Abigail Schmitz, who goes by Gail was my hygienist and I was extremely surprised and grateful for the level of care. Informative, kind, and with the perfect sense of humor to distract you at the dentist. Most importantly extremely good effective cleaning. The entire staff here is great from the dentist to the really amazing support staff up front. I definitely recommend this office if you are looking for a new dental care provider.

They were able to setup an appointment for me within 5 days of me calling. When I arrived the receptionists were extremely friendly, especially Michael, who negotiated with my insurance to get the best deal for me. The dental assistant, Ale, was so kind, gentle, and professional during the exam and cleaning process. When it came time to meet with the Dentist, Dr. Yip, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very thorough about the work I needed to have done and drew up a personalized plan for me to get my pearly whites back! I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist to give this office a shot, as I've never had such a friendly as well as professional experience at a Dentists visit in my life.

Love the transparency too - They were great about going through the images and X-rays, charges and insurance coverage of the services recommended and then going through the before and after results.

The dental assistant, Shae, was very friendly and efficient—she guided me through the appointment and took X-rays quickly and smoothly. Dr. Yipp was also great—he was fast, detailed, and clearly explained what he saw and the recommended next steps. Experiencia fantástica: Long story short, my last dentist botched the crown on my upper right side in the very back! He botched it up really bad, and I have lived with it for the last few years. Dr. Yip and his team did a glorious job... Yes I felt like I was drowning, and yes.. because my blood pressure was A little higher than it should have been, I could not get the good stuff... And yes, it was difficult for them to tear down what was built before they could even go about fixing what was done, BUT, ...they took care of business, and did would needed to be done. And, they were kind and conscientious to make sure I was as comfortable as I could have been. I thank them for their professionalism and kindness.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about Dentists of Lenexa, but I'll try. I didn't choose to switch dentists, my old one was fine enough, or so I thought. My insurance changed and I couldn't go to my old one, and lucked into the best one. I am blown away by their technology and their level of care. My first visit was a just a check up, but we discovered a problem with a very old filling, and I needed a crown. Grudgingly I prepared for another ordeal of wearing some awful feeling temporary crown for two weeks while waiting for my permanent one, and going through multiple appointments to get it all done... But instead of the gross tasting clay molding process, they took high red 3d images of my mouth. Then did the usual drill, to perfection, to remove the damaged areas, and then took additional scans, before printing me my new crown right there in the office. It was perfect. A couple months later a different old filling in my mouth was chipped and I started getting a lot of pain from drinking cold liquids. They squeezed me in for an emergency appointment on the day I called and discovered my tooth had cracked. Again I got the new perfect crown on the same day. I will not go to a different dentist, and I don't recommend you going to a different dentist either. If they have room for you as a patient, then you will be doing yourself a disservice going elsewhere. Edit 8/11/25: well its been years of going here and they are still as good as ever. Any emergency I've had they were able to make time for me immediately, and the level of care has stayed consistently excellent! Edit: 3/4/26 - thry never cease to amaze! Always a great experience!

So I kept checking to see if she was still there not wanting to experience her again. Once I saw good reviews for hygienist Thao Nguyen, I made an appointment with Dr Trivadi and Thao. I was NOT disappointed!! Thao was friendly, professional and very thorough explaining everything as she worked. I walked away with such a clean feeling mouth. Dr Trivadi was also very good at examining and identifying what my teeth needed to maintain good health. I will be back!

Experiencia negativa: After giving this practice four chances, I finally switched dentists—and the difference is night and day. Two visits were for routine cleanings, which they failed to perform properly. I was explicitly told they are not obligated to remove plaque, tartar, or staining—an expectation every dental practice I’ve used before and since has easily met. The other two visits were attempts to fix a small chip. The first repair left visible globs of filling around the tooth. The follow-up attempt focused on grinding hardened excess in the wrong places—including the chip itself . Unsurprisingly, the filling eventually fell out. At that point, I stopped allowing them to continue damaging my teeth. At my new practice, all the issues this office warned me about turned out to be exaggerated or non-issues: my teeth were properly cleaned by a hygienist, and the chip was fixed beautifully—true craftsmanship. Do not go to this place even for a routine cleaning.
