Experiencia negativa: Please listen to the reviews. They were a last resort because I was in unbearable pain. As soon as you walk in, the chairs in the lobby are old and torn. I had 5 shots to numb my tooth and still felt extreme pain. I arrived at 845 am left after 12pm. Unless if you’re getting wisdom teeth or a root canal done there’s no reason to be waiting around that long at a dentist office. Also, I was already in a lot of pain and very anxious as you can imagine. They were very uncaring and the dentist said I made her uncomfortable making noise because it hurt. Do not come here!!!

Experiencia negativa: I do NOT recommend this dental clinic—don’t waste your time coming here. EVERY SINGLE TIME I made an appointment, I was left waiting over an hour. They told me it was because I booked at 12pm during lunch time but the previous appointment was at 9am, was that their breakfast time? It’s clear they overbook and don’t respect their patients’ time at all. On top of that, the dentist has done a filling on the same molar twice and still can’t figure out why it’s sensitive. It honestly feels like she’s just guessing every time. She removed the previous filling just to replace it again, and I’m still dealing with the same issue. Overall, very unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating experience. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I went to this office in severe dental pain on a Saturday, desperate for help, and what I experienced was honestly shocking. The office itself was visibly unclean—worn, stained chairs and an overall lack of basic hygiene that made me uncomfortable the moment I walked in. That alone should have been my first sign to leave. What made it worse was the staff. I was clearly in distress, and instead of showing even a shred of compassion, I was treated like an inconvenience. I was actually turned away while in tears. No urgency, no concern—just cold, dismissive behavior. Before even being examined, they handed me paperwork to sign stating that they have me sign n then will explain, NO! You EXPLAIN FIRST. How can you “consent” to treatment that hasn’t even been discussed or evaluated? That felt completely inappropriate and misleading. I later saw that other reviews mentioned similar issues, and I regret not listening. If you are in pain or need urgent care, this is NOT the place to go. You will not be treated with empathy, professionalism, or basic decency.

The entire team—from the receptionist and office manager to the friendly technicians—was wonderful. Dr. Vadi was excellent, taking the time to find the right solution for my issue. If you're looking for a down-to-earth practice that prioritizes high-quality results over fancy lobby furniture, I highly recommend this place.

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited this office for X-rays and a cleaning. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I was informed that my medical insurance would cover the visit, including the X-rays and cleaning. However, after reading other reviews mentioning unexpected billing, I am concerned and hope that I will not receive a bill, as no out-of-pocket costs were discussed with me during my appointment. Regarding the cleaning itself, I was told I would be receiving a deep cleaning. However, the service provided consisted of polishing and some plaque removal with a scraping tool. In my experience, this did not feel like the thorough deep cleaning I have received in the past. The procedure felt rushed, and my teeth did not have the clean, refreshed feeling I typically expect after a proper deep cleaning. Additionally, I was informed that I only need a cleaning once per year, which differs from the standard six-month cleaning schedule I have followed with other dental providers. This experience reminded me of why I had not returned to this office in many years. While the staff was courteous, I would not personally recommend this location to individuals who are specifically looking for comprehensive six-month cleanings and a more detailed deep cleaning service.

Experiencia negativa: This place is disgusting . The lobby needs a makeover as the chairs are badly damaged and torn apart. Old dated equipment and not sanitary . Went once and will never go back again.

Experiencia negativa: This office is cheater. This dental office has been very frustrating to deal with. We visited the office for a regular check-up and cleaning and were told there would be no cost based on our insurance coverage. However, afterward we began receiving bills, along with threats of being sent to a collection agency. We reached out at least ten times to have the charges removed from our account, and each time we were told the issue had been taken care of, but nothing changed. Overall, it feels like their practice is to collect money they are not entitled to, relying on people who may feel intimidated by the mention of collections and end up paying unnecessarily.

Experiencia positiva: This dental office has a very small waiting area and the waiting room chairs are tore up. Recently I went in for a root canal and luckily they called me right in. Previously I would have to reschedule for waiting after an hour. The dentist did an amazing job she numbed me very. I didn't feel any pain and it went smoothly.However the dentist failed to call the pharmacy to check in for my antibiotics and pain medication. It was well over an hour when I arrived at the pharmacy and the order was not in.Very unprofessional.

I went with my family over and they just took a x-ray that my insurance covered it definitely and just regular cleaning after that I received 10 times a bill by mail. I went over, I called them, my husband called them. Long time I stayed on hold but nobody showed up to explain and answer my question. Thank god I didn’t take any appointments for my crown or my kids cavity with them. I don’t recommend them at all. When you need them nobody will available to answer your phone. Never !!!

I was told several times that the doctor would be in “just a few more minutes,” but my wait turned into nearly two hours. Each time, staff reassured me the doctor was coming soon, yet no one was transparent about the actual delay. This felt disrespectful to my time and left me feeling misled. Patients deserve honesty and professionalism, not repeated excuses.

The condition of my smile / appearance was negatively affecting my lifestyle.  I had been wearing a mask for 2 years, just to go outside and walk my dog. My lifestyle was limited. Heartbroken by my appearance. So I contacted a couple of dentists in my area and went to an initial appointment for dentures. Both of those dental offices was a disastrous experience for me. They lied and led me on for months. Then a friend told me that the dentist at West Coast Dental Van Nuy, Dr. Vadi, is amazing. Plus, they are very close to my home. So I made an appointment. It is a very busy smaller facility. Which I thought was good. Because they seemed to be very popular. Natalie, the receptionist / front office gal is a very beautiful, inside and out young woman. With a very welcoming kind spirit and very professional in her duties. Every technician in that office is also always very kind and cordial to me. I felt very comfortable there. All of the dental technicians are also very professional at their occupation. They all have vast knowledge of their occupation and were very efficient in there care for me. Abby Mira and Alejandra My friend was absolutely correct about Dr.Vadi! She is an exceptionally experienced, super talented, highly skilled, DDS! I love her! She is all business! Very expidious and efficient! On each visit, I was cared for and done before I knew it. Then she was on the her next patient! I am a Master Carpenter by trade. So, I could tell immediately that she has very strong, highly skilled hands! Her bedside manner is serious and compassionate! She pulled a total of 10 front and back teeth in preparation for my dentures! She did not hurt me once! Not one time did she hurt me! She checked with me momentarily throughout each procedure, asking if it was hurting. I am extremely impressed by her hands-on skills. Dr. Vadi is also Brilliant as far as procedure! In my opinion, she was spot-on in diagnostics and application. Now I have my dentures and they fit perfect, the first time. I am extremely happy that I chose Dr.Vadi and the West Coast Dental, Van Nuys office! It was a wonderful experience for me! They have enhanced my quality of life! I am GRATEFUL! I will highly recommend the West Coast Dental, Van Nuys office to any and all for their dental needs. It's a very impressive place. Due to the highly skilled professional, nice staff...and the amazing dental skills of Dr.Vadi!

She did a fantastic job walking me through everything that was going to be done and really made 4 hours feel like 30 minutes with her amazing personality.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible. I only came for regular cleaning and fluoride application which is covered by my insurance twice a year. I have been doing it regularly with my previous dental facility and I know exactly how it is done. Then I received this bill charging me for $280.00 for something they never did. This dental office is a scammer!

I had to have a root canal and had to go back several times because of being denied due to the fact they kept sending wrong X-rays. I told them several times but they continued to send the wrong ones. I went to a different location and finally it was done. Now I need crowns of which X-rays and pictures were sent from this same location. The one I was going to closed so I went back. They sent X-rays from January when I was just there in May so I was denied. I was told by the manager she would resend it with no apologies I might add. I have waited now 2 weeks to find out they never sent the correct X-rays. And if you have an appointment they take others that’s app. We’re after me and I sat there for an hour. I’m warning ⚠️ don’t go to this place. They NEVER answer their phones….

She was meticulously prepared and handled my visit with professionalism and made sure I left with a smile. The wait was a bit long this visit, not something I’ve experienced before. I’m rather patient however and am grateful that they took care of me.

Experiencia negativa: Find genuine or compassionate people to perform the actual dental procedure. Once they had my insurance info their entire demeanor changed from friendly to stern. Almost borderline unprofessional after tell the female performing multiple extractions I was experience discomfort. She became very visibly irritable when she unexpectedly jabbed a needle into my mouth and told me don’t move or it might break. This made me very uncomfortable for the rest of the procedure as she proceeded to ask “well what did you expect “ fortunately there was a gentleman there to help with the procedure. AND AFTER GIVING ME ANOTHER SHOT AND LEAVING THE ROOM . I STILL proceeded to apologize for my complaints and politely asked in fear to try removing the TOOTH THAT WAS CAUSING THE INFECTION AND DISCOMFORT FIRST THE REASON FOR THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT!!! Which was removed almost effortlessly!!! I allowed her to remove the other very reluctantly also damaged. I didn’t expect a lollipop but she’s intimidating

Experiencia negativa: This Western Dental in Van Nuys has been falsely reporting an unpaid balance they say I incurred during a consultation in 2018! What’s so crazy is, even if it were accurate, which it isn’t, CA doesn’t allow medical debt to be reported to Credit agencies- though they are doing it through Portfolio Recovery. Every month the report an increase in my collections amount to all 3 credit bureaus. The reason I didn’t accept treatment after their “free consultation?” - they told me I needed extractions and all this stuff that was Completely False. Fortunately I found a great dentist and all has been well in the years since. But every time I see a Western Dental I feel bad for all the patients they have duped there. Worst place Ever!

Experiencia negativa: This is bad dental clinic for you to go, my Husband went with private health insurance, The Dentist offered him a antibacterial treatment and take note that did not do anything else, front desk took a payment from a card that is a complement of the insurance; this was in April; now the insurance needs a receipt for that transaction with the details of the service and they are making my husband to come back for the 3rd time but not providing what he needs; besides since the 1st time He went to ask for this receipt the girl at the front desk does not help; she plays like it’s not her Job.

Experiencia negativa: I came for a root canal in April, when I had insurance. My fault I didn’t come back until I was in intense pain(November) when I came back with medi-cal. When I come back, the nurse just starts poking, drilling and hurting me. Drilling the root canal and poking at it with multiple tools, until I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s not the nurses fault but the DR could have at least ordered X-rays first. Upon doing the Xray they found out the tooth they performed the root canal on, is infected and sent me on my way. I left to sob in my car and the best they could do was phone numbers on a piece of paper. I felt rushed and told to get another root canal somewhere else without any antibiotics or any other suggestions. Also just spoke to the office manager, all she could advise was maybe the doctors wording wasn’t correct. Regarding an active infection . It’s a literal infection and they should communicate they can never retreat a tooth. Waste of a dental office and time. DONT COME HERE for advanced treatments. They can’t provide help. They make it worse!

I've spent tens of thousands at this place and found some of the same services later at a fraction of the cost. I'm switching offices because I definitely cannot afford coming here and getting roped into more of their exorbitant pricing.

Experiencia positiva: Update: I called the dental office back to ask for previous rays. I was glad to hear that the previous Dentist is no longer working for that office. I spoke to the new manager, Gabriela and she was very helpful. She mentioned she is working on building the office back up. She sounded very knowledgeable and confident. Wishing her all the best. Horrible. My retired mother went for a checkup and the dentist indicated she needed a treatment plan that could cost up to $10,000. After my mother explained she wasn’t working, she had Medicare and Medical and couldn’t afford that, the dentist asked her is she had kids that can pay for it! Are you kidding me. Wow. After a second opinion, my mother didn’t need half the services that were indicated. Don’t select this office, find another one, my suggestion.

After speaking with Dr. Farnaz and her taking the time to explain the new procedure and educating me I am fully satisfied and will continue to do my business with them. Experiencia negativa: My mom has been a patient at this facility for 10 years. Have had all dental work done at the office. She recently went back for a follow up on a crown that was done a few years ago. She had paid for a porcelain veneers and seems like the lab sent the wrong one and got a metal one instead. They agreed to replace it, and has been a nightmare ever since. The only person willing to help as always is Melissa. The new doctor there (Dr. Farnaz ) I think that's how you spell her name she cemented the new crown and instead of fixing it she damaged it made a cave behind the crown and on top of that she spilled glue on her face and gave her a chemical burn. She did not even apologize to her. She was upset that she would complain that her teeth would grind and kept on filing down. Now she refuses to fix it and the so called office manager Celina Contreras will not even pick up her calls or call her back. This was a great place that looked after there patients not their wallets. Now the only thing they want is your money. Now they say she needs a bridge to charge more money. She forced to go to a new dentist and pay again to get it replaced when nothing was wrong on the first place. The regional manager has not even called her to apologize and try to fix the damage that his office did. I would never recommend this dental office to anyone again. The service is horrible. You will be cheated out of your money. Please get a second opinion before you get your procedure. The people there are cruel and only want money, they are not willing to fix what they damage. When you are talking to Celina all she does is hmm on the phone awful customer service. She has no knowledge of what the word customer service means. She is rude and unpleasant . I or my mom will never go there again!

We went three times for one crown to be placed, but the staff never comes in, they are always late when they do come. They make you wait 30+ minutes after your appointment time, and then they tell you that "the dentist can not do the job alone and the assistant just did not show up" - we had to ask off work to make it here 3 times for one thing, paid for already, and they still have not completed the procedure. PLEASE DO NO COME HERE FOR ANY DENTAL WORK.

She took care of everything even arranging me to go to another location after hours. She is absolutely amazing. Every time any issue come up Her and Dr.Sam’s are always there and very friendly.. if I could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely excellent
