Experiencia negativa: I don’t think I would return to this office unless i had to. During my last visit i had an appointment, to which i showed up on time, and had to wait an hour to actually be seen. I felt like there was a scheduling error or procedure issue that was not honestly relayed. Had it been, i would have been more understanding. Once put in a room i waited another 30 min until I finally I decided to leave. During a pervious visit one of the doctors asked if i ever use my teeth to open bottles. I find that offensive as i feel other patients would be asked a more relatable question - such grinding teeth. I feel that my appearance was being judged as a person who would do such harmful behavior to oneself.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Nappoly and Holly were extremely helpful with doing my crowns and my fillings on my teeth, i brought up minor problems i was having and they immediately addressed it. They constantly made me feel reassured and made sure i was numb during the process which was huge for me.

Also, was mis leading when form of payment wasn’t aware we had to pay it would be nice to know if we knew before hand. Disclaimer, not the first time we been in this situation.

Experiencia fantástica: I am someone who isn’t very thrilled with coming to the dentist, it’s not a joyful experience for me, not to mention I was a pt at my past dentist for 15 yrs so trying a new dentist was worrisome and stressful. I must say the office staff is extremely friendly, from the front office staff, to the back. Holly - she is a joy to be around. She is funny, sweet, kind and made my last visit a great one. We talked and laughed, she was so calming for the soul. Dr. Nappoly is the sweetest. Her smile and eyes brightened up the room, she is friendly and very informative. I feel very grateful to have found a dental office that I feel comfortable at.

Experiencia fantástica: Jonathan, their hygienist, has been cleaning my teeth for about 10 times now. Whether I’m the first or last patient he’s always thorough and does all steps consistently. He doesn’t rush like the others, he makes sure I don’t have any concerns, and he gives practical advice to help me.

Experiencia negativa: My dentist here in Washington literally fixed these peoples messed up work for FREE due to how HIGH my tooth was filled was giving me jaw issues for months. My dentist said she drilled it down and it STILL needed more drilling.. PLEASE Stop numbing patients if not needed, since you cannot make your own judgement of a leveled tooth. Thank GOD for orthodontists and dentists who attended great schooling. Jesus.

Experiencia negativa: I’m always waiting over an hour over my scheduled time. They push X-rays every vist and tell you always need a deep clean that’s cost hundreds of dollars every time something needs to be done. They always don’t have the material your insurance requires and push some other material that insurance doesn’t cover. My husband got an infection after work that was done and they didn’t even want to give him the antibiotics. Every time I go they quote my thousands of dollars for work “I need” to get done. I don’t think they really are there for patient care. Is about how much they can over charge and get money. It’s horrible .

Experiencia fantástica: Desert Valley Dental has been incredible. From my cleaning to my wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Shabaz Sandhu was amazing. My surgery went completely smooth despite me being nervous to be put under anesthesia. I am three days post op and I feel amazing. Thank you to the lovely staff and Dr. Sandhu for taking great care of me.

But read carefully other reviews and take note that many reviews make glowing statements but add the disclaimer know your insurance and be watchful because they upsell. This was my experience. As a newly arrived resident to the High Desert I was looking for honesty and not THE UPSELL. As a retired senior with a fixed income I don’t have extra money to spare. When I went there I basically only wanted to have a crown re-cemented and check them out. I was looking for a dentist near my new address. I was sold things that were not necessity. To top everything off the crown that they re-cemented came off again and when I tried to get in for emergency visit to take care of it before I travel I was unable to get an appointment. This is despite the fact that they oversold me several treatment that could have waited that I will be paying off for quite sometimes. What they got was quite a bit of my emergency savings. I went in looking for caring and honest, not what I got even though I got lots of smiles with pleasant greetings. I would much rather my clinician listen to my needs and respect the boundaries of what I ask for. I won’t be returning because what I am feeling is HAD. I have no trouble with loyalty when I am viewed as a valued patient and not just dollars. In the future I WILL pay closer attention to what my insurance covers and I will decline more pricey services that are not a necessity. I am however stuck with paying off a bill for more pricey services which could have been covered more effectively with what my insurance covered. Yes I found the staff friendly and professional but I need to know, when I spend my money some place my clinician will care, listen to my need and not UPSELL. Sorry you lost me I won’t be back. If you read this BE ADVISED if you choose this Dentist you are on your own. know exactly what your insurance will cover and watch out for the upsell. I was GOT.

They also were very patient and thorough in explaining my procedures and I found them to be very knowledgeable and caring. Because of this, I highly recommend this office. Experiencia negativa: It was my first time there, and my entire visit took a little over two hours for just an xray and exam. They didn't have time to do the cleaning in that visit. They really try to upsell, so be very careful. When I requested a print out, I saw that they were planning to bill my insurance for a deep cleaning, when the deep cleaning was never even recommended or mentioned to me by the dentist or the hygenist. Upon following up with my regular dentist, they informed me that I didn't need a deep cleaning, just a regular cleaning.

The doctor was very thorough explaining the needed and recommended treatment options. Asusena did great at interpreting and made my mother feel comfortable! The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Linda was very knowledgeable and did great at explaining our payment/treatment options, she too was very kind.

They will try to have you get the more expensive material, but you have the choice. They’re nice about it if you choose to go the other route, so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Shoutout to Katie! She’s always so friendly and helpful with any questions I have. I wish I knew the other person’s name, but she has taken my xrays (wears glasses, blonde hair) she’s very kind as well and deserves a shout out too! Overall, great experience.

Experiencia negativa: We had a bad experience with my mother she has Medicare and they were charging her over 13,000 dollars for her teeth and she got a crown and they didn't kill the nerve and now she's been having tooth ache and charge her 1,000 something to fix it not a good place to get your treatment I don't recommend it very pricey and they don't care to help.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this place like the plague. They over charge you,the consumer on TOP of billing your insurance. I put off most of the work they recommended, called my insurance to verify my out of pocket. They quoted me over $5,000 out of my pocket, after going through codes with insurance it would have been max 1500. Same coding with 2 different prices? Went to a LEGIT dentist and most of the work they wanted to do wasnt necessary, even paying cash Im saving myself money. Oh and don't bother responding with "please contact our office" y'all run a crooked business and should be ashamed of yourself.

Experiencia negativa: Had to update this review because I went to this dentist because it was closer to home and the dentist there said I needed a deep cleaning with the laser which would’ve cost me $270 so I wanted a second opinion went back to my original dentist and they said all I needed was a regular cleaning. Can’t believe that this place was trying to scam me. Thankfully I went back to my original dentist.

Now my insurance pays for everything but anesthesia when removing widlsdom teeth. They were try to change me over $2000 for them to to remove my sons wisdom teeth. Considering I had mine removed prior to covid. They are a rip off.
