Experiencia fantástica: Dr Norman is the best. He has been our pediatric dentist for 2 years now and my kids have zero anxiety about going. One of my kids had to have an extraction and was super nervous. Dr Norman distracted him and my son didn’t even know he got a shot. They are located in the downtown area of Burbank too which makes it fun have a treat or do some shopping before or after.

My son was really taken care of and Dr. Norman was super quick about his exam and teeth cleaning! He even went out of his way to play with my baby to get him acquainted with the office space and tools! On top of a great cleaning, and great advice about how to keep baby’s dental hygiene on track, we went home with a sticker, a toy and a Polaroid memento of our first dentist visit. The front desk staff and the doctors were so nice and sweet. We felt so comfortable and welcomed. After finishing our check up, baby got a goodie bag that included a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, stickers, a toy and they even took a Polaroid picture of us! The office is delightfully clean and nice! We love it here and we are glad we joined the Family at East Valley!

They have a wonderful waiting room for the kids to play and make friends. My daughter was two on our first visit. It was a little challenging for her at the beginning, but Dr. Norman and his staff were all so patient and kind. The TV’s on the ceiling playing my daughter’s favorite show and the glove balloon helped her relax. She has regular visits to the dentist and this past visit was the best! She’s almost 4 years old and she was happy playing with all of the toys and even was willing to do x-rays of her teeth! I’m very happy that my daughter loves her dentist.

Before discovering East Valley, my son had a terrible experience at a previous dental office, and it left him feeling anxious and scared. I was determined to find the right dentist for him, and I’m so grateful we found Mrs. Padi. She is absolutely amazing with kids—so patient, kind, and genuinely great at building trust. She takes the time to make her young patients feel comfortable and heard. My son went from being fearful and tearful to curious and confident—he even asks questions now! What I appreciate most is that Mrs. Padi never talks down to him or brushes off his questions just because he’s a child. She treats him with so much respect, and that means everything. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Seeing my son excited to go to the dentist is something I never thought I’d say—but here we are!

My 7 year old had a horrible experience with our previous dentist (they cut her inner cheek while getting xrays). She was teary today as she thought this would happen again. She was soooo scared. Dr Norman was so patient. He had a discussion with my daughter about the xrays needed. He got her to relax. The 2 gals that took the actual XRays were very slow and deliberate with their work. They caused no tissue trauma or gagging like the prior officer had. They also let me hold my dgtrs hand during her xrays. All 3 of my kids were so happy with the office. My girls wanted to stay and play. So happy we found this office!!

We brought our 15 month son here for his very first dental appointment and it was such a positive experience. The waiting room is already so cute with its interactive “water mats” and the play kitchen. My son was already happy just being in the waiting room which led to a great start. When it came time to the examination and cleaning, Dr. Norman went down to our toddlers level and showed him all the dental tools first and satisfied our little ones curiosity. The cleaning and examination went FLAWLESSLY. Not a single tear was shed! 10/10 would recommend

Also, we were able to fill out all paperwork prior to arrival, which for a parent juggling an active toddler is a huge plus in my book. Extremely clean and inviting office. The Doctor and Registered Dental Assistant did such a great job with my daughter for her first visit. She was able to watch Mickey Mouse Club while in the exam chair and during the cleaning. I was able to ask questions and did not feel rushed at all. We had such an enjoyable experience and my daughter was able to pick out a sticker and toy to take home with her. We were able to take a really cute photo in front of the accent wall that we were also able to take home with us. I love all of the thoughtful details. From the waiting room with coffee for parents and toys for the kids, to dental chairs with movies playing from above, my kids loved getting their teeth cleaned with chocolate flavored paste by Marlene (per my kids, “she was so gentle!”) and getting their teeth examined by Dr Norman. He is a great communicator with kids and parents alike.

The staff was incredibly understanding and guided us with such patience and kindness. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a lovely, kid-friendly lobby, complete with coffee and water for the parents—a very nice touch! The door had a thoughtful welcome note for all the new patients, which made us feel instantly at ease. The inside of the office is spotless and beautifully decorated. My son was kept entertained with the TVs in the rooms, which was a big help in keeping him calm. The dental assistants were incredibly friendly and made my son feel right at home. At the end of the visit, he was thrilled to pick out a toy and sticker from the best selection I’ve ever seen. To top it all off, they took the cutest photo of my son and printed it for us to take home—a wonderful keepsake! We are so glad we chose East Valley Children’s Dentistry and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Tldr: Don't look further. This is the PERFECT pediatric dentistry for your child! I was frantically searching for a pediatric dentist for my little girls. My general dentists were trying to reassure me that my kids didn't quite have to be seen per se until they were a bit older. (Truthfully, needs to be seen with the first tooth or first birthday.) I scoured through most of Los Angeles dentists (criteria: pediatrics) that accepted our insurance and didn't feel the most confident until stumbling upon Dr. Norman and Dr. Cat's practice. Read up about their journey and challenges to create their own practice/space and felt at ease that this is the right place to bring my littles. Anyways, the office team and Dr. Norman are AMAZING!! As a peds nurse, this is everything you would be looking for when finding the right place for your littles. A visit to the dentist can be an intimidating experience and they try their absolute hardest to make it as enjoyable as possible for the kids. By the time we were out the door, I was already texting my coworkers and friends to tell them to look no further.

Filling out the forms online ahead of time made check in easy (make sure you have your ID and insurance cards so they can copy them at check in). It was our son’s first dental visit ever (16 months) and the room they had us in was brightly lit with colorful squishmellow animals and the assistant queued up Bluey as a helpful distraction to ease into the appointment. Our son, of course, was not a fan of having his mouth examined, which is totally normal at this age. The doctor and his staff are very used to it, very patient, calming and helped position my husband so he could hold our son and support the doc in doing a quick cleaning and exam. We spent more time talking and asking questions and getting practical guidance for toddler dental care. Will definitely come back and make this our son’s dental home. They even took and printed a sweet family photo of us to mark his first visit. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Took my daughter to East Valley Children’s Dentistry today and it was well worth the wait for finding the right kid’s dentist. Parking worked out very nicely in the nearby garage, and upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the very nice receptionist. The office has a very modern and comfortable vibe, which is suitable for both children and adults. There’s a nice play area in the front which kept my daughter occupied. Moving towards the back, we entered a very clean room where we saw TVs on the ceiling and a bench where I could sit. After the appointment, my daughter chose her prize and sticker. It is so hard these days to find trustworthy dentists, especially ones who show caring and gentle treatment towards our children. Dr. Catherine and Dr. Norman receive my highest recommendation and I give them a 5/5 rating for their awesome service

A wonderful play area for kids when you walk in, coffee and water in the lobby. We were taken into a private room with a tv for my little one. It was such a warm and friendly environment. We were sent home with a dental goodie bag, toys, and stickers. Highly recommend! Wish they took adults!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 3 year old autistic child here for her first ever dentist visit. The place was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The dentist and staff were very knowledgeable about kids on the spectrum and made my daughter comfortable. He also gave me tips to help with teeth brushing! I was very nervous going in and none going out!

Experiencia fantástica: Day 1 walking in, super clean, staff very welcoming! Even had my daughter’s name on their welcoming door sign! Going in to speak to the Dentist, he gave us a great background of him and his wife, and he asked us about what are concerns are with our daughters teeth. He definitely took very care for our concerns! We definitely had an amazing experience!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

My son has ASD and a bad doctor’s experience in the past, and it’s always been very stressful for him to go to the dentist and have routine exams and cleaning. Dr. Norman was very patient and calm, and my son trusted him to clean his teeth! My son loved this experience and we will be back for the future check up and cleaning!

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 recommend East Valley Children’s Dentistry! It was my 6 year old’s first visit to the dentist because he was terrified before and they were so gentle and understanding! The Dentist took his time explaining everything to my 6 year old and allowing him to touch the equipment before he used it on him. We had an amazing experience and will definitely return! Every person from front desk, to the hygienist to the Dentist were absolutely phenomenal!

They truly provide the greatest guest experience--- from the beautiful & clean waiting area with a small play area for your kid and complimentary beverages for the parents, to playing your kids fav show on the tv to calm their nerves while they're getting their check-up, and ending the visit with a small toy & stickers as a reward. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Norman and his staff are awesome! Immediately upon walking in you feel welcomed. The waiting area has toys and books for little ones to keep busy. The exam area is open and bright. This was my 3 year olds 3rd time here and she felt comfortable enough to sit in the big chair by herself and let Dr. Norman examine and polish her teeth without any fuss or nervousness. Dr. Norman know just how to approach and help kids be comfortable with the process. I’m so glad I found this dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: My son is 1 year and 10months and I wasn’t sure if it was too soon to take him to the dentist but when I noticed a bit of food stuck in his teeth, I didn’t know how to get it out. Going here was the best choice! Our appointment was the day before Halloween and the whole staff was in Super Mario costumes! Everyone was so kind and the environment is so welcoming! I particularly loved that it wasn’t over stimulating. My son loves Bluey and they immediately put it on for him while we waited. The cleaning was gentle and I came out feeling super educated on next steps. Bonus was when they took a photo at the end of our appointment to capture our milestone! The cool stickers and fun toy my son got to pick out was a win also! Overall, I’m so glad I found this gem.

Experiencia fantástica: Was looking for a new pediatric dentist in Burbank. East valley popped up and we read up on them and made an appointment. The office is clean, modern and has very friendly staff. We saw Dr. Chen (his wife is the other dentist), and loved him. He was so friendly with my daughters and asked questions to get to know them/ make them comfortable. The X-rays were thorough, and Dr. Chen went over every detail with me and answered all of my questions with patience. Highly recommend.
