After moving, and being new to the area, I'm so happy to find this dental practice who takes my Medicare Advantage dental plan. Now: Had great visiting hygienist and a new doctor whom I liked very much. So same in 26, as said in 25. Love staff, and 5 stars.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really good experience with the front desk staff, dental hygienist team, and Dr. Mahmood recently, despite putting off going to a dental appointment for 5-ish years due to anxiety and TMJ pain from keeping my mouth open during appointments. Everyone was so friendly and calm, up front about costs and treatment plans, non-shaming and knowledgeable. Dr. Mahmood does great work! My husband and extended family are all patients here too.

Experiencia fantástica: This is new updated update. I could write chapter and verse about this dental practice. Every single staff member puts their patients first. I know, I've been going to them for 8 plus years. My hygienist Kylee is second to none. Her googlie glasses aid in getting a thorough cleaning, she does not rush you, she doesn't leave a bit of tarter behind AND..... she's friendly and NOT CHATTY! Front desk Abby, Nick, Jacqui, and others, top notch. Dr Choi did a fantastic job on my implant and is extremely knowledgeable. They recently added a new dentist. She did a great exam, explained the tooth's condition, and will be doing a little bit of work soon. I was impressed by her manner and thoughtfulness to not over work the tooth. I'm looking forward to having this work done. Good dentists and hygienists are abundant, but great ones are hard to find. This office is a keeper.

My friend has been seeing them for several years and is very happy with their service. A+... UPDATE! My teeth are done! I had one wisdom tooth extraction, three cavities filled, one of the cavities was in an difficult place and they got to it done! Very professional and kind. I will recommend them to everybody. A+ UPDATE! It's been over a year since my last update. Still don't have any cavities or any problems. I come in every 6 months for cleaning and inspection. They are still very professional and I still recommend them to everybody! A+

Experiencia negativa: Did not appreciate your practice not notifying me that Dr. Conley had left until o was in the chair - especially when you notified me several times of my appt. Also new Dr did not properly introduce herself to me just came in & started the exam. Felt pressured to make financial decisions without additional clarification on an experimental procedure & taking the time to clearly explain. Totally disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I felt it was a rush , ruff cleaning and not very personal the dentist treatment, was not kind in any fashion and just wanted to get it done , and mouth hurt and the blood was not suction out properly, because at another dentist I never tasted your blood it was suction properly not at this location very rushed , very uncomfortable and felt like a object not a 70 year lady retired RN

I actually feel good about coming back, which is not something I ever thought I’d say about the dentist. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Have you ever had tooth pain for days after your simple cleaning appointment? I never had until I went here. Seriously scraping my tooth with her instruments with an exceeding amount of pressure. I went to a different dentist 6 months after and it was a normal appointment. The place is kinda rundown. And they didn’t even give goody-bags to go!

I didn't have to make two appointments, he does it all there and it's my best crown yet! I cant say enough good about this team. Thank you Dr. Shingu and Kendra. You are the best!

Kylie walked me through and kept me calm through my deep cleaning, Anissa and I feel horrible not knowing my dentists name but they filled a cavity so fast I swear I blinked and it was over. The front desks ladies asked me about my day and checked in on me after my visit. Honesty I can’t rate this office as high as they deserve. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Experiencia positiva: Edit on 9/15 I realize it was not fair to post two stars before I know what went wrong. I reacted to a missed appointment, and hours of bus travel.I was prepared to give a great review until I followed up with the endodontist referral. I won’t go into the details but it ruined most of my day. I realize this isn’t a review of the actual visit at the dentist but the aftermath of the referral.

Experiencia negativa: Love my dentist, but had the worst dental assistant or hygienist ever. I’m sorry you think I have disgusting teeth that don’t meet up to your standards but there’s a time when you should just shut up. Only time at the dentist I almost just got up and walked out. So disrespectful. (I actually have very nice teeth according to my dentist ) and yes I did request to not see this particular person again.

Abby at the front office got me in immediately and Dr Conley and his assistant Meagan saw me right away and made a plan to get me started on antibiotics then scheduled me for the very next morning for an extraction. The procedure went so well and I felt no pain! The entire office staff is so friendly, caring, and professional. My husband and I will be returning for all our future dental work. Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: I had a regular exam and mild cleaning without much else and was charged for a more expensive periodontal procedure which some insurances will only cover at 50%. I called and questioned this and was told someone would reach out, but it has been crickets. I will not go back. Seems like fraud to me.

Experiencia negativa: I call about some pain insisting a tooth needed to be pulled, they had me go in for a exam 80$ so i sit in the chair the assistant comes in and i tell her i have pain insisting this area and she looked at my previous xray from months before when i had a treatment plan made to fix everything, totaling about 9500$ now i did all the work required to start the major work ie crowns and partial, keep in mind im a cash patient no insurance. She says oh yea looks like there is a cavity there,she saw it on an old xray and still charged me to do another xray great so not only did dr choi know but he decided to just let that go bad to where i had to spend more money to have it removed. Thats not even the worst part, choi comes in and basicaly shames me because i havent been in to finish my teeth i explained that 9500$ wasnt easy to gather in a short time(3months) but i have about half so soon and he looks at me and shakes his head and just walked out, came back handed the exam results and left the receptionis came i and said it was going to cost 900+$ to remove a tooth and that was with 20 percent off, i said whoah i cant pay that ive never been charged more than 250$ to have a tooth pulled, they said yeah bone graft and this and that we strongly recommend it. I said cant i jusf have it pulled… the doctor says you need that bone graft . So in the end i was out 80$ for them to tell me what i already knew.. to get a result of something i cant afford. And they couldnt have cared less just wanted as much money as they could get. So rude/overcharged/ greedy and here i am some 20 days later still in tons of pain i can barely eat…each visit gets worse and worse. ⬆️ Most recent dr choi is ok , but ive had two bad experiences within 2 weeks. I went in as a new patient about an infection, got some antibiotics to take before my next visit. Took all the antibiotics and the infection was still lingering a little bit so i reached out to them and they never responded until 2 days before my next visit. To which they never mention the antibiotics just want to verify my next appt. The next issue was the receptionist signed me up for vantageOne which is suppose to either give 20 or 50% off, i get done with an extraction and go to pay didnt realize until i got home that i was charged full price.

Impressed with their top of the line equipment, great customer service AND they tell it like it is while you look at pictures of what they see. Dr. Choi and staff are top notch, I am extremely satisfied my teeth and gums are under very good care!

Experiencia positiva: The customer service is excellent at Oly Tumwater Dental. Everyone there greets me with smiles when I arrive, and make sure to say goodbye as I leave, they offer me bottled water upon arrival and always send me text notifications to remind me of upcoming appointments, in case I forget. Unfortunately, I still can't comfortably use my teeth. Every time the bottom dentures get adjusted, they cause more pain and are impossible to use for chewing. This may be an issue on my end, though I follow all of their directions to the letter for self-care outside of the office, so I'm not sure if this can be resolved. Despite my own denture issues, I would still recommend this place to anyone who needs dental care.

Experiencia negativa: Worst place I've been to in my whole life. Asked me for $500 to maybe pull a tooth. I have a tooth ache for xmas and it$ their fault. I want this place shut down. They rob people. Asking me for an arm and a leg to pull a single tooth. Iv had teeth pulled before. It cost $50.
