The upselling, the shoving to premier orthodontist in the same office to the point if making appointments for the orthodontist without full permission. To trying to charge for Nitorus when Denti-cal covers it for minors. I am beyond done with this location, its be 13 years of nightmare, at this point id trust TJ over this office.

Experiencia positiva: Friendly front office staff. Friendly dental assistants. They are always kind and ease my children of their anxieties towards the dentist. Always understanding of my concerns. Clean environment. TVs available for patients to watch shows or movies while doing dental work. We have been going for over 2 years. I appreciate that they show you the X-rays and explain everything thoroughly, it’s important to me. Overall all dentists have been great, my only concern is one female dentist that was a little more aggressive with putting in a crown for my daughter, I understand my daughter has small gums and needed extra pressure but my daughter expressed it felt like they were breaking her jaw. We luckily didn't have that dentist again. I will continue to take my children.

I would suggest offering a bit more privacy, as sharing a space while lying on chairs with other kids can sometimes be challenging, depending on others’ experiences. I would also appreciate it if parents were informed about or could choose the movies shown during treatment, rather than having random selections. Overall, my daughter always has a positive experience here, and we truly appreciate the care provided.

The facilities are very good in the doctor area. They need a little more entertainment for the kids on the waiting area. They had tablets but kids of course broke them. Not a major issue but always good to keep kids busy while they wait.

Experiencia negativa: Dental staff in the back are amazing, definitely make the kids feel calm and comfortable. Would date them a 10 and above. The office staff on the other hand would be rated a - 10. For the past 12 years every time I go in there's ALWAYS a problem. Telling me the kids don't have coverage, when in fact the do have coverage with the ins they've had for awhile. Having me wait for over an hr while they "verify" ins when they claimed to have already done it. It's unfortunate that I will not be taking my kids back because of the office staff.

Experiencia positiva: The doctors do good work, the problem I have with them is that they overbook. They book 3 or 4 people during one time slot. Then, if the child needs work they will do it that same day, which is nice for the parent of that child. However, the rest of us who are waiting for the doctor to look at our x-rays are backed up and are waiting way too long. The doctor who saw my daughter yesterday didn’t even say hi to me, he talked to us for 2 minutes and that was it. I think that they need to figure out a better system, so that we are not waiting so long to be seen. If you’re going to do work on the same day, then make appointments with that in mind.

Experiencia fantástica: We needed an emergency appointment due to an infection, pain, and swelling under a crown. I called in the morning on a Saturday and they got us right in. Performed an extraction for my 7 year old and it was as great of an experience as it could be. We are very thankful.

Experiencia negativa: Went to get a regular check up for my daughter, had 7 cavities, need to sedate through IV, all that jazz. The dentist didn’t even introduce himself(my daughter was a first time patient), just showed an xray with some red spots told me what he wanted to do a baby root canal and all this extra stuff then up and left for the dental assistant to answer any questions, dentist was there maybe a solid 2 minutes tops so I got a second opinion elsewhere since this dentist didn’t do a thorough job and she only has 3 cavities(not 7) all simple fillings. So it’s safe to say I will not be ever taking my child here again and absolutely will not recommend this dentist to anyone who cares about their child’s dental care and don’t want to be ripped off by a dental provider that you should be able to trust but sadly can’t. Do better.

We were originally advised by a different pediatric dentist to have my 2-year-old son’s tooth removed due to an injury — even though he had no swelling, pain, or discomfort. Something didn’t sit right with me, so I reached out to our insurance. They connected us with another dentist who was able to submit an emergency referral, and I specifically asked that it be for Children’s Choice Dental. They were incredibly responsive and managed to get us a same-day appointment, which I truly appreciated. The dentist we saw was amazing — he took the time to listen to our concerns and thoroughly evaluate my son’s tooth. To our relief, he said there was no need to remove it and that we just needed to monitor it over time. I'm so grateful we got a second opinion. The care and attention we received at Children’s Choice Dental really gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a thoughtful and trustworthy pediatric dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience taking my child there for the first time. I felt comfortable and not pressured. There was a short wait. The dentist is very professional and explains everything very well and puts your child's feelings, comfort and safety first over everything. My child has a few small cavities and the office I previously went to, Covina Dental would not allow me to be in the room with my child for treatment. I would never be ok with that. We agreed to do treatment on one side using nitrous oxide but was unsuccessful due to my child being a mouth breather the nitrous oxide does not stay in his system. My child became anxious and agitated so the dentist stopped and said the best thing was to not traumatize him and to keep the cavities under observation instead of drilling and exposing the teeth. He adviced to brush his teeth more often and floss daily and to keep them under observation. I'm so grateful to have found a peds dentist that is caring, patient and puts his patients first over production. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Today 4-16-25 my ten year old daughter had 3 Teeth removed. Dr. Lynn was Awesome ! Dr. Lynn and his assistant Chelsea were honestly amazing with my daughter. They made sure she was fully comfortable and numb. Dr Lynn finished her procedure so fast my little girl didn’t even know he had taken her teeth out yet. We couldn’t have had a better experience today ! Thank you so much Dr. Lynn and Chelsea for giving my daughter such a better experience than the last dentist who did her extraction. ❤️

The One thing the chicken were excited about was the TV on the ceiling and that they could choose a movie . One of the girls was very fearful about going, but they made them very comfortable and they were able to get the work done. I would highly recommend them to all my friends.

Experiencia positiva: Everything went well with my son's ortho treatment, the problem was one year after treatment was done. My son misplaced his retainer. Obtaining a new set from Children's Choice was impossible. Many, many calls and messages to them, and I was still was unable to get a new set of retainers. When I left a message they would to tell me someone else was going to call me, which they never did. At one point they couldn't even find my sons records! My son had too much movement, now we are looking to get him braces again with insurance exhausted from Children's Choice, now it is all out of pocket. Disappointed in the lack of effort that was made to contact me and return my calls and messages to get a second set of retainers.

Experiencia negativa: The worst!! Waited for 40 minutes after my appointment. When my daughter was finally seen it took 2 minutes to get checked out. There was one person taking care of 5 different kids. Why do you over book?? This place is not what it used to be. This place needs help.

Experiencia negativa: They broke 3 brackets and charged us extra for the brackets that they broke and they didn’t glue 1 of the broken bracket supported in the wire. I expected better when I came back but now I had to go to another dentist. Don’t come here bad service and they even cursed in front of kids like 6 years old

Experiencia negativa: It was time to set up my kids' routine dental appointment here, but I am going to be looking elsewhere. The last two times we went to this dentist we had to wait 45 minutes. One of the visits, they had to cancel one of my daughters' appointments on the spot because they didn't allow enough time in their schedule. I heard the front desk tell another man in the lobby they needed to cancel and reschedule for his daughter as well (also after they had been waiting 45 minutes). There was no apology, just an offer to reschedule for 7am the next day. I gave them another chance- every business has a tough day, but it was the same wait time 6 months later when we returned.

Experiencia positiva: My children have been patients of children's choice for years. The service and treatment has always been stellar but the appointment waiting times are awful. We have been ok with that as we understand schedules do run behind but its really frustrating to accommodate a reschedule on their end and then having to wait for an hour before they're even brought into the room. We are a working family and had made arrangements for an appointment and had them reschedule because my closest date when they called was the day after we had to really move things around. We showed up on time for the appointment, waited an hour to be brought into the room and then waited another 10 mins before they started the laughing gas. However the most disappointing thing was when I called the front to get an estimated on time in case I needed to reschedule (had work) and the receptionist said shed check, left me on hold and then hung up the phone. No courtesy call back. Right after that, laughing gas began. My husband will now be late to work because of the hour wait. If you plan on using them be prepared for appointments that will take a good chunk of your day and do not plan for anything after just in case.

They have a clean and spacious waiting area with games to keep the kids entertained, and appointments are always timely. All of the staff is extremely welcoming and sweet, they are considerate, calm, fun, and really good with kids, you can tell they truly care about what they do! They always give balloons and little gifts at the end of the visit, which the kids look forward to. All the procedures are explained very well, they explain every step to the kids very patiently, treatment plans are emailed to the parent, and the parent gets to sit in during treatment. I am 100% satisfied and happy that my kids are seen here now, we will definitely keep coming back!

Experiencia negativa: i have been coming to this dentist for years, mainly just for cleanings. i was dealing with a TMJ for a very long time & decided to get braces for it. i initially did not really need braces because my teeth (except for TWO) were already pretty straight. obviously orthodontics will give you only a rough estimated amount of time to have braces. i was ORIGINALLY given a year/year & a half. i got my braces on in november of 2021. it is now april of 2024 (will be 3 years this year) & i still have not gotten my braces off. there have been a VARIETY of times where my ortho told me to stop wearing my bands & take breaks, but would not tell me why. these “breaks” would consist of 1-2 months AT A TIME of not wearing my bands, which has happened numerous times. also i had been asking since april of 2023 if i could be given a date of when the braces would come off & every appointment, they kept saying “within the next appointment or 2”. they have said that for the past 6 appointments & i’m still being told the same thing. ALSO, i had broken a bracket back in september 2023 & when i went into my appointment to get it fixed, the ortho REFUSED to put it back on because he said i was going to “get my braces off soon”. it’s april 2024 & i still don’t have that bracket, so i feel that is also part of the reason my braces are being extended. now i wear my rubber bands all of the time now no matter what because i’m trying to speed up my process. the orthodontists do not communicate well enough with their braces patients or be very honest. i’ve had friends & family who had teeth WAY worse than i had & they got their braces on & off within a year & a half. luckily my braces have already been paid off in full, but use their orthodontics service with caution. i will be calling tomorrow to schedule about getting my braces off & will plan on getting invisalign (if i even need it) with another orthodontist in the future. first photo: early 2021, BEFORE I GOT BRACES second photo: nov. 2021, when i got braces on third photo: my teeth NOW, still being told i have to wait longer to get them off.

My 8 yr old just had his first cavity filled and the Dentist and staff were great with him. Cotton candy laughing gas? Where was that when I was a kid? Only saw one girl working on someone else next to us and 1 guy on the other side where they sit the treatment patients. I finally got fed up with waiting and walked to the front to see what’s going on and I ask one of the employees what is taking so long. He says he’ll be right over, at this point I’m fed up my 2 year old is acting up my other daughter wanted to leave. I hadn’t come back for my daughter cleaning since last year. For the same reason waiting past a hour. Their orthodontics side is great I hardly ever have a long wait but the regular dental office horrible.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter’s appointment was suppose to be at 9am. We got there around 8:55am & tried to check in. The lady who was sitting at the front desk was on her personal phone and didn’t even bother to acknowledge us. She was very rude when I asked if we could check my daughter in. Long story short, she put my daughter as a no show. We waiting 45 mins in the waiting area, it wasn’t until I asked did she tell me “your daughter is a no show”. She didn’t even apologize for making this mistake or get up out of her seat to see if my daughter could still be seen by the doctor. It wasn’t until this other lady came up to us to apologize and went back to see if they could still see my daughter. This was ridiculous. We waited over 1.5 hours just to be seen by the dentist, because of the lady in the fronts mistake. The doctor and her assistant were really nice and worked well with my daughter.

Experiencia negativa: EVERYONE from the reception to the dentists are super nice but don’t let that fool you!!! As if the reception area wasn’t a big enough clue to how dirty the place is, the back is just as bad!! AND they use unclean tools on multiple patients!!! HUGE ISSUE!!!! The doctors have been known also to overdrill and cause major issues and even give too much anesthesia. They have long wait times and a huge turnover rate for assistants and front desk meaning they run a bad business. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR Children’s WELL BEING

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience with super friendly staff. My 2 year old felt so comfortable and was given a balloon and goodie bag with minion toothbrush. Cartoons also playing above the children I loved the atmosphere and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: From the receptionist, to the nurse, to the doctor. I have nothing but good things to say. Great experience. Receptionist was professional. The nurse was extremely patient with my daughter. Its was her first dental visit. I truly recommend. Will be bringing my other daughters too.

Experiencia negativa: Took 6 weeks to get a quote for braces and they do not honor their appointment times . They put too much cement on sons teeth so he spent an additional 30 minutes there for them trying to remove it. You cannot call to office directly …..don’t do it !!!! Place is dirty and crowded. Total regret !!! Waiting room for hours they do not honor their appointments ! Find anywhere else!

Experiencia negativa: They send WAAYY too many appointment reminder calls, texts and emails…even after I’ve already confirmed. Even the day off, I get a call. It’s pretty annoying. And then when you get there, still had to wait an hour for my son to be seen.

Experiencia fantástica: My child loves Dr. Kereem and all of his associates. Every time we visit we have a very positive experience; in fact, my toddler looks forward to every visit for her check ups and cleaning. She always asks if her dentist is going to be proud of her for brushing and flossing. The doctors and the assistants are all very attentive to each child during his or her visit no matter what they are there for.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone is nice but for the third appt in a row, we wait 40 minutes. After both my girls got cleaned, waited another 30 minutes for the dentist to check their teeth. Have been with them for over ten years with my kids but the management has greatly gone down. Disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service, 2 hours for a check up and they changed our appointment without confirming or asking us. We have been coming here for years and they must have new management/ownership because it gets worse and worse every time. We originally called for an urgent visit on a Friday morning and they scheduled my son for a late Tuesday afternoon for a 6 month check, despite us saying/requesting urgent due to pain. I see why Dr. Kareem left, he was truly the best. Oh and we have to come back again to do a treatment another day.
