1 month ago Experiencia positiva: The people here although seemingly not the most hospitable, are some of the kindest hard workers. The dentists are patient with me, the receptionists are kind and make amazing small talk. I have been coming here since march of this year, and since then, I’ve gotten two root canals, three crowns, and a few fillings. Each time they would make me feel comfortable and never once said anything regarding the state of my teeth. Now, i confidently smile and laugh.

2 months ago Experiencia negativa: I carefully checked with Columbia Dental by online insurance and a phone call to the practice to be sure that a specific insurance plan was covered. I was told it would be covered until June 30. An appointment was made for early June. After arriving at appointment, it was learned that it was not covered. This was quite disappointing after carefully doing the research and adjusting schedule for an appointment that didn’t happen.
We are truly sorry, Nicola. You did everything right by verifying your insurance coverage both online and by phone before your appointment, and it is completely understandable that you left disappointed after that experience. We would very much like the opportunity to look into what happened and make things right, so please reach out to us directly at the office so we can work through this with you.

I went in just for a routine cleaning, but it was rushed, leaving me with buildup that is noticeable still, and the person doing the cleaning was a bit rough, not gentle won’t be going back.

1 year ago Experiencia positiva: When I first arrived, I had to wait a good 20 to 25 minutes in a room that was either not air-conditioned or barely functioning on a 90° day. Then the receptionist let me know the doctor was running late and that I could either wait another 20 to 25 minutes, come back later, or reschedule altogether. I’m not gonna lie this left me extremely frustrated and honestly pretty angry. I had taken time out of my workday, showed up on time, and felt like my time wasn’t being respected at all. But this is exactly why you hire the right people. Dr. Jason Lee was absolutely phenomenal. The moment I finally sat down with him, all that frustration started to fade. He didn’t just rush through the appointment, he sat down, pulled up my X-rays on the screen, and walked me through everything clearly and simply, making sure I actually understood what was going on. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. The dental hygienist was amazingly friendly, thorough, and made me feel totally at ease. And while the front desk experience started off rough, I also really appreciated that the receptionist met me with grace and understanding, even though I wasn’t exactly in the best mood when she was delivering news I definitely did not want to hear.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Lee at Columbia Dental in Elizabeth, NJ because I wasn’t happy with my smile and needed to fill the gap between my teeth. Even though I was pretty frustrated at first, Dr. Lee took his time to clearly explain all my options and treated me like family. He’s very humble and truly knows his stuff. What I really appreciate is how comfortable he made me feel, and he didn’t mind spending extra time—even on weekends—answering my questions. He told me once that he’s not the best dentist in the world, but he always does his best to help me and take care of my dental needs. And honestly, that’s true—his dedication and care show in everything he does. If you want a dentist who really cares and doesn’t treat you like you’re just another patient in a factory-like office, I definitely recommend Dr. Lee. He’s the real deal!

He cleaned my teeth with patients and care. His assistant Ashlé was very good at taking my x-rays and assisting Dr.Lee while he was doing the cleaning. 1 year ago Experiencia negativa: This has to be one of the worst dentist offices I’ve ever been to. The staff is unhelpful, rude, and clearly only cares about getting paid. I spent a lot of money just to be rushed through my treatment with no real care or concern for my health. They don’t explain anything properly and just push you through like you’re on a conveyor belt. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. They don’t deserve anyone’s time or money.

Dr.Lee and his dental assistant Ms.Wyanita did a wonderful job and made me feel secure & informed. Throughout the process both of them told me what was happening, how much time was left and asked me if I was okay. I would definitely recommend 10/10 this office to everyone. I will also be going in the upcoming week to do a whitening with them and am so excited!!

2 years ago Experiencia negativa: After: that dentist has since left. You will pay over and over again for the same work to be corrected. Fillings have fallen out multiple time. I paid $150 to have a veneer fixed for it to fall off 2hours later. They attempt to have you come in multiple times to repair previous issues just to re-charge. Unfortunately they are very much money hungry now. Be warned!! I have spent thousands out of pocket here. All to end up going abroad to have it fixed properly for 1/2 the cost. Before:The dentist is knowledgeable and gentle (I’m a cry baby). He listens and walks you through the processes of your procedures w/o rushing. Super down to earth and patient. No extending waiting room waits. The facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Parking is never an issue.
