She really took her time and paid attention to every crease and crevice. I left the office with the freshest feeling ever after my teeth cleaning, along with a great treatment plan. The hygienist reviewed the one exray and gave a quote for repair it was more than I had so I left however they changed my insurance as a full office visit and exrays. I was able to get in at another dentist same day with less than half their quote

They helped me understand more than just what was going on with my teeth and why I’ve been having headaches. They gave me a quick referral to an oral surgeon. Also when I explained that I was moving across the country for school they made sure to give me pointers on how to find another dentist that would be a good fit for the type of care that I would need going forward! Experiencia fantástica: I called on a Monday to see if they could get me in for tooth pain, expecting it to be sometime that week and they got me in that same day. They were all amazing with easing my anxiety, explaining what they were doing and course of treatment. Highly recommend all staff!

Experiencia negativa: Coming here to change my review. Thought the staff here is nice they are fraudsters. I came here and they told me my teeth were nasty and falling out and I needed a bunch of work done. They charged me extra for a cleaning. I go to periodontist to learn my teeth aren’t decaying and I don’t need a deep cleaning or any extra work. The periodontist did a basic clean and I was in and out. The refered me another dentist. My new general dentist agreed with periodontist no rotten teeth and no need for peri care. Won’t return here

Experiencia negativa: Dentist and hygienist are incredible. Front desk staff, RUDE. Sucks that a lot of dental offices lose customers because their front office staff are so rude and unprofessional. I called to reschedule before 24 hours, my kids all had strep so my husband had taken a lot of work off last week to help out, so he couldn't miss work for a cleaning. The lady said “ughhh I mean, we have 3 hours booked for you two”. She would like my husband to quit his job apparently to keep his cleaning appointment vs. rescheduling it” I am the customer, paying for a service, I don’t owe these people anything, if the dentist was out sick they wouldn’t have any problem canceling my appointment. Apparently, it’s too costly for them to reschedule me and be polite vs. losing a family of 5’s business. If I were the dentist who owns this business I’d be furious if my secretary cost me thousands of dollars in future business because customer service is too hard for some people. Unless this lady wants to pay my bills and feed my family she had zero business being rude to me instead of just rescheduling our appointments. Unreal.

We discussed quite an extensive program and come the 23rd I’m there. I come quite a distance to see them but would have gone more. You find a doctor and dentist that you like and is good, you don’t change it.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very great experience at Serenity dental today. Kylie, Maddie, and I believe her name was Morgan, were so kind, fun, funny, and most importantly, honest. Kylie and Maddie were so knowledgeable. I have some of the same teeth fixed 3 to 4 times all since Covid, and I couldn’t figure out what to do to prevent it, besides wear a mouth guard. I have wore a mouth guard for the last 12 years, and I still have some issues. Kylie has been a Dental Hygienist for 21 years, and after looking at my teeth said “ I have really bad acid reflex, and silent reflex. She also said she is not a doctor but the symptoms she gave me were on point to how my symptoms are. I need an implant, but they Kylie told me it’s up to me, since it’s my very back tooth in my mouth. She said she wouldn’t recommend it , because you couldn’t see it, and it may get infected. I have never had such an honest answer. I went to them for a second opinion because my last dentist said he wouldn’t work on any other teeth until he puts an implant in that tooth. Which was 3,000. Serenity dental is leaving it up to me on what I want to do. Dr. Silva was kind and actually said there were a few teeth that we could hold off on. Tmj is real, and the amount of money it takes to keep your teeth looking somewhat healthy with Tmj is expensive. Because of their honesty, and how awesome they are, I will always stay a patient here.

They gave me a referral for an extraction with sedation options that were new and I am very grateful for that as I have a phobia. I just had to come back to edit my initial 5-star review with some context. First, the office is very nice and clear and we'll let. Second, staff have been consistent and very friendly and helpful. Third, cleanings are quick and easy. Fourth, this doctor is incredible. He has built a great business and runs it well. Beyond that, he redid one of my nearly 20 year old fillings and it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a dentist. I live in Lee's Summit, I drive to Olathe for this guy.

Experiencia negativa: From my initial consultation, they pressured you into writing a positive review, which many people have, including my self. *Update: Worst dental experience I’ve ever had. Had bridge work done here (which I’m not sure I even needed), and was told that my pain and sensitivity would subside after 2 weeks. I’m still am experiencing pain and sensitivity after 5 months later. Dr. Silva is extremely impatient when he performed my procedures. I gag very easily, and each time, he made snide comments and acted very annoyed - I’ve never had a dentist demonstrate so much unprofessionalism. He was also very reckless when extracting my back tooth. His tools would hit against my other teeth, and at one point, he was standing up yanking as hard as he could with my head and neck twisting in his attempts to extract my tooth. I also paid $500 for a set of teeth grinding guards that came apart from the custom mold 5 times, after being told I would never have any issues with them. I would never step foot in that place again. It’s too bad because there are some really nice and accommodating people who work there. I fell victim to their ads they post on social media, but am returning to my prior dentist, whom I never had any issues with. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
