimeters my gums are to check for gingivitis and he did not say anything about my gums being inflamed like the hygienist said. It was just an awful experience. I requested the front desk ladies to put in my chart that I never have Jennifer again. I went ahead and scheduled another 6-month cleaning but I hope I can find a new dentist office before then. I hope the room I was in has cameras with audio recording because I’m not exaggerating this story at all.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for an exam and cleaning. I came out with the dentist telling me and my 16-year-old child we need dental scaling. What a money grab! If anyone is familiar with the scaling process, it's for people who have gingivitis and I mean you really got to have it bad and to do a procedure like that on a 16-year-old child who really does not need it. You risk all kinds of bacteria and infection. I would not recommend this dental clinic or any of the other modern dental clinics cuz you know all they do is change the first name clean modern dental Temple modern dental Georgetown modern dental. I just couldn't believe it just because we just had our teeth cleaned in September and I just wanted to get get the 6-month cleaning done. How in the Southern smoke did I get gingivitis? Did both of us get it actually in the course of 6 months to the point where we need dental scaling and couldn't get a cleaning? They're like get this first and then you can come back and get on your regular schedule for cleaning. Oh yeah okay and then $400 for each side of the mouth. They're kidding per person $1,200 not doing it

Dr. Musunuri was awesome with my initial appointment. She listened to my concerns and came up with a plan that worked for me. I have also had an appointment with Dr. Bell and he was extremely personable and understanding of my concerns. All of the assistants were awesome. I look forward to going to the dentist, especially since I stayed away for so long due to bad experiences with other offices.

Experiencia fantástica: My “singing hygienist” Jesenika was absolutely amazing! I was nervous, but she made me feel like I was with a friend. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left—even walking me to the front—she ensured I was at ease. She answered every question and made sure I didn’t leave with any doubts. She’s the best at what she does and doesn’t settle for less than her best! My dentist Dr. Bell was fantastic too—needles aren’t my thing, but he knew the right thing to do and say to put me at ease. The office staff was also, the office itself is a comfortable laid back environnement. I’m not a fan of the dentist, but this office and staff gave me a phenomenal experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience today with Dr. Bell and his team. I scheduled an emergency visit as a new patient who was in pain all weekend. The treatment coordinators were so helpful and professional. Dr. Bell was able to extract my third molar (wisdom tooth) the same day. As a dental assistant who’s never had to get any dental work done, Dr. Bell and his assistant did an amazing job coaching me through my extraction. The numbness lasted an appropriate amount of time after the procedure and with the help of ibuprofen I wasnt in any pain at all when the numbness wore off. I will be a returning patient. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Huang met all my needs and more, and has on a consistent basis. The candor and sincerity he has had towards my situation let me know I was in good hands. He has a very great method in delivering news and progress whether good or bad, and simplifies the process for everyday people like me. Dr. Huang and his team are the type of dentistry that makes you want to be there for a lifetime. And hey, the parking was great! Not to mention the goodie bag of dental accessories. UPDATE: I recently went in for a Root Canal Therapy/Crown and the high standard they have for patients has remained unchanged. I had restless nights and dreadful days from the oral pain I had and within 1 visit it was completely gone. I can easily say I trust this dentistry with my oral care for a long time.

The previous appointment to get this set up was with Dr. Andy Huang, his staff was able to get me in quickly for a lose crown that turned out needing the extraction. Dr. Huang is a great person and dentist, he has built up trust over the past 3 years, as I am very tense due to a bad experience years prior with another provider, another state. Thanks for the great experience during a not so pleasant time.

Experiencia fantástica: To sum up my 1st time visit @ Killeen Modern Dentistry: AWESOME When I lost my job back in May, I lost my dental insurance so I found this diamond in the rough on line based on there 1st time cost pricing but it was much more of an experience other than that, the hygienist Jesenika was very thorough with all my pre exams and explained each exam as she performed them, then Dr Musunuri came in read and explained each one in it’s entirety, she answered all my questions and was beyond knowledgeable about advising me on the next steps to address my 65 year old teeth issues I was then given a discounted quote with a very reasonable cost to address my issues I am working on coming up with the funds to have it all done This will now be my forever Dentist I hope to get this all taken care of by the end of the year THANK YOU KILLEEN MODERN DENTISTRY, I look forward to seeing you soon

Experiencia fantástica: Jesenika, Best hygienist ever. Throughout the years, I had issues with gagging. She did a good job today cleaning and flossing my teeth. I only gag once. Service was less than 30 mins. I want to give myself a star ⭐️ and I will give Jesenika ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Experiencia negativa: I took my girlfriend for an emergency dental visit for an infection this past Saturday. She was in a significant amount of pain. They said they'd prescribe antibiotics and pain meds. We went to pick up the prescriptions... only antibiotics were called in! We called the emergency line... keep in mind this was a Saturday afternoon... Spoke with the emergency line attendant and explained the situation. NO RESPONSE FROM THE DENTIST!!! MY GIRL SUFFERED FOR 48 HOURS! She could barely eat cream of wheat with a mashed banana! Monday morning they sent a prescription for ibuprofen. She went in on Tuesday for the extraction. When she asked for something stronger than ibuprofen, the look they gave her was appalling and then the dentist said they'd have to look at her ENTIRE prescription history! Did they? Probably not, because they haven't called to say anything! If they had, they'd find that the last time she got a prescription for pain meds was 15 years ago when she fell off the roof! My Girl is a decorated Killeen firefighter. Respected throughout this community! She recently attended the opening of the newly built fire station 4 and training facility. She uncoupled the ceremonial fire hose, which I'm sure you can find images online. This woman is a hero! She is not a drug seeker. The treatment she received by this practice was appalling! I personally felt so helpless watching her go through this! The dentist didn't even offer an apology to her for not calling in a prescription on Saturday. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! My Girl deserved better treatment than this!

Lead assistant Dama and Dr. Musunuri were both kind and welcoming and they explained everything thoroughly. They were gentle when working on my teeth and took their time with me. Experiencia fantástica: Whitney, Paris, and Dr. Zhang were awesome. I am an active duty service member whose filling fell out during a long weekend. I was experiencing pain and could not be seen due to dental on post being closed. Whitney worked to get me in fast. Paris took care of me and provided me with laughs to keep my mood up through out my visit. Dr. Zhang and Paris were a great team. Dr. Zhang took her time to ensure my treatment was done properly and that my new filling would last. The staff cares! I will be back and I recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Got a second opinion today and right away got a teeth cleaning without any consult for periodontal disease. I had both the dentist and hygienist check my teeth. Yes, I have a little bone loss, but they do not know the root cause. They will monitor for Further bone loss and I will visit my physician to get some testing done. First of all, they have posters on the wall in the exam room that tells you if you give them a good review, you can get a reward of some sort. You go in for a teeth cleaning, and tell you have you have periodontal disease so you cannot get your teeth cleaned until you pay $986 for periodontal treatment. Well, why can’t I get my teeth clean so I could prevent further deterioration, if that’s even true or this is just what they tell everybody. The whole thing was shady from the start before they checked my teeth. They were already talking to me about periodontal disease and got a Picture chart that they want you to look at. Please go and get a second opinion from a small business don’t use this commercial dentistry. And since when does periodontal treatment cost $986 as far as I know it’s about the 300 hundred dollar range, really overpriced. The front of my teeth look great. They even wanted to talk about silver fillings from when I was a kid and I’m in my mid 40s. I don’t need unnecessary dental work.

The ladies at the front desk answered my questions and helped me navigate the scheduling and payment process with ease. Aris was fantastic with my daughter and kept her comfortable and smiling through every visit! My daughter enjoys interacting with her! Dr. Zhang has explained each and every step of the work being done in a way that both my 10 year old daughter and myself understood clearly. She was kind and professional the entirety of each of our visits. Jesenika Perry posed for a selfie with my daughter that she sent me before beginning her deep cleaning. My daughter shared with me that Jesenika was singing and chatting with her and made her comfortable and at ease during her cleaning. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend this group! My daughter and I both have been extremely pleased with everyone we have came in contact with in this office. Thanks for making my girl comfortable and even excited to walk in the door at a dentist!!

Let’s start with Whitney, who is the friendliest person you have EVER met. All those dental nerves disappear the second I walk in the door. Jesenika, dental hygienist, if you are getting your teeth cleaned anywhere else you are wrong. You NEED her to clean your teeth. All the staff is hands down amazing but wanted to shout out these two.

Experiencia negativa: No private room to consult with dentist with had to sit in dental chair and wait for dentist for simple consult, who went back n forth between active dental patients and me, (and I was scheduled for consultation as well.) Wasnt offered any type of dental insurance payment plan, front desk handed me 2 flyers and made me hunt for a insurance provider on my own. I called these providers (both) and they said they've never heard of someone looking for their own dental plan before, the Dentist is supposed to do it.. Looks like front desk isn't doing their job in many ways. I called back modern dental and requested callback for a insurance provider through Modern Dental, never received a callback from them on insurance provider either. Dentist stated warranty on dental work, but nothing was written down on paper and was uncomfortable with the word "warranty" of any kind for several thousands of dollar's worth of work. Dentist was unwilling to do certain repairs or modify existing work on teeth or, she wanted to do her own thing and if she didn't agree on treatment with customer I was referred to a "specialist." or "someone else." She gave me only ONE option for my dental work, and if I didnt accept I was going to get "referred somewhere else." Two weeks later I decided not to go with Modern Dental and forwarded their Xrays to another dental office, new dental office said Xrays were so poor I had to take X rays all over again. The billing is only 80$ for Xrays, so I doubt the new dentist was taking Xrays all over again just for $80.. Front desk at modern Dental uninterested in their jobs and it show, eyerolls, unwilling to decipher medical codes/billing/breakdown/treatment for the patient for better billing understanding of what's needed for patient, costs and procedures. THIS WAS HUGE for me, the biggest flag of them all.. I RAN AWAY! Sidenote: Dental techs were more knowledgeable regarding procedures and had better depth understanding of what patient wanted, could afford and needed with willingness to work more with the patient than dentist was. They answered every question professionally, and dentist seemed more annoyed at consulting with patients than the Dental assistants. It was basically "the Dentists way, or the highway" with this particular dentist. She also didnt offer me options for crown type of material, any type of gold or alloy plating which is a full option I have as well, I had to go on the internet and do my own homework with what my crown options were. Dentist is VERY young maybe 30.. In my experience skills are refined and mastered with patience and years of experience, you've been warned. VERY POOR 2/5 stars.

Dr Huang and his staff treated me like an actual person and were able to get me out of pain, and felt nothing during the whole procedure!! I have anxiety going to any drs office but they made the visit pleasant and put me at ease. Your office will be my go to dentist from here on out!!

I met doctor Haung 2 years ago, when I got my dentures, they fit better than any I've ever had. Watching him you can see the care and pride He puts into his work.
