Experiencia negativa: The young dental assistant named Fernando, who placed my temporary crown on my teeth, did a very lousy job, and it was so messy that he even spread some glue on my face & even one of his co-workers told her that he should be carefull on what ever his doing! He even forgot to remove the strings under my gums!! Very unprofessional he needs some more training before letting him hands on the patients.

Experiencia negativa: I did wait long. And the lady who had to take pictures of my teeth just kept shoving the thing in my mouth and not letting take a moment. She seemed to rush it and I had to tell her to calm down let me breathe!

Experiencia negativa: This is by far one of the worst dental offices I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is negative, and the wait times are excessive. I’ve been there twice, and both visits were for the same reason—x-rays—because both times my insurance denied the treatment they were trying to push. I contacted my insurance company directly, and they explained that the x-rays showed no major damage, which contradicts what the dentist told me. According to them, the cavity was supposedly “too deep” and required a root canal, yet my insurance disagreed both times. That alone raised red flags. During my most recent visit, something much worse happened. While taking x-rays, an older gentleman was assisting a younger employee. I had the sensor in my mouth with the wire still attached when the older man stepped on the cable, causing my jaw to violently jerk. My ear popped, and for a moment I honestly felt like my jaw had been dislocated. He immediately checked on me and looked worried, and I told him to please watch where he was stepping. I tried not to make a big deal out of it, but my jaw hurt for four days afterward. I should have filed a report at the time. A few days later, the receptionist called to say my insurance denied the work again, and she immediately transferred the conversation to their finance department. That says everything. This office clearly prioritizes money over patient care. Since when does a dental office push financing before properly addressing patient concerns? They expected me to pay $2,000 out of pocket for two crowns that I simply cannot afford—and now I understand why my insurance denied it in the first place. It feels like this office attempts to recommend unnecessary procedures to overcharge insurance companies and patients alike. The carelessness, lack of professionalism, and aggressive financial pressure are unacceptable. I will be consulting a lawyer to see how much time I have to file a complaint regarding the injury caused by their negligence. I strongly recommend choosing another dental office. Do not come here. Horrible experience.

The staff in the front needs retraining on how many people per hour should be booked. Even the dentist say why do they book so many people that we can’t handle. I have given them so many chances. Experiencia negativa: Hands down worst dentist experience of my life. They book 3 people per hour so the dentist hops between 3 people. Apt was at 8am, dentist walked in at 8:27am. Then he had his aids walk me back and take xrays 3 times in a row because they were new. By the time the actually dentist saw me it was 9:15am. He then struggles to get my crown to fit for an hour all while hopping back and forth between 2 other patients and says he has to send it back and to come again in 2 weeks. 11am i walked out of there with the same status i came in with minus 3hrs of my time. 0/5

The waiting time is ridiculous—up to 4 hours—and they schedule 7 to 10 patients at the exact same appointment time. I was even given appointments for two family members at the same hour, which is completely unorganized. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. What’s even more frustrating is that they keep calling me to schedule appointments, claiming my warranty expired a week ago, yet they never confirmed if I actually still had coverage. Experiencia negativa: New update 2025 Do NOT go to this location, they not honest about insurance copay coverage. Always call insurance to double check copay. They overcharge me more than $14xx, the manager is unprofessional and lie to you to the teeth. There are NO apologies of wrong doing/overcharging. Refund happened only when the insurance involved to this case. Reported to BBB ============= Horrible staffs, un-professional business. Always there problems on the last minutes appointment. Our son have procedures with specialist and the appointment take year to get it done but last has to go to another office to get it done. Never go back again to this office. Look like they don't want people business either do us in future.

They were both so informative about my teeth. I have a general dentist but in the last few years I been going to my dentist, he never told me that I have some issues with my premolers. Experiencia negativa: If I could give -10 I would, a cleaning job took 4 hours of waiting, the insurance ladies keep making mistakes with the insurance claims and when finally it's all said and done a month later I received an invoice for $176 of remaining balance, I went to pay it and at 2:20pm I'm told I have to wait because they are still on lunch, way to to customer service, never coming back to this place

Make your next appointment a month out cause they have no specialist.. when you do come back their specialist don't work their no more. Experiencia negativa: Nothing good to say. - Appointment was not honored. Had to wait way past my appointment time. - I did my deep cleaning which lasted at max 10-15 mins. Looking online seems like deep cleaning is an involved process and should take longer. So either I didn’t need deep cleaning at all or they rush things. Everything did seem kinda rushed given how many people were waiting. - Worst thing out of all: they tried to charge me $264 for gingival irrigation which is something that was already covered in deep cleaning. They sent me bill for $264 sometime during April/March 2025 when my deep cleaning was done Nov 2024. What really pissed me off was that they sent a letter through a debt collection agency literally a week after sending me the bill for $264. I was actually about to pay it but when I saw mail from debt collection agency, it really rubbed me the wrong way and I ended up calling my insurance and found out the thing they were trying to charge me for was already covered. May 2025 I got a notice saying “oh it was a mistake on our part” once my insurance got involved. I rarely write reviews and never anything negative but my experience with this place trying to charge me for something that I didn’t even owe, makes me wonder if they do this to everyone cause people won’t want to bother and just pay the bill.

Experiencia negativa: This place is garbage ... They wanna email me a year later .saying let's fix this issue ... You already helped your self .. shady we asked for our dental records and they tried there hardest to go around it .. and still left facts out of the records ... On the day of the appointment, they inform you that the doctor scheduled for that day doesn’t accept your insurance, and the only doctor who does accept your insurance is unavailable on that day.

Since the moment I walked in and having to wait over an hour and half and go unattended to the messiness of the doctors and workers. Everything no seemed rushed and unorganized. I payed $300 for a deep cleaning and it lasted 10 minutes. Nothing about my cleaning had “deep” cleaning about it. The tools they used were old. Both doctors and assistants did not seem fit for the job.

Experiencia negativa: THEY DON'T HONOR APPOINTMENTS/ RESCHEDULED WITHOUT CONSENT/NOTIFICATION Unless you are jobless, freelance or WFH DO NOT GO HERE They have a guessing/estimate system for setting appointments with their oral surgeon because he's a traveling surgeon. Meaning your appointment is invalid if he doesn't feel like going to that office for the appointments his patients scheduled that month. I had an appointment for multiple wisdom teeth extraction set for literal months, had to get approved time off from work and paid HUNDREDS for a bone graft, when I called to discuss my payment plan I found out they changed my extraction appointments without my consent. I'm stuck in excruciating pain and they have been completely unhelpful in righting this in anyway. They even attempted to gaslight me when I argued the appointment change until I pulled my previous paperwork. What's the point of having an appointment set if they change it without discussing it with the patient.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment scheduled today. I checked in 15 minutes before my appointment. 30 minutes after I arrived the receptionist told me that my dentist did not show up today. Another dentist filled in. However, they told me they could not see me today because my dentist was not in. I lost a day of work and they didn't even bother to notify me in a timely matter that my dentist would not be in. Given that my appointment was in the afternoon, it is disrespectful and unprofessional for your office not to notify me in advance that he is not in. I would love to move to a different dental practice but unfortunately I have already paid for my treatments so I'm stuck here.

Experiencia negativa: I went back in July for 1st time patient. For self & son, got general cleanings and was told they have braces on site and could refer on the spot. Did the brace consult cause I know I have always needed it. Went through billing and the contract, and a few hours later had braces on. AFTER all of this, I am told ortho is only there Tuesdays. I immediately said this is not going to work for me, as I was under the impression ortho is available more often at their location. This led to alot of back and forth but them pretty much telling me nothing they can do now and to make it work. Nope. I called back a week later and showed up in person to address the issue. They kept saying I can transfer to a sister branch, but again no solution as its the same issue at other locations. I kept emphasizing that limited availability does not work for me and I can’t just take days off every month for braces appointments. A few ladies were rolling their eyes at eachother in my face, and kept speaking to me in a tone that insinuated to just deal with it. Nope again. What was supposed to be my first follow up in early Sept, I had our braces removed. At this point I was told an audit would be conducted to determine the cost of materials so far, and I would receive a refund for the rest. Call back in Oct, the lady in billing no longer works there. I would have to follow up with the on site manager. Manager was hard to get ahold of. Finally am told 1 audit was completed but not turned in. Call back in Nov, at this point I am told both audits were completed and that I should get a refund soon. Call back in Dec, location has no useful information or follow up, can’t get ahold of the manager. I instead just called corporate. On hold for 40 minutes and the gentleman said the request for refund was submitted but for some reason not processed. He would keep an eye on it. Following week, the refund was finally processed (minus a loss of 2 grand for their screw up of misinformation). Altogether 5 months dealing with this, but considering other comments I find myself lucky I got anything back at all.

Experiencia negativa: Where do I begin. Arrived 10 mins early as requested per staff I waited 2 hrs to be seen. The dentist got upset when I would ask her to slow down. English is my second language and dentist has accent plus the mask so she needs to slow down. During apt dentist was complaining she's hasn't taken lunch with the assistant. The girls in the front were talking so loud in regards to a coworker that didn't submit paperwork correctly. Made me rethink this office. I keeped looking at them but they didn't care. It was the worst experience at a dentist office Ive been too. Definitely calling my insurance so the don't charge anything.

Experiencia negativa: They rescheduled my appt twice. I spoke with an agent 2 separate times and informed the second agent I was pregnant. I arrived to my appt and waited an hour before being called back. I informed the tech I was pregnant and she went back and forth delivering messages to the front desk and doctor. The front desk stated they called me twice about the appt and said I spoke with the call center, not any of them. I literally called the number they left on my voicemail. The tech informed me the doctor will just look at me but won’t do anything without a medical clearance from my OB. When I stated this should have been told to me prior, I got blamed for speaking to the wrong people. Very unprofessional and I’m still in pain, having to figure out where I’m going next.

Experiencia negativa: The worse dental experience I’ve ever had. They do not care about pain in ur mouth. All they care about is selling braces. They examined my son. Told him to come back. I showed up and they cancelled the appointment saying they don’t work with kids. And then never gave me the referral info. I had to harass them and still never got a response from the office. I called my insurance and they informed me that the office referred me to a dentist in Sacramento. 6 hrs away. Then when I called to get my son’s records they gave me the run around. Horrible experience. They don’t care about nothing but selling braces. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A TOOTH ACHE.

Experiencia negativa: It was the worst experience honestly. Every time I go there. I have to take Uber because health issues Not once but that's the second time. They do this to me where I go. And when I get there, I'm waiting waiting. Waiting half an hour later. They decided to tell me I'm not gonna be seen because my insurance did not send a approval. And they had a note to call me and they didn't. The girl the front. She said they forgot to call me. And they had the 71 clothes and the Uber kept ongoing in circles And to top it all off. I was in so much pain because I have a chip too. And I'll be couldn't do in the pot is argue about what folder to give the doctor what color it's red yellow green. What insurance will pay him and i'm there in pain And every time I ask her, can you please tell me, am I gonna be seen or not? She kept on telling me do not yell at me. At the end I walked out. It was too hot to argue with baby buddy. It's not feared the way they tweet people it's all about money

Experiencia positiva: I had scheduled an appointment for an annual cleaning my appointment was set for 10:30 , I Asked the front desk if they were running late today she stated no. 45 minutes later I am asked to the back of the room to be seated in the X-ray area, I was then told that even thou I have an appointment for an annual cleaning they probably Will not be able to do that and have to make another appointment. I advised to the lady saying this you better go check with someone around here that knows me because I have been here many times. The technician lady looked at me , I said even better I will go ahead and called Delta Dental and put this office on notice for not providing proper service to the customers. She picked up her stuff and left the room and a Gentleman came over and completely did everything that the other staff should have done. The service from here he point on was great.
Experiencia fantástica: My 6 year old daughter had a check up yesterday with Dr. Aldabbi the Kid specialist and he was more than amazing, he was spectacular. He was so kind and patient he made jokes with my daughter he was so friendly, my daughter right away felt so comfortable with him, also Dr. Aldabbi's assistant Antonio was very kind and patient with my daughter. Both the Doctor and Antonio explained the treatment to me. Antonio was very gentle taking my daughter's X-rays. Over all the experience was extremely pleasant the receptionist was welcoming and the Manager Hortencia was very friendly polite and professional she made the experience even more pleasant my daughter loved the free Disney Princess toothbrush Hortencia gave her. Experiencia negativa: I've been a patient at this dentist for 4 years now and I'm fed up with them. Their booking system is awful, even if you book an appointment on a weekday you'll still be there for at least 4 hours, 2 of which is just waiting to actually be put into a room. There have been multiple instances where I've had to sit in the room and wait for almost an hour to actually be seen by the doctor. They only have only doctor so they should either book less patients so that the doctor can keep up, or get another doctor on staff. This place will have you wait for 2 hours just to take x-rays and tell you that you have to come back another day to be seen by the doctor. What kind of place is this? If I make an appointment for a certain date and time then I expect to be seen and treated that same day, not have to come back another day and take more time off work. This place has absolutely no regard for their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Made an emergency appointment to be seen as soon as possible as i had broken a tooth while at work. The manager Hortencia was extremely helpful in verifying my benefits and scheduling me at their earliest convenience the very next morning. I went in to my appointment and was seen in a timely manner. My xrays were taken and the doctor saw me shortly after. Treatment was completed, my tooth was salvaged. I am very grateful for this office and its entire team. Definitely continuing any and all future treatment with this office.

I basically felt coerced into signing a contract for braces. Fortunately I stood my ground and decided to get a second opinion where I learned that there ARE orthodontist with team members that actually believe in putting patients first. It was also WAY cheaper than whatever silly BOGO sounding offer they were providing. With these guys it felt like it was about the money first and MAYBE you’ll get what you paid for. The used car salesman of the industry.

Experiencia positiva: This office is ok. Staff is friendly. Don’t schedule yourself for a Saturday. I was there for 3-4 hours because their staff had to take a lunch and they weren’t going to complete my cleaning and after x-rays at 11am. Returned back at 1pm and left till 3:20.

Experiencia positiva: So the good news is that they do have pretty good doctors, and they are fast and efficient with healthcare. No complaints there. They are also pretty nice in general. The bad news is you need to get everything in writing. They will outright lie about a price then give you one triple the amount. I was already going to get braces and they told me with insurance it would only cost me 200$ per month for the amount of time I had the braces which was 6 months, and I had him repeat it a few times and he showed me a scrap of paper with hastily written numbers. They kept pushing it and I said sure. Only after I had taken the molds and was ready to pay another person told me oh no it's actually for 2 years bringing the price from 1200$ to +3000$. It was incredibly shady and then they kept insisting I was mistaken. It was disappointing. Other than their really sketchy price changes they have been good.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience for children. Tried taking my son to see them. I was first told by my insurance to find a provider in my area in network, found them, called a scheduled a new patient consultation and the person who does scheduling said everything was green. She said they accepted my insurance and was going to see a pedeodontist, dr kampilla. I then filled out there 10 page new patient packet where I detailed my son’s issues at least 3 times. Day of the appointment arrives, I took the day off of work and everything and they tell me the doctor I was scheduled to see hasn’t practiced with them for two months. What is that!?! Shouldn’t the scheduling department know their providers schedule? Then they tell me they have no pediatric dentist who accepts our insurance and would have to refer us out? The entire time the front office staff was rude and dismissive and tried to talk to me like I didn’t know what I was doing and it was my fault I was given incorrect information and everything I I said something she couldn’t waive away, all she could say was “I’m sorry about that.” While rolling her eyes. She then said to do a cleaning I’d have to pay $59 because they are not in network! All they wanted was my money. I truly felt like I was just a number to them. -10/10. Go somewhere else and see a real professional office.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a rip off they are very predatory and used up over $600 of my insurance benefits on X-rays and photos. They dont let you know any information about cost and how they handle the X-rays and photos up front. Then they have the nerve to try to keep calling and set up appointments for more useless procedures that increase their profit but provide no dental help. They make all dental offices look very bad. I only gave them one star because they didn’t have half a star as an option.
Experiencia negativa: Please for the love of god - DO NOT COME HERE! The staff LIED to me about which orthodontic treatment I was getting AFTER I SIGNED ALL THE PAPERWORK. I even found out they were OVERCHARGING me when I went for a second opinion. I had to cancel my treatment due to poor customer service and they are still trying to charge me $1200 for NOTHING done. I hate going there - the wait times are so long, you get ignored a lot, limited availability (ortho treatment is only on Thurs), and overall is a terrible experience.
Experiencia negativa: please do not go here. if you have a dental emergency where the doctors need to see you, they will not see you. i had a dental emergency where I was in severe pain due to the surgeons work and they basically shrugged and said “oh well, you gotta wait til next month”. mind you, i could not wait any longer or else my gum would start growing over the area/bone that had to be looked at. they don’t even try to be friendly. they make you feel as if you are inconveniencing them even though they messed up to begin with. my main dentist was upset at their work and suggested reporting them to the dental board.. i’ll never come back

Experiencia negativa: Was charged under my CareCredit for work that was never done and I have been waiting for 8 months now for West Coast Dental to return the funds to CareCredit so they can stop harassing me for the funds. It is also damaging my personal credit score and will definitely be filing a complaint with the state board and lawsuit if this matter doesn't get addressed soon.

Experiencia negativa: REAL REVIEW: Multiple reasons for 1 stars is it’s extremely hard to get an ortho appt. they are only open Thurs. each week & fill up fast. It’s especially hard during the evenings when kids are in school. So if you work & can’t make a certain day good luck! I’ve been pushed out 7 weeks for an appt before. But they still will charge for your monthly payments every 30 days without being SEEN! Next, they have my son waiting for his appt up to an hour each time like we didn’t make an appt. Lastly, the dentist will make excuses to extend your ortho treatments. Mine has been an additional six months so $660. They said the reason was because of the bite. 3 months later they came up with another reason. It seems they are just $$$$ sucking. They said my son was the reason for the problems when he was showed how to wear bands then told he did it wrong for two months. Unbelievable!! when we have pictures each visit to show progress. Staff is rude and unprofessional if I could give negative stars I would! save your money go to another place. Not worth the hassle read all the bad reviews. I should have listened!!!

The lady specifically was working on Tuesday, August 1 at 9:00am. The worker was named Briana. She fat shamed a lady because she thought she didn’t know any English. She did know English and so did the two girls she was with. The worker, Brianna clearly also picked who she would be nice to and who she wouldn’t be nice to. When the Latina women wanted to ask a question she completely dismissed her (very rudely) but the worker was fine with answering questions to another lady. Another worker arrived later and she wasn’t rude at all! It’s not so hard to just be kind. Save your money and your time. Go somewhere better!

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional and don’t care about patients, second time happened to me, they scheduled my appointment and when I get there they told me your insurance will not cover it yet because it’s not been six months but we can take cash. This is the second time they just trying to scam you and they make me wait for more than an hour to tell me that. That playing games to make you pay cash, they do that to put you on the spot and pay, bad service, bad communication

Experiencia fantástica: I went there for the very first time for dental service. Everything is up to the American professional standard. They did an excellent job! But they are not cheap. I'll write more reviews when I go there about two weeks from now.

Experiencia negativa: They double book, so if you show up on time you’ll still wait, I waited for an hour before leaving -I had a missing filling so it was a painful and time sensitive issue. I agreed to try again and scheduled an appointment for the next business day, that day came and they cancelled. They lied to my face the day I rescheduled with them. Half a day of missed work later- still no dental care. Their office staff is overwhelmed and lacks professional/reliable communication.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my elderly parents for Dental Work. My poor mom had an very bad infected molar. The Oral Surgeon, Dr. Terzian was fantastic and the Treatment Coordinator, Rosemary Valenzuela, was extremely helpful, made things so easy and gave us a clear explanation of all costs.

Experiencia negativa: I would never refer anyone to West Coast Dental in Pomona. I've had nothing but bad experience here. I made an appointment for a tooth extraction and had to wait two weeks then I was told this was only a consultation. Mind you I have been in horrible pain all this time. Now my appointment is for two more weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor was real nice, helpful and polite. She got my teeth cleaned and got me feeling good and brand new again. Assistant really enjoyed polishing my after and took his time unlike other places. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Place tried to scam me and charge me all this money for dental work that was covered under my dental plan. Did the same thing to my roommate too. Avoid this money hungry facility at all costs. Puts business before caring for others. Adding this edit 4 months later, they are now booking appointments for me without my permission. A business more than a medical practitioner- cares more about your money than your health. Shameful company

To top it off the girls in the front are very unprofessional and act like people can’t hear them cursing and talking bad about the dentist. Experiencia negativa: Around a month ago, I visited this office due to a cracked molar. However, I encountered a problem when the dentist spoke to me as if I were incapable of understanding his explanations. He recommended a $1000 crown, which my insurance would not cover since it was the highest quality option offered by the office. When I asked if there was a lower quality option available, the office confirmed there was, but the dentist refused to perform the procedure with anything but the highest quality crown. Feeling like I had no other option, I paid the $1000. The next day, I saw another dentist who informed me that my crown was actually covered by my insurance. I returned to West Coast Dental to cancel the procedure and request a refund. However, I had to basically beg for a signed copy of the cancellation form. It's now been over a month and a half, and they still haven't refunded me. They've also stopped answering my calls, so I've had to initiate a chargeback with my bank. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this dental office due to their poor treatment of customers.

I had the pleasure of having Alyssa and Taya's help. They made my visit go smoothly and were very helpful in answering all my questions with such patience. I appreciated the Doctor and the rest of staff as well. The Doctor seen me right away and explained everything to me. Everyone was nice and efficient. Thank you all very much!
