They were super kind and stayed open for me. I was nervous I would be overcharged (like I’ve been in the past) but that was not the case. It ended up being bad sinus pains, but the dentist made me feel heard and tried everything she could to rule out major things. They could’ve easily overcharged me trying to find the cause, but they didn’t. She helped me when I needed it. Thank you! -I have dental insurance

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to dental care of Mineola for about 2 years now and can't say enough good things about them. Very friendly, thorough and efficient. My previous dentist wanted to drill through my true Front Teeth to fix a "cavity" on the back side which would have resulted in permanent discoloration in the front due to the need to fill in the drilled area with composite. Thank goodness I got a second opinion at Dental Care of Mineola. Turns out it was just a stain and only needed cleaning. Excellent work!

The issue that keeps coming up every visit nearly is that they aren't really putting in an honest effort to make sure they are billing correctly. Always ask for ptr Pre treatment estimate to be sent in to your insurance before having work done bc they will not make it easy to get your money back at all. Then they still won't correct their billing until you kindly call out the differences it takes work. Eventually they make it right but it takes a lot of work and phone calls on your end. They also charge for services that are inclusive so be careful. I would have overpaid hundreds if I wasn't familiar with my coverage and looking out for myself.

Experiencia negativa: Be careful. After over 2 decades with my previous dentist, I decided to try Dental Care of Minneola because I had just moved to Clermont and it was closer. Warning bells went off when they told me I had to have four fillings replaced, one of which I just had replaced 6 months prior. Needless to say, I did not have the work done and upon return to my normal dentist, they confirmed none of my fillings needed to be replaced. I addressed my concerns with my insurance company and will be making the longer drive to my long-time dentist twice a year.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this office. If you need to reschedule a kid after school you will be 2 months plus out. I rescheduled once(pushed out 2+ months- that’s on me- he had a game), then they called to reschedule after already confirming the new appointment & want to push another 2 months out because they have a meeting. At this point we are behind almost 6 months. Maybe don’t schedule meetings during your busiest time. I stopped going a year before this because they push Invisalign like they are getting kick backs, to the point of badgering. I’ve never once been told I needed it by any other dentist. So just beware.

Experiencia negativa: Too many times making errors on what I owe. One hygienist hurt me while cleaning my teeth. Didn’t say anything because she is a lovely lady. Did tell my Dentist but she defended her by saying she likes it that way. She is a lot younger than me and does not have gum issues. Last time my teeth were clean the hygienist said it could be my old crown. Why hasn’t the dentist mentioned it! When I paid I could tell the young lady was annoyed with me. So they will be happy to know I will not coming be returning.

The team there is very friendly and comforting/understanding of anxiousness. I never felt judged for the state of my teeth and the time it’d taken me to come in to get them taken care of. I just finished having the work done on my upper/front teeth and Dr. Jackie and her assistant, Stacey, did a fabulous job of not only making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process, but with my final smile. For the first time in years, I feel like I can smile with my teeth again! No more closed mouth smiles!! If you struggle with dental anxiety, I really recommend Dental Care of Minneola. You’ll be in great hands!

Experiencia negativa: I've been to this dental office a few times and had a great experience several years ago but there was several different people working there. But I yesterday I had an appointment Jacqueline to see what's going with my painful tooth ache I've been experiencing and I was basically lied too and felt cheated out of my hard earned money. Noe Jacqueline was nice and professional but nonetheless when if through the x-rays and exam they will be doing, will they be able to determine the cause of my pain, and if they can pinpoint the exact diagnosis of my situation, the assistant clearly told me twice YES and just rushed me to get the service done. After the x-rays Jacqueline determined she couldn't confirm the exact diagnosis as far if it was a fracture or infection or whatever the case is. But she quickly referred me to another location which they know or maybe affiliated somewhat, but they told me their x-ray machines aren't efficient enough to confirm the diagnosis so I should go over there and get it done. Keep in mind I'm a cash paying customer with no insurance. Now I'm out over $250...

Experiencia negativa: Do not waste your time going there! After a routine cleaning in October by the hygienist the doctor didn't come in to see me. Two months later went to the periodontist who tells me i have two cavities. Called the dentist and informed them what was going on and they tell me because it wasn't my yearly visit (due in February) that they wouldn't take care of the cavities. That doesn't make sense to me!!!!!!! That place is straight GARBAGE!!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Was a very pleasant experience. The people at front desk were welcoming and sweet. Marlon my hygienist (not sure how to spell his name) was soooo awesome! Explained a lot to me. Very gentle. Kind. Funny. He made me feel comfortable with all we did and went over. Tyler is great too! He’s very kind and comforting as well. Asked if I need a blanket or a cover up for my anxiety. So very sweet and helpful. Then there’s Dr. Jackie! What a great Dentist. She was great at informing me of my issues without feeling any pressure. I feel she did a very thorough oral cancer screening. She looked everywhere. Easy to chat with. I just really enjoyed the fact that I wasn’t bombarded with or pressured to purchase or add things to my treatments. The options are explained but never ever felt any pressure. From anyone. And then later that day after I got home, I even called the office to ask a question and get a quote on something and they were very thorough very quick to help. Answered all my questions. Just all-around great office very clean and warm feeling.

The hygienist didn’t clean my left side teeth well Unfortunately, I have to do another deep cleaning . And as for the filling the dentist did a poor job as well…cause me so much pain after filling and when I went back double check the dentist didn’t even check my teeth just simply said you need root canal … so she didn’t care at all …. Totally opposite what they said about patient….will never come back for sure

Experiencia negativa: Six months ago, I had my first appointment at this clinic. Everything went well. They took an X-ray and then did a regular cleaning on my teeth. After that, I was charged 198 dollars and they told me my insurance would cover the rest. Now, months later, I get a call saying that before scheduling my next appointment, I’d have to pay $150 because my insurance supposedly didn’t cover their amazing X-ray. This is just one of several calls I’ve received from this clinic over the months, always trying to charge me for something new or for services they suggested themselves. I’ve realized this clinic cares far more about money than about patients. I understand we live in the most capitalist country in the world, but you’re still dealing with human beings. Because of this and other similar experiences, I won’t be coming back to this clinic again and I kindly ask that you do not call me anymore, as I truly don’t wish to have the displeasure of speaking with any of you. I’m sorry, but you might fool others not a Brazilian like me. We can easily tell when someone is trying to overcharge their clients.

I have been called and text more that 4 times to confirm the same appointment that I confirmed the first time they called. At this point I just feel like they are harassing me with calls and texts.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst experience i had with any dentist office, or any place of business for that matter. Came in to get 2 Upper wisdom teeth removed even though they are the most expensive in the area. It was the only one with an early appointment available. Had to pay out of pocket since no insurance. They made me pay first over $1550 for a surgical extraction even though it was a simple procedure, in and out in 30 mins, only numbing the roof of mouth with an injection. In the process cutting my bottom lip in a few spots from her using my lip as leverage to pull my upper wisdom. Had to tell her to stop several times because it was hurting. And she only stopped the first time and the said she had to keep going, nothing she could do. As the dentist finished and cut the last stitches, she shoved gauze in my mouth and said "That's it all done" and couldn't run out of the room fast enough. As confused as i was, I had to ask the assistant That's it.??? "Do I get a prescription or something, or a follow-up appointment, how long before I can eat??" Had to ask questions myself to can an answer. Then after returning for a follow-up appointment they told me that they overcharged me by over $240 and that I have a credit on my account or I can get a refund. Opted for the refund and was told i had to wait 4 weeks to get a check in the mail. 5 weeks later I call back wondering why I haven't received it yet, and it takes days if calling to try and speak with someone and finally talk to someone and she says she doesn't know why and it's a separate office that deals with refunds. Then after they get a hold of the office they said that they don't know why it hasn't processed yet and that she will put an "express" on it to get shipped out and that it will be 3 more weeks. So I just keep getting the run around, it's been close to 3 months and this place still hasn't paid me back for what they overcharged me for. I can even imagine how much money Dental care of Minneola scams out of the insurance companies. So please people just be careful on they are billing you for. Do not recommend coming here.

Experiencia negativa: They quoted me $455 for my son’s procedure and then when I got in there after they had taken him back, they decide to inform me that they misquoted me and it’s actually $615 because they forgot to add something to the quote. So everything that they quoted me was wrong. They did the same thing for his cleaning and overcharged me by $30. Very dishonest and didn’t even apologize for their own error. His total treatment plan was supposed to be $2900 based on what they quoted me and then magically when we came in it jumped to $6600. That is more than 50% increase, not a small mistake for them to be so nonchalant about it.

They have you sign a stupid treatment care estimate showing no cost for the patient then bill you a month later for dental care they claimed patient would not have to pay. I went in for cleaning then came back another day and their treatment care estimate was $200 over the previous treatment care estimate they presented me at my cleaning.Had previous dental care in 2024 and overcharged me over $500 which they finally paid me back 5 months later. They are a bait and switch dental office. Now Dental Care of Minneola will attach the usual AI response of how they truly care about my concerns.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to this place for two years. They care nothing but money at this place. Every time I go I feel I was ripped off by the team. I paid off at front desk before I left every time, but last time they forgot to charge me something for $75 through insurance, then they sent me a bill in February. I refused to pay at the beginning, then they directly sent the bill to debt collector after one time conversation. Anyway, I decided to pay it off to protect my credit score, but will never come back. (For basic teeth cleaning, they tried their best to add extra service to maximize their profits; they even have a social worker team to convince you to get something extra every time)

Suddenly getting a letter from collection agency that we need to pay the fee along with interest. When we went to the clinic, they said we have to call the collection agency to get the interest removed but collection agency called the clinic they denied. Paid almost 30% as fine on top of actual payment The person at clinic was too harsh and shouting as though we deliberately did something wrong . Never will we ever go to this place again and will stop referring to our network.

Every visit felt more like a sales pitch than a medical appointment. I have spent significant time trying to resolve billing errors. I was told that I need a deep cleaning, then told I did not, then told I did and they can only do a portion of it, then told they could do the whole thing, then told I need cleaning ever six months then told every 3 months. There was a lack of consistency. Felt more like I was at a salon and they were trying to upsell me than at the dentist just getting a cleaning. Walked out without even getting a cleaning at all.

Experiencia negativa: My issue regards billing service since they're acting in charge. Payment of $4200 dollars was demanded at initiation of new dental service. Two months later $1277 was billed. After multiple failed service appointments service has yet to be completed. I've remained with a hole in my mouth and experienced great pain during this time. My dental insurance has been contacted multiple times. Payment is available after requested information is received. It seems that billing service would rather send another bill than submit requested information to insurance (x-ray, narrative). It is not understood how submitted information is denied. Also, my wellness debit card was canceled last year due to billing service submitting insufficient information. I'm thankful for service with the Dentist, but attempts to communicate with billing service has been overwhelming. And I was denied the services because I did not payed them.

Experiencia positiva: The office fit me in for an emergency visit after moving into the neighborhood. I had a filling redone as I had cracked mine and the visit was great. A few days later, I began to have pain and called in. They fit me in and told me I to have a root canal and see if that helped... I thought that was pretty drastic and the price tag was about $3700 for a root canal on that tooth. I went to 2 other dentists for a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Neither of the other offices thought I needed a root canal on a healthy tooth. The Dental Care of Minneola office was kind and accommodating but I was surprised that Dental Care of Minneola would recommend such a serious treatment plan, and such an expensive one at that, unnecessarily.

The staff were polite, quick, and friendly. Dr. Jain was amazing she took the time to explain everything to me and really made me feel comfortable. From the minute you enter the door, you feel welcome and everyone is professional and friendly. I’ve been a patient for over a year now and Dr. Jacqueline Witherell and her staff always take time to explain any procedure being done and answered all my questions and concerns to put me at ease. I definitely made the right choice to become a customer and would highly recommend this dental office to anyone who’s looking for quality dental work that will make you proud of smiling all day long

Everybody was very welcoming and nice, the wait was not long at all and scheduling an appointment was pretty easy with good options for scheduling. Net and Dr. Jay were amazing! Both made me feel extremely welcome. Net is very gentle and caring while doing my cleaning and Dr. Jay was very thorough during my exam and personable, it was my first time meeting her and I really appreciated her bedside manner. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Literally one of the worst professional offices I have ever been to. Walked in to wires hanging out of the tv, used coffee cups left in the waiting room and loud rap music playing from behind the front desk. Upon check in the woman was eating her breakfast and her child was sitting with her eating too. They will literally send you more appointment reminders than you can dream of, but fail to properly do insurance verification. If you question anything, they are extremely hostile and zero help. It’s clear management issues are present. When I denied wanting to pay over $400 for services I was asked to sign the financial sheet before leaving. When I refused the woman snatched the paper in my face. They told me my insurance was denying coverage because “you must have seen another dental office in the last 150 days.” Knowing that was a lie I walked out of this office and called my insurance who refuted these claims. Perhaps this is their version of sales tactics? I was able to call and get into another dental office same day! And the best part, somehow I had insurance coverage at that office. Imagine that. Save your time, money and energy skipping this place.

Experiencia negativa: I had appointment with my son, sat down to be seen. We did not even enter the patient area for service when we were asked for a payment of $75 dollars for X-rays for my son being a first time patient. Why wasn’t this addressed prior to visit. They surely send a thousand texts and email to confirm appointment but never mentioned payment!! I wasted time and gas!! It seems the money part is more important than seeing a patient!! I drove the street and was able to be seen and get a cleaning!!

From the moment I arrived, I expressed my anxiety, and the team was incredibly understanding and supportive. They answered all my questions and, to my surprise, were able to remove my wisdom teeth that same day! The procedure was fast and painless. Gabby, Dr. Jain, and Dr. Witherell were amazing—so kind and attentive to my needs. Thanks to them, my fear of the dentist has been eased. I highly recommend them!

I was so nervous to get my two front teeth fixed. I had a chip in one of them. The results are simply amazing. I am so happy I can now smile. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone. Experiencia negativa: The hygienist was great, but unfortunately, after getting established, the insurance is not taken just after 30 days. They said they change things every 30 days. This really is a bad insurance tactic. They also did not tell previous patients and deceived them,and still did work, and then charged them. This is a terrible office. Bad tactics. The desk people are terrible. Stay away from this office. Go anywhere else. Insurance deception. Find somewhere else to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Jacqueline Witherell is the best. Very down to earth. Informs you of what she is doing and all your options that you may need. They don't push procedures upon you. The office is very easy to work with also. Appointments, payments, and working with your insurance. I would recommend highly to anyone in the Clermont, FL area.
