The receptionist and the dentist both called me weird after i had told them i wanted to make a complaint for the dentist being disrespectful about me wanting to be in the room with my MINOR brother. i have a video of the dentist calling me weird and the receptionist trying to kick me out after telling her they don’t make me aware with the billing’s of my brother. she continued to argue with me stating i am aware and after i told her they don’t call me for my brothers bills, is when she tried kicking me out and call me weird. in the video you can hear the dentist calling me a weirdo and the receptionist replying with “i know” and then the dentist proceeds to tell me “don’t disrespect our office, get out of here little girl” as i am a full adult. disrespect coming from a “professional” business is beyond. the picture i have posted is of the two ladies i had this issue with.

Experiencia fantástica: The kind medical team and office staff at Anaheim Dental & Orthodontics took great care of my 8-year-old daughter (and me) this summer when we were on an extended vacation and her palate expander broke. They were compassionate toward both my daughter and me to help get us in quickly, and they did an excellent job. The orthodontist and assistant were patient and loving toward my daughter and calmed her fears to complete her unexpected orthodontic work - and they rewarded her with a princess wand to complete the visit. I am so thankful for Anaheim Dental & Orthodontics, and I highly recommend them for adults and children alike!

My son and I were greeted and taken care of front start to finish by Norma, she made myself and most importantly my son feel at ease. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience walking out their doors was exceptional. The office is beautiful and clean not to mention the playlist was exceptional! I have been searching for an orthodontist for my son for the past three months. I am not afraid to say that I am a picky parent that knows what I want in a dentist. The environment needs to be clean. The staff needs to be polite and knowledgeable. The price absolutely needs to be in my budget and the dentist needs to know what they’re doing. All boxes checked. Experiencia negativa: I have to give it to Dr Mehdipour, he is amazing. Always polite and apologetic when his running late. But the front end staff, unfortunately not so well. Always look mad and unhappy with the world. Unhelpful with there job scheduling, don't acknowledge people. This is the second time I change insurance and they tell me my insurance won't cover my kids braces because he is in current treatment. I called my insurance and all was incorrect information. Per my insurance will cover even though he only has 3 months left of treatment. Receptionist, was rude when I called her to explain to her that the insurance event stated I can put the claim if needed. She got upset stating she never said she wouldn't do it. And went of to say she wasn't trying to be confrontational. Advised, I wasn't either, I just wanted to give her the correct information as this is the second time they do this to me. She cut me off, and stated will send it. I hung up, as I was going take her rudeness. That was wrong of me to hang up, but I have worked as front office and never have treated patients like this. This staff need to learn from the doctor and have some type values. GOD BLESS

Dr. Omid Mehdipour always pays attention to detail and knows exactly what your teeth need at the blink of an eye! Experiencia fantástica: Getting braces was something I didn't think was possible for me. However, after getting referred here by my dentist, I am glad that I took the opportunity to get them! The staff here are very helpful, especially considering how complex my dental situation was. From braces, ending with retainers, they were there every step of the way.

I got a call from Dr. Mehdipour regarding this review and he was very apologetic about the whole thing and did his best to make up for my unfortunate experience. Apparently on the day I had the 1 1/2 hour wait the office had 3 call outs from their dental assistants and were not able to handle their patient load as a result. I feel that this reason is sufficient, but I also feel that given the situation and its impact the office should have informed me about potential delays and given me the option to reschedule before I arrived. Despite the remediation I still stand by parts of my initial review. My last appointment not withstanding, I still do feel that wait times for the orthodontic appointments are fairly long and appointment slots are overbooked. Also i still do not agree with the 5% interest charge on credit card payments. The doctor explained to me that they get charged more than that by the credit card processor, but I am hesitant to accept this as average card processing fees are below 3.5%. Dr.Mehdipour himself is extremely nice and I have zero issues with him and would honestly recommend him. My issues are mainly with the office operations and policies. For the sake of transparency I will leave the original review as posted but will adjust the rating given the new found context from the incident that sparked this review. —————————————————— Original review: This office is not considerate of your time or money! Appointment slots are overbooked so more frequently than not you have to wait for 30+ minutes to be seen after your appointment time. In my most recent visit I waited 1 hr and 30 minutes to be seen and my appointment only took 10 minutes. This office also employs what I would deem to be predatory business practices in the way it handles billing: - there is a 5% interest charge on credit card payments unless you sign up for autopay - appointments seem to be set up deliberately after your monthly payment is due so you incur a late payment penalty fee. Before the change in management I was able to come in during my appointment and make a payment, but after the change that ceased to be the case The doctor is nice enough, but when a majority of your time spent in this office is in the waiting room how nice the doctor is holds a lot less weight. I do not recommend this place and would actively avoid it

Experiencia fantástica: I first came to this place around a year and a half ago to continue my orthodontic treatment, as I hadn't originally started it here. Dr. Eng and his team were amazing! He personally checked on every patient during each visit. Even the front desk workers were so nice and took the time to get to know you! Surprisingly, my braces were removed even faster than my initial orthodontist's estimate of over 3 years; I got them off in just a year and a half! This place later changed ownership to Dr. Omid Mehdipour. Initially, scheduling appointments and communicating with the front desk staff was a bit challenging, but things improved after about 3 months. Dr. Omid Mehdipour continued the great work, taking his time to ensure my progress. Today, I completed all my appointments, including retainer checkups. Huge thanks to Dr. Eng, Dr. Omid Mehdipour, and their team – I'm so happy with my new smile!

Experiencia negativa: I'm so tired of this place. I can't wait to finish my treatment for my braces. I came in Saturday to have my bands replaced. My wire needed to be cut a little since it was poking me. The girl cut it too short. I noticed something funny but didn't think too much of it since the first few days are usually adjustment periods for teeth. Tuesday I was brushing my teeth and felt something. So I touched it and the wire moved. The wire is long enough to touch the metal of my back upper molar but not long enough to go in. I can't believe the girl didn't notices she cut it too short. I called. The girl in the front told me she would call back 3 hours later she called said they couldn't see me the same day. We scheduled for today at 4:30. I was unsure I would make it called at 3:12 to cancel since i didnt think i would make it. I managed to figure it out and i called back told them I would get there at latest 4:34. She asked her manager angy and she said no, they put me down as an emergency and just sais no. They know is an emergency and just said no. Had their assistant not cut the wire short I wouldn't have to do all this. I had to cancel work related meetings, arrange an uber there since my car is at the dealer. This place closes at 5. They only needed to change the short wire and place bands. The thing that bothers me the most is that the ortho is plesent and nice and he told me Saturday that if anything happened like due to the pressure a bracket popped off I could call and I would be taken care of right away. That we could schedule a 5 minute emergency appointment I miss the old staff. They were kind and understanding. I work in customer service, I mage a team of 5 people and this is the first time I have seen or experienced such lack of sympathy specially when it isn't something the client or in this case patient did. I cannot imagine denying a client service because of a delay of less then 10 minutes. I put up with the fact that a few weeks ago I arrived 15 early to my appointment and they made me wait 45 minutes since they forgot I was there. That the same tech that replaced my bands(and cut the wire short) 4 times in a row does not properly mask when she's working on replacing the bands. I had to basically share breath with her for the 4 ,10 minute instances she worked on my bands. It's unhygienic to nit cover up your nose when you are literally working inches from the face of a pantent. I could care less if you chose not to mask. But tech should be masked while actively working on patients. I have always believed on nort making people's job more complicated or stressful so I try to be understanding but this experience goes beyond a simple mistake or even lack of training in patient care when the manager herself refuses to have a patient come in 4 minutes late to an emergency appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience here for braces. 2nd time having braces and I feel they did a much better job here than at the previous place I went to. The doctors and assistants are so helpful and caring, they answer any question you may have and have an honest timeline of how long it may take to have your teeth how you would like them. I recommend them if you need braces!

Experiencia negativa: My daughter started her braces treatment with the previous dentist who was Dr. Eng. Him and all of his staff were amazing. We were so happy with this dental office until the new ownership. We never had a problem scheduling appointments, ever…the front staff was always helpful accommodating appointments. Now, it is very hard to accommodate them, if you can’t come on the day they are scheduling you for the next month, they give you another appointment that is not soon to come. Every time we go to the office, it is always crowded. No place to sit. Never happened before. I think it is because the new dentist brought all his patients and he had to keep the ones that Dr. Eng already had with current treatment. No wonder why is always crowded and also very difficult to set up appointments. I hope time goes quickly and my daughter can finish her braces treatment soon. I definitely NOT recommend this dental office.

Experiencia negativa: This place is under new business owners. I start here my braces treatment when dr.E. eng was there.about 3 months ago dr.E.eng is gone he was great and his team.. I make a dentist app for a crown estimated cost and they cancel my appointment and hr before.. whattttt i was ready to go but ok so they moved for the next coming monday..So I show up 10mins before my appointment wich was at 1.30pm I waited 25min to be called in then a staff took mouth x-rays than make me wait for the dentist to came and talk to me so I waited about 30mins staff keep saying his coming so I waited lil more I seem him working in other costumer so I walked out. totally a waste of time I walk in at 1.20pm I left at 3pm!!! This never happens before with the old owner at this location. If dentist has no time he shouldn't make people waste they time!! Definitely not doing business with that dentist..

My dog got to my retainer and Anaheim Dental was super quick to see me within the same week, I was so stressed about the situation and they were there to reassure me that they'd take care of me. I was treated like I was a priority from beginning to end. Thanks Anaheim Dental and Ortho! I will definitely continue to refer people here.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say I feel a bit bad for the front office! Some of the patients are rude and irate when they’re trying to collect payment. Hello! Pay your damn bill! People can be so ghetto! The girls continued to keep their composure through the hostility! The new doctor is great! The office manager was polite and introduced herself at my first appointment with the new staff! Highly recommend! I’ve had no issues. Getting my braces off in 2 months! Yay!

Experiencia negativa: In 2 years I have come, everything was fine, until the new owners arrived, lousy service. They brought the patients they had and put them together with those of us, the place is small and the reception is saturated with people, you can't even breathe, you have to leave the reception. DON'T COME HERE it's very stressful to be waiting an hour and a half. when before, in 15 min. I was already outside.

Experiencia negativa: the previous staffs are very nice and helpful and now they changed the owner and changed almost all the staffs and it is very hard to get an appointment time like before. in 1 year i have been there my appointment is always 4 weeks after the last visits and now they schedule me 6-7 weeks after. i am not sure if it is ok like this and i just want to ask doctor to make sure if ok appointment after 7 weeks? they don't want me to see dentist and they even don't want to help me to ask doctors to make sure for me. The admin staff is not helpful, not friendly, they need more training about customer service. They will made you hard time, frustrating. in my life until today, i am confident to say that i never paid late credit card, bank, bills, i am always paid on time 100% or in advance all the bills, but with their new system collect payment and appt, it will make you become late and they will charge late fee. i feel so sad and so disappointed. if i can rate 0 * i will choose that option.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to this place for my braces because at my last orthodontist there was never a change in my teeth after months and I felt like money was being wasted. Once I eventually switched to this place within the first couple of months I noticed my teeth was already straightening out. The staff and the doctor are really informative and friendly! This place really does provide a comfortable environment!
