I have an overbite and in the past it has always been very difficult for my dentists to make my bite comfortable for me. It was like she didn’t quite know how to interact with people, she was rather socially awkward and both my husband and I felt it. It wouldn’t deter us from going to this dentist office but it was awkward. I am so delighted to see there is a new girl at the front desk now! Diane is fantastic. So attentive, she greeted me right away, and also very pleasant to talk to. Such a great change!

Michelle has been excellent in trying to fight for our benefits even when the insurance company plays hardball. Dr. Pham is very knowledgeable and his friendliness makes every procedure, even not so comfortable ones easier. I was having trouble getting numb for a crown recently. And he immediately stopped drilling and injected me again. But instead of drilling afterwards, he did the numb test to see if I was numb before proceeding again. It puts me at ease that he is make every effort to eliminate potential pain as much as possible. I recommend this dentist for anyone who has a history of dental issues.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Vo and Dr. Pham did great work on the couple fillings and a couple crown replacements they've done for me. I have been especially impressed by the time they've taken to do the finishing adjustments to ensure my bite feels great, with no sensitivity! Additionally, all the staff is incredibly friendly and do great work too. I really enjoy interacting with all of them each time. I've seen two hygienists for over a decade now. They always do great work and genuinely want to know how I've been. Because of this I still keep coming to this dental office, despite living 25 miles away now.

Experiencia negativa: DON’T GO! I’ll start with the cons: 1. Waited an hour, and I was literally the only one there. 2. The rooms are dirty, everything looks old and in need of maintenance. 3. My front tooth is grayish from a prior root canal. I told Dr. Vo I wanted internal bleaching. He said he’d only done that once and immediately tried to sell me on full upper-mouth veneers. So instead of starting with bleach, he tried to sell me on a $8000-10000 veneer job. I wonder why? Dr. Vo tells me I have 6 cavities and never comes up with a plan for the other gray tooth I wanted resolved. 4. I made the app for a cleaning. After 1.5 hours and going through the initial people, I found out I was not getting any cleaning, just looked at. 5. Went to the front to schedule the follow up and mentioned that I had made this appointment specifically for a cleaning. She said she told me on my call that there was no guarantee I’d have a cleaning done. I told her I don’t recall being told that, but she insisted. Funny how I don’t remember that part when I specifically called to have a cleaning done. 6. Other lady hands me my treatment plan, which had 6 cavities listed but also a large expense for a crown that was never discussed. She said this is what the dentist told me. I said we never talked about a crown. They got the dentist and he came up to tell me he changed his mind and thought a crown was the way to go. Even though we never talked about a crown during the appointment. 7. After such an unpleasant, indecisive and awkward experience I decided to see another dentist. I called to get my x-rays. She asked if I was seeing another dentist. I said yes. She then asked when my appointment was. I told her it was in 2 days. She puts me on hold. Comes back and says they could email them to me but not for about 4 days and I have to pay $15 and that it’s usually a 2 week wait because they are always so busy. I said I’d come pick them up then. She said no they can only email. I said “The x-ray images are already saved, you just drag them into an email and hit send, right? That should take less than a minute.” She agrees with me, then smugly says 4 days was still the best she could do. Pros: The hygienist, X-ray lady and other lady that came in the room were very nice and professional. Final thoughts: Very unprofessional group. Dentist seemed clueless and just trying to find a way to create a bill. Seems as though if they can’t make enough money off you their service is no longer given. No idea how this place has good reviews. I would never come back and I would never refer anyone, unless I really didn’t like them.

Experiencia fantástica: Couldn't have ask for a more gentle dentist. I was also very nervous because of my previous dentist visit from other facilities, this dentist put me at ease and was super gentle.

Experiencia negativa: Awful experience! Went in for a routine appointment- as a NEW patient and new to the area- left learning about multiple cavities (that were bothersome) . Returned for fillings. 24 hours after fillings, returned AGAIN due to sensitivity and unable to bite or talk comfortably without sensitivity to the worked area. Explained my feelings, mentioned my anxiety towards dental procedures...after removing a high spot in the filling, Dr. disregarded all of my complaints, told me I should wait a couple days for "things to settle". Now home, 1.5 hours later and I can't talk without sensitivity, and definitely NOT eat anything on the effected side.

So even after all the Pandemic issues, closures, changes and adjustments, this staff has still managed to keep their cool. To be as friendly as ever, I am still impressed how professional the entire staff is and how family friendly it is! Any questions or concerns on your insurance or service provided, they always take the time to help me. Starting with Jessica the receptionist, to Michelle in billing, LeAnn the dental hygienist, Dr. John is also super friendly and takes his time to any all our questions and concerns, to the rest of the staff, I didn't forget you! You are also awesome! Thank you for always being so friendly and courteous when my youngest daughter was so nervous about going in.

Experiencia negativa: Read to the end, please. After going to their office for two years, I had to reschedule the last appointment. I receive a reminder the day before, as usual, and I either confirm or reschedule. In the last one, I needed to reschedule because I was just diagnosed with cancer and have a lot going n. I knew I wouldn't make it to the dentist that day, so I asked to reschedule. They sent another reminder the same day, and when I called to clarify why they didn't receive the cancellation message, they said, ohh that was a courtesy reminder, and I would have called them two days ahead. So, they ask you to contact us 48 hours on, but they send you a reminder ONLY 18 hours before your appointment. SHE (Jessica) SAID, “IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE CANCER.” How nasty can someone be?

Experiencia negativa: **Edit to add that my review was fair and accurate. I had no issues with the insurance. I was happy with the work, and I stated that. However, the staff made me incredibly uncomfortable and it's telling that they're so defensive about that. No apologies and no acceptance of responsibility for their unprofessionlism.** Over the last several weeks, I have had the worst experiences with Inland Dental Group. I've never been fearful of going to the dentist in my (over) 30 years of life, but now I have to take medication before being seen and have left in tears the last three visits due to the treatment I've had here. They claim to explain things to you, but there's a new surprise every time you walk into their office. The "explanations" provided are done in a way that's difficult for someone who doesn't work in a dentist's office to understand. Perhaps the staff thinks they are being clear, but in reality, they aren't. When I asked for explanations, I felt talked down to as if I was supposed to understand what they had said in the first place, and because I didn't and had to clarify often, I was literally referred to as "dazed and confused" by a staff member. When I was in for a second appointment for four additional fillings I didn't understand I needed, one of their staff used my (infrequent) smoking to explain why I had so many cavities after being "cavity-free" for the last ten years. Whether it was intended or not, she was highly condescending and unhelpful. I later understood my misunderstanding and appreciated the doctor was thorough, but the situation could've been handled differently. Their office staff is friendly but in a fake and condescending way. While being seen by the doctor, the staff can be heard loudly talking and laughing as if it's happy hour. Two techs were gossiping in Spanish (which I can understand) while taking my X-rays. I'm all for having a good time at work and enjoying your coworkers; however, their unprofessional behavior made me feel uncomfortable. The assistants seem either new or poorly trained. I witnessed the doctor roll his eyes several times and get snappy when his assistant did things incorrectly. The office was clean, but besides the hygienist, no one, including the doctor, washed their hands upon entering the room before touching me. They did wear gloves. Overall, the actual work done by the doctor and hygienist (Leanne, who's the best part of that office) was good. After getting my fillings done, I still have bite issues on my left side, but I'm too stressed and anxious about going back (again) to have it fixed. If you're new to Inland Dental, I'd recommend being very specific about any questions you have about procedures and price. If you don't feel like you're being heard, go somewhere else. I should've done that, but I got stuck with them until my services were complete due to insurance issues.

Experiencia negativa: NO personal attention at this office, no matter how many tens of thousands of dollars you have already spent with them per year, the $225 New Year's Pass includes a "surprise" and a $2100 fee for a deep cleaning and no one wants to think about Why ? P.S. all dentists in LA, California go through the same courses and years of qualifications, so why is it that most LA dental offices cost $150-$300 for deep cleaning (for the job), and your office thinks to charge people over $2100 dollars for it, is that ok? Do you really think (from your office) that the rest of the dentists are bad?

Dr. John was very patient when explaining my issues and took the time to listen to me. 2nd Visit - Deep cleaning with Leann and she was amazing. Answered all my questions and addressed my worries. I suffer from migraines and really dreaded this visit but it was great and nothing like I expected. It's been 4 hours, all numbing gone and so far so good. Next visit Monday for left side cleaning... not nervous.

I had neglected my teeth for years and needed pretty substantial work done in order to restore them back to "normal". He is very detail oriented and takes a lot of pride in his work which is reflected in the end product. My top front teeth were all crowned, and the end result was very aesthetic and natural looking. Dr. John made sure everything not only looked great, fit perfect, but also made it so I no longer have a gap in my teeth which I was always self-conscious about. My smile looks the better than ever, and I could not recommend Inland Dental Group more!
