Experiencia negativa: This doctor is giving out root canals like candy, i came in early Feb, and was told i needed fillings & a root canal , even tho i had no issues with the tooth he gave a root canal for. He began to explain symptoms i should have i explained to him , it doesn't hurt but he said ill need it sooner then mater , him being a doctor i believed him. He also gives me fillings i had to return to refill within two weeks , because i called and complained they had me drive there sit me in a chair while Ruben is pointing his hand in my face for me to not out the window but at the doctor . Doctor tells me im upset but he wants me to know - he is my doctor , while flaring and clapping his hands in front of more .Then sent me home and when i returned for the dental work that same day , he began to be nice rude. Dr Nguyen is the worst and i will be contacting the board and my lawyer

Experiencia positiva: Everyone at the Porter location was very professional. However during the actual teeth cleaning, the experience felt very rushed. I felt like the dentist was trying to make up for being behind schedule. A number of times I needed to ask the dentist to take a pause because too much water collecting in the back of my throat or I would have started gagging.

Experiencia negativa: Take your business elsewhere. My daughter had an appointment on 4/1 to remove all four wisdom teeth. They took payment and prepped her, even though the doctor knew he hadn’t picked up a required instrument he was supposed to get himself. After everything, they told us they couldn’t do the procedure because of this and we had to reschedule. She was left in pain all week—even after being prescribed medication that didn’t help. On 4/8, she finally had the procedure. When I picked her up, she looked like she had been crying. Later, she told me she woke up during surgery, was crying, and the nurse informed the doctor, but he said she was fine. Her recovery was rough—severe swelling, bruising, and intense pain that kept her from eating or going to work. We later discovered cuts and stitches in areas nowhere near her wisdom teeth, including near her front and bottom teeth. This experience caused unnecessary pain and stress. Very unprofessional—I would not recommend this place. Please RUN

Experiencia positiva: I’ve always had a positive experience at Trinity Dental. The staff is friendly, and the overall service is great every time I visit. The only thing I would suggest is getting my teeth numbed before the cleaning, as it can be a bit painful. The doctor did mention that they can do this for me next time, which I really appreciate. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend them!

Experiencia negativa: Poor experience. My visit was defined by significant service failures and, more alarmingly, racially biased treatment that is unacceptable in a professional healthcare setting. While we arrived at 11:52 AM for a 12:30 PM appointment, we were not brought to a patient room until 12:42 PM and subsequently left unattended in that room for an additional 45 minutes. Beyond these operational delays, I must highlight a clear instance of racial microaggression regarding office policy enforcement. I was explicitly instructed that cellular devices were prohibited in the patient rooms. However, I observed multiple white patients permitted to keep and use their phones in these same areas without intervention. As the only Black patients present during this three-hour window, the selective enforcement of this rule appeared targeted and discriminatory. Aside from one professional interaction with a front-desk staff member who has long blonde hair, the atmosphere was dismissive and unwelcoming. When I eventually inquired about the delay after the service, the staff responded with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, stating, "Oh well, we had other patients to see and it can never really be determined how long it’s going to take but we apologize." This lack of accountability and disregard for a patient's time is highly inappropriate. We drove an hour to this location. This experience has entirely eroded my trust in Trinity’s commitment to equitable patient care. I expect a formal review of the protocols at this location to ensure no other patients are subjected to this type of disparate treatment. I look forward to your response regarding how this will be addressed with some sort of compensation. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful experience! The staff (Candy, Lorena) and the dental assistant (Ruben) are always warm, professional and welcoming. I was extremely worry about a Crown that popped off. They were able to see me right away. Dr Nguyen is a skilled, patient and caring dentist, took the time to explain my treatment plan with a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend this business.

I do wish she had used a mint before we started. The dentist was professional and did a good job providing my dental needs. I do wish the hygienist had been more on top of the water vacuum because I was choking and had to stop the cleaning several times.

Experiencia negativa: My children and I were seen three months ago. The new Dentist they hired was very rude and condescending to both of my children. My child simply asked a question “what is that for?” And he rolled his eyes and sighed in irritation and didn’t answer. When I went they were in the middle of interviewing/rotating candidates in October. I was seen by a kind dentist that was there temporarily. I was going to schedule again but it turns out they hired the one that lacks pediatric skills and kindness to children. No thank you. I used to be content with their good services as the hygienists are good and through in their cleanings. But today I reached the last straw. I’ve been calling their office and a man answers in a grumpy tone when I ask for my daughter’s X-rays and referral to get a cavity filled in. As well as my x-rays. He kept saying some always unavailable manager needed to send it. And after the third call I received one photo of an x-ray that did not show the cavity I told him it was not enough and after once again being ignored in my request I hung up. I never received the referral. I understand people being upset at losing money, but this lack of professionalism and beating around the bush to force previous clients into debt for switching proves to me this is not a safe place to take my family to. I’m deeply disappointed with Trinity Dental- Porter especially with the rude Dentist and the deceptive phone call receptionist and again it’s not the lady it’s the man who didn’t provide his name.

I had four children who all had appointments and from the moment we walked in, I felt like we were annoying them. Kids were behaved well enough for age group. Mainly upon leaving when the doctors excuses had the last names mixed up and it had to be corrected, I felt like I was burdening them by having them do their jobs. Facility is very nice and clean!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown come off one of my front teeth. I’m new to the area and wanted to find a new dentist and this emergent issue forced me to do so quickly. Trinity Dental is listed as in-network with my insurance plan so I made an appointment for same day. I was taken from the waiting area to the chair at almost the same time as my appointment. Gracie took care of my prep work, X-rays, temporary crown and deep cleaning. She is very knowledgeable and has a great chair side manner. She had assistance from Liz and Jennifer. Office Manager Nana was very thorough going over my treatment plan and associated costs. She seems to genuinely enjoy her job. Dr. Khalid also explained everything he found necessary after looking at the x-rays. He gave a numbing shot that was almost painless and he performed the deep cleaning careful to not hurt me.

Other wise they were friendly respectful and after explaining everything very knowledgeable on the services I needed… the facilities were clean … and the intake staff was very helpful…

Experiencia negativa: Me and my mom have been using Trinity dental our whole lives and the past 3 years it has been horrible trying to make appointments. Our past few appointments have been getting canceled and rescheduled so when I got a text saying they had open and available appointments for the coming week I figured I would finally make an appointment. Well I made an appointment for the next day at 1:00 and had another appointment with a different dr the same they and they reassured me i would make that appointment. They then text me the same day I made the appointment saying I needed to move up my appointment time. So I call and they are asking me to come at 11.I tell them the only time I could come was 1 and if I cant get in i will reschedule. I was very frustrated because this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET AN APPOINTMENT HERE AND TO EVERYONE ELSE I KNOW TOO. horrible. The worker puts me on the phone and they each asked me multiple times to come in at 11 or 12 with me saying no every time and to stop asking because they obviously wouldn't listen. They then say they can just keep it at 1 and I told them no thank you after this horrible experience i get every-time I go here. I then received messages saying they scheduled me and my mom’s appointments for 11 and 12 after I had said no and to just cancel my appointments?Horrible customer service and zero professionalism from the manager. The reason for this review is ONLY because it happens every single time and it gets irritating. I have been using Trinity Dental since I was very young and they have completely screwed over me and my mother in the past 3 years.

Experiencia fantástica: A dentist office in Spring was very heavy handed and clumsy while restoring my broken tooth. The doctor over there drilled into one of my teeth and said it was so small that no one would notice. Well, the exposed tooth started hurting whenever I ate anything hard or acidic. Sometimes it would even hurt to breathe on it. Thankfully, I found Trinity while driving down the highway. Trinity was able to fill in the gap in less than 10 minutes, and now it’s as good as new!!!

Experiencia fantástica: There’s not one bad thing that I can say about this place. Well, actually I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the front to check me in. Another patient that came in behind me said that the staff was most likely at lunch which is not over until 2pm. Well my appointment was at 2pm. I’m big on customer service so that was a little disappointing however, they redeemed themselves once someone came to the front, checked me in, sent me a link to fill out a little paperwork and I was called back in a jiffy. Everyone was really kind and I could tell that they knew their jobs. My recommendation would be for them not to book patients at that time. Maybe, book them 15 minutes later so that they can have time to finish their lunch break because we all need our breaks. However, if you book an appointment they should be ready for them because if we’re late they want to charge us nowadays so I believe we need the same respect. Also, it would be good to have a sign that says “someone will be right with you” or something to that nature. Overall I still give them 5 stars.

Dr. Johnson was patient, attentive, and explained everything she was doing. She even repaired my chipped tooth on the spot! Thank you, Dr. Johnson—see you in six months!
