They are professional, thorough, and friendly. The office itself is very pleasant and the exam/treatment spaces are modern and well equiped. While their office is busy, they have never failed to see me promptly if I needed dental care between scheduled visits. Bonus: THEY check with your insurance to verify any care you need is covered and give you cost information upfront. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Holehouse for almost 10 years and have always had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me feeling disrespected and disappointed after years of loyalty. Last week, I woke up with severe tooth pain and called the office to see if I could be seen the same day. I completely understood that same-day appointments aren’t always possible, but the earliest they could get me in was the following week. Because I was in pain, I decided to see another dentist for X-rays and an exam. That dentist found that one of my fillings had come out and needed to be replaced. Later that day, I spoke with Tammy at Dr. Holeshouse’s office and explained everything. She scheduled me for Friday, and I made it clear that I already had recent X-rays and just needed the filling redone. It was my understanding that if I brought the X-rays, they could do the filling that day. When I arrived on Friday, the hygienist immediately started asking about my insurance. I explained that I had recently been laid off and would be paying out of pocket, and that my insurance would be reinstated the following week. Instead of being understanding, she became rude and started lecturing me for not mentioning my job situation earlier. I didn’t think it would be an issue since I was ready to pay cash. Then she said she needed to take new X-rays. I told her I had just paid $100 for X-rays the day before and that I was in pain and thought I was there to have the filling replaced. Her response was condescending — she told me I was “just making assumptions” and “shouldn’t assume” that they would do the filling that day. The way she spoke to me was unprofessional and unnecessary. After being repeatedly talked down to, I decided to leave. Despite showing up and being treated disrespectfully, I was told I’d still be charged a $25 cancellation fee. When I followed up with Tammy a few days later to try to explain what happened, the situation only got worse. She questioned my integrity and insisted I pay the fee. As a military veteran who served 8 honorable years, that really crossed the line — I take pride in my honesty and character. She then told me to find a new dentist. After nearly a decade as a loyal patient who has spent thousands of dollars with this office, I was shocked at how I was treated. I always liked Dr. Holeshouse, but the way his staff handled this situation — from the poor communication to the lack of respect and empathy — was completely unacceptable. Sadly, I’ll be finding a new dentist who truly values and respects their patients.

Nothing worse than going to a doctor or dental appointment and having to read the sign on the wall stating we will charge you $25 for missed appointments and for showing up late for the hour or more your appointment is behind schedule. Not here.

Experiencia negativa: I was a patient here for the past 4 years and had numerous serious issues. Every tooth that Dr. Holehouse worked on ended up having worse problems than what was originally being addressed. One tooth he messed up the filling so much he damaged the tooth to the point of it needing a crown. The crown didn't fit properly and there was then decay where a gap existed (I told him multiple times about this and he said "no, there is no gap." Then eventually he said I needed a root canal because there was food getting caught in the gap. The root canal he did got infected and ultimately had to extract the tooth and get an implant. I'm currently getting the tooth he made for the implant fixed as it is misshaped. Every filling he put in my mouth (some replacing fillings from 10-15 years ago) popped out within 8 weeks of being done by him. He and his hygienists told me every time I went in that it was my fault and I needed to purchase a mouth guard. They talked to me about a mouth guard every single time I went there, which was probably about 30 visits. I got one after the 3rd visit but they tried to sell me one every other time. I would repeatedly tell them I did get a mouth guard and I wear it every night. They would tell me that I don't wear the mouth guard and that's why the fillings pop out. I wear it every single night and having a dentist that accuses you about lying about a mouth guard is so crazy that it's actually hilarious. Sometimes I would be in there and tell them I had a problem with a filling and Dr. Holehouse would say "No you don't. That is bonded in and it won't come out." The irony is that I was in there every other month because his filling popped out. He wouldn't look and address it because I'm just a stupid non-dentist and I'd have to come back in days later because the filling DID pop out. They would say it's because I didn't wear my mouth guard hahaha! I don't blame anyone buy myself for going to this terrible establishment over and over with such bad experiences. The icing on the cake is that when I left they tried to charge me a cancellation fee :)

I asked about if it was really time. They said YES. So I went in. And guess what my insurance declined to pay as it had not been 6 months since my last cleaning. It had only been 4 months. The office thought I should still pay. When the insurance would have paid the entire amount. We left each other due to differences. I usually trust my dentist office to not lie to me about this kind of stuff.
