Experiencia negativa: Complete crooks. Went in for two root canal retreats. With the medical insurance. Billed me for 350 twice for two teeth. Then charged me 150 for the crown. Did the second retreat put in a temporary crown that was done by not even the dentist but the pretty assistant. And as soon as i went home it popped out. Been waiting for the temporary crown and suddenly they say the insurance isn’t covering it. Crooks. Non American way. I will handle it my own way. But be careful of these charlatans

The root canal treatment was completed in our office, and a temporary filling was placed afterward to seal the access opening, which is standard procedure following root canal therapy. No crown treatment was performed in our office.
Patients are informed that a temporary filling is not intended to be permanent and that a final crown is necessary after root canal treatment to properly protect and preserve the tooth long term. This was explained during your visit. If the temporary filling came out, we would have gladly replaced it for you had you contacted our office.
Regarding your insurance concerns, our office submitted all required documentation and claims to your insurance company. Unfortunately, insurance coverage decisions and claim denials are made solely by the insurance provider and are completely outside of our control. You are welcome to contact your insurance company directly for clarification regarding their denial.
We also believe it is important for reviews to present the full and accurate situation so other readers can fairly understand what actually occurred. Leaving a negative review while omitting important details about the completed treatment, the temporary nature of the filling, and the insurance company’s independent denial decision does not accurately reflect the care and communication provided by our office.

I paid the bill using their payment plan, which I was grateful for, being a low-income Section 8 retiree. After about three years of fighting the charges to me, CDC was ordered to pay me back about $575.00. CDC told me the check was mailed. Experiencia negativa: This is the worst dental clinic I have ever been to. Three months ago, I had a root canal treatment and a crown placed here. Since then, I’ve had ongoing problems that still have not been resolved. First, I developed severe gum inflammation that lasted for a long time, and Dr. Roland Yakubov told me he didn’t know why it was happening. Later, I started having pain in the same tooth, and the endodontist also said she didn’t know the reason—maybe there were tiny canals left untreated that they couldn’t fix. I eventually had to retreat the canal in another clinic under a microscope. However, I still have another issue: the crown that Dr. Roland placed does not fully cover my tooth on the inside. And now I can’t even get an appointment with him to address this problem—first my appointment was rescheduled, and when I showed up at the new time, I was told I was booked with another doctor who couldn’t fix the issue. The staff is unprofessional, incompetent, and takes no responsibility for their work. Avoid this clinic.

My sister had a scheduled appointment for a molar removal, yet we were left waiting for over two hours before being seen. She had followed all pre-procedure instructions, including not eating or drinking beforehand. When we expressed concern about how long she’d been without food or water, the staff’s response was dismissive — saying, “Some people go days without eating or drinking and are fine.” This comment was unprofessional, insensitive, and showed a complete lack of empathy for patients’ comfort and well-being. Appointments are meant to be honored to minimize patient stress, especially before a procedure. We will not be returning and would caution others to consider how they value your time and health before booking here.
We are very disappointed to read this review, as it does not reflect the way our office operates. We hold our staff to the highest standards of professionalism, and the comment you mentioned is not something our team would ever say to a patient. Regarding waiting times: as a multi-specialty office, we care for many patients—including those in urgent need of treatment. Unlike some clinics that schedule weeks out, we do our best to accommodate patients quickly. In rare situations, surgical procedures may take longer than expected, which can lead to delays for subsequent appointments. While this is sometimes unavoidable in dentistry, we recognize how important your time and comfort are, and we are continually working on ways to improve scheduling and communication.

The third time, I went different dentist Secondly dishonest and not enough information they provide differently to my insurance and to me different statement to adjust even pricing they will sit you accounting to take your money first... their motivation, not you just $$$ in your pocket they make you feel you are stupid and worth nothing... also I get worst dentist in my life.

Experiencia negativa: Two months ago, this dental clinic placed fillings on the right side of my jaw, and I still can't chew on that side because it hurts a lot. I'm very disappointed that I trusted them. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the dentists who did the fillings.

While it’s not common for pain to last this long after a filling, there are several possible reasons this can happen—for example, if the bite needs adjustment, if the tooth was very close to the nerve, or if there is an underlying issue that was not visible at the time of treatment.
The best way to determine the cause is to re-examine the tooth and take updated X-rays so we can address the problem directly. In many cases, a simple adjustment resolves the issue quickly.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing this review to share my deep disappointment and frustration with CDC dental staff and Dr Roland Yakuhou My Mother is a senior citizen, entrusted this dentist with her dental care, only to be taken advantage of in the most unprofessional and unethical manner. The dentist convinced her to undergo an extensive procedure to remove her teeth and replace them with implants. She trusted this dentist to provide her with the proper care and follow through with the treatment plan. However, after pulling her teeth and leaving her with bare gums, the dentist failed to complete the implant procedure, leaving her in a devastating situation. For the past five years, she has been unable to eat solid foods, smile with confidence, or live a normal life. Despite repeated requests for a resolution—whether completing the treatment or issuing a refund- DR Yakubov has refused to take responsibility. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is appalling, especially when it comes to vulnerable seniors. I would strongly advise anyone considering this practice to think twice. Patients deserve care, compassion, and professionalism—not abandonment and financial exploitation. Avoid Roland Yakubov at all costs, especially if you value your health and well-being.

Thank you for sharing your opinion, albeit unfair and misleading. Since you’ve chosen to present opinions without factual context for the community to consider, allow for me to provide a response grounded in facts, not emotions.
Your mother was treated with the utmost care and fairness at my office for past several years, and we have gone above and beyond to accommodate her needs. She initially sought treatment for broken and missing teeth. She was experiencing significant pain and difficulty eating. If her well-being was such a concern, perhaps her condition should have been addressed earlier. When she first arrived at our practice, her upper jaw had only 5 teeth remaining out of 16, a situation that clearly developed over time. Similarly, her lower jaw was missing half of its teeth, further reflecting prolonged neglect.
Regarding, the treatment received at CDC Dental Center, I performed six dental implants—four for her upper jaw and two for her lower jaw. After the healing process, she received a three-unit bridge for her lower arch to restore her ability to chew, as well as an implant-retained full upper denture. Despite her initial dissatisfaction with the upper denture, I replaced it twice at no additional charge.
For this extensive treatment, she was charged $6,000. I encourage you to research comparable services to understand the significant value she received. The cost of such comprehensive care in the market place is considerably higher, but as part of my commitment to the senior community, I have provided reduced rates.
To date, I have served over 8,000 patients, with more than 6,000 being active, and many others referred by other doctors and clinics. This reflects the trust and satisfaction of my patient community.
Additionally, the picture you shared conveniently omits the denture that completes the treatment. I respectfully request that you refrain from disseminating incomplete or inaccurate information. If needed, I can provide lab invoices to substantiate the delivery of all treatments.
Additionally, during our last meeting, I referred her to a highly regarded specialist at Premier Care Dental Group in Pasadena for a consultation and second opinion. Unfortunately, she did not follow through with that referral. Therefore, before placing blame on your doctor, I would kindly suggest ensuring that the necessary steps and follow-ups are completed.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible Service and Negligence at This Clinic! Recently, my son needed treatment for his baby teeth. The dentist told us that 11 teeth needed to be fixed, and that it had to be done under general anesthesia. We agreed to the treatment. My son was under anesthesia for 1.5 hours, and they only managed to treat one-third of his mouth — the back left teeth with crowns and fillings. They scheduled another appointment, put him under anesthesia again, but 20 minutes later, I got a call. They informed me that his front baby teeth also needed crowns, which would cost $1,000 (four teeth at $250 each). If I didn’t agree, they could put stainless steel crowns. I was shocked! Why didn’t they inform us about this during the first appointment? I told them to just do fillings on the front teeth and to focus on finishing the major work — crowns on the back teeth. Another 20 minutes passed, and they sent my son home. When he arrived, I was furious to find that the right side of his back teeth wasn’t touched at all! They put him under anesthesia for nothing! When I confronted Dr. Ronald about it, he said he “decided to do something else instead.” This is outrageous! They are just milking insurance by doing unnecessary procedures instead of addressing the real issues! To give you more context: my older daughter was also told by this clinic that she needed 8 teeth fixed. We went to another dentist for a second opinion, and they said her teeth were perfect for her age and didn’t need any work at all. After this, I took my son to a different pediatric dentist who was shocked by the whole story. This dentist also told me I was the second parent to come in with a similar complaint after visiting Dr. Ronald — where the child was put under anesthesia, and nothing meaningful was done. By the way, the new dentist managed to do everything for my son without any anesthesia! Please, protect your children’s health and avoid this clinic at all costs! P.S. They continue to call me even though I’ve asked them multiple times not to contact me again and to remove our information from their database. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
