Experiencia fantástica: I was very impressed by the advanced technology. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I had a baby seizure as I call them while I was in the chair. Something I deal with from time to time but they really made me as comfortable as I could be. allowed me to take my time and wait for help to arrive and aid me home. That meant a lot to me. I’m not sure why I get embarrassed when it happens in public but it happens. I’m grateful to everyone for checking on me and being very kind. Thank you

The dentist gave me three options, versus just the one I got at my former office, and was so nice about answering all my questions. He filled my tooth that day. The office staff is very nice and welcoming. Update- I have now been coming to this office for over a year and still highly recommend. Kylee Is my hygienist and she is all things wonderful. I am now taking my daughter here since she is no longer needing a pediatric dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I know of no greater recommendation for a dentist than this: A patient willing to drive over 2 hours one way to be treated by true professionals! The truth is, I'd even fly if I had to. So many positives in their approach. For one thing, no vague hazy x-ray as an excuse for expensive treatment. You will see your problem tooth up close, in color on a screen just a few feet away. Dentists here consult with other dentists about your problem. Cutting edge materials, magic wands etc. Lol! My sensitive tooth was totally fixed and an old crown was replaced. Again, they showed me the old crown, it was shot. Both crowns, once seated had a PERFECT bite. No awkward off sides issue, perfect. Dr. Fountain was my dentist. But I hear they are all very good. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

From the time I walked in I was welcomed by very friendly, helpful ladies and manager. The "new patient exam" was extremely thorough. The best, exceptional hygienist and x-ray technician I've ever had. Dr. Fountain is brilliant, kind and caring. He spent long time listening to my dental history following with a detailed x-ray diagnosis and the next treatment. Thank you for such a great experience!

The staff there is very accommodating. I've had filling replaced and a couple of root canals and crowns done, and I have nothing but praise for Dr. Fountain and everyone else there. Appointments are on time and they don't "lose" your appointment. I like the text and post card reminders. As far as dentists go, it doesn't get any better.

Experiencia fantástica: I am 70 years old and hadn't seen a dentist since mine retired. My bridge collapsed, and my face started swelling. I didn't know where to go a week before Christmas. My daughters and their families all go to Dr. Fountain at Claremont Dental Institute. My daughter called them and they had an emergency appointment available. All the staff members were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. The office is top of the line. and there are many treatment options available. I have been fearful of most dentists, but this was a very relaxing experience. I was extremely satisfied and hope to continue going there.

Experiencia fantástica: I made an appointment on behalf of my wife for an evaluation to determine if the Western University was able to accommodate her dental needs. Unfortunately, my wife's condition is further along that the head dentist recommended that she be seen at Loma Linda University school of dentistry. What we appreciated during our visit was that they were up front on how their services provided were at the school pace and not a practicing professional. Everyone was professional from the front desk to the student doctors & nurses. In closing, the patient service provided are for patients who do not require immediate attention and have the flexibility to be seen according to availability.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this place. The dental " professionals " admitted they did not have the expertise to remove certain wisdom teeth and provide a referral to a more competent dentist. On the way out a staff member insisted we pay for the visit even though our insurance covered it. After discussing it with them on the phone they admitted they made a mistake and issued a refund. They were rude in office and rude on the phone. One of them was " northern " from the movie Django if you know what I mean .

I was not expecting the bad news of major dental work but it was presented by the dentist. He had reviewed the X-ray, but up on a exam of my actual tooth he also offered another option that could be successful. During the procedure I feel safe and comfortable. Experiencia fantástica: I started coming here when my childhood dentist, for whom I continued to drive out from the Westside as an adult, started phasing out his private practice in preparation for retirement and joined Claremont Dental Institute.. His name was Dr. Mertens and he was better than any dentist I visited in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. He set the bar high for my expectations of professional standards and personable interaction and concern. So I sure do miss him, but the dentists, hygienists, and office staff at Claremont Dental Institute have all lived up to the very high standards that Mertens set for me. Visits are always very pleasant and comfortable, with attentive and compassionate professional care. The state-of-the art equipment, comfortable chairs, warm decor, and soothing ocean videos all enhance the experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and always mention this place when dentistry enters conversations.

Experiencia fantástica: The hygienist asked questions about my current health, took an x-ray where I had had an extraction, and consulted with the doctor. He explained that I needed a root canal because of an infection. Not what I expected, but we discussed my options, and he gave me a referral to a dental surgeon. The hygienist then cleaned my teeth with no discomfort and sent me on my way. I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

I unfortunately been to several dentist who have given me the run around and had poor patient care, Dr. Fountain and Dr. Durski take it to a whole new level! Experiencia fantástica: This place is the gold standard for dental care. I have super sensitive teeth and even fear regular cleanings. My hygienist Shelly, is empathetic and kind rather than a impatient like other dental offices I’ve been to. She gives me a topical analgesic which makes my experience pain free. She works quickly so I’m not dreading that horrible zing of pain. Dr. Fountain is a prince. Positive, professional and wonderful. You will not be disappointed here.

As a new patient, I never thought they would accept me as an emergency case and replace my crown. They not only accepted me within one hour of my phone call but placed a new temporary crown on my tooth and I was attending the meeting with the bank president that afternooon. Experiencia fantástica: Two words....sooo gentle! Pain free dentistry exists without nitrous oxide or anesthesia. My dentist, Dr Steve Fountain, has taken me from someone with high anxiety and tears from the moment I enter the office, to one who can sleep the night before an appointment and then sit in the chair without having tears run down my cheeks. In addition, his assistant was as gentle as he! No pain! And no anesthesia. I travel 1 1/2 hours to have my dental care here! I’ve been coming for 3 years. Every experience has only contributed to the reduction in my anxiety and the ability to trust in pain-free dentistry. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Steve Fountain, his assistant or the office staff!

Experiencia negativa: Industrial production line dentistry. First time in, after x-rays, I saw and time with a hygienist, a dentist came in and spent..... 45 seconds with me. He look at the x-rays and said, "you have no cavities," then got up and left! Second time, I got a minute and a half with a dentist who told me I should get a new crown. When I stopped and went to a place where a dentist actually spent time with me, it turned out I did need a crown... on another tooth!!! (It was cracked and the Claremont Dental Institute missed it. Maybe if they'd taken more than 90 seconds....

Experiencia fantástica: The team at Claremont Dental Institute was very pleasant to work with. I came in for my very first visit for X-rays and a cleaning. Check-in was easy and I didn't have to wait around like I did at my old dentist. The X-ray tech was out to greet me at my exact appointment time. She walked me through the process (even though I'm familiar with it) and completed my X-rays quickly. The Dentist came out to review them with me and answer my questions. He was patient and attentive. Then the cleaning technician lead me to another chair where she completed the thorough cleaning and gave me some advice about dental hygene. All in all it was a great visit and I'm happy to report that there were no cavities discovered :)

Experiencia fantástica: Was visiting Claremont as I often do and broke a tooth. Not having a Dentist in Claremont, I stopped in at the office first thing in the morning. They got me in immediately. They have a team of Dentists that gave me several options. I chose extraction with a future dental implant. Dr. Fountain is very personable; his staff is very attentive. Having all that talent in one place that is state of the art is terrific. Looking forward to returning in 3 months to finish the implant procedure.

Experiencia negativa: It’s been a while since I had a cleaning, I just moved to the area. I went in for a complete exam with a concern dark shadow on my lower left side. The doctor said we can replace my filling. My first appointment went great, but my first red flag was when the hygienist was doing my perio chart, it was mainly 545 545 a lot of 5s here and there and two 6s. I was told I needed SRP two-three teeth. I didn’t think much of it since I was way over do. When it was time to make my appointment, I made it for my filling for another day for 12pm. A black out happened, all the power turned off and the front desk lady asked if she can text me my other appointments later on. That afternoon I got confirmation for two appointments one for my filling and another for my cleaning on two different days. When it came to my appointment day I received a text message hours before my appointment confirming a different time, now it’s an hour early. I start rushing getting ready because I work graveyard so I didn’t see the text message till half an hour before the new appointment hour. When I went to the office, I was getting seated in the hygienist chair and that’s when I learned that I had two appointments that day one for a cleaning and one for a filling. I honestly thought they bumped my appointment from 12 to 11 at the last minute. And the hygienist was ready to numb me up on the right side. Now I’m being told that my lower right side needed work. I was going back-and-forth with the hygienist telling her that it’s the lower left that was my main concern and that needed the filling not the right side. She went and brought the lady from the front desk, and she was explaining to me my treatment plan. Also brought in the doctor. To take a look at my X-rays, and to make sure we’re working on the correct tooth. Now the doctor explains to me that I needed work on the lower right side apparently, this is new he never explained this to me during our first visit. We only talked about the lower left side. I ended up leaving without the SRP cleaning and the filling. I forgot to mention I’m also an RDA (told them it was my husband, but no it was me), I made a career change two years ago. So everything gave a weird vibe in that office. I ended up driving up to Palm Springs to my old office and spoke to them about my experience, I got the correct perio charting and surprise surprise my gums are healthy and at 323 323 and just one 4, no SRPs needed. We’re just waiting the x-rays to get transferred to them to confirm on those other interproximal decays. I would be careful and recommend second opinions for big procedures. I came here for the reviews but luckily I have some knowledge of the field to know when things are off.

Experiencia fantástica: The best dentist I have ever been to! They are always on time with appointments- I think I have only ever had to wait 1 minute max when I arrive before they call my name. They have massage chairs, a TV so you can watch Netflix while you get your teeth cleaned, and all the employees are great! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I drive all the way out here to get my work done by Dr Fountain. I have severe odontophobia and I need sedation for every procedure, and this staff has always been very understanding and have gone above and beyond to make me comfortable. I cannot recommend them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency, one of my molars had broken. CDI was able to squeeze me in and this was my first visit. The staff was caring and professional. Dr Fountain was kind and friendly but the main thing is that he is a very talented dentist. In no time at all and with little discomfort I was on my way with a temporary. I will be back for the permanent and I couldn't be more happy to have found this place.

She's highly skilled and extremely knowledgable about my condition, which is why I travel four hours to see her. The whole office experience was fantastic- calm, friendly and organized.
