Experiencia fantástica: Today I got my new crown; the bite is perfect...and it looks so natural! The whole process went smoothly; from making my appointment, to Dr. Macias' easy manner and pain-free preparation of my tooth, to the wonderful temporary made by Umberto (it was so good; didn't look or feel 'temporary'), to today's seating of my new crown. This office is first-rate in every way. The office itself is beautiful, so clean and modern. This is a very busy office and yet every staff member is pleasant and doesn't give the appearance of being 'rushed.' I felt very 'taken care of.' Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve come here for several years but recently I don’t know what is going on. Went in for a filling 6 months ago but they apparently didn’t check me in correctly. So when I asked after 15 minutes they realized their mistake. The dentist was pissed and tried to say she couldn’t do both of my fillings that day because she didn’t have time. Not my fault, I don’t have time to come over twice because your office’s mistake. Well, when pushed she said she would do both. But she didn’t do a complete job on the second one. My next cleaning I mentioned it to the brutal hygienist (who accused me of not flossing which I do every single night), she said she can schedule an adjustment. Quick appointment. Well I left after sitting in the waiting room 45 minutes for my “quick appointment” so I could pick up my kids from school. They used to have wonderful caring hygienists and knowledgeable dentists but my past two visits have not been great. I requested a different hygienist next time and I’ll give it one more chance only because my first few years going here were actually quite good.

Experiencia negativa: Updating my review to show the experience with this business from start to finish. I went and got filling done back in October. Since then, I’ve been suffering with excruciating sensitivity. It’s taken over 4 visits, 4 months, every time in which they continue to shave down the fillings instead of doing it correctly the first time. Even after all these visits, I still deal with pain and sensitivity. I can’t even drink lukewarm water without pain in all the fillings.Furthermore, the use of AI when I call is so frustrating. I keep calling the direct office line during business hours but I get a AI voice instead. I rescheduled an appt a few days ago but I’m still getting texts about the appt I just rescheduled. When I called back to speak with an AI voice (again), the AI didn’t even reschedule my appt properly. Stop trying to implement AI to replace what people can do better. This dentistry has been so frustrating to deal with and it’s no wonder I hate going to the dentist with experiences like this one.

Experiencia fantástica: I'd like send a shout out to Dr. Evelyn Villeda at Smiles of Eastlake. I've always had a hard time at the dentist and get extremely anxious, to my luck on Halloween night I had a molar fracture and it needed to be extracted. Dr. Villeda made me feel comfortable from the first visit. She took time to explain the current state of my tooth, what needed to be done and how she would perform everything down to the details. This made me feel like I was in the best hands and that she had the experience needed. I wasn't wrong! She was prepared, patient, professional, knowledgable (God knows I had a ton of questions) and above everything she was very kind. This always goes a long way, especially when we, as patients, are on the other side. THANK YOU Dr. Villeda, and also to DA Mrs. Rose, she is a rockstar! Also very professional, made laugh and distracted me making me feel like I had known her for a while- I think on purpose to keep my nerves down. Thank you both! God bless!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed in their care. I know they were busy but their treatment suffered because of it. The dentist didn't tell me she was going to inject the lidocaine and didn't ensure I was numb before drilling, I in fact was not numb. She didn't mean any malice and she was very kind, but even when you are busy patient consent is ALWAYS required and keeping the patient knowledgeable of the procedure is ALWAYS important. Also, the simple step of ensuring your patient is numb before you drill is just poor patient care. I was hoping to love it here as the staff was really all very nice and it was a nice facility, the care was just very poor and unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: My experiences with them here have been excellent. This is my 2nd time here and about a year now. No problem with employees here and no issues with cleanliness or sanitation. We know they recommend to get things done on your teeth but that is up to you if you want to do it, as long as it's not a "need to get it done for your health" kind of recommendation. If it is a necessary procedure, then you NEED to do it because that can affect your overall health. The procedures are very expensive, if the insurance does not cover, but you need to for your health. The employees would recommend something because they want to prevent future bigger issues that patients will more likely to complain about, so it is understandable. I feel that theyre just looking out and based it on their experiences with their patients.

I had three appointments for fillings, each time I went they tried to pressure me into getting my wisdom teeth removed when they grew in fine and had plenty of space. Also the pricing for each filling went up everytime even though the depth of the cavity was the same. I would not reccomend.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow I’m so happy I found this place. It is a pretty big modern dental facility. It’s also stylish and comfortable. And the people are great. Every interaction has been positive and genuine. Dr. Razak in particular is amazing. I saw her for a consultation for Invisalign. She was very knowledgeable and confident. She laid out an easy plan for the Invisalign. And she suggested Bioclear veneers for my two front teeth. The Bioclear veneers are nice because they don’t shave your teeth. They simply cover your existing teeth so that you can shape them to your liking. I never knew something like this existed. Everything has come out perfectly for me so far. Dr. Razak has been invested in my satisfaction and I am so happy with my new smile. Thank you Dr. Razak and the staff at Smiles of Eastlake for giving me the smile I have always wanted. I highly recommend them.

She is an amazing dentist who truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain treatments clearly and offers alternative options when available. Experiencia fantástica: I found Smiles of Eastlake in 2018 when I moved to the area. I love it here. Both my kids had braces through them and got their wisdom teeth removed. My insurance changed I couldn’t go for a few years so I paid out of pocket for cleanings. I tried a different dentist one time to use my insurance and it was the worst experience! I’ll never do that again! I changed my insurance again and now I’m back and so happy! The office manger is AMAZING!!! She goes above and beyond!

Experiencia negativa: Attention Active Duty Personnel! I went in for a filling replacement and a repair on one front tooth, and when asked what I was there for, I confirmed it was only for those two teeth—nothing more. However, after being fully numbed, I wasn’t aware that the dentist planned to do additional work. She repaired a ‘chip’ on another front tooth without informing me beforehand or during the procedure (I would have refused if asked). When I noticed she was taking longer than expected, I had to push for an explanation and found out she was doing more than we had discussed. She also mentioned altering other aspects of my teeth that were neither necessary nor wanted. I’m glad I stopped her in time. Afterward, when I stopped her, she seemed noticeably annoyed—not because of any health concern, but as if I had interrupted her from doing unnecessary extra work. I reported the experience at the base dental clinic and was told that some civilian dentists may take advantage of active duty patients while they’re numb, performing unnecessary procedures without prior consultation. While some patients may be fine with the extra work, I wasn’t informed of these changes until I forced the issue. This shouldn’t be a problem, but unfortunately, it is. Be cautious when seeing civilian dentists—apparently, we need to be very clear about the work we want done to avoid surprises. This practice seems to be common, as they often see an opportunity to claim more work to Tricare.

Experiencia positiva: I have always liked this dental office until today and normally would rate five stars. I scheduled two weeks ago (I had to schedule out several weeks, I could have been seen the following day if I wanted just a cleaning but I wanted a cavity filling directly after). I wanted back to back services because I have a baby and would need my husband to take off work to watch him and didn’t want him to have to do this twice. I got my cleaning done at 8am and thought the dentist would just come by at the end (like normal) to do the filling. That’s how it’s always been done at every other office I have been to. At this office they brought me back to the waiting room at 9am when I finished my cleaning. Now, I have been sitting here and it’s 9:30 so I go up and ask and they said oh my cavity filling is scheduled for 9:30? So been waiting 30 mins for no reason why wouldn’t they schedule it for 9am directly after my cleaning as they knew I was in a hurry. We’ll… now it’s 10am and I’m still waiting. I literally told the person scheduling me and the lady cleaning confirmed that the cavity filling would be directly after. …. And I’m still sitting here and now it’s close to 10:15. A little ridiculous.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to get outsourced from military to this clinic and I will say Dr. Milosavljevic was the most patient and knowledgeable dentist I’ve ever been seen by. I don’t remember the hygienist name but she was so great as well! I went to get two cavities filled and as it was my first time I was a bit nervous. They didn’t make me uncomfortable not once. Will be back for treatment in the future.

Experiencia negativa: 1 star for having a very clean facility. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and never once did they bother asking if my daughter had lost all her baby teeth. Wasted my time taking her out of school all to be told he doesn't handle specialized cases. Only ones where baby teeth have all fallen out. I wish they would've asked this question prior to making an appointment and wasting my time.

Experiencia negativa: I have been coming here for years and have experienced care from several dentists here, although have recently decided to leave due to terrible customer service from both the front staff and one dentist. I decided to purchase Invisalign through them and have received horrible service from Dr. Raz and inconsistency with the front desk staff. While all the aids have been kind and attentive, Dr. Raz has gossiped with other staff while providing treatment, has shown no care for me as a patient throughout the years, and placed a tool on top of me as if I was a table. In this event, the tool was falling off of me and in an attempt to grab it she replied with “it’s okay sweetie, you can leave it.” This was completely unacceptable and disgusting for me as a healthcare worker, as patient dignity should be upheld and I would never treat my patients as such. I have attempted to switch dentists after this and even spoke to an “office manager” in order to be told I would never be placed with her again- only to be scheduled every single time with her. I’m not sure if the front desk staff simply do not communicate with one another, or if the “office manager” was even real. At this point, I stopped trying and waited until I was finished with Invisalign. My last straw was at my last appointment where all I had to do was pick up retainers and waited 30 minutes, only to be seen after I spoke up. When I asked why the wait was so long, the front desk staff replied with “what was your name again?” I was the only one waiting amongst maybe 3 customers! Not to mention all the appointments I’ve had where I was never told what to expect- they are very disorganized in terms of treatment. Avoid this office if you want to save your money and time!

Typically I have severe dental anxiety, and while today was no exception, it was the best experience I've had at the dentist. Ever. Everyone from the DA, front office and Dr. made me feel comfortable and informed. No issue whatsoever scheduling my next appointments and cannot recommend this offrie enough!

Experiencia negativa: This place might be decent for routine procedures like cleanings, fillings, and cosmetics, but the gaps are apparent when you need specialized care. I called about pain in a molar that prevented me from chewing on that side of my mouth and, to their credit, was seen immediately. They took basic X-rays that were inconclusive and initially decided to use the process of elimination instead of the technology they have to confirm the problem, knowing I'm in pain and they risk it becoming worse if their guess is wrong. The pain grew worse by the day. I was offered antibiotics, which I declined, and later found out weren't necessary. Ultimately, it took over a week for them to confirm the problem and refer me to a specialist, despite my explicit requests for a referral. Even then, the poor quality of the CT scan disguised the severity of the issue. After seeing the specialist, I called Smiles of Eastlake to pursue one of the courses of action that was discussed with me, only to discover my chart had not been updated. The receptionist was not able to help me. Yes, they were able to see me relatively quickly, but those visits weren't productive. I was able to find better care elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: First time here, it’s a cute little place! I had a referral from the military and the first place I called I had to wait over a month but this place had an opening for the following week. Everyone is very sweet. They play piano music while each room has a tv with either different wildlife animals or beautiful nature scenes playing. So you’re not staring at the walls or ceiling the whole time. Love how clean the bathroom was. They’re military friendly and accept TriCare. If I didn’t get orders I would definitely have come back. Update 5 months later: My child’s appointment was scheduled for 3pm and it’s been over an hour and he still hasn’t been called back. Last time we came I had a good experience, but I don’t remember waiting over 30mins. After we were seen the manager apologized and asked to make it up. I’m active military and leave next week so, they gave us a gift card to go get frozen yogurt. Since, I was planning to take my kid there afterwards.

Dental Hygienist was Vivian, that was the best experience in a long time. Vivian shared with me the plan for the day and what each procedure and treatment was needed and what to expect moving forward. One experience you have to watch out for is insurance. Know what your insurance covers. That was shared with me by the receptionist so I know they know their stuff. I loved it and scheduled my deep cleaning and future appointments already. They won me over.

Experiencia fantástica: My son and I had our teeth cleaned yesterday, and I was impressed how clean the place is and how nice all the staff are. The dentist and hygienist did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. I can tell when corners are cut. I once went to a dentist in another state that didn’t even use that scraping tool and they said it was an express cleaning. I was appalled and never went back. This dental office addressed other concerns I was not aware about, so I am glad my last dentist left the clinic which brought me here. So far so good!

Just the preparation for this day for him to get him for his Dental - to have a good happy day then .. we’ll Just sit there and wait and wait and wait .. Anyways, Obviously this facility have no consideration at all.

Experiencia negativa: I really liked the staff; however, the decisions that the dentist recommended were bad for my circumstances. I wish i had decided to not listen to the recommendations. I to deal with teeth that had to readjust after the procedure and it left me with what looked like teeth grinding only to be recommended that I get braces for re-correction. I have since left and found other professionals that will assist In my endeavors to have reasonable dental care. My experience was my own and might not be your experience. The statements regarding what I experienced don't reflect the circumstances that what may occur in your experience. But I will never occupy the Smiles of East lake for dental care again.

Experiencia fantástica: Words can't even begin to describe the positive experience I had here. Came here after getting a referral from Navy dental and my hopes weren't high given that it was the Navy sending me there. But as I walked into the cleanest office I've ever seen, I was greeted by the receptionist who helped me check in and was so professional and nice. I was an hour and a half early and they took me back to wait in a full body massage chair. Dr. Cristobal was able to see me earlier than expected and took me back to get my filling fixed. He was so nice and personable and was very skilled, honestly best dentist experience ever. Yuri did my cleaning and was just awesome to work with. So nice and talked about some great options for my teeth moving forward to help prevent bone loss. If you have the opportunity to go here, don't even bother thinking it over, stop reading this review and go book your appointment. These people know how to run a dental practice and will take care of you like one of their own.

Experiencia fantástica: I woke up with a toothache the day before thanksgiving and was desperately looking for a dentist that could help me. I found Smiles of Eastlake online and had an appointment within an hour. As I walked in I was helped by Monica with a smile and warm welcome at the front office. Dr Torres and Riza took very good care of me and did the initial screening. I went back to the front and the office manager Denisse asked if I wanted the root canal done that same day. I thought I was going to have to come back for the root canal on a different day. She then led me to a massage chair to relax while the Dentist prepared for the procedure. After about 10 minutes Riza came and led me back to my room. There was absolutely no pain at all and they were done within an hour. I highly recommend this dentist office for anyone that needs dental services.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately this review is not for the dentist or the medical staff as they are great! This is in regards to the front office and administrative staff. I was to have a referral sent for approval for Invisalign (which included multiple photos and impressions that were done) at the end of July and still have not heard anything back from the office. Working in the medical field myself I know it can sometimes take 2 to 4 weeks for approval, not almost 2 months. I decided to call my insurance direct to see when the referral was sent and what the hold up was and I was told nothing has been submitted! I was shocked! I have spent a lot of time and money getting work done at this office and mu whole family are patients as well. Unfortunately because of their very poor administrative staff, including poor customer service and lack of the ability to do their job, we will be finding a new dentist. Working in the medical field I know the importance of having reliable and friendly front office staff, which they do not. I will happily go back if their front office staff is completely re-employed.

I can't beging to express how grateful I am that they made me feel welcome and not at all terrible about not seeing a dentist in a year and a half. This is by far the best dental visit I've ever had and it says a lot because I get very nervous going to the dentist. Thank you to the staff for being so amazing and kind.

Experiencia fantástica: I had painful upper corner tooth. I was seen by my current dentist on a Saturday and gave me prescription to wait for available specialist in12 days. After a day my tooth pain got worst. I called Smiles of Eastlake on a Sunday afternoon and responded to my emergency call immediately. Dr. Eusebio has seen me early Monday and took care of my concern. He and his staff were very thorough and professional. Dr. Eusebio had also informed me to seek for EENT specialist regarding my infected sinus so he will not proceed to my second procedure. My infected tooth could have been worst if I waited for 12 long days. I felt the huge care of Dr. Eusebio that he mostly focused on providing outstanding service and dedication for his profession regardless of what he makes. The entire office is so welcoming and friendly. I chose them based off of others reviews. You won’t go wrong choosing them!!!

I am going to miss them as we are a military family and we’ll be moving by the summer . It’s so nice when you get that warm greeting from the beginning, starting with when you walk in to they end . Experiencia negativa: Absolute worst experience. I took my sons there and myself. However they have no idea how to schedule one person’s calls makes appointment and then when you get there someone tells you know your appointments not today it was yesterday. Then they try to charge the insurance $75 for missing the appointment which wasn’t true because I had a confirmation text on my phone which I showed the lady. I do not recommend this place at all. I take time off work to go to your appointments and they are never sure when your exact appointment is!! They are overwhelmed and desperately need some help

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Eusebio is definitely the best dentist I’ve ever had and I have seen many. I had an emergency today since an old crown came off last night. I was able to get an appointment today in spite of their busy schedule. Also, I have new dental insurance and his office does not work with this HMO. I thought they would not see me and was pleasantly surprised to hear I could still come in. Their customer service is outstanding. If you want to have a dentist who truly cares about his patients, Dr. Eusebio is the BEST! Also the staff is always helpful. I’m going to miss coming here since his office does not see deal with DeltaCare USA, which is my new dental provider. I wish I could continue with this dentist. Thank you so much, Dr. Eusebio!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had been neglecting my teeth for the last 2-3 years and so was nervous going in. Yuri was my hygienist and she was so thoughtful, kept checking in to see if I was comfortable, took her time with the cleaning and was so gentle but thorough. The dentist came in to do the exam and even complemented how strong my bones look from the xray. They did the xray, cleaning, and exam in the same room I didn't have to shuffle to and fro. Yuri also scheduled my 6 month out appointment right in the room. Super fast, easy, and relieved me of all anxiety!
