Experiencia negativa: Waiting two months for a new patient cleaning appointment and was told to call and reschedule less than a week out. Then to find out they can only reschedule into late February or early March.. so I wait two months for the initial appointment and then have to wait an additional two months for a scheduling error I cannot control? I would hope to at least be fit in within the same week or maybe even next but evidently they don’t need new business.

Dr. Marcel and his staff kept me completely calm during the visit. I can't say enough about how well they not only treat the patient, but how well they take care of family members keeping them informed on what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Lesueur and his staff to anyone, especially if you have anxiety about it. Wonderful personalities and they made me feel like I was their only patient. Keep up the great work!

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Afinia, Mason for past 5 years. My son has been in acute gum pain all weekend. We managed till Monday and I called them first thing in the morning for an appointment but they don’t have anything for a week. If they can’t save few appointments for emergency purpose and cant be accommodative, it’s absolutely ridiculous and sad. I guess, They just don’t care for their patients enough.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away! INSURANCE SCAMMERS. There's a new dentist every 6-months, the staff doesn't know what they are doing. On top of being the worst dentist practice I've ever visited, their billing department is either inept or intentionally scamming insurance. Both my wife and now myself are in a months long battle over incorrect billing.. our insurance provider is now involved because Afinia will not make themselves available to correct the issue. AVOID THIS PLACE! Edit: Addressing the response from Afinia below - I've called and left messages starting weeks ago. Having watched my wife go through this with you for months and months, I know Ashley and Michelle are never around and rarely ever return phone calls. When they do return phone calls, the issues persist or get worse. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! So I'll keep screaming you are scammers until YOU correct the issues.

All aspects of my treatment program were explained to me and I was asked several times if had questions so I was clear on what was being proposed. Laurie was especially helpful in making my visit informative and relaxing.

However, I do wish there was an after hours number where I could’ve spoken with a person about a problem on a Friday. Had to wait until Monday to be able to reach someone.

Experiencia fantástica: I have gone to this place for dental services for YEARS, loved it when I was a brand new patient (maybe around 20 years ago?), and even through its transitions over the years, I still love it, and would never want to settle for anything less than the stellar treatment they give. I am a HUGE advocate and fan of Afinia Dental, Mason, OH. These people and their work are amazingly wonderful, and from my experience, it has always been this way. I've also recommended them to others who have fallen in love with this place too.

Experiencia positiva: I have come to this clinic for years and the dental hygiene staff is excellent. However I recently had an extraction done and formed multiple blood clots from the procedure that got stuck on the sutures. There is no after hours emergency line and they are closed on Friday's. After multiple voicemails I even called another one of their locations (listed as open) and to my disbelief they also do not see any patients on Friday. I finally got into a new dentist who was able to help the situation properly. No one from the location ever called or checked in after the invasive procedure and the ER was only going to give antibiotics. I expected much more from this location.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited Afinia-Mason for the 1st time. From Maggie at the front desk to Laurie and Dr. Lesueur, I felt very welcomed. Maggie helped me with paperwork and Laurie offered me a pillow and blanket to make my appointment more comfortable. Laurie also gave me great tips from flossing, brushing techniques to teeth whitening options. DR. L put my mind at ease with explanations during the exam. I randomly searched for a new dentist office and was very pleased I chose Afinia-Mason!

He was very friendly and did a great job with my root canal and CROWN. Very concerned for my comfort during the procedure. Overall very good experience. His support staff also were great.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency and needed to have crowns on my front teeth replaced. Dr. Runyan and the staff at Afinia did a great job. They were able to get me in the office the same day to start the process and contacted the same lab that my previous dentist (located out of state) used to make the crowns. I love my new crowns just as much as the originals and they were able to work with my insurance company to minimize my out of pocket expenses.

I spent many years relocating to different parts of the USA and this group is the by far the one that has your best interests and comfort at the core of their practice. My experience here was the best because I have had bad fillings in the past done my previous dentist and I didn’t know how would a perfect filling feel like and I’m so glad I went there. Right from the Xray, they did what was needed also corrected few spots from my previous fillings which was off textured. Getting an appointment is not tough either.

Experiencia negativa: We are now searching for a new dentist office. This place has been through a few doctors, not a huge deal. Today, I went in for evaluation of pain, root canal. I was referred to an endodontist, no big deal. Upon leaving, I asked "is the referred endodontist in network for my insurance?", "I don't know, you'll have to call". Maybe I've been spoiled in the last 50 years and scheduling for my family of 6, but this check and initial phone call has been done on my behalf by the dentist office. I called the referred to endodontist, "no, we are out of network." This is enough for me to look elsewhere for dental services.

Experiencia negativa: I was completely grossed out!!! They like to wear headsets to communicate to the different teams in the office. For them to talk they have to press the talk button on headset cable. So working on me, gloves covered in my germs, she continuously would press the button to talk. All of the sudden I realized she does this for each patient so that button is covered in germs and shared with all patients. My previous hygienist would take her glove off to talk.

They take my Humana/Medicare and when it is not something covered they honor what the insurance company says the price should be. I am always surprised to the good. I have been screwed so many other times by dentists that lead me on. Boy where has Afinia been all my life. Thanks guys. A dedicated client for life.

Like lot’s of people, not the bravest when it comes to my dentist visits, but Jamie and Dr.Runyan immediately put me at ease and made my visit a lot less stressful than I had convinced myself it would be. The staff is VERY nice and they always make you feel welcome. They do a great job of answering questions and are very patient. I never experienced any issues or pain with procedures. They had a card and balloons waiting in the room. The entire office signed it. The doctor and the office staff is amazing!!! Talk about above and beyond!!! Not to mention, they explained all the financials beforehand and sent the plan email, before l returned. No-one likes going to the dentist, but it really can't get any better than Afinias Mason office! Oh and the office is gorgeous, wood floors, decorated like a home, not a medical facility. 5 stars if that's as high as it goes!!!

Experiencia fantástica: ALWAYS EXCELLENT!! Afinia Dental has the most Friendly staff! I’ve never really enjoyed going to the dentist. I would assume that’s familiar to many people. Afinia Dental continues to impress me (even after 5 years !) with their gentle work. Additionally I’m even more appreciative, as their staff communicates with you the entire time about what’s going on etc. You're never left guessing or wondering. I’ve been to many dentist offices and Afinia truly sets the bar. I doubt I’ll ever find another to match them. If it weren’t for me moving, I would HONESTLY never leave this dental office/practice!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great office staff that is very efficient. They will find a way to get you in quickly when you have a dental issue. Dental staff is very friendly and caring. Dr. Runyon is wonderful. She is very through and compassionate. I highly recommend this office
