Experiencia negativa: Since the original owners sold it, it has not been the same. I got a cavity filling and it was worse than the actual cavity. Couldn’t eat for a month. On my right side they told me my crown was broken and infected and they never gave me antibiotics. Had to go to t.j to fix it. The doctor there said for the cavity they left a lot medal (other dentist terms I don’t understand) and that’s why it was hurting and really sensitive. They fixed it and I’m feeling so much better. And the doctor I went to thinks the tooth they fixed wasn’t the one it had a cavity and they should have seen medal was left on my tooth that caused the pain. Other words those new doctors are horrible and when I went back they just said it would eventually go away which it didn’t. Will move to a new dentist office. My mom also has a bad experience. Front desk ladies are nice and the techs, it’s just those new dentist, go somewhere else if you want a good job on your teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: My niece is a dental patient here. So, I have been in need of some dental work, so I decided to schedule an appointment. Staff is very pleasant, I felt at ease immediately. The dental assistant put me at ease, very gentle and she explained everything that was being done.

Experiencia positiva: Overall, I’m only mildly satisfied with this dentist office. The staff is generally friendly, but there are several issues that need improvement. As a new patient, I would expect the dentist to at least introduce himself. While he seems nice, he often appears rushed. I understand offices can be busy, but taking a moment to explain what he’s doing would make patients feel much more comfortable. The way the numbing injections are given has also been concerning. I’m not used to feeling the needle hit bone, but that’s how it has felt here, and it’s been quite painful each time. After my most recent filling back in October, November time frame, I experienced severe jaw pain not tooth pain, but intense jaw pain. It was so bad that I was in tears and had to call out of work. The pain felt nerve-related and was much worse than anything I’ve experienced from a normal filling. Some of the staff also seem fairly new, which is understandable, but it showed during one of my visits. When I had a temporary filling placed, part of it fell out before my actual appointment. The person assisting didn’t shape it properly to check my bite, and it didn’t seem like she knew how to address the issue. Eventually a lead dental assistant stepped in to help. I don’t remember her name, but she was gentle, checked on me when I seemed uncomfortable, and explained everything she was doing. She was easily the most reassuring person in the office. Lastly, I question how reliable some of the five-star reviews are since the office offers a free Starbucks gift card in exchange for leaving a review.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are usually nice and there are many open appointments available I’ve been to other locations where you have to wait 1-3 months to set up an appointment but in Dental Palomar I can usually set up an appointment within the same week if available. Dr. Yaya is very kind and helpful as well. And this location also gives payment plans.

And I found them, I walked in and asked if they took my dental insurance, which thankfully they did. And asked if they had an opening for the same day, front desk said yes but of course it would be a wait… after that, the dentist i saw with the dental assistant were all very nice and kind. The dentist provided answers and took the time with me vs others that are always rushed. The out of pocket cost for the treatment I need is sooo much more affordable than my prior dental place. I really recommend it. I truly had a great experience

Experiencia negativa: At first this place was fine, unit it came to a simple deep cleaning. My whole mouth was done in about 30 minutes, that alone for a for a deep cleaning is a red flag ! However the anesthesia is where is really was rushed. I screamed in pain from burning due to how fast he was going. He told me to just wait. Instead of just slowing down. No water was used just a drill in which my gums were torn apart. I went back after due to being in pain around injection site after a whole week I was offered no help or explanation and the biggirl marina in front always rudeeee !

Came to this dentist they did about 3 root canals, couple crowns, few fillings. Deep cleaning and not once did I feel any pain. Im about 2 weeks away from getting partials. Great staff. I urgently needed a root canal was in severe pain and with in a week my root canal was done. My pain was gone! Shout out for Dr. Hazza keep on having that touch with your patients.
