Experiencia fantástica: I recently had to visit Cherrywood Dental for a dental emergency. I’ve had a problematic molar for years!! 14-15 years to be exact. I had specialist look at it over the years and each time, I never did anything about it. This tooth gave me pain and discomfort over the years and unfortunately, like many other people in my shoes, I learned to deal with it and ignored it. But one day, the tooth finally broke while eating. I went in mentally prepared for the news that it needed to come out. And Dr. Barzgar confirmed that. So I went through the consultation of the best course of action for the removal AND replacement. It’s always best to replace a missing tooth, I knew that. BUT get this, I already had the opposite molar missing because that one also broke and was removed when I was 12. And that was a very traumatic experience for me (at a different office), which is why I ignored the current problematic tooth. So I signed up to have it removed, and both molars replaced with implants. The financing and scheduling was done very quickly and smoothly. I appreciated that because I was already nervous, but doing this part made me feel like I made the best decision for myself. The day of the appointment, I parked my car and cried. I was so scared. When I got inside the office, I was greeted by everyone and the front desk all reassured me it would be okay. I even cried in the dental chair. But Dr. Barzgar talked to me through the whole thing. He told me he was going to use extra gel on me so I wouldn’t feel the needle. I closed my eyes and cried, but when he told me I should start feeling numb soon I was like “YOU’RE DONE?!” Honestly, I didn’t feel the needle. Nor that pressure you feel when the numbing liquid goes in your jaw. Although I was shaking and crying, I managed to get myself together for him to start the procedure. The implant surgery was such a breeze and quick. I’m 36 years old. And it’s sad to say it took me 24 years to face my dental fears for a painless procedure that took such a short time to get done. I’m still in shock. The extraction was a little rough because of the tooth’s condition, but even so, I was able to manage it. By the time that came, I was no longer crying and felt relaxed. Dr. Barzgar did an excellent job doing the dental procedures, but also making sure I was comfortable. And Dr. Pakpour also came into the room to check on me and make sure I was okay. She’s so nice and her caring presence made a big difference. It was all 10/10 experience. I’m really glad I made the decision to finally tackle on my dental needs. My teeth are part of my body and I like to smile and laugh and talk to people. So I need them. And I’m glad I’ll be able to regain the ones I’ve lost with the help of Dr. Barzgar.

I didn't remember who they were but I received a bill for over $300 dollars. This is not ethical and I am filing a complaint with the dental board. This is unethical and because I wouldn't follow an expensive treatment plan, they still trying to defraud me. Watch out you may be next. I see a different balance owed online and different charges by mail. Trying to close people like a used car salesperson. You say no they try to ruin your credit. Where are these people from again?

Experiencia negativa: IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, NOT THE PATIENTS!!!! The ladies at the front desks and Dr B were awesome, very friendly, nice and a very pleasant environment. However, my 15 year old son did not get a cleaning. As soon as he walked in the door they took him for X-rays and I was pressured to sign up for a loan for dental work before anything was done to his mouth shortly after. I called 2 days after the appointment to cancel the loan and they told me that I owed them $150 plus whatever was already charged to the loan. I will never go back. They are probably wonderful people but their protocols sucks.

We were taken to an office where they said the treatment would be 20k+ so we chose to only do some of the treatment. We couldn't pay for the whole thing. While trying to make our decision the saleswoman kept coming in asking if we decided. My mom trusted the woman because she spoke Spanish and was reassuring. While they were taking measurements for my mom, I overheard the staff praising the woman for convincing us to go here. I ignored it. Then whenever we tried to call them our calls went to a call center and not the actual office. We had to constantly wait for call backs. They messed up my mom's dental work and tried to book her for appointments she didn't confirm. They have called her twice confusing her with other patients. She told the person on the phone that she can't afford her dental cleaning but would like them to look at the tooth they improperly placed. Suddenly after she told them she couldn't pay they said they were busy so they could see her but she would have to wait in the lobby in between appointments. This place has good reviews and the doctors are kind but they don't care about you if you aren't going to pay. They only see you for your money.

Experiencia negativa: I have only been once to them for a regular check up and cleaning and everything went smoothly. For my second checkup and cleaning, I scheduled it via their website. Their front desk sent me a text message to confirm my appointment date and time, but somehow mixed up my name and information with another patient. When I tried to correct them, they went ALL CAPS on me - arguing back at me. That was bizarre. I was so pissed with that reception, that I ended up asking them just to cancel my appointment, because I didn't want to have to deal with their "customer service". They actually texted back basically implying - suit yourself and we don't care - LMAO. Then, an hour later I get a text message with them addressing me with another patient's name and asking me about their appointment. I texted them back to ask them to take my contact off their list and re-check their database for whoever that other poor patient was part of their mix-up. It is probably best to call in for scheduling appointments, but I'm not going back after that crazy text exchange.

Experiencia negativa: I visited Cherrywood Dental to address tooth pain, which was determined to be from a failed root canal. They recommended an extraction and discussed options to address the gaps in my teeth. While dental implants were too costly, a bridge seemed like a promising alternative. I was excited about the prospect of finally addressing the spaces in my lower front teeth, which had been a source of insecurity since childhood. After being pre-qualified through a credit screening, I began the process with high hopes. However, several issues quickly arose. The extraction of my back tooth was extremely difficult, taking nearly half the business day. My gum started to darken and turn brown/black shortly afterward, and when I raised this concern, they claimed it had always been that way, which was not true. The extraction left a large hole in my jaw that caused prolonged pain. When it was time to start the process for the crown, I was informed that my teeth would need to be drilled down, contrary to my initial understanding. Having already taken out an $8,000 loan and eager for my new look, I decided to proceed. The crown was a huge disappointment. It did not match the color of my natural teeth and was big, bulky, and uncomfortable, with a pointy edge that poked my gums. Despite regular brushing, flossing, and using a water pick, food gets trapped under the crown, causing embarrassing odor issues. This experience has made me regret my decision deeply. I went from feeling insecure about my natural teeth to being embarrassed, disgusted, and afraid of permanent halitosis. I believe that professionals in the medical and dental fields have a duty to fully inform clients of all risks and safety concerns. I now realize that Cherrywood Dental did not provide me with all the necessary information, likely to secure the sale. I strongly advise anyone considering dental work to do extensive research, ask many questions, and seek multiple opinions. My aunt had a crown placed at the same time by a different dental agency, and they provided her with comprehensive information, including potential risks and solutions, such as adding holes to the crown to prevent food from getting trapped. This level of care and transparency was sorely lacking in my experience with Cherrywood Dental. Please, take the time to educate yourself thoroughly before undergoing any medical or dental procedures. At 37, I now fear that my front teeth may rot and that I could lose them because of this poorly executed crown. Remember, self-love and acceptance are paramount. Your online review is despicable, reprehensible, awful, and very unfair to your potential customers. The manner in which you move hurriedly and / or unceremoniously to hustle unknown potential patients to grab as much money as you can while you offer /promise "A FREE FULL EXAM", this is what you use as a catch for your victims and the whole scenario is well staged and that is why the doctor interfere at the reception, if she's not hustling well. The doctor is also the one that gives estimates and monthly billing. No wonder you all push so much paperwork before your victims just to sign, sign, sign without any detailed information or knowledge of what is about to get into. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER VISITING THIS DENTAL OFFICE. Everything is centered on how much money they can grab from you. I just got a bill from Alpheon Credit and minimum payment is due. I am still astonished and wondering what's going on here.

Experiencia negativa: I came in to this location due to severe pain from a broken tooth. They made it very easy to get an appointment the next day, which was a relief and something to look forward to after being in constant pain and also being unable to eat. The front desk staff was extremely friendly upon entering. I have no complaints about them. My issue is with the dentist himself that I spoke to. I came SPECIFICALLY for my broken tooth, but in the $100 fee, they included xrays, exam and consultation. This con artist of a dentist came back to me with an extremely long list of things I needed done which exceeded $40,000. I told him that I was uninsured and would be paying out of pocket and could not afford any of these treatments except what I initially came for. He then tried to get me to sign a payment plan for a tooth extraction and UNNECESSARY bone graft procedure for over $1,600. I refused to sign this and they basically refused to help me. They told me when I have the money I can return and they will help. He also said in order to schedule an appointment for THE NEXT WEEK for the extraction, I had to pay the total UPFRONT that day. 5 days before the procedure would even be done. I also had to pay $100 before the even saw me that day. Even if I could afford all of the work needed, I would never let anyone in this office put me to sleep and do anything in my mouth while I am unconscious. They barely accept ANY medical insurance plans and just seem more money hungry than helping people. Fast forward - I went to a different dentist in the area I currently live in and went through the same exact process. I was quoted $30,000 less for the same exact work minus all the unnecessary implants and bone grafts. Even if I were to add these procedures it would not even be anywhere near $30,000. They tried to con me at Cherrywood Dental and I would NEVER recommend anyone to come here. Their prices are unreasonable and they just don't care about your well being. It's all about profit. Beware.

Experiencia negativa: before going to this clinic read my message don't go to this place they just want your money they made me get a loan of more than $8000 they did a terrible job they did a root canal on a tooth that needed to be extracted but they won't make more money They care about your health. They did a root canal on a tooth that had bacteria. They did some partials that only gave me pain in my mouth. The root canal began to hurt and the doctor wanted to open the tooth again. He gave me anesthesia and it almost killed me. I fainted and they didn't care, all they did was send me home. I was traumatized and since I didn't want to return, they didn't want to finish the work and kept the money separately, which they took from my insurance. Please be careful where you go, and the attendants are very rude, they don't care. They like you to ask them anything and the doctor will work for you for 10 minutes and go to work on another patient, find a better place before you go to this place. The only thing they care about is your money.
