Experiencia negativa: This dentist is a scam!!!!! She charged 180.00 for some useless technique not approved by my insurance. Sad to see this dentist is only out to steal money from people. Support honest people but this isn't one of them. Worst experience ever. Find some integrity in what you do and at least be honest. I consulted with a few other family/friends by writing this to confirm her scam technique. Stay away!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I bought a Groupon for an Invisalign treatment and love the results! The staff is friendly, Dr. Ray is very knowledgeable, it’s easy to get to and there’s free parking. I will be coming back for my regular teeth cleanings in the future. Thanks Dr. Ray!

Experiencia negativa: I went for years for deep cleaning, on may 2026 it was the last time I will ever step foot to that Clinc. It most disappointing experience I had. I felt like I walked into a retail store where the sales person trying to push you products you don't need aggressively. When I sat in the room before starting the procedure as usual a man with a doctor gown walked in and by just looking inside my mouth for a few minutes ( No X-Ray Done) and suggested a treatment, I refused.. He went on and ordering an antibiotic injection I refused, he went on and on suggesting aggressively using a fear tactic if I don't do it it's dangerous and so on… he would not stop.. I felt uncomfortable to the point I had to get up and leave the room, and complained in the front desk, they seem to know this problem but you can tell they can't do nothing about it. I left the clinic so angry and disappointed that they turn to into greedy place where they see every customer as a cash cow. Very sad. This used to be my favorite dental Clinc till they turned into a retail store with aggressive and intimidating salespeople.

Experiencia negativa: The doctor was kind and the whitening results were noticeably good, but unfortunately I would not return. My appointment was running over 30 minutes behind, which is whatever, but the whitening light that sits directly up to your mouth was visibly dirty. At first I thought it was staining on the equipment, but I wiped part of it to see, and it was actually leftover makeup from a previous patient. That’s incredibly unhygienic for something used in such close contact to your mouth. Cleanliness and sanitation are a non-negotiable for me. (Pic after wiping some off to see what it was)

In the end, they just applied some cream and that was it. Felt more like dealing with sales people than dental professionals.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist is a SCAMMER!!! He is a crook! I could write a whole book on how awful my experiences have been here…. My first visit he told he that if I go to the bank today and take out 7k cash, he would do the 8k procedures for a discount… that was SO weird, why would a dentist want me to take out 7k of cash? Bc he is a scammer…. Not only that but his crown only lasted a few months and now it’s cracked, and I have to get it replaced for another 2k (from another dentist bc I would never go back here!!!) I have an ongoing list about how bad his office is— cutting my lip while cleaning my teeth, not giving me glasses while taking out my braces wire and getting things in my eyes, drilling my teeth before the numbing kicked in and sending my whole body into shock causing me to cry—this happened multiple times… having his dental assistant drill on my teeth (I am pretty sure that is illegal!!)… he is an absolute awful dentist and human, and should not be trusted. I would RUN!! Do not even step foot in this office… the ladies working at the front counter even know he is a crook. OH!! And I forgot to mention, he drilled THREE of my cavities way too deep, and I was in pain for a month, waiting for the crowns, almost drove to the ER several times because of the excruciating pain, and then I was in so much pain he said I need a root canal, and the root canal specialist said that he couldn’t believe how deep the drilling on my teeth were, he said the root was fully exposed! He said no wonder I was in so much pain! He didn’t only do this on one tooth, this was on THREE TEETH!!! So on top of the 7k cash that I gave him, I had to pay 3k more for the root canals that he caused by drilling too deep on my cavities. This man truly belongs in jail, especially after reading some of these other reviews.

I got a great intro offer online so I called to set up my appt for zoom teeth whitening with sensodyne which was fast and easy, the reception warm and friendly. I was so pleased I have already set up my next appt with Dr. Ray (did I mention he's adorable and delightful?) Oh! And plenty of parking in their lot too! Bonus

Experiencia negativa: I came here for a regular first visit and cleaning after an insurance change - nothing unusual. After doing a few x-rays, they told me that I would need a deep cleaning and antibiotics applied to multiple teeth. I informed them that I had been going to the same dentist regularly for years, take great care of my teeth, and had never been asked to do a deep cleaning or have antibiotics applied anywhere. They pushed back multiple times, having different staff come to try to sell me on this $540 procedure, while being vague about the benefits or why exactly I needed it. I explained multiple times that I just wanted a basic cleaning with $0 copay, as covered by my insurance. They told me they could not provide that and that I was welcome to leave if I didn’t want the more expensive option. The whole thing felt incredibly sleazy, and as they continued to push back and try to sell me, I felt very uneasy. I wanted to like this place, but I promise you I will never be back. Do yourself a favor and avoid these salesmen.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars seeing TMJ specialists and Botox to treat my TMJ. I am about 4 months into the year long treatment with Clear Correct and my jaw pain has reduced 50%. I’m so glad I decided to take Dr. Partovy’s advice!

Experiencia negativa: Please Beware – Misleading Practices I scheduled a first-time consultation for what I expected to be a routine teeth cleaning under my Anthem Dental Insurance. During the consultation, I was told the cleaning could be completed the same day and would include plaque/tartar removal, a fluoride varnish, an antibiotic gel, and a gingival irrigation. This was presented as though it were the standard cleaning procedure that I requested that is fully covered by my plan. To my shock, I was billed $250. The actual cleaning (plaque/tartar removal called “prophylaxis”) was covered, but the fluoride varnish, antibiotic gel, and gingival irrigation were not, and I was charged full price for all these “extra treatments”. At every step, I clarified with the staff that I was there for a routine cleaning and confirmed they accepted my insurance. Yet, I was misled into unnecessary add-on procedures disguised as part of a normal cleaning. When I voiced my frustration, the dentist defended the charges, claiming the extras were “necessary” because they “promote remineralization.” To me, it is clear this office relies on patient misunderstanding to push costly, non-essential treatments. To make matters worse, my housemate visited the very next day for his own routine cleaning and had the same experience. He was pressured into the same expensive add-ons—this time totaling $400. When he refused, the dentist suddenly offered a “first-time discount,” which only further highlights how arbitrary and predatory these charges are. Yes, patients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage, but it is unethical for a dental office to present optional treatments as routine, mislead patients, and exploit trust for profit. This experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. I would not recommend this business.

My crown continually falls out, then they say I need another multiple thousand dollar procedure. And they overcharged me and my insurance.

Experiencia negativa: I have never been to a dentist leaving with my neck and tshirt absolutely soaking wet because the assistant didn't know what he was doing with the rinse. I also had to yell at him to stop pushing my chair up forward because my face slammed into the light directly in front of me. I had to wait like 10 min after a video for the dentist to come back to me, only after I flagged the nurse to go get him. It's just not a professional environment.

Not only did I have to wait over an hour past my appointment to see the dentist, he tried to upcharge me on everything, belittle me, insult me, and make me feel horrible about my teeth or any questions I had. These positive reviews must be fake. I could keep going but just STAY AWAY.

The relief I had from treatment was amazing. I could not find such a great dentist before. One issue was never completely resolved or taken care of in one or few visits always had complications in the past. That's what I love with this place. I'm completely satisfied with the work done and the pain was very controlled the whole time. Would recommend to anyone hiding from their dentist!

Experiencia negativa: I did not quite feel welcomed when I got into the office first time but it wasn't a big deal. A lady who did my teeth cleaning was very kind and knew what to do. After the cleaning, a dentist asked me to schedule a follow up appointment in 3 month and continued to charge more for other treatments that I did not know exactly what they were in advance. I refused to pay anything more but just got an appointment. I even asked a receptionist about why this dentist guy trying to charge more for appointment but she did not have any answers. So, I left there and don't think I would go to this place ever again.

I broke my Crown (Not originally done at this office ) and Doctor Ray Partovy was very helpful and made it seem effortless. He told me step by step what he had to do and did it with Precision. I had a Temporary crown in no time and I’m scheduled to go back in two weeks for my Permanent Crown. His work is guaranteed and I was very pleased with my whitening Treatment. I also discussed my Invisalign issues with him and he proposed a new path after looking at all the issues that were affecting my teeth and jaw. Experiencia negativa: I feel like a lot of these reviews are fake. I’ve never had such a neglecting experience at a dentist before and I’ve been here a few times. I just got a cleaning and tarter was left on multiple teeth and also the dentist never even came in to check work afterwards. This place feels like they just want your money. You definitely have to speak up if you need the doctor and have questions because he won’t come in and see you otherwise.

The doctor takes her time to listen and provide clear assessments at each visit. She provides treatment options with recommendations so I can form my decisions. Her attention to details is incredible, and she goes out of her way to inflict as little pain and discomfort as possible during a procedure. I completely have trust in Dr. Tamara more than I ever could with previous dentists. Experiencia fantástica: I first want to say that I am not a fan of the dentist. So much so that it has been a couple of years since I've been. I found Design Dental through my insurance and have had THE BEST experience. Dr. Ray was so informative and upfront about the priorities of the dental work that needed to be done along with laying everything out so clearly. His transparency built so much trust with me regarding the practice. I had to have a crown put on and a deep cleaning. Both of those are not pleasant, yet the staff was so personal and engaging. They never once made me feel like a patient, but a family member! They truly have changed my mind regarding dentist appointments and I'm grateful for their exceptional work.

They have alleviated some discomfort, but overall my experience and the service at this office has been the best I’ve received in my dental history. The Dr always answers my questions and worries and I so appreciate their support and transparency. Would recommend! :)
