Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately I was told that dental X-rays are now required every 6 months due to a new corporate policy. I request dental X-rays annually due to a history of ionizing radiation for other conditions, and my dentists agree that's the right choice given my excellent dental history. I was unable to receive a cleaning because I declined. A corporate policy that mandates a diagnostic in order to receive a cleaning is revenue-focused rather than patient-focused.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I was extremely disappointed it was my first appointment with them and I showed up 15 to 20 minutes early. When I walked in nobody was at the front desk everybody was on break. A young lady had walked in about 10 minutes later and got behind the front desk and I never realized. One other person got in front of me and then somebody else came in so I couldn't go up to talk to them until afterwards. But communication was terrible between employees and I ended up walking out because I was there for 45 minutes without being seen. On top of that the people that were there after me got seen way before I did and when I mentioned that they said they would be with me shortly so I waited longer and then I wasn't seen again so I decided to leave. In my appointment I even booked emergency because I have a serious cavity and possibly an infection and I was extremely disappointed with the service. I would not recommend going there for routine or emergency visits. I felt very embarrassed just because I had to say something. I would not recommend.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Dubois is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Thompson, their contracted endodentist, might be the most useless medical professional I’ve witnessed first hand. If you go for cleanings, etc. then you’re good. If you need a root canal, you might be better off letting your neighbor try it in living room than letting Dr. Thompson look at your grill.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had several unexpected dental emergencies come up recently after having my wisdom teeth removed (not related to this office), and today I found myself needing a crown… on my birthday I also had a broken filling I wanted Dr. Dubois to check, and after taking a look, she recommended a root canal and crown for that tooth. We talked through all of my options in detail, especially considering my dental insurance had already run out for the year (of course ). When I explained I couldn’t move forward with the root canal right now, she truly went above and beyond to find a solution that would work for me financially while still taking care of the issue. We came up with a plan together, and she was able to treat me the same day, which I appreciated more than I can say. On top of that, the experience was just genuinely special. The girl at the front desk turned out to be my birthday twin, and after my appointment, the staff sang happy birthday to both of us and even offered me cake. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected moment during what could have been a really stressful day. Dr. Dubois is knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about her patients. I’m so grateful for the care I received and will absolutely continue coming here moving forward. Thank you, MMD

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience start to finish. I called to schedule a consultation for a treatment plan for my daughter to meet with the oral surgeon- I was told to send an email with the referral. After about 10 days and NO response I tried reaching out again to schedule. The scheduler who answered the phone was clueless and I kept stating “can you please refer to the email you asked me to send”. After that I should’ve listened to my gut and pulled the plug. I decided to go ahead and schedule and give them the benefit of the doubt. Huge mistake. The staff here is clueless, even my 14 year old said something. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Saw the Dentist on Wed and was told that I needed two root canals, which couldn't be done there since their Endodontist doesn't take my insurance. The dentist said she would send in a prescription for an antibiotic for me while I searched for an Endodontist covered by my insurance. The prescription wasn't sent in that day, I called later that evening to ask about it and the office was closed, so they said they would contact the on-call Dr. I got a message from the dentist on Mychart that she was sorry it didn't go through and she would resend it first thing Thurs when she got in at 7:30am. When I got off work Thurs I called because it still hadn't come through, and I was told the office had closed already and they would let the on-call Dr know to send it. I called an hour later because I hadn't heard anything and the pharmacy was closing soon and they just said they'd send another message to the on-call Dr. Still nothing. Fri comes around, I call at 12:50pm and am told that they're out of the office but they'll leave a message. I assume they're at lunch, since their listed hours online are till 4. I call back at 2:30 since I haven't heard back and am told the office closed at 1, but they'll let the on-call know. It's now Sat and still nothing has been done. I don't know if this is retaliation since I decided not to get my crown started there that day, since I didn't know how long it would take me to find an Endodontist. Which is good, since I'm having to file a complaint with my insurance company since they don't actually have any providers within 100 miles of me. I don't know, but I've given up hope of them sending in a prescription. I just think it's sad that they would play with someone's health and wellbeing like that. I'm seeing a different dentist on Monday and hopefully they'll actually help me.

Experiencia negativa: I really tried to like this practice but stay away. I transferred my entire family and saw the dentist for pain in my jaw months ago. They have done 2 root canals and overcharged me $2500 because my insurance was not run correctly. I have called for weeks and gotten no return call, they just keep leaving messages and saying whoever isn’t available. The best part is, my insurance company said we should not have had paid more than $250 per tooth. My mouth is still in pain in the exact same spot with swelling. So I was charged over $3k for them to fix absolutely nothing. The dentist herself and the endodontist were very friendly but the communication, overcharging and just throwing out root canals instead of looking at everything and trying to see what was going on was enough for me.

They responded See you soon, When I made my appointment online there is a comment section, Why you want to see the dentist. I stated my concerns , and also put my NEW dental insurance information, Since my insurance provider had changed... Since my last visit at Mason Modern Dentistry . I arrived early as they requested to save time for patent registration. The receptionest stated Doctor Akkab was not at that office today ???. My appointment was made at the Mason Modern Dentistry with Mr Akkab. The receptionest stated she called me. She did . I said I can play you the voicemail, She told me she knew what she said, I played it for the receptionest both of them.And showed them the time stamp on when she called the day before ..Nothing about my appointment..... She wanted my current insurance information. Which I already provided. No mention of Mr Akkab not being at this location that there was an appointment change or that I would have to be rescheduled.. I took off work early loss of pay and time. No apology offered..And that she should not be questioned and rolled her eyes... A dentist visit starts when you enter their office if you have incompetent lack luster employee. In handling the front office,It states what type of care you would receive once you left the office area and enter the dental chair..... SCARY thought. Go with your intuition and leave. Bottom line they cancell appointments with out any notice or communication to their patients.... Please read Mason Modern Dentistry reviews before considering going there. You would think it would be Mason Modern Dentistry best interest would be that someone from human resources contacting their clients to discuss your experience, and what can we do to earn your trust back as your dental provider. If they truly cared about their public aspect of maintaining good relations with their patients if they wanted to have a stellar reputation and grow their practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Every member of staff I have seen at this location and other locations of modern dentistry practices have been fantastic. Supportive, professional, kind and considerate as well as friendly and welcoming. I have had extractions, root canals and crown fittings and every one of them has been dealt with, without any issues. Ms. Dubois is extremely thorough, explaining all parts of the procedures, the status and the next steps clearly and ensures everything is fully understood before proceeding. I am very lucky to have her as my primary dentist. Mr. Thompson is friendly and laid me at ease at each visit with him. The most painless injections and root canals I have experienced anywhere! Mr. Lee is fantastic and supported me through some infections and re-installation of grafting and packing after an extraction site re-opened and his care and attention and timely follow up was second to none. The Dentists are also supported by a fantastic team of dental or certified dental assistants at each location who are also very skilled at what they do and also very friendly as well as treatment coordinators and patient care coordinators in the front of office who are also exceptional. These members of staff also rotate around the different locations in the area which ensures consistent care everywhere! Over all a wonderfully warm and friendly experience at every location and a very professional set of services delivered extremely well. I cannot rate this practice and other locations highly enough. A 6* review if I could!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m here to write a review because I’ve had the (un)fortunate opportunity to get two root canals in the same year. These five stars go SPECIFICALLY to Dr. Thompson, Ebony, Christian, and his whole Endo team! They made me feel so at ease, treated me like one of their friends, and constantly checked in to make sure I was doing OK and not in pain. After my first root canal in August, I called the office to let them know how much I appreciated their team. When I went back today, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Ebony and Christian like old friends! They went above and beyond making me feel comfortable at times where I thought it was going to be unbearable. I was so glad to be able to thank them face-to-face for the previous root canal treatment and for this one as well because they maintained their same level of care and compassion throughout the whole process. Thank you again, Dr. Thompson, Ebony, Christian, and the Endo team! Also, Mouhamadou (the operation manager) was extremely helpful. I had to call back multiple times with questions after each procedure and he was always patient and understanding when I was confused or when I called back for the third time of the day.

The dentist, Bilal Ahmed, did a wonderful job analyzing the situation, explaining everything and did a great job on the extractions. Making sure I was pain free as well. Mohammedo is an excellent office manager and explained the billing in detail answering any and all questions. Very pleasant, kind, smart, with a great sense of humor. Experiencia negativa: The management of this practice is seriously losing its standards. My family of six has been with this office for over two years, but lately it feels like they take patients for granted. We scheduled cleaning appointments two months in advance for a Saturday, because they said that was the only Saturday available each month and it worked with our schedule. Then, one hour before the appointment, they suddenly called and said it was “scheduled by mistake” because they don’t even have a hygienist on Saturdays. So why schedule it in the first place? We rearranged our entire day for this appointment, only to be told last minute that it couldn’t happen. After pushing back, they rescheduled us for Wednesday at 4:00 PM. We arrived 11 minutes late due to traffic, and the guy at the desk immediately said the hygienist wouldn’t take us because we were “15 minutes late.” Seriously? They can cancel a 2-month-old appointment one hour before, but can’t accommodate an 11-minute delay from a loyal patient family of six? This place clearly has zero respect for people’s time and absolutely no consistency or accountability. If you value your time and basic professionalism, take your business elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE—My dentist referred me to an endodontist for a potential fractured tooth. I called Mason Modern Dentistry because they were in my insurance’s network. After setting up an account, the lady said that she would forward my information to the scheduler for the endodontist since he only comes in once a month. A week had passed and I didn’t hear anything so I called and a gentleman who was helping out this location said that the endodontist was in and had me send my X-rays and referral to his office email so he could get me scheduled for a consultation with the endodontist. A week later I still hadn’t heard anything so I called only to talk to a different woman who scheduled me and then told me that I would have to see their dentist first before I could see the endodontist. Why would I need to see their dentist? I already had one and had the information and referral needed for the consultation to the endodontist. After going back and forth I told her to cancel the appointment and that I would take my business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing but a further delay in getting my dental issue addressed. It shows how much you genuinely care about your patients.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid This Office at All Costs I went to this dentist's office to get dentures, and it turned into a nightmare. The process took over a year, and after all that time, the dentures I received were completely unusable — they fit horribly, caused pain, and were impossible to wear. I am now left with no teeth, no usable dentures, and no resolution. Despite paying over $7,500, the doctor has refused to fix the issue or offer a refund that I officially requested. I’ve been left without teeth, without proper care, and without any accountability from this office. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and responsibility is shocking. This has been a devastating experience, both financially and emotionally. I would strongly urge anyone considering this office to look elsewhere. You deserve better care, better communication, and better results than what I received.

Experiencia negativa: Shameful experience from start to finish! My dentist for decades was a wonderful dentist and human being, but more recently, I had neglected my teeth for years, partly because of a few horrible experiences after my dentist retired. I developed a bad toothache that forced me to find a dentist near my home. His office checked my insurance, and scheduled an appointment. I found out after the fact that this practice wasn't even covered under my policy, but they didn't bother to tell me. The young staff was friendly, but that's the extent of my praise for this practice. The dentist gave me no confidence at all in his competence, but he recommended 2 extractions with material filler, as well as some additional services. Then he had a young man come in to try to sell me on absurdly expensive services, when I just wanted the pain to go away. I told him I only wanted the extractions, and that we were in the process of buying a house, and that I'd have to break up the bill into a few payments. That was before I saw the absurd price of $1,600. What's the point of having dental insurance, I thought to myself. I was told that the specialist who did the extractions with fillers wasn't available, so the dentist would be doing it. That was a mistake! He gave me no confidence that he had done this procedure in years. When I went home, I was still in significant pain for several days. I wasn't told by the Doctor or staff that they called in a prescription, so I was still miserable. My pharmacy called 4 days later to say they have meds for me. I'm STILL in pain 4 months later, most of the filler material fell out, and one of the cavities collapsed. But the worst part is that, after paying $1,200 of the $1,600 in 2 and a half months, just as I told them I would, I received a notice in the mail from a collections agency they had sent me to collections. That's shameful! I've NEVER taken advantage of a service provider, not even a BAD one! And I had -- before this fiasco -- a credit score over 800. Does someone who's trying to take advantage pay 75% of the bill in 2 and a half months? I tried SIX times to call the dentist office to pay the balance, and they NEVER ONCE took my call or returned my call! Just a shameful experience from a practice that obviously cares more about bringing in money than about caring for their patients. Just a shameful experience!!

The office tries to get you to do services that they are not the best for. Save your crowns and special work for specialists and not here.

Experiencia negativa: Go anywhere else. I had been at my previous dentist less than a month earlier for a crown. Time for bi annual checkup but they no longer accept my insurance. Found this place. Arrived for checkup. I didn't get any cleaning done but was presented with a schedule for 12 appointments like I was joining a health club. The "appointments" ranged from $50 to $6000. My previous dentist never mentioned anything about dying from not getting any of the services this con job described. I felt like I was at a used car lot dealing with the sales team. Wasted my time.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed. I came in for a simple filling and whitening, but Dr. Ahmed suggested me to get a crown instead. Not only has it been four months and eight visits with no results, but Dr Ahmed also shaved down a healthy tooth next to it by mistake—which completely ruined my smile. Since then, it's been one mistake after another. Wrong color, wrong shape, wrong size—every time. And every time they just say, “We’ll reorder it, come back in 3 weeks.” No urgency, no real care. This whole process has made me so insecure, especially with meetings, video calls, and even dates. And the filling they did on the healthy front tooth doesn’t even match my other teeth—it looks awful. I’ve never felt more frustrated and ignored by a dental office. No personalized care, no accountability. Just a waste of time and emotional stress.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the most thorough exam and cleaning of my life, complete with solid education. Neither the doctor nor the dental assistant was rushed. Throughly took X-rays and pictures of all my mouth and discussed everything in depth. Very impressed and happy with my first visit.

Instead of getting my teeth cleaned, they only took X-rays and then sent me home—no cleaning, no clear explanation, just a promise to reschedule. To make matters worse, I later received a $50 bill for that incomplete visit. I was never told there would be a charge just for X-rays, especially when the main service I came for wasn’t provided. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and the lack of transparency was extremely frustrating. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for honest, reliable dental care.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience every time I go here. Dr. Ahmed is incredibly dismissive and paternalistic and always runs super behind and gives no updates that he is behind. Gaslighted me when I said I could still feel the filling in my bite, just brushing it off because there was no "contact" when the paper you bite on. It doesn't matter if there's no contact if I can FEEL it. But I didn't have enough time to get it properly fixed because it took 3.5 hours to get a crown and filling, though of course they didn't start until 45 minutes after the appointment time. And I inexplicably had to wait for 30 minutes at a time several times for no clear reason. Some of the wait was making and then baking the crown, but that was only about 40 minutes of the 3.5 hours. The rest was wait time alone in the room with no explanation, while I can hear him in other rooms with other patients down the hall. It took 2 hours for a simple "continuing care" visit, just a mouth exam, again partially because I didn't see Dr. Ahmed until 45 minutes into the appointment time even though I was there early. The assistant who took X-rays took 5 X-rays that weren't uploading into the computer, she later realized was because the mouth guard x-ray guide was not even plugged in. She had to retake all those X-rays. That is way too many extra X-rays I received to my head and neck area simply due to incompetence and rushing. She also got mad at me for not biting the guard properly even though she put it in haphazardly and it was not aligned properly, but then she blamed me. A general trend is also that the dentists there over-prescribe treatments and fillings, crowns, etc. compared to other dentists, many of whom would suggest waiting for awhile before intervening, and I think all to try to make more money. The bios of all the dentists reference using "the lastest technology" and it's called Mason Modern Dentistry, but latest technology does not always equal best care. They are too much into their technology at the expense of good patient care and the right thing to do. I truly cannot recommend this place to anyone. It feels like a scam every time I go. I would give zero stars if I could.

The plan was to extract all four wisdom teeth, and I had secured pre-authorization with a copay of just over $300. However, about 30 minutes into the appointment—after only receiving anesthesia—the procedure was stopped. I was told that I was moving too much and the extraction could not be performed. As a result, no teeth were removed, and insurance did not cover the visit. I ended up paying nearly $300 out-of-pocket for a procedure that never actually happened. This is a significant amount for me, especially considering the current economic challenges many of us are facing. What makes it more frustrating is that I had no pain or issues with my wisdom teeth. I only proceeded based on the doctor's recommendation, and now I deeply regret that decision. I walked away with no treatment and a substantial financial loss. I hope others consider all aspects carefully before committing to similar procedures at this office.

It really makes a world of a difference as a patient having wonderful staff who are not only conversational but are also thorough with explanations—which Noah and Bri excel at each time. My visits with Dr. Ahmed as well are worthwhile as he is very knowledgeable and provides ease through planned procedures which is exactly what every patient needs. I highly recommend this office and will continue to get my dental care here!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother had a wonderful experience with the root canals procedure done by Dr. Thompson and she is very pleased with the results. Mom was scared because she had a real bad root canal experience elsewhere and being intolerant to anesthesia added extra stress but Dr. Thompson made sure to do to whatever he could to ease up the pain and made her comfortable throughout the whole process. He even stayed later after his normal schedule to fit my mother in for another root canal that needed done on short notice since mom was traveling to Vietnam for a few months and was wanting to take care of it before it get even worse. Experiencia fantástica: An absolutely amazing place!!! I had a cracked wisdom tooth that was causing the worst pain I had ever experienced in my life. Bri got me in same day, they numbed me, got me antibiotics and got me scheduled asap to have it removed. When I went back to have it pulled the dentist explained everything in detail about what he had to do and possible noises I would hear since it was cracked. Everyone was so beyond nice and made sure I stayed calm. The entire team was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. I will never go anywhere else again and will now be taking my son there as well❤️

They told me I need to have a root canal to save my tooth. They sat down and made a plan with me to fix everything. It will be a while but it will be fixed. No thanks to Mason modern. Go to Cedar Village Dentistry they know what they are taking about

Experiencia fantástica: This is part of a group with a few Greater Cinti offices but I have only been to this one in Mason. My mom goes here 3-4x per year (on Medicare w/OSB) - they helped resolve her gum disease - she is a disabled senior and she loves them and recommended I go. They are gentle for her and take a lot of time to do cleanings. I went in for a simple cleaning, but as a new patient got xrays and a full treatment plan. Technology at this office is seriously advanced, compared to my previous dentist offices. I was a bit surprised because, driving up to it, the office itself is rather unassuming. Anyway, Dr. Akkad was kind, insightful and very detailed. Found stuff I knew from previous dentist but also new issues they either missed last year or didn't prioritize. The hygienist (Daniela for both of us) is great, good advice from her!, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. No billing shocks for me and my mom, either, which is a huge deal for us. Patient charges have been just what they say to expect or close enough. All in all, I can't speak to their other offices (they should be fine too?) but I do recommend this office in Mason.

Experiencia negativa: Based on reviews, I became a patient of Mason Modern Dentistry in October last year. I had a filling that had come out and they could see me fast. This was one of the worst health decision I've ever made. - I had ridiculously long appointment times. My first took over 4 hours. It became a running joke with my wife, "Off to the dentist? See you tomorrow." - They did a pulpectomy to "prevent" pain for the lost filling since they said it would need a root canal. I wasn't in pain before, but the pulpectomy left me in terrible, "stay-up-all-night" pain for 2 months while I waited for endodontist appointments. I had to take ibuprofen and tylenol around the clock. - A later endodontist took an xray of this work and said, "it just looks...strange. Did something happen during your appointment? why did they only do part of it?". - Before I went to that external endodontist, the Mason Modern Dentistry endodontist refused to treat me when my appointment finally arrived. They use wrist blood pressure monitors and it showed an absurdly high blood pressure for me, which on retaking it after 3 minutes varied by 40 mmHg in the lower number. They refused to give the root canal that would end my months of tormenting pain and said I should take a valium and reschedule for the next month. Concerned about my health now, I consulted with my GP doctor who told me those kind of changes are "not how blood pressure works" and "wrist readings are much less accurate, it was definitely the machine, not you." He took my blood pressure and it was completely normal. So I decided to use a different endodontist office for the actual root canal, which went fine. - During my last appointment, the dentist asked for a tip on an instrument to be replaced. The assistant replaced it and he resumed working. A minute later, after it had been used in my mouth, he said wait, this is a used tip. Then he had a conversation with the assistant about the importance of not reusing tips between patients. - The business side is either mismanaged or intentionally confusing. I was constantly told different amounts I owed, one time $1,000 more than they had told me and reviewed with me, and that it was due right then before my procedure or I couldn't have it. I asked what changed and they couldn't explain why. A few minutes of typing and now it says just 600 is owed. Again I asked what changed, they said they didn't know. Another time I asked ahead of time and was told in writing that I owed nothing more, then after the appointment a few hours later suddenly almost 200 more was due. They can not or will not give a simple statement of charges vs payments, which I asked for repeatedly. Once when I asked for the account summary in writing, I was handed a post-it note with a number written on it! TL;DR I went from no pain with a broken filling to a 4-month ordeal of incredible pain, high bills, and long, stress-filled visits. I ended up with acceptable dentist work but the road there was awful and expensive.

Experiencia negativa: Addendum to my initial review: this practice has declined with practice operations. They simply do not know how to plan the man minutes per patient and possibilities in relation to hygienists. I had a 1p appt taken for exam timely. After my initial exam it was recommended I receive a treatment plan amounting to over $2000. Consult with the financial insurance staffer was clear concise and fair. The issue is as man minutes continued I was not alerted that this surprise consult for this expensive treatment counted toward my initial appt reason which was my cleaning! After 1 hour and 22 mins. I was told the dentist and hygienist had moved on to other patients and I would have to wait to receive a cleaning for about 40 mins! I overheard the sell to other patients for the same expensive uncovered treatment as I sat waiting. Guess we all got the same teeth and treatment needs or the rep for the bacterial treatment is really good with incentives! I now am left to find someone to clean my teeth. Which puts my dental health at risk to wait longer to get clean teeth. I’ve never had a cavity by the way. Have always had deep pockets in the gums and bringing them back has always been chronic process. I would not recommend this practice any further. Decline since my initial visit. Operations manager should get six sigma or project management training. Had to give this place a try after change in insurance. So impressive! I am a fan of cutting edge technology and modern solutions for a brighter smile! Treatment plans are affordable and most insurance widely accepted. Dr Amed was super knowledgeable and my hygienist was gentle and did a great cleaning. Practice staff is great as well. Michelle the manager is kind and welcoming. She seems to be very experienced in scheduling, prior auth and coding ! Thanks Mason Modern Dentistry- Yea you are!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ahmed is outstanding and so is the dental hygienist that worked with me. I apologize for not knowing their name she was wearing UC scrubs! After years of non-routine dental care, I finally got real dental insurance and a real dentist. I have been skipping from cheap and CareSource covered dentists for years under my parents' insurance and was never properly told why my teeth were having issues. Turns out you think you know your teeth and then someone shows you how to floss under your gumline...also my gums suck not most of my teeth :). Regarding some negative reviews about cost. Know your insurance benefits. Know you out of pocket premiums and maxes. I have my employer's highest dental coverage and I still needed to pay my share after insurance. I could afford that luxury and I know there are many that cannot, that is understandable. I highly recommended the OSU walk in Dental Clinic unless you need a root canal urgently. Unfortunately, most dental procedures are a luxury because your insurance wants you to pull the tooth and have dentures. There is Medicare that cover the basics, but you must be Medicare age or disabled; or Medicaid which will only cover pulling bad teeth or waiting 5 months for any root canal (not just rear teeth) at Ohio State or UC. By then you will lose that tooth anyways. I lost one of those teeth that UC "saved" by root canaling and lived with a rotting tooth hole for over 4 years. Mason Modern grafted the bone and gum back so that when I save some money (and my insurance benefit renews) I can get an implant on that site next year. If you are one of the rest of the adults with dental care needs, some form of dental insurance or not, hop on the boat, this place will work with you to make it more reasonable and will offer payment plans and they use care credit. My girlfriend and I got a care credit card for vet bills, has come in handy. So far my out of pocket is around 3200 for a root canal, crown, 2 periodontal cleanings, a bone graft, bone graft material (separate charge), gum graft, gum graft membrane (separate), surgical tooth extracted (was a root canal tooth "saved" by UC that rotted away); three cleanings, and a few firm handshakes. My insurance paid a lot for all of that work. Medicaid would not even cover the surgical extraction because it was tooth #2. I still have Medicaid for another few months. It's completely useless outside basic cleanings.

Experiencia negativa: I have been getting regular cleaning for past 20 years and it’s the first time doctor didn’t want to do it and wanted me to do upgraded cleaning and charging $700 . I never had someone not do cleaning , don’t recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I paid $12k for six crowns and I’ve had to have 3 of them replaced more than once! Highly don’t reccomend them for any dental work. The phot with this is from 8/23/24 they wouldn’t even come in on an emergency.

Experiencia positiva: The crown is still feeling rough 10 days later, maybe it should have been polished. The dentist said I had a cavity on the back of the front upper tooth next to the tooth they install a crown. They never mentioned this after the x-rays on my initial visit . The spot looked to me where the dentist hit it with the drill when grinding the tooth for the crown. When I questioned the dentist, he looked at the tooth it and said it wasn't a cavity ( the dentist looked at the x-ray said it looked like a cavity but didn't look at the tooth with his own eyes) Fortunately my insurance cover the cost. I'm not so sure the previous tooth repair was bad and needed to be replaced. Then twice I was asked which color shade I wanted for my crown with a mirror and not the best lighting to make a choice. I think they should have suggested the closest match and confirmed with me. Why asked twice? I think they may be looking for things to be done to increase revenue. Maybe not?

Experiencia negativa: Went in for basic semi-annual check up and cleaning. Extremely poor customer service, poor communication. Took a ton of X-rays and apparently a CT, saying insurance covers it all; then they bill me for the CT which is NOT covered as well as some sort of “instruction” that wasn’t covered either. Preventative dental care is 100% covered by my insurance, but I somehow still owe close to $500?! Scam. Also felt like I was going to drown during the cleaning- very unusual place. Do not recommend.
