Experiencia negativa: Front desk person was kind and informed me about what my appt consisted of. Queminh does such a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth, and is very, very kind. I always enjoy my appts at bright now! Reading the current reviews, and how they try to “upsell” is inaccurate. You simply tell them you’re not interested and they take it right off, with no complaints. Edit: as much as I wish I could’ve kept this review positive, something has changed my view. Usually bright now does a decent job at displaying what they will charge. Recently they added fluoride as part as my care. I thought this was odd because I even knew that I had aged out of that. They never mentioned the extra cost, and they said they had no idea it was going to get denied. I can’t say I have a clue about how claims work, but I feel like it should've mentioned it before continuing with the fluoride. Not sure I’ll come back to bright now since I feel slightly tricked by the procedure and money grab.

Experiencia negativa: I went to this office in December 2025 for a consultation. After 2 months of back and forth, they were unable to help me so I sought and found treatment elsewhere. 6 months after my original visit, I received a bill for services that were not performed. It seems this franchised outfit is more interested in collecting money than they are about client welfare. I would not recommend them

Experiencia negativa: Maybe get a 2nd opinion. They said I had 5 cavities that needed to be drilled and filled. They didn't even clean my teeth before making that assessment. I went to my usual dentist accross town. They cleaned my teeth first and then took a look. According to them I only have one baby cavity. They prescribed me a treatment plan to see if we can arrest the cavity and probably will not even have to get it filled. So yeah maybe a 2nd opinion.

Experiencia negativa: The constant attempts at up sales gets old. $50+ for a look in your mouth for a cancer screen. Laser treatment for gums that they've already told me would do me no good my pockets are to deep. I was told that my next cleaning needed to be a deep cleaning costing $180. And if I couldn't afford it to call and cancel my appointments but that I couldn't get my regular cleaning until I did then they tried to explain how it was best not to get a cleaning until I could afford the deep cleaning. I think I'm going to find a private practice that's not part of a larger corporate structure. It's clear to me that the pressure to bring in revenue is greater than the needs of their patients.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve never had a good experience at this dentist office. Front desk and your dentist will have poor communication skills. I would recommend any other smaller dentist office DO NOT GO HERE. They do not take pride in their work. They are affordable SOMETIMES and that’s the only positive. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Experiencia negativa: Consistently very poor communication about the plan of care and what comes next. Nearly every appointment involves surprises when we thought we knew what was happening next. Appointment times are often hard to get, not in a preferred time frame and usually changed by the company. The actual orthodontist often doesn't even make an appearance when she should. I just learned at this last appointment that right now dental does not polish off the material left on teeth from clear aligners or braces which means I will have to seek another orthodontist to complete the care and get the rest of the material off my teeth so they do not feel like sandpaper or really dirty all of the time. This company has no business offering orthodontic care of any kind giving the experiences we have had for the last couple years. They are just too inconsistent, trying to cut too many corners and not available enough to provide the kind of care necessary for orthodontics.

Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional. They pushed a deep cleaning on me and mumbled out a reason why. I’m very good about brushing and flossing and have never needed a deep cleaning. They also bumped the Xray machine into me twice, and were coming in and out of the room trying to locate their team. I ended up leaving with no cleaning and a lesson on trusting my gut as I saw many poor reviews but decided to go because my insurance doesn’t cover me at many places.

Experiencia negativa: I am so angry right now! Bright Now! lost two customers today! The disrespectful X-ray tech Melanie guaranteed we didn't make it past the first stage! As I finished paperwork in the lobby, Melanie called my wife back to start X-rays! Few minutes later, my wife came storming out in the lobby telling me to get my stuff holding back tears! When I went to the front desk to get my license to leave I saw Melanie behind the receptionist throw my wife's license on the desk and smirk! It was then that I knew what and who the problem was! When the dust settled and I learned what happened, it was tech Melanie who almost acted repulsed to deal with my wife. She was absolutely unprofessional and I am boiling to learn how she made my wife feel! I know that my wife is usually a strong person, but when she goes to a place trying to correct an issue never should she be made to feel that way! I told her to avoid these business owned by these private equity firms (Smile Brands) cause they don't hold their employees to any standard and you are just a number to the (PE).Absolutely appalling that I have to find another place cause the techs believe they can treat people that way!!

Experiencia negativa: Beware this corporate dental office, they told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work, including a crown on a tooth that has NO decay or cavities in it to "stabilize it for when you're older" I stopped going there and got a second opinion, my new dentist actually laughed and rolled her eyes when I told her this. I'm fact, every time I left this office I was told I needed a bunch of work done, which I didn't do, only to be told the next time that I needed a bunch of different work done with no mention of the other work I supposedly needed. These people will try to get as much money from you as possible. Find a nice small dental office and go there instead.

I believe her name was Melanie (technician) was so nice and helpful from exrays to providing info and explanations. Then on to Dr Iman who was also friendly and informative to all my questions. Lastly was Laura, my new hygientist who was so friendly and concerned for my comfort as I was having a deep cleaning… totally painless! I am happy to say that I am so happy to find such a great place!

Experiencia negativa: This place is a scam. I had an appointment for a cleaning last week. On their consent form they put estimated balance due, $56. I asked why. They said because I need a "Deep cleaning" & my insurance doesn't cover that. I said I was only there for the cleaning my insurance covers & crossed out the additional charge. They x-rayed me & the dentist looked in my mouth for 15 seconds & said I was fine. The hygienist poked my gums & said again I needed the Deep cleaning. Again, I said No, I'm not having that. I explained I'm terminally ill, and am not having additional services because I'm not going to be here much longer. The hygienist looked me right in the eye & told me I really need to take care of my teeth. I was flabbergasted! She refused to do a regular cleaning, which I then found out consists of a water pik treatment & polishing only. I had just done that at home myself! I said I'm out of here. Then they tried to charge for a cancelation, when they refused to do their job!! Unbelievable. I reported them to my insurance & I'm also reporting them to the State Dental Board. They need to be shut down. DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

First time at a dental office to and they could not communicate they kept saying I had a stroke when I did not. They want medical clearance and no o e can explain for what!

From the ease of getting an emergency appointment to scheduling a cleaning the staff are very professional yet very down to earth. They accept my insurance and I’ve been very happy with the prices. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a dental office.

Experiencia negativa: Cons: - Two 45-minute waits; 2.5 hours total for a cleaning and to get two fillings. - Extremely rough tooth cleaning; felt like they were trying to handle large livestock, not perform a delicate dental cleaning operation. That was both more uncomfortable than I'm used to, and didn't feel like they were giving the care to my cleaning that I'd like. - Extremely uncomfortable process of filling my cavities; I don't expect this to be fun, but I've had fillings before, and none were like this. My mouth felt sore for hours, as soon as the local anesthetic started to wear off. - They seemed poorly prepared: during the filling, the batteries died on two separate implements, they ran out of water, and they needed to request the hygienist get additional items twice. One or two things is understandable, but the number of things that went wrong made it seem like they hadn't prepared properly. - Poor communication. They asked me as I was paying why I hadn't elected to get the fluoride, and said that it was recommended. Um, because they never offered? Additionally, at my first appointment for a cleaning, they gave me a check-up but then said I was only on the schedule for a check-up, not a cleaning. Who goes to the dentist but doesn't get the cleaning? They could have easily checked this with me in advance, to make sure that this was what I wanted. Not much communication before and during the procedure either, to walk me through what they were doing and check that I was doing okay. - Little things indicated a poor attention to detail. All their forms looked like they were poor quality photocopies of type-written forms from the '80s. That doesn't really matter in itself, but combined with all the little things going wrong during the procedure, and the long delays, imply that there's not someone there paying attention to the small details that make a dental appointment go smoothly. - Not particularly friendly. Pros: - Fillings seem fine.

Experiencia negativa: I had a tooth extracted yesterday at the beaverton office. The dentist was the worst dentist I ever experienced. He was extremely rough. I have many novican shots. This by far was the most painful. I asked after getting the shot if he put a topical ointment on the gum before the shot. His reply was he didn't find that to help. I told him I should have had a choice. He said nothing. They were the most painful I have ever had. Then instead of waiting for the shot to take effect he started the extraction It continued to hurt so he gave me another shot. Again he started working without waiting. In another minute it was over and he left the room immediately without saying a word. I was like I upset him or something. I will never go back to that office and am looking for a new dentist .

Experiencia negativa: Called for an emergency appointment because a filling came out. They scheduled it for a week out and when i asked aboht a sooner appointment they mentioned I hadn't come in for some other work I couldn't afford a few months ago. When I came in a week later, before they even looked at the problem they mentioned the work they still wanted me to do that I couldnt afford. Then (still without looking at the actual tooth, which was right there in my mouth) they said they wouldn't work on the broken filling. I feel like I drove across town to learn a valuable lesson about not having enough money to be worth a dentist's time. They did mention you can take ibuprofen and Tylenol both, which everyone with limited means knows for this very reason.

Experiencia positiva: The Beaverton office staff is efficient and courteous. I got in quickly and was able to get my dental work done in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, a good experience.The dentist is very skilled and I am happy with my work. The only reason for 4 stars is that I asked for a cleaning and exam on my initial visit, but they didn’t schedule the cleaning at that time. They scheduled the cleaning with my dental work this week, but had to reschedule.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was very nice but had terrible communication and/or shady protocols. I booked a new patient appointment and assumed that meant I would have a cleaning and an exam by a dentist. Was that a bad assumption?! When I arrived they insisted I get x-rays though I had x-rays the previous year and wasn't in need of them. Then the dentist came in, looked at the x-rays and said "your teeth look great, you don't need me," looked in my mouth for less than 30 seconds, then directed me to the front desk to schedule my cleaning because "there's no hygienist on staff on Fridays." What?! I was so frustrated because they did not explain this to me when I booked (otherwise I would not have booked an appt on that day) and their office is a 45 min drive from my house. So I paid a huge bill for x-rays I didn't need, a dentist who did nothing, and no cleaning. Unbelievable!

Experiencia negativa: Emergency visit for broken crown, waited 45 minutes on the chair for the dentist to show up, the dentist checked my teeth and asked me to schedule another visit to repair the crown. Next day, I call the office - sends me to voice mail or their web site. I try to schedule on their web site - the site doe snot work for this office, need to call. Called three times and reached voice mail. Left voice mails. No one is getting back to me. I guess i will need to drive there and schedule in-person. Very poor customer service! I will be looking for a new dentist. Two weeks later, broken crown problem still not resolved. The Beaverton office has only one doctor and she is mostly not in the office. My tooth really hurts and painkillers do not work anymore. They cannot schedule me until the end of the week and referred me to Hillsboro office. Hillsboro office cannot see me as they did not do the diagnosis. I am on chemo treatment and if my tooth gets infected, I can end up in the hospital. Experiencia fantástica: I had a really hard time finding a place to take my HMO dental plan and initially was frustrated because I was told the first appointment would just be to see the dentist and I would need a 2nd appointment for a cleaning. Luckily they were able to do both on the same day when I explained my work schedule and the visit was very efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour and that was with a full hygiene exam including all the gum prodding etc. My hygienist worked fast and didn’t feel like she had to talk the whole time while her fingers are in my mouth which was a nice change from other offices I have been to.

Experiencia negativa: This is the most horrible dental experience I have had. If there is 0 start, I will give it. I was requested to do x-ray today (even I only need to clean my teeth). This office not allow me to do it until I finish all of the exam and X-ray and make another appointment for my hygienist. They let a person (not official staff) took x ray for me. He did it 3 times all failed (no picture been recorded) and realized that HE FORGOT TO PUT THE PROTECTION APRON ON FOR ME That totally horrible what if I got expose with overdose of X-ray. My right face feel uncomfortable and they still requested me to continue to do X-ray with 4 more pictures. And still failed 1 of them. I refused to continue and got complaints with front desk. They told me he’s not official staff why they let him do it for me without any other assistance.

My teeth felt better and looked better when I left and I could feel the thoroughness in her care. The young man who took my x-rays was also very skilled and mindful of my comfort. Experiencia negativa: MAKE SURE YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE TO CHECK YOUR CONTRACTED RATES . I walked out of here with a quote for $1,127 out of pocket that they confirmed multiple times was after insurance but I called my insurance and they said the contracted rate for the procedure I need would be only $680 out of pocket. The girl was so rude when I called in to tell them about the error which is bizarre because that should be something that’s addressed asap to make sure they aren’t over quoting and taking money that isn’t theirs. Seems sketchy.

She picks and chooses her victim's as I learned as in really good, and really bad, big red flag in the last 8 years of bouncing around with company's and different places from Oregon and Washington as she does competition with employees in who is the better dentist and make this a dental medical game in what I learned and witness as she worked on my dental. Please don't waste your time with this dentist. The truth will set you free. Be warned. If something bad happens, she makes you look bad with the other management upper staff to give you to another dentist to hide her damages leading the damage towards the other dentist. She took down half her dental information because she does not want to get caught. That is what she did to me. Dentistry needs to change with stricter guide lines for the safety of all participants in dental care and practices without the minupation and deceitfulness. Please seek a different dentist. You will be glad you did sincerely to everyone seeking the best dental care who reads this.

Experiencia negativa: Friendly staff, knowledgeable and they get the job done but execution and efficiency are lacking. I can't be told something takes one hour and then realize it's been 2.5 hours, especially when an assistant takes 40 minutes to get a temporary tooth in. Multiple times, I've had tools not work correctly during operations. All in all, I'm here because it's the only logical dentist my plan allows but it's the worst experience I've had, in terms of high quality work in a timely manner.

Experiencia negativa: Bad service, I came to my appointment and it turns out that until I got here they canceled my appointment, I didn't even receive a call in advance to tell me that they weren't going to attend me. I receive my messages to confirm my appointment, I confirm it and they tell me that i don't have my appointment that they canceled it because they don't have enough staff. They should be responsible and at least notify me in advance so as not to waste my time and my work by coming to an appointment that I had scheduled for more than 2 months.

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit to Bright Now! Dental in Beaverton was a positive experience starting with the dental Hygenist who did an excellent thorough job. I think her name was Kramer. The Dentist did examine me and determined i have 4 new cavities that need filling. I was pleased with their professional service and will be going back next week to have this done. I am pleased they scheduled me quickly and their lication is very convenient.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a tooth that broke off 3 days before I was to leave for a wedding in California. I was the best man and as you know we have to give a speech. Well I was terrified of going with a broken tooth. I called Bright now and they got me in on Monday did crown set on Tuesday. I was on the plane Tuesday morning early. Thank you Bright now! I highly recommend them! They take care of you.

Experiencia positiva: Procedure included the preparation for two crowns. Was kept numb throughout the two hour process. The two temporary crowns fit well. After care left a lot to be desired, when the numbing wore off, Tylenol and ibuprofen did nothing to stop the throbbing nerves in both teeth. Otherwise everything went well.

Experiencia negativa: I didn't have a great experience at Bright Now! Dental and Orthodontics at the Beaverton location on Griffith Dr. I was not informed ahead of time that my check-up visit might not include a cleaning. This was not communicated to me at any point, which added to the later confusion. The xrays went okay. I waited for a little bit in the chair for the dentist to come in. She greeted me normally and asked about any pain. I told her I've been having pain in specific teeth on the lower right side. She looked at all my teeth, pointed out a tooth I did not tell her was experiencing any pain. She tapped for a minute on the teeth that have been in pain off and on, but unfortunately were not showing any pain at that moment. She then told me there's nothing she can do and wanted to refer me to an orthodontist as there might be a hairline fracture. I expressed confusion because I've had a dentist treat a hairline facture with no issue. The previous dentist spent a lot of time listening to me and figuring out what was happening. The Bright now dentist barely looked at my teeth, there was no cleaning, and hardly any communication. I expressed confusion and frustration (I did not yell) and she repeatedly told me "I don't know what to tell you." I was pretty upset and she was clearly done with the visit. I got the impression they all just wanted to go home (it was the afternoon). As I got up, I said "Well clearly you're done, so I'm going to leave." Again, I did not yell or physically intimidate her in anyway. She basically ran out of the room and did not talk to me at all once I got up. I've never had a dentist try to get me out of the office so quickly. I've never had an annual dental appointment that did not involve a cleaning and thorough check. I've also never had a dentist (or anyone for that matter) run away after I expressed confusion or frustration. I'm really disappointed considering I was not listened to and insurance typically only covers one check-up a year. I would not recommend going to this dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff and Dr who attended to our 7 year old grandson. He needed much work done at our local dentist but they wanted to sedate him. We definitely did not want to do that and felt like we needed a second opinion. At Bright Now they got us in within a week and seeking them out was the best choice for us. Very gentle and professional and our grandson was great in having his tooth pulled. Heartfelt thanks to the staff and Dr there and it was so worth going the extra miles Thank you
