Experiencia negativa: We had appointments set two months in advance, and they waited until the day before to cancel them because of a problem with our insurance network (their problem, not ours). Had to wait another month for availability. When we called multiple times to confirm that the problem was resolved before the new appointments, we couldn’t get a straight answer until an hour before the first appointment. Once there, they pushed cancer screening hard on one of us, but a simple decline from the other of us was sufficient (inconsistent service and priorities). Then they tried to do x-rays on me when I’d just had them in October. If I wasn’t on-the-ball and called them out on it, I would have ended up paying for them, since insurance only covers them once a year (incompetence). And the hygienist didn’t even floss! This is a typical corporate-owned practice that is more concerned about their own profits than about providing good health care. Even the employees are just pawns to the ownership in charge. Unfortunately, if you have insurance, this is pretty much the low standard you’re stuck with. It’s better than nothing.

Experiencia negativa: I came here about a year ago and will never return back. I called and asked BEFORE making an appointment if they do root canals and the lady on the phone said yes. So I booked an appointment to get x-rays and what not done. I get to the appointment and the Doctor is checking my teeth and going over the x-rays, he then tells me I need a root canal but then says they don't provide that service there. I was fine with having to go else where for the root canal. What got me upset was that they were trying to charge me an insane amount of money to get fillings AND a cleaning done. I work in the medical field so I KNOW how billing works. They were trying to charge me services that my insurance at the time covered. I will not be going back to an office that does not know how to bill. And I will NOT go back because they (front desk) were rude. I don't typically write reviews but please be cautious and go over everything that's covered with your insurance before coming here

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could leave 0 star rating. First time patient for me and my 2 daughters scheduled exams and cleaning online. Day of appointments arrived 20 minutes earlier ended up being there for total of plus 3 hours waiting which made no sense X-rays were done fairly quickly dr. Wait time was long. Dr seen us all but 5 minutes each and wasn’t really personable felt like just a number on a list in my opinion. After dr reviewed X-rays told us to go up front to review dental plan which was odd because we scheduled for xrays and cleaning’s for us 3. When I asked about the cleaning at front desk was told cleanings will be scheduled for different date which I was not ok with because that had been scheduled for current visit. I Was then told conflicting excuses as to why 1) they were down a hygienist 2 they only book cleanings on Tuesday and Thursday’s ( mind you our appointments were booked/schedule for a Thursday cleaning) when I confronted the office about this they said our cleanings had to be canceled and I informed them that they should have called to let me know before the visit because I for sure would have gone somewhere else. Front office the. Blamed the dental toll service for over scheduling although I booked online and called 2 days before visit to confirm time at which I could have been notified of changes to my appointment. I am a single parent mom who tries to schedule and prepare ahead of time for I cannot miss work called and complained was told they would have some cancelations and would be given a call to return same day for cleaning and unfortunately that did not happen. I hope to avoid a headache for someone else.

Now, I don't trust the business practices nor appreciate indifference or ambivalence received from the front office staff, with that said. My review: deeply Dissatisfied with the(1) front office, billing, specifically changing cost from original estimates and blaming the changes on insurance when your submitted erroneous, insufficient and incorrect information (2) Dr. Kuns your cinisisom and sarcastic is not appropriate with the 30 years of experience you claim as bed side manor and your evaluation, not reasonable with the condition of the pieces and That's not just me. Replaying: What's the point of calling this office if all that comes out of the staff is monbo-jumbo and empty words. Just an unprofessional place of business. I reserve the right to change my opinion. Smile, Corporate listen before you get in trouble and loose this one too.

As someone who experienced a long orthodontic treatment (being transferred from a different provider), Dr. Sami always greeted me with a smile and ensured that my orthodontic experience went as seamless as possible. Shout out to his techs as well!

Experiencia fantástica: It'd been a while since I'd been to the dentist, but I found this place and they are great! The staff is nice and the hygienist takes her time with me and I appreciate it.

Experiencia negativa: If I was only rating Dr. Griffin and the staff assisting him, I would give five stars. Unfortunately, the office staff is beyond unprofessional. They will immediately put you on hold until you hang up six minutes later then act as though nothing happened. First I was told they don't setup teeth cleaning more than two weeks in advance. When I went for my follow up appointment, I asked about setting up teeth cleaning. They told me they did not have dental hygienist. That was fine until a staff member interrupted Dr. Griffin while he was with me. He told the staff member to have the woman change her appointment with their dental hygienist for a few days sooner. What happened to not having a dental hygienist? When I called for an urgent appointment because I was in excruciating pain, I was told they don't have urgent appointments. I was then told they would talk to Dr. Griffin. After not hearing back, I called again. I spoke to a different woman. Nothing was noted on my chart and no one I talked to Dr. Griffin. Since I was told they do not take urgent appointments, I was told I would have to call back because they can't access the following month's appointment schedule. I have to wonder if Dr. Griffin knows how the women up front treat patients. Don't think you will be treated better if you're a new patient. I waited over 1.5 hours for my first appointment then the woman upfront tried to charge me for something my dental plain covers. I had to question her twice about it until she admitted she was incorrect. I didn't owe anything. *I forgot to add, the receptionist gave me medical advice. I should take some ibuprofen pain then call around to try to find a dentist who takes urgent care patients.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible establishment…. I was put on a periodontal plan that they did not discuss with me prior to and then I started receiving bills because my insurance denied the claims. Instead of discussing this with me and fixing…. there unprofessional billing department sent the balance to claims. I’m done with castle!!!!

Experiencia negativa: My experience in this clinic has been the worst.I have seven days of having gone to take my first exam and I definitely will not come back because I asked to see my X-rays and my information and they are lying to me saying that they will send it to my email and they don't send it to me,I went to the clinic to remind them to send me the information to my email. And the answer from the receptionist Claudia was to tell me, yes, in a few minutes we will send it to you. And as I left, trusting that they were going to send it to me, I never received it. They never sent it to me. And I call by phone to remind her and she does not answer the call when they ask for my name.I wonder if this was happens on my first visit, what would happen later on the next ones.Definitely. I don't want to see the answer, nor will I wait.

Experiencia negativa: I went to ask why Is my left side is hurting where a tooth was extracted. The doctor told me it’s just probably a nerve and still healing. I had a tooth cracked on my right side and went to another dentist and sent my pano to an oral surgeon. The surgeon told me that the left side where I’m having pain where the tooth was extracted is infected and causing issues. But the doctor never said anything. Or that I still have some of my partial wisdom tooth still there in my gums.

Experiencia positiva: The Staff is very polite and professional. I felt comfortable in my very first appointment. Dr. Brad Griffin seemed knowledgeable and confident. Very professional and has great bedside manners, speaking slowly to make sure I understood him.

Experiencia negativa: If it wasn't for Dr. Griffin, unfortunately I would never come to this location again. But I still have decided to now take my business elsewhere. The front desk ladies, and staff are unprofessional and rude (not the doctor or dental cleaner). I can never get anyone to answer the phone, and when I do finally speak to someone they are ALWAYS extremely rude. It's very sad because they will lose out on patients because of the staff. They seem very unhappy with their job. I read the negative reviews and decided to still give it a chance and was happy with the service with the doctor only. You guys represent him, and unfortunately it's not a good look. This morning I received a text stating they canceled my appointment that I made over a month ago. It is okay because I actually was going to call to let them know I will be taking my services somewhere else. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication and how unprofessional this location is

Experiencia fantástica: This post is for Dr. Brad Griffin. His hands are like butter, he has the most gentle hands I have ever experienced. He will be my Dentist as long as I am on earth. I had (4) questions regarding my appointment and he took time to answer each one and repeated, if necessary. This may be a little weird to say, but Dr. Griffin hands, calmness and responses- just the way he carries himself, makes me think ever since he was a child he knew he wanted to be a Dentist. He’s just that good! The madam who sits at the front desk- not sure if the name (Elda ?), is rude. Not sure why she meets/greets when you first come in. If it were not for Dr. Griffin, I would not be a customer. My rating is specifically for Dr.Griffin. Sometimes you have to weigh your options: Would I like a rude receptionist (if that is her title- no disrespect) or would I love a Dr would is going to be gentle as a lamb w/ my mouth. I choose the latter. Thank you Dr. Brad Griffin!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: They canceled my appointment that was on Monday. I called to get it reschedule. It can be hard to get someone on the phone. With my difficult work schedule it can be hard to schedule things. I had a free Saturday and tired to reschedule then. On google it says they are open Saturdays. When i called they informed me they are only open Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays now. With my work schedule they wouldn't be able to see me until next month. Ended up having to find a new dentist with more availabilities.

My first 10 mins I was ignored by the receptionists bc they were busy looking through all the paper files along the walls even though we were the only ones there then when they did acknowledge me they had me fill out paperwork and my kids weren't seen until I finished the paperwork and even though I got their number through the in network search of providers in my insurance portal and even verified with them I was unaware that it depends on the specific dentist but they wouldn't have even known bc apparently only the manager can verify coverage and she wasn't in the office so I had no way to know the ONE dentist that was there was there was not in network so I had to pay cash for services and I was told it would be $59 but she conveniently forgot to mention per child until after charging me I asked for a work excuse didn't get that it was just ridiculous the whole experience

The poor xray tech needs protection when taking x-ray. The dentist recommended I have $1k worth of work and my son two fillings. I went to another dentist after dealing with how poor the front desk was run to find out I needed half that work done and my son only one filling. This place tries to take advantage of people. Do not visit this location. It was easily the worst dentist office I've ever had the displeasure. 0/5 stars if I could. They also held onto my xrays after being promised they'd be sent over to a reputable office, so they'd have to be taken again. They close the office randomly, even if you have an appt. The worst location. Edit: Then, they leave worthless canned responses to reviews instead of just taking care of the stated issues. A sham.

I called today and got put on hood twice just for someone to tell me that no one in the office can help. I feel like I wasted my insurance by coming here. Experiencia negativa: First, I will say the nurse and front desk clerk were great. They were kind and explained everything to me. The doctor though did not have the same bedside manner. She quickly examined my teeth and started talking to the nurse but did not tell me what was happening. She started talking about a root canal but did not explain why I would need it or anything else. When I got my quote there were services on there that I was never told about. I felt like a number and not a human.

Experiencia negativa: Castle Dental bought out my sons orthodontist contract from Southern Dental and it has been a nightmare the past 6 months. Around June or July, they have made it that you can only come on a Thursday which was the same day as my sons football schedule. I have to work so I cannot just take him in the morning so he had to miss a couple of months due to this scheduling conflict. Yesterday they told me they are going to start charging me $160 a month because his contract is going longer that expected. I asked them to show me this clause in my contract but they could not produce the said document. I am stuck with them unfortunately but would not recommend them to anyone.

My whole complaint is with the front desk, mainly the older Hispanic woman that appears to be the front desk/office manager. She's has zero personality, she doesn't make you feel welcome and she is rude sometimes. I can't believe she's still employed there. She needs a lot of training or she needs to find a new job. In any case, I'm done with that office and I'm with a new PROFESSIONAL dental office now.

After she made me do like ten thousand pages of paperwork she then asked the same ignorant questions and assuming stuff. I had no other choice but to leave the place.

I am at this location to receive dental work and that’s probably all that I’m going to get. The front counter is direct there’s no hospitality, just service! The cost is much less than quoted by other offices and insurance entities. I hope my cleaning goes well and my root canal…

Experiencia positiva: The service provided by the doctors and dental assistance staff is great, very proficient, however the front desk manager has bad customer services both in person and over the phone, which makes the overall experience here as a patient an inconsistent. If we would not be towards the end of our ortho treatment, I would switch dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Dr was very good and thorough but that staff seemed confused and did not set up the procedure I went into the office for. Also I was never sent new patient paperwork ahead of my appointment as promised so this made my appointment time last 30 minutes longer then required.

Experiencia fantástica: Upon entering Castle Dental I approached the counter and was greeted with a smile from the front desk clerk. She was cordial and informative. The x-ray technician was very pleasant and directive, then I met the doctor. He was very clear and concise concerning my x-rays and what I needed for my teeth to be super healthy. I want to thank Castle Dental for making me feel welcome.

Experiencia negativa: They asked me to come in for an exam, I did, my teeth were fine, my gums were good no cavities, they said I needed a deep scale cleaning. They hand me paperwork for 3000$ for a CLEANING! This place should be ashamed of themselves, their doctors, their staff. In no way does a hour procedure cost 3000$ nor does it cost that without any problems! This place strait tried to rob me of my money. Only paid 70$ for the exam and that's wasted too. Never go here this place will try and steal from you!

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately I do not like to give bad reviews but I have tried to have patience with this dental office. They cancel your appointments due to staff calling in and make it extremely difficult to reschedule. Cleanings are extremely important since my son has braces but they only have one hygienist and it's impossible for her to catch up on canceled appointments if she is out for more than one day. I suggest finding another office close by if you can.

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible. Dentists cycle through here faster then sanitation workers at the dump. The women at the front are just there for a paycheck and the (1) person they have performing teeth cleanings never shows up to work. So imagine this. You schedule your (2) children for cleanings on the same day. You use (1) of your PTO days to make this happen. You get to the office and the cleaning lady is out and no one has called you to inform you. You make another appointment for their next available opening which is two months away. Two months comes and again you burn one of your PTO days to take the kids to the dentist. Again you get to the office and the cleaning lady is taking a day off. No calls or heads up. Just a waste of time and resources. Castle Dental....You are FIRED.

The doctor is very patient and takes his time. All in all, this is a great place! I appreciate that they offer multiple financing options. I’ve had 2 bridges done here and they both turned out beautifully!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible place, rude staff. I went in for a bridge replacement consultation. Been to a couple of other good dentist in the area. Think maybe get a cheaper opinion. But pay for what you get i guess. They demanded payment up front. I was like what, i will give you credit card but sign when complete. Really who pays for something in advance, concert, movie tickets that it for me. So they wont be getting my business. This is a 5 figure replacement so thier loss. Still never had this experience at any other dental office. Rude and cheap, maybe they go together?

Ran my already blood pressure extremely high. I don't know her name. But she knows who she is and so does everyone in the office. Those ladies in the front have made this a painful experience.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter went to this location to get her braces. I am very displeased with the service offered by the orthodontics department. The orthodontics office is inconsistence and communication is horrible. I have not been able to go in with her because of the pandemic. They didn't fully explain how that the retainer was permanent. Of course you know how that went! She lost it. I have left several messages with a call back over the holiday and was told the doctor was out of the office for 2 weeks. I am called on 1/3 and was left on hold forever. I called on 1/4, today and finally spoke with some with some sense!

Both me and my wife had appointments, wife's appointment was for 9am we did arrive early because we were told paperwork would need to be completed... even after spending 20 minutes on the phone days prior to our arrival. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes before being seen and having exrays taken. After the exrays a doctor came in and showed my wife a small dark spot on the exrays (cavity)now the reason for our appointments were for teeth cleaning, doctor said they were going to check with insurance company to see if they would cover the expenses. Around 11am my wife came out and they showed her what the cost would be for the cavity... but now would need to schedule a new appointment for her teeth to be cleaned? At this point I canceled my appointment. Now the reason was because we traveled 1 1/2 hours for this appointment. When I told the woman behind the counter to cancel my appointment she didn't even ask why? Apparently she wasn't concerned why. This dental office wasn't very professional as in they should have completed her cleaning and checked with her insurance in the meantime and there wouldn't have been any issues. Looks like they were more interested in finding more ways of getting money from their customers. Not a place I'd tell anyone that needs a dentist even if it was a emergency.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. The heavier set Mexican lady at the front had a horrible attitude. I even tried to call 2 or the times and kept getting her and her attitude is the same. They do not answer the phones and will book you an appointment and won’t remember you when you come back for it. I would never recommend anybody to you all…. Being kind is free, to corporate or the doctors, Please get better receptionists. These are the people who give your first impression. For new patients like me and my sister, we will never come back and we only seen you all once. Best of luck to this location and business!

Experiencia negativa: I’m giving this place a one star. I came a year ago and was recommended a deep cleaning. I didn’t have money at the time so I had to wait. At the time. I didn’t care much for the dentist that saw me, she wasn’t very personable and seemed like she didn’t want to speak much but figured she might be having a bad day. Fast forward to a year later, I finally raise enough money to get the cleaning done so I called back in April to schedule the appointment. I was told that they didn’t have any Saturday appointments so I had to wait until my summer break in June. The receptionist that answered the call was semi rude and seemed annoyed to be on the call. I kept explaining that I needed a Friday appointment since those were my days off. She alerted me that the previous doctor I had seen didn’t work Fridays. When I request someone new she seemed annoyed but made the appointment. So I felt like all was right with the world. I received an appointment reminder/ confirmation on the several occasions via text begging on June 10th. Made childcare arrangements and headed that way today. As I walked up I noticed that the place is closed and called to leave their office number to receive a message alerting me that they were closed on Fridays. I gave this place a chance and I’m done. I should have gone with another dentist a while back ago. So I’m back to square one. In search of a new dentist for a deep cleaning. I wasted gas during this crazy gas price time, and wasted time when I had other errands that I could have taken care of.
