Experiencia fantástica: I can honestly say I have not met such nice workers. This by far was the nicest Dentist office….

Experiencia fantástica: Last Friday I had severe tooth pain. It wouldn’t go away with anything. My regular dentist is closed on Friday but they sent me to another partner dentist. I went there early Friday morning where they were only able to numb the pain temporarily until I could get to my dentist Monday. The numbing wasn’t working within two hours so on the way home I stopped by this dentist. They were able to see me and even though they couldn’t do the root canal I needed the dentist was able to temporarily fix the tooth by kinda filling it covering the broken tooth with the exposed nerve. Im pregnant so I couldn’t have gas, pain medication or anything and I was a pain to deal with but the dentist was very patient with me and was able to stop the pain! Im so thankful to her! I hope she sees this and knows that her work has helped me make it until Wednesday when I get the root canal!

I arrived to my appt and the staff was so professional and even when I met the doctor , she was all about her business. I look at her and said, I am in the right place. Thank you all for caring. Today I followed up with a couple of fillings and a cleaning . Dr. Patel Was smiling to see me. She and her staff are so professional. They worked on my teeth and now my mouth feels so much healthier and my teeth are so much brighter. Thank you all for making my experience a great one. See you all in December. I will recommend all my friends to Family CareDental in Alabaster.

Experiencia negativa: Do not go to this place. If you go on your first visit, they charge you a consultation fee of $68 , which they do not tell you about. All they want is your money. On my first visit, they said I had so many things wrong and I was going have to pay $1200. Went somewhere else to get a second opinion, totally different results. Stay away from here.

Experiencia negativa: I have to say that my hygienist and dentist gets 100 stars but the new office staff is very clueless and doesn’t know how to handle the front end and tried to over charge me telling me that I had to call blue cross because she said that they sent me a check which I’m retired and have never received a check sent to me they always pay my bills . I was lied to and told to call blue cross because they she was told that I received a check from them . I was on hold while blue cross contact them , come to find out it was a mistake on their end I don’t know if scamming is going on or not. I did Mohave this problem with the original office staff!

Experiencia negativa: I decided to post today after receiving a call reminding me of a 6 month cleaning. I haven’t been to this place for years and WILL NEVER go back. I was new to the area when I first went there as I was experiencing some pain. They examined me and told me I had 3 cavities that were causing the gum pain. My gut told me otherwise and I went to two other REPUTABLE dentists for a second and third opinion… Guess what… NO CAVITIES!!! My teeth were perfect then and still are today. I was just experiencing a little sensitivity issue and all that was needed was a little desensitizer at the moment and never again. The staff is nice but the dentist either lacks knowledge or just money hungry. Why would you mess with perfectly healthy teeth? I DO NOT recommend this place and would never send my worst enemy there.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to get a tooth pulled. I’m 57 and never have had to have an adult tooth pulled. I was very nervous. They were great. Didn’t feel a thing but a little pressure.

Experiencia negativa: Awful experience. I was judged and shamed for the state of my mouth and they wouldn’t clean my teeth at all. They refused to give me a full refund. Now I dislike dentists even more. Do not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: 1st visit: Quick and efficient; pleasant Dentist and staff 2nd visit: same as first; Dr. Patel watches body language and even explains things in a way to understand. I will be back! 3rd visit: regular cleaning Communication during cleaning and they noticed a loose filling so they set me up for another appointment in a few weeks to take care of it before it completely falls out. Another 5 stars! Probably my 5th visit or so...very thorough and friendly 6th visit - cleaning checkup went great. They found I needed crowns on 2 teeth.

Experiencia negativa: This was the second worst experience I've had with this dentist. The first was when Dr. Patelehad much difficulty removing my upper impression, resulting in my gagging, choking it was scary. Today I came in pain, seeking help and relief from a tooth ache and extraction of my upper teeth in order to receive my upper dentures. After Dr. Pateal injected the novacan, she let me sit there in the chair for over 28 minutes while they check with my insurance to see if they would cover cutting away my bridge. To which they informed me that my part would be over $200.00. My husband and I are on fixed incomes, we informed them that we could pay on the 1st and on the 3rd. After all, I would have to come back to receive my permanent dentures in a few days any way. This should have been cleared and informed to us, before I entered her office not in the chair with a frozen face. These people sent me home in this condition, with no help what so ever. I will NEVER set my foot in this office again. Talk about being totally unprofessional. Is this what serve as patient care now? My husband and I couldn't believe the lack of care, compassion of this dentist. I've been to several dentist in my life time and NEVER have I've experienced such cold and unprofessional treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience at Family Care Dental Practice in Alabaster, Alabama has been far most one of the best dental experiences that we have had in 13 years of our son’s life. Must I add that our son is on the spectrum and that it takes a lot of care and patience to treat him with any medical or dentistry procedure. He’s not rough nor does he have explosive behavior, but he likes to understand everything that’s going on with his body or any form of that matter.The awesome staff and doctor at this facility really took the time care and patience to discover his needs and to service us in a way that is unexplainable. If you’re a mom with a child on the spectrum, a child with special needs, or just simply a mom who LOVES/CHERISHES their child(ren) you know off the top that means a lot and that it becomes another moment to celebrate an accomplishment, goal, or milestone that may be simple for others to meet but a challenge for you. It is very difficult to find the care and treatment that our children deserve. This place is top notch in cleanliness, warmth, service, a knowledgeable staff and care. This weekend our son could hardly smile because of the irritation and pain of the tooth that needed to be pulled. It was hanging on like a Walrus.. We could not get it “OUT” without the concern of hurting him. This weekend was tough.‍We will definitely return and we are so so happy with the service that we received today and it’s just as the picture captured below Before and After.It was a cool Pull NO SHADE , and no tears. Experiencia negativa: Listen to the 1 star reviews and save yourself. I went back in May cause it had been a while since I had been to the dentist. I got 4 fillings done. SINCE MAY I have not been able to chew on my left side. I went back a numerous amount of times and even had the fillings redone which did not help. I wasn’t having pain or problems prior to these fillings. The doctor I was seeing stopped seeing me and then I was told I probably have to shell out another 1k for root canals on top of the procedures i already paid for here. I asked for a refund weeks ago only to be given the run around. Now I have pain on my right side where they did fillings as well. Just save yourself and do not go here. They obviously don’t care about their patients wellbeing.

Experiencia negativa: I was really hoping that I was going to have a good appointment because I saw the reviews were good online and it was really close to my house. I had to crouch down to get my x Ray pictures done on the machine which felt odd. Then the doctor first told me that I had a cavity but didn't communicate that she was too busy and was told by another tech that I had to come back another time. The whole appointment felt rushed. It kinda felt like the girl taking care of me was new but if that was the case nobody else was by her 90% of the time to help her. I wish them the best though and it's totally possible that I just came in at the wrong time.

I am a person that has severe anxiety when going to a dentist, perhaps from having so many bad experiences through out my life. The staff at FCD are so kind, patient and understanding. The dentist, Dr. Allison Kirkpatrick is amazing! She is so, so sweet. I can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients and what's best for them. I left FCD with happy tears (literally). I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit FCD, especially if you have a phobia or anxiety like I do when it comes to visiting a dentist office. You won't regret it! Thanks FCD for making my visit such a good experience. I am looking forward to getting my smile and confidence back again.

We are in the midst of holidays and the first 3 dental clinics I called, are not accepting patients until January 6th! OMG! Suffering in pain for the New Year seemed to be inevitable! However, Prayer is real and God answers! Jumped on Google search. Ding! Family Care Dental (Urgent Care Alabaster)? Never heard if them, but I checked the reviews! The reviews are excellent- Gave them a call...Hallelujah! Same day appointment available and received paperwork electronically to minimize wait time! They are the most caring staff I have encountered in years! Dr. Rich and her team are one of a kind. They eased my phobia by communicating and letting Alexa play my favorite genre of music during the exam! Gospel music to the rescue...I received impeccable patient care in a stressful situation. She started my treatment plan and I will be able to enjoy the New Year with family, and minimal pain. Google, give them 10 stars! I will return to review the actual procedure scheduled for next week! Wish me luck-

The wait was very minimal, the Asst was absolutely invested in my care. The dentist put me at ease immediately. She was complimentary (undeserving) to me and the overall care of my teeth. She was thorough and very explanatory of what I needed to do, and the Asst was thorough, taking the time to go over any costs, what insurance would provide and a time frame for completion. You will not be disappointed in your visit here.

She is very patient and thorough when making your treatment plan to fit the individual person. Normally going to the dentist gives me anxiety but with her she always gives me a sense of calmness and ease.
