Experiencia negativa: It took them over two hours just to create a treatment plan, while they spent only 2–3 minutes actually examining the patient. In my experience, they also did not seem to have enough experience, yet they charge significantly more than other dentists. For example, dental X-rays normally cost around $100–$200, but they billed the insurance company more than $1,300 and then asked for over $14,000 out of pocket for my child’s dental treatment. For a minor tooth issue that, in my opinion, did not require a root canal, they recommended a root canal. It felt like unnecessary treatment driven by the desire to make more money. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and consulting another experienced, trustworthy, and honest dentist before agreeing to expensive dental treatment. It could save you thousands of dollars and help you avoid unnecessary procedures. That’s exactly what I did to my 11 years old child.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE! They will try and upcharge you for literally everything. They will bully you into paying for treatments you do not need. All without being clear that your insurance will not cover any of it. They forced me to split my appointment into two appointments. I paid in full for both at the first one. When I went back the second time they said I owed more for the treatments that day. And I asked to see in detail why which they wouldn’t show me. Finally they did and they had added back on services I had declined my first visit that also insurance would not cover. I honestly suspect that employees here work on commission. This business is not ethically run.

Experiencia fantástica: I hesitated writing this review. If you read to the end, I’ll tell you why. I had THE BEST teeth cleaning I’ve ever had. My dental hygienist, Cameron, did an amazing job. It wouldn’t surprise me if she was at the top of her class. Now, having a deep planar cleaning is not something I look forward to. It can be very painful as the hygienist scrapes and cleans deep under the gum line. But Cameron made my procedure painless. She explained everything she was doing and was thorough and knowledgeable. After applying the anesthetic, she went to work meticulously cleaning every bit of plaque from my teeth. My teeth felt like they were coated with Teflon after she applied the fluoride varnish. So, why was I hesitant in writing this review? I’m afraid that everyone who reads this will book their cleaning with Cameron, and she’ll get so busy that I won’t be able to get an appointment with her. Nobody asked me to write this review. I was so impressed by this young woman that I felt she deserved to be recognized. You’re the best, Cameron!

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunatly, I feel the same way as the patients listing their similar concerns. The doctors themselves and technicians were great. But as a new patient who moved to Corona and wanted to try to start a new dentist office, they exhausted my dental insurance plan. I have been going to the dentist in my former city and never did I pay that much for procedures. I had a crown for the first time done here and they asked me to complete yye next procedure also similar to partial crown. First time I paid about 700$ , the second timr 950$. This was not expected in my plan. I wasnt sure why all of this happen. And now, i am feeling unhappy about my experience there because I was not told in advance what tests will be conducted as a new patient. Even if the dental care itself was smooth. I decided not to remove my wisdom teeth because now it costs way too much and i dont have any room to do it with insurance coverege. This never happen before.

Experiencia negativa: I’m very disappointed with my experience at this dental office. The billing practices have been frustrating and confusing from the start. They incorrectly billed services using my orthodontic benefits, which caused unnecessary issues and delays. I had to spend a significant amount of time calling my insurance, the dental office, and even the orthodontic office just to get things corrected so my daughter could receive the care she needed. Now, I’m being told I need an inlay that will cost over $400 out of pocket, even though I have two PPO plans that would cover a filling. When I questioned this and asked them to verify coverage, I never received a call back. Overall, the lack of communication, billing errors, and failure to follow up have made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this office based on how they handle insurance and patient concerns.

You get the permanent within a day or two which is great! I get my teeth cleaned and my gums treated for periodontal disease. I highly recommend Bedford Dental.

I’ve had extensive work done recently with two root canals, and three new crowns done by both above mentioned doctors, who worked together to answer my questions and meet my concerns with treatment and some post-op discomfort I was having, all of which were resolved with phone calls and swift rechecks and follow-ups! It is clear they have compassion for their profession and care deeply for their patients. Experiencia negativa: Went to Bedford Modern Dentistry a couple of months ago to perform the basic cleaning covered by my insurance. First thing they did was tens of x-rays and unnessesary 3D images (billed to my insurance) that serve nothing but a dental plan you never asked for (for future business). Their goal is to exploit the patient by trying to convince them to accept procedures they don’t need, even after they clearly refuse. I ended up paying $700 for deep cleaning which was ridiculous!

Experiencia negativa: This clinic is purely money-driven. They push crowns and expensive treatments even when there is no medical need. I needed a simple cosmetic filling on a front tooth with no decay, but they tried to force crowns for $1,700. When I refused, they intentionally placed a very thin, poor-quality filling and openly admitted it would fall off soon — all to push me back for crowns. No honesty, no ethics, no concern for patients. Avoid at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT go here. While the facility looks nice, my experience was extremely concerning. I have UnitedHealthcare premium coverage and have never had to pay out of pocket for routine care. However, I was charged $35 for a “fluoride cleaning.” After confirming directly with my insurance, I was told this charge was not valid and should not have been billed—essentially a fraudulent charge by the office. In addition, the staff was rude and unprofessional, and there were serious privacy issues. Patient x-rays with full names and birthdates were left visible on computer screens for other patients to see, which is a clear HIPAA violation. They attempted to upsell my husband on extensive and expensive procedures (laser gum treatment, a root canal, etc.), estimating a bill of over $3,000 AFTER our premium coverage. He chose to leave and get a second opinion from a trusted dentist, who confirmed he only needed a standard cleaning and one filling—both fully covered by insurance. This was the most unsettling experience I’ve ever had with a medical office. I encourage others to read the lowest-rated reviews as many describe similar situations. It seems like all the 5 star reviews are fake/have been incentivized to hide all of the true commentary here. I will be filing a complaint with the state medical board, as others have also done.

I was extremely nervous but as soon as I finished my check in with front desk, i was calm because I was greeted with kindness and patience. Took X-rays and explained to me their process of the cleaning based on the health of my teeth. Not a cookie cutter cleaning. Which I really appreciated because my teeth aren’t like everyone else’s. Honesty and patience goes along way, especially with something that can make my teeth in better shape than I arrived. Everything’s clean and organized.. and an easy flowing vibe. Everyone’s so kind and gentle even when making conversation. I’ve already brought my child here for her first check up and loved it so I came back for myself! I already recommended this to family and friends.

Experiencia negativa: Writing this review in hopes that I save someone from potentially paying thousands of dollars for a procedure they don’t need. I changed dentists because I moved and idk if it’s because I don’t have dental insurance or they can sense that I am an easy target but at my first appointment they basically said I needed a crown that was on the verge of becoming so bad I’ll need a root canal. Also said my teeth were not great. (I’ve been going to the dentist twice a year my whole life and take a lot of pride in cleaning my teeth). 6 months later I go for a cleaning and they say I now need a root canal and need another crown. I have no pain, and they based this off of photos, NOT an xray. They were pushing me HARD on getting these done asap. And ended up not even cleaning my teeth because I now needed a “deep clean” Wanted another opinion so I asked my trusted dentist for 13 years what he thought after scheduling another appt with him. And basically says “Your teeth are great, absolutely no sign of root canal or crowns”. Please get a second opinion if you get news like this that seems out of the ordinary. I saved myself $6-10k. Seems borderline criminal, and I’m sparing everyone of more suspicious details. I’ll be driving an hour to my old dentist from now on. Giving two stars because they cleaned my teeth well the first time but honestly I just get scammy vibes.

Not sure how they could run behind when he was the first appointment then was given a ridiculous quote for 20k in dental work. This is laughable. They only care about upselling and will find a way to get you for anything. Don’t sign up for their dental plan it’s a scam you pay $100 to get “discounts”. But it’s just a way to get extra money.

Experiencia negativa: Edit: Initially speaking I was very impressed by this office and all of their more modern technology and claims of compassion for their patients. After deciding to move forward with the treatment plan that involved what we both agreed would most likely come down to a root canal, this dentist performed treatments on me that left me in pain. A week later they attempted to glue on my permanent crowns even when I expressed concerns for needing to see the specialist. The dentist informed me that the specialist wouldn’t be in again until next month! I would have to wait a month with two temporary crowns unable to move forward and risking infection spreading to my blood stream. The dentist knew the strong likelihood of a root canal referral yet chose to move forward drilling into my teeth knowing I could very well risk infection and be in continued pain for a month? This did this work electively, not because I was already in any kind of pain. I have now found a specialist to see me early next week. Now, since I prepaid for my treatments to include $2,600 worth of crowns I have to hassle with this office to try to get a refund for items that I already paid for but will not be used. They kept me waiting 2 hours to go over all this. The receptionist complained about my kids and suggested she had been babysitting them for me. Well, the appointment should’ve taken 30 minutes no two hours, my very well behaved kids got a bit antsy and she corrected them about touching the blinds on the window. I’m realizing this is a corporation with no care about the individual, just seeking maximum profits. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone after seeing their true colors. This is such a nice office. The staff are all very helpful and compassionate. The dentist is very skilled and also kind. They have all the latest technology and will explain everything in detail. Highly recommend.

They clearly have advanced dental technology, offered insight on my dental health that my other dentist never recommended, and created a positive and comfortable dental experience for me. I don’t know if people say they look forward to going to their dentist, but I can definitely say I will look forward to coming back in six months for my next cleaning. This is truly a solid choice for good dental care.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment for my annual exam and quarterly cleaning. Unfortunately, I left without receiving the cleaning because the doctor insisted on a 'deep cleaning' that cost over $2300, with $738 out of pocket. Despite my request for the standard cleaning covered by my insurance, which I've always received, they refused. It felt like they were trying to pressure me into accepting their costly option. All of this happened after they told me how great my teeth looked with no cavities and minimal issues. I will NOT be returning to this office. Update: I received a second opinion from a dentist office down the street and they said that everything looked great and all I needed was a normal cleaning. Shame on Bedford Modern Dentistry's doctor for trying to "sell me" something that was not needed. BEWARE!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a first time patient. Everyone was so polite so kind. I had a hard time hearing because I ran out of hearing aid batteries. I kept apologizing and they kept saying don’t worry we’ll repeat anything we need to repeat. Dr Roquiz. was very patient and kind Explained everything he would be doing. The hygienist Monique gave me the shots again. She gives great shots. I hardly felt the needle, and I was terrified when I first came in. Allison, the assistant Stacy, Serena, Andrea, were so kind And put me at ease. I would highly recommend this dental office

Experiencia fantástica: I was helped by Allison and received a root canal by Dr. Alkatib that was completely painless and done in a very timely manner. I used to be afraid of the dentist, but after several visits to Bedford Modern Dentistry, I am no longer afraid of dental work. Specially Dr Roquiz, andrea and ofcourse Ashley, first time here and they treat me w extra care, ashley is amazing, she def gave me sympathy for my anxiety and helped me thru my deep cleaning. Experiencia fantástica: My hygienist Monique was AMAZING. She was very thorough and gentle during my deep clean. I am terrified of the dentist and everyone made me feel at ease and comfortable. I forgot the doctors name who helped me but he was very efficient, fast and gentle as well. Overall, great experience and I will be back!

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with my first visit. Not the best news for me but everyone was very nice. The staff was happy, laughing and singing. It was very upbeat. The dentist explained everything in detail and gave me all my options. The office was very clean. I will be doing all my dental work here.

Experiencia fantástica: I called this practice because I was in pain. I wanted to see the Dr. as soon as possible. Sarena answered the phone and was super friendly. She gave me an appt. early the next day. The Dr. is very knowledgeable and treated my tooth. Very happy with this dentistry! I recommend this place for their friendly service and quick response.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment for a 6-month check up and cleaning and, honestly, not the best experience. My apt was at 1:30, and by 2:30 I still hadn't been seen by a hygienist or dentist. I had X-rays taken, but they never told me if I had cavities or not. Instead, I was told about all the more advanced work that needed to be done to my teeth which of course are not fully covered by insurance. After 1.5 hours I left without even getting a cleaning and had to come back later that week for the cleaning (again, they never told me anything about cavities, but I declined the advanced procedures.) I had my x-rays sent to a different dentist who immediately identified cavities in the x-rays that modern dentistry took. Why would modern dentistry not address cavities during a cleaning? Allison at the front desk was very friendly and nice and the only reason this isn't a 1 star review.

Experiencia negativa: they will try to upsell you on services you do not need and when you tell them NO you just want the basic / routine service you came in for, they will say NO you can only get the upsell service. I came in for a routine exam and basic cleaning. They told me although I have no cavities, I need a laser deep clean. Before I let them get started I asked how long would it take and how much would it cost? Luckily I asked because it would be $2,000 with $800 out of pocket for me!! I told them no, just give me the basic cleaning and I’ll go ask for a second opinion before they need to do that. They told me I couldn’t get the basic cleaning that’s already covered by my insurance. The only option was the $2,000 cleaning. They couldn’t even tell me why I couldn’t get the basic cleaning. I reported them to my insurance provider and the appropriate licensing boards for INSURANCE FRAUD and requested them to launch a full investigation. I sent in all the documentation, and the fraud investigators already called me within a few hours. The same thing happened to my husband a few months back, but I didn’t take it seriously. It’s now happened to the both of us and who knows who else they are also scamming?!?

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Roquiz and the entire staff are great! Dr. Roquiz and his assistant was very concerned I was comfortable with no pain the entire time. The explanation of what I needed to have done, was very clear. I really appreciated the finance person coming in explaining cost and coverages. NO pressure at all.. I would definitely recommend.

And by “outstanding dentists” I mean excellent in skill, very positive, kind and efficient staff & stress free dentist office experiences. Having relocated, I hadn't yet found a local dentist who met the same standard I found Bedford Modern Dentistry. It was all I'd hoped and prayed for and more! It began with kind, warm & efficient assistance over the phone when I made my first appointment At my first visit, I was welcomed by a friendly, professional staff who greeted me with a smile. The dentist, Dr. Roquiz, greeted me soon after I was situated in my room to make sure I had no concerns before my cleaning. Annabelle, who took my x-rays, was as sweet apple pie with sensitivity & alertness to the discomfort that dental x-rays cause willing to pause if ever needed. Jasmine, my hygienist was pristine in her care, cleaning my teeth with precision, tenderness & attentiveness. And Dr. Roquiz was AAAAWESOME. He's caring, a good listener, and superb in his craft. He understands that important factor that patients are humans first, so you must take time to answer questions & explain, not just work on them like a mechanic approaching a car. Also worth mention is their technology!! Having "Modern Dentistry" in their title is well suited for this establishment. I'd never seen such cutting edge technology. I meant to post this months ago but just having had my 2nd visit, I realized I’d forgotten. For this visit, I had more serious work needed which I’d never had before. I was extremely nervous but again their staff—Stacey, Nancy & Shadie and Dr. Roquiz—was stellar!!!!! Every aspect of the visit was so comforting with special care given to me every step of the way. Both visits, I left with a huge smile on my face & gratitude in heart for care that didn't feel money-driven, where I didn't feel like a number, where the office was clean & where the staff enjoys their work, and they respect their patients and each other.
