Toluca Lake Dentists

Experiencia fantástica: Cynthia was great! Very friendly and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been seen Cynthia for years now and she is absolutely the best.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you, Cynthia, for being the best hygienist ever. You have kept me smiling for decades! I always look forward to seeing you! :-)

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for many years and the staff is wonderful! I highly recommend seeing Gita for your teeth cleaning and Dr. McKay!

Experiencia fantástica: I just had my teeth cleaned today with Gita, who is part of Dr. McKay's team, and who is also my dentist. Gita is not only a great hygienist, who has given me great tips about oral hygiene, I see her as a friend as well. I have my teeth cleaned three times a year, and it is always a pleasure to see Gita. She always makes time for me and asks not only about the health of my teeth and gums, making sure there are no new concerns or problems, but adds personal friendly caring as well. It is a pleasure to see her always!

Experiencia fantástica: I started going to see Dr. McKay at Toluca Lake Dentists at the recommendation of a friend, and I've been going there for years now. Dr. McKay is fantastic -- knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Gita, the hygienist I always see, is so warm and caring that it feels like going to see a friend. And she always takes the time to answer my questions and give me tips that have helped lead me to better dental health. I can't recommend this office highly enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Cynthia is the best hygienist I have been to. Meticulous, thorough, gentle and nice. I've been going to her for years. She an expert in teaching teeth and gums care and she's always on time. I travel a lot for work and had to use other hygienists over the years. none were as good as Cynthia.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Cynthia Cadavid for over 13 years, and she is truly the BEST hygienist I could ever ask for! Every visit is consistently fantastic — Cynthia is gentle, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and always makes me feel completely at ease. She has a gift for turning a routine cleaning into a genuinely pleasant experience, and her positive energy is contagious. My teeth have never felt healthier, and I always leave my appointments smiling. Cynthia’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine care set her apart. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond every single time, Cynthia is the one! Highly, highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been going to the Toluca Lake Dentistry for over 15 years, and the quality of service and customer care is par none. Our dental hygienist, Cynthia, is highly knowledgeable and caring. Great service!!!!

Experiencia positiva: “We accept all PPO Dental insurance but are in network for zero PPO Dental insurance companies” — this is an important consideration as the patient will pay a percentage out of pocket for every visit, including preventative work and x-rays but especially for corrective dental work.

Experiencia negativa: They were not forthright about insurance coverage. They took my insurance info and said my cleaning would be covered but any other services would likely not be. Turns out my insurance only paid a small portion of the cleaning and now I'm stuck with a large bill.

Experiencia fantástica: Gita my hygenist is fabulous! The office is clean, efficient and friendly. Dr McKay has been great for me as well. I’ve never had any reason not to recommend this practice. Well, it’s been two years since my last review and all I can say is if you’re looking for a new dental practice this would be the place to head. Dr McKay and his entire staff have proven to be nothing but professional and meticulous. I feel fortunate to have this dental office as close to my residence as it is!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, efficient, and professional. Made my visit very enjoyable

Experiencia fantástica: They really do a great job in every way.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and professional staff and minimal waiting time. Very happy with my experience. 1/16/2024: I am updating my review. I have been getting my teeth cleaning at Toluca Lake Dentistry for a few years now. The care I receive from Armine is always exceptional. She is very thorough, professional, listens attentively to my concerns and always provides the best care. The entire team at the dental office shows a high level of professionalism and makes me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr McKay and his team are amazing. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: I was suffering from a toothache & called Dr. MacKay's office first thing in the morning. They gave me a 4 PM appointment and took care of the problem that day. Can't beat that level of service.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place. Me and my husband go to Cynthia. She is literally the best dentist I've ever had. She loves her job and makes it fun to go to the dentist. You know you are getting healthier and healthier teeth each time you go and she makes it actually fun! I can't wait for my next appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff and great dentist, I have had the pleasure of Dr. Mckay dentistry for the past 15 years.

Experiencia fantástica: My teeth and gums are in excellent condition thanks to the consistent care of my hygenist, Cynthia, and Dr. Lai. Given the option, why go anywhere else?

Experiencia fantástica: Dr McKay and his hygienist Cynthia are always kind, thorough, honest and the best results. I’ve been going to Toluca Laje Dentists for 25 years and I have no intention of changing ever!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going for years, they fixed my bite and my dental hygienist is a DREAM - Gita remembers my kids, uses a warm cloth scented with lavender to make a cleaning like a spa experience! I tell everyone to go to her. Sending her a little love! You’re the best Gita!

Experiencia fantástica: I completely cracked an old molar on Sunday night, so first thing Monday morning, Dr McKay squeezed me in for an emergency extraction and bone insertion for an eventual implant. He did a great job, and, considering the trauma, I was very happy with how well I was taken care of. Thanks! Just updating here on 11/04/23: Dr McKay is terrific - if you are looking for a dentist you will be happy with him and his staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice dental office, all of them are very professional and kind especially Ms. Roxanna and Dr, McKay. Please visit their office at Toluca Lake.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience. Had an emergency and they fit me in last minute. Wish I was local - they would be my go to for dental care!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for at least 20+ years. Dr. Albus in the beginning and Dr. McKay in recent years. Great people working at the office too like Roxanna, and my longtime teeth cleaning with Cynthia the dental hygienist; she is great too. Mostly on time which is hard to find in any Dr. Office.

Experiencia fantástica: I love the experienced and friendly professional doctors and personnel. May GOD bless them!

Experiencia fantástica: everyone was professional and most of all caring

Experiencia fantástica: I was a legacy Dr Albus patient, but Doc McKay is A ok!!! Fantastic dentist and keeps the practice going.

Experiencia fantástica: Have been with this practice since I moved to the area in 1997 and adore the doctor, assistants and front office. Dr McKay is wonderful and very thorough with exams and gentle when it comes to an procedure. Would recommend them 100%.

Experiencia fantástica: I moved to CA and had to go to the dentist a few days after I got to CA because a permanent retainer came loose. They got me in right away and have convenient office times available. Staff is great. Location easy to get to. Would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Toluca lake dentists is the best dental office I have ever been to, very comfortable environment on there 3rd floor office. The lobby when you walk in has like 7 receptionist ready to help you & the best dentists you could ask for. It has almost 30 rooms there. And a couple dozen doctors dentist and nurses helping everybody with there appointments. I love Taluca lake dentists so much.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy I have Dr McKay as my dentist! I love the whole team . I have seen my share of dentists and oral surgeons, and he is a God send. So capable , and thoughtful. Office is very convenient for me and front desk has always been warm and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: Always excellent service. The staff is professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is so kind here. The care and bedside manor of all (receptionists, hygienists, dentists) are top notch. Dr. McKay, in particular, is a wonderful dentist, but more importantly, really takes the time to get to know how you are doing in life. Highly recommend this group!

Experiencia fantástica: My sister brought me here because she didn't like my old dentist, Dr. McKay and his team were awesome - goodby old dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I used to dread going to the dentist but NO LONGER! Super friendly staff, great parking, excellent service, soothing atmosphere, very clean and very gentle (important!) doctors and assistants. I hadn't been in 5 years so I was expecting the worst in pain and money. Dr. McKay's reaction was "oh it's been 5 years, was it too painful, or...?" Funny enough, he had given me a root canal and I barely felt anything and was shocked when he said "all done!" People always complained to me about the excruciating pain they encounter when getting a root canal so I braced myself for unbearable pain. The pain never came. Easily the most skilled and most gentle dentist I've ever encountered. Aside from the spicy Foxy Roxy giving me some fun jabs for being away so long it was an absolute pleasure of a visit. Today I had a bridge along with other unmentionables and again, super gentle staff and Dr. McKay was super pleasant as always. Quick, efficient, painless. Actually looking forward to my cleaning in 4 months. See ya soon, Gita! ^_^

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this practice for 30 years. Everyone is extremely professional. Dr. McKay is attentive and talented. My hygienist Cynthia is terrific - very detailed, gentle, and wise.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Location, plenty of parking, clean office! Friendly staff. Felt welcomed from the first day. Gentle when it counted, but great and efficient work from the hygienist (Cynthia) to the doctors. Highly recommend this dental office to anyone that “hates” the dentist and is in the fence of trying out a new place. Great Reviews, check them out!

Experiencia fantástica: The office is clean and modern. The staff is friendly and professional. My teeth feel cleaner than they have in a long time. I would highly recommended this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McKay is a great dentist. His office is wonderful and helpful. The dental hygienist is the best I’ve ever had.

Experiencia fantástica: I would go back to them again. The whole team there is flawless. I was blessed to get nurse Linda and Dr. Ronald Mckay. 10/10 would recommend. The care I received put me at ease. The whole process was effective and I have no more pain. Thanks again to these angels. If you need a dentist, This is the best.

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist and staff are all superb. Customer service is excellent and Dr. McKay is very talented-I’ve done all my crowns here. I should say the entire staff is talented as well, the hygiene staff/the staff doing the crowns, and everything else is great, people are friendly; easy parking.

Experiencia fantástica: My hygienist is very thorough and really takes the time to educate me on how to improve my dental health. She’s amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: wonderful care, they really are sensitive to your pain level

Experiencia fantástica: Gita(hygienist)treats you like you’re at a spa-I mean yes, you’re still getting your teeth cleaned… And Dr. McKay makes you feel like he’s totally got this. So many great employees; all pretty wonderful. Top to bottom, the warmest and most professional staff you could want at an office. I never write reviews. This is deserved.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional high-quality work. Squeezed me in same day with an achy tooth. Worth the drive - I drive 45 minutes to get to this dentist. Conveniently open Saturday.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service, super friendly staff, always an amazing job :)

Experiencia fantástica: I was avoiding going to my hygienist for over a year due to the pandemic. Gita made me feel welcome and was very gentle and attentive during my cleaning. She paused several times to ask how I was doing and gave me a warm towel to wipe my face at the end. An added touch were tiny twinkle lights Gita had installed in her ceiling. They change colors and are a nice distraction. I have been coming to this dental office for about 20 years and in addition to their dentistry skills, I feel they are kind and caring. I highly Recommend this dental practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional dentist office. Thorough and to the point. Also Miss Gita is the best Hygienist I’ve ever had. Friendly and very professional I’ll follow her to the end of the world.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Staff and treatment from entering to leaving. And my teeth are great.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McKay, and the staff at Toluca Lake were able to help me with a filling related issue. They were able to fit me into their schedule, boy that was a tremendous help. I'm so glad I didn't have to take a day off work to correct my issue. Thankfully my filling was an easy fix. Thank you, Dr. McKay and staff members !!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best. Dr. McKay is the best dentist ever. When ever I visit his charming, expert staff for care I know I am in the best of hands.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McKay is Top Shelf!!! A1 service!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Toluca Lake Dentistry for over 35 years. Gita is an amazing hygienist, very kind and caring Normally I see Dr McKay for my dentist but today I saw Dr Li and she was great! I had never seen her before and since I'm a little Dental phobic I was nervous. She immediately put me at ease and took care of my small problem promptly. I would highly recommend anyone in this practice!

Experiencia fantástica: I drive two hours from my house to get to this dentist, because this office is EXCELLENT! Dr. McKay and all of his staff (especially Roxanna) are professional, friendly and most importantly good at dentistry. I would highly recommend them if you care about the health of your teeth and want to have a beautiful smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McKay and his team are terrific! I recommend them highly.

Experiencia fantástica: Super conscientious and professional. Always remembers details about my family. I feel safe and calm.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Toluca Lake Dentistry for thirteen years. Dr. McKay took care of an emergency that my other dentist was not taking seriously enough and I felt like I had been saved when I landed in McKay's office. They are very responsive to emergencies and will go the extra mile to get you properly cared for and out of pain asap. When it comes to cleaning: I've been going to Gita for the same amount of time and I totally relax in her chair. She is the best there is, barre none. World class and super gentle.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a root canal, felt like nothing, Dr. McKay is a master.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot express how amazing this office is! I have been going here for many many years and after a TERRIBLE experience at another dentist office, I came here to get help on an implant. Dr. McKay was very helpful, friendly, and concerned for me and fixed my issue immediately on the first try! I will forever come here even if it's not in my network. You get what you pay for, and Dr. McKay and his team ARE ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! I love coming in for my cleanings because the staff and Dr. McKay cares so much about their patients :)

Experiencia fantástica: My dentists for three decades! The best patient experience ever.

Experiencia fantástica: Customer since 1994; happy professionals, no matter the task. The absolute pinnacle of dentistry!

Experiencia fantástica: Saturday morning, my daughter knocked her front tooth loose. We have never been to Dr. McKay before, but he was able to see us within 30 minutes on a Saturday. He was so kind to my daughter, just great bedside manner. We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and skilled staff and Drs. Roxanne makes everything great. Really great care from the front desk, to cleaning (Cynthia), to the Dentists (Dr. McKay and Dr. Lai). So glad to smile after their care!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McKay is as good as it gets. A very welcoming office with a great and friendly staff to make the experience very smooth and easy. Dr. McKay goes above and beyond with his patients, a real professional that truly cares. There’s a reason this place has hundreds of 5 star reviews, they are the best hands down.

Experiencia fantástica: A great dentist's office! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Also using latest technology. Would refer them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Little overwhelming for me such a large office and so much going on at once with people and offices everywhere. Referred from a long-time friend and her family. Didn’t care to much of Christine the hygienist who did my cleaning. She rushed me out her chair. Didn’t take her time. It wasn’t a thorough cleaning. Not what what I expected. They couldn’t locate my insurance policy although I provided my cards. Who knows what kind of bill I will receive let’s just hope they located my policy and some cost is covered. Roxanne was genuine along with Dr. McKay. Not a good or bad review just would like a new hygienist next appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a Dentist and staff. In each room, the attached pledge of service excellence is posted and every member of the staff truly embodies it. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Great Dental practice in Toluca Lake. Friendly staff and I have always been happy with the dental work I have received.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient with Dr. Albus and now Dr. McKay for the past 40 years, and I would not want to go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had my first experience with Dr. McKay. He and his assistant took the time to answer all of my questions and really listened. I felt like I was in excellent hands.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient in this practice for over 50 years now, and for good reasons: the quality of work and the quality of personnel. I could not recommend them more highly - for you, and for your smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Just had my teeth cleaned today by Gita. She is absolutely the best! I won’t go to anyone else I drive half an hour Each way and look forward to it the whole drive. I also go to Dr. McKay. I have so much confidence in him. He is an excellent Dentist

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Toluca Lake Dentistry for 21 years.. they are the best. Everyone is polite and professional, and my mouth is healthy. Don’t trust your dentistry to just anyone! They will take great care of you!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Best root canal ever! Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this office for over 30 years. Always “A+” service.

Experiencia negativa: A few years ago, I came in for tooth pain and they told me I broke a tooth. My tooth was perfectly healthy otherwise. They botched my root canal and put in a outdated crown. (I later learned most dentists use/prefer porcelain crowns. I also later learned that you should only get a root canal from a root canal specialist and was blindly given a root canal by the dentists here-- yes, it took multiple dentists in multiple appointments to work on the same tooth.) I was left with a recurring infection for years. I finally got my root canal redone at Mass General in Boston and they are struggling to save the tooth. Would not recommend this dentist and hope this helps someone else.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient for many years. The care has always been excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent dental assistants. Great attentive care. And Dr. McKay is a truly great and efficient dentist with excellent bedside manners.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Vickie Lai is great. I received a recommendation to Toluca Lake Dentistry via a friend of mine. Dr. McKay is his dentist and has a straight across the board great rep. There wasn't much if any info at all, e.g. reviews, about Dr. Lai online, but it happened that I was able to get an appointment sooner with her than with Dr. McKay. She was efficient in communication yet thorough in function. High caliber with respect to competence. The in-person staff there was nice/professional and efficient. It's a nice office. I felt the price of what I had done was very fair. Highly recommended.
