Experiencia fantástica: Let me start off by saying I have horrible dentist anxiety due to my experiences growing up. This has resulted in me putting off being seen for way longer than I should (tsk tsk, I know..), but I had no choice recently when I broke off a significant chunk of my back molar. I looked around for quite a bit of time and ultimately landed on UpCare due to wanting the option for sedation, if needed. My experience with UpCare from the very beginning has been nothing but amazing. They worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed in order to feel comfortable throughout the procedure, talked me through all of my options for the treatment itself, and even broke down the cost of everything so I could know what to expect when it was all said and done. Due to time constraints (aka leaving the country in less than two weeks), I wasn't able to do full on sedation for my root canal and crown. That didn't stop them from finding me the next best alternative and then making sure I knew that if I was uncomfortable at any time, we could stop. That meant more to me than I think they realized. And because they knew I was leaving, they made sure to do their best to get me in as quickly and as many times as needed to get it taken care of! The staff is truly the differentiating factor here. There are a lot of dentist offices you could go to, but they won't make you feel as at ease as these folks do. Right out of the gate you have Megan and Gabriel up front being such warm, welcoming individuals that it's hard to be anxious (which is saying something from me). Then that energy carries on to Fabi in back taking care of you and making sure you're comfortable the entire time, whether it's the procedure itself or the follow-ups after. And of course Dr. Shivam taking the extra steps to hear out my concerns and anxieties and accommodating them in the procedure. I never once felt like I was being judged or that I was a burden for my existing anxiety. Don't get me wrong - I'm still anxious by nature, but I've left the office every time feeling good and that's all thanks to them! TLDR: They're great. Especially if you're an anxious bean like me!

Fabi was amazing—she made me feel so calm and comfortable during my appointment, which meant a lot since I was nervous. The doctor was also very kind and explained everything clearly. Experiencia negativa: I was trying to tell the appointment setter on the phone that I was and was waiting to get over this cold I have. She wouldn't take the time to listen. She also just kept running the dates off as if she was in an auction. I wouldn't been able to even write them down, even if I didn't have a cold and needed to reschedule. No greeting, no patience, no sympathy, no understanding for the appointment setter.

Experiencia negativa: My experience with Upcare Dental in snowballing into a costly nightmare. They fit me with what they called a night guard. A night guard that did not prevent further damage to my teeth. The night guard pictured is paper thin. The circled areas are cracks. I have had 3 other guards in the past 20 years. Those guards were thick. When I refused to move forward with the treatment plan they laid out, and asked for the 50% refund on a root canal that was scheduled (I did get the refund), they questioned my 4 star review and ask me to change my review to a 5 star. Anyone that grinds and clenches their teeth know this night guard is useless! Yes have have tried it for 6 months. Glad I kept the old one. FYI cost of this guard $646.

From routine cleanings to more advanced treatments like teeth whitening, Invisalign, and even wisdom teeth removal, the UpCare team has always provided exceptional service. Experiencia fantástica: I have been seen at the UpCare Clinic since 2020. I have been impressed with the staff from my first visit, and it gets better each time. The staff is very informative, and they are not pushy with their recommendations. From 2011 up until UpCare, I have had horrible dental experiences, as it seemed that the dentist was only concerned with selling some type of service or product, and really didn’t care about what I really needed. The UpCare staff is extremely knowledgeable, and they do a great job of making people feel at ease. I recommend the UpCare Clinic to anyone that is looking for exceptional dental care with a staff that treats people like your childhood dentist did growing up.

Experiencia negativa: !!!!AVOID!!!! Is a scam. Went in for EMERGENCY dental work. They charged my insurance. Demanded payment from me. I didn’t have it. Went outside to cash and get it. Went back in 5 minutes later and they REFUSED SERVICE. I have a tooth missing pieces and they don’t care. Open wound? Don’t care. Money?? Oh yeah they care now. AVOID THEM GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Experiencia negativa: I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at Up Care Olathe. During my visit, they told me I had three “budding cavities” and one definite cavity that needed immediate filling—at a cost of over $300. Something didn’t feel right, so I sought a second opinion. That dentist found zero cavities—not even signs of early decay. Either this office is blatantly dishonest or dangerously incompetent. On top of that, they withheld my medical records despite agreeing to send them via email. They never did. When I called to follow up, they hung up on me. I had to go in person to request my records the same day—something they could have provided immediately since all their files are digital—but they still refused. When they finally handed them over, they only gave me some of my records. I didn’t realize this until my new dentist’s office informed me they hadn’t provided all of my X-rays. Since I paid for those X-rays, they were legally mine, and I had to go back a second time to request the rest. I fully expect them to respond with excuses about their “24-48 hour policy” or call me “uncooperative,” but let’s be clear: withholding medical records, misleading patients about their dental health, and refusing to provide what I legally paid for are massive red flags. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this office to get a second opinion and be extremely cautious before agreeing to any procedures.

Over the years I only did the basics of just having my teeth cleaned. I found Upcare Clinic for they do 24 hour emergency work and more. They got me in quickly. Recently i had a root canal and a crown. I was so scared, nervous heck almost canceled. I'm so glad I didn't! Doctor was so caring, empathetic, patient and was all about me and my feelings. I was in the middle of moving across the country from Texas to Wisconsin and my tooth just couldn't wait any longer. I was staying in Olathe for just 1 or 2 days and I was worried I'd have to finish my cross country move while in pain! The pain was so so bad. But they were able to have me come in for an emeregency appointment and they even stayed late to give me my root canal treatment the same day. I just cannot get over how compassionate and professional the entire staff was. They also make sure to talk you through everything, pricing is laid out plainly no unexpected costs, and it's just very clean and peaceful here. I was so impressed.
