Don't come to this office if your child is trying to overcome real fears of the dentist. The one time we weren't able to see Dr. Capeci (who is outstanding) and my daughter still has ptsd.

Their concept of allowing your child to have their independence and voice during a dental cleaning is something that I appreciate. It’s respectful of boundaries but also allows children to feel more confident of their capabilities. We met with Dr. C - she was intentional, kind, patient and thorough. A stellar combo of all good things at Giggles & Grin!

I don’t know if this is standard practice with pediatric dentist and this day and age, but I was absolutely Shock and Aww by how wonderful the staff in office set up. My kids were going Into their first dental appointment. I was expecting the worst in regards to crying, tantrums, etc. but instead my girls were joyful and left the office saying I miss the dentist. I want to come back. If that isn’t quite approved, I don’t know what it is. 10/10/10/10/10

Experiencia negativa: My daughter got her fillings done at this place. A few days after she got her fillings done, the teeth she had fillings on suddenly started to hurt a lot. After months we realized that it was an infection and that it was caused cause they drilled too deep cause she had a big cavity. Later on she had to get the teeth removed but we went to another dentist. You should always make sure to trust the dentist before getting procedures done cause these things are irreversible. We would not go back to that area as we are all furious. They caused her so much pain. If you are reading this then go to a professional area that is trusted and just see how many bad reviews there are for this dental.

Experiencia fantástica: I literally cannot recommend Giggles and Grins enough. My child is special needs (autistic/tuberous sclerosis/brain tumor) and really doesn’t like teeth brushing etc. They did an AMAZING job keeping him calm and making sure he felt safe and comfortable. It never felt rushed or forced. By the time we left he had made friends with the hygienists and was letting the dentist hold him. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone. I’m actually looking forward to our next appointment!

My toddler is Autistic and she did so extremely well with the entire office and staff! I cannot tell you how amazing and caring they were with my baby and that means so much to me. Dr Capeci is the best of the best and Melany and Brandie are so helpful and sweet. This office is a GEM! I’d give 10 stars if I could ❤️ thank you for caring for my sweet Finley. I was so nervous about my daughter having her first “procedure”, as one of my sons had a less than favorable experience (years ago in another town… he was left traumatized) The Giggles and Grins staff handled my daughter with loving care and made the experience almost fun for her! As odd as it sounds, she can’t wait to go back, lol.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently came to giggles and grins for a second opinion and were blown away by our experience! Our previous pediatric dentist wanted to take an aggressive approach to some cavities my daughter had that I didn’t feel comfortable with. My daughter was nervous from her previous experience but here they made her feel comfortable and she loved her whole visit. Dr. Watts took new X-rays and discussed a new plan for fillings that were much more realistic and in our comfort zone. The communication and explanation on the treatment plan gave me peace of mind and confidence in moving forward. We are so happy we found giggles and grins and for my daughters to be long term patients here.

He loves Dr. Watts and feels like she’s a friend. She has filled cavities, checked his X-rays and consistently advised us about how his teeth are progressing and she’s always right! The staff and the office is welcoming, fun and cheerful and they will go the extra mile for my child! I will continue to drive to Southlake from Fort Worth because I trust these dentists so much! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

My 7 year-old had a baseball to the face on a Saturday baseball game and our dentist and one of the Dental Assistants dropped everything they were doing to meet us at the office to assess/fix the damage to his teeth. Nothing better than having the peace of mind knowing their availability in an emergency situation WITHOUT having to take the time to sit in an ER for hours to be told we need to move around to different ERs, etc. She was so kind, gentle, and took her time throughout the entire visit even though I know she had so many things she was planning to get done on that Saturday :) I already loved everything about this place before this situation so this was just the icing on the cake.

Experiencia fantástica: The BEST in Southlake!! My daughter’s old dentistry was suggesting complete sedation to get her molar removed. We wanted to give G/G a try. Not only they were able to see my daughter the very next day, they also removed the molar with only part anesthesia. My daughter was happy, she said it wasn’t painful at all, not a single tear. I don’t know how they did it, but they did it. I am forever greatful!!!! Thank you Giggles and Grin!!

He says it so fun and that exactly what I want to hear. Also the doctors are all so great at taking the time really explain what needs my child has and how best to take care of my child’s teeth! Experiencia negativa: ***BEWARE, DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE***VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU HAVE A CHILD IN ORTHO*** Dr. Armstong, Dr. Watts, and Dr. Capeci (along with every hygienist that saw my child) were all negligent in informing me that there was a cavity in a tooth so extreme that my child now has to have an extraction. We went EVERY THREE MONTHS for cleanings, exams, X-rays! We were completely shocked when we were told my child would need an extraction(we had to switch dental offices because Giggles and Grins no longer accepted our insurance) According to their records(Giggles and Grins) this cavity has been known by EACH DENTIST since Feb 22’, and no time since then were any preventative measures taken NOR WERE WE INFORMED THAT our 9 year old had any cavities at all. In January of this year child was diagnosed with a heart condition, and because the infection at the apex of her tooth is so massive (WHICH AGAIN WE WERE NOT INFORMED BY ANYONE) the infection could easily spread to her heart, inflaming her condition or BEING FATAL! When I called in on 3/8 wondering why no one noticed the cavity I was told by Dr. Armstrong herself “because she was in ortho they would NOT restore the tooth”, when that call was not hers to make. I would have taken her somewhere else to get treatment if the office did not want to do it, but that choice was taken away from me and my daughter by ALL three of your board certified dentists. Now she has to have oral surgery because this team withheld information from us. Not to mention the potential for lifetime damage to her mouth from having an extraction so early. They also decided to commit insurance fraud by placing a sealant over the decayed tooth! I do plan on submitting a formal complaint/ investigation against Giggles and Grins along with Dr. Armstong, Dr. Watts, and Dr. Capeci to the Board of Certified Dentists and the State Board of Dental Examiners along with any other form of complaint I can file with the state of Texas. Please ask more questions and be more direct if you have a child in braces!

Experiencia negativa: Very rude front office when dealing with insurance coverage. Too bad because their dentists have good reviews, but I never want to go somewhere that insurance & billing is a problem before the first visit! They didn’t run it to check, they just said nope. Insurance company is wrong. We aren’t in network. What is in network or not should be known, and it’s not my fault for sure that the info is conflicting. They were super rude and defensive about it when I said I called my insurance to confirm they were in network. Insurance says they are in network and they said they absolutely aren’t. Ok, moving on. I would never go here. I know these things change a lot with who’s in or out of network, but this was unacceptable to talk to a potential client like that.

Experiencia negativa: Called to book an appointment and was informed that if your child is over three you are not allowed to go with them for their cleanings, x-rays, etc. This is an unacceptable practice and must be changed. Parents should NEVER leave their children alone with strangers, doctors or not. I would be surprised if this is even legal. Go somewhere else, where they respect parents and prioritize children's safety.

Experiencia fantástica: My 9 year old son fell on the stairs while playing with his friends this past Friday afternoon and chipped over half of his front tooth, and was in a lot of pain. We tried to contact our family dentist and did not hear from him for over 24 hours. My son was in so much pain. Fortunately, Giggles and Grins called me back early Saturday morning. I was able to send a picture of his tooth, and because of the severity (nerve was exposed), they seen him right away. Dr. Watts placed composite on the broken tooth, and sent my son’s info to an Endodontics office so they could see us ASAP. Dr. Watts and the dental hygienist were so kind and helpful. She provided a thorough treatment plan even though he was not a current patient. When it was time to leave, my son was given a balloon and a cool bouncy ball. His exact words were, “That was fun!” I am so grateful for Dr. Watts and her team decided to treat my son! We have already set up his appointment to complete the composite after a trip to the Endodontics office. If it weren’t for Dr. Watts, my son would still be in pain and could have had a risk of infection. Thank you so much, Giggles and Grins!

My son was seen originally by a different pediatric dental office and I was not happy with them. A friend referred us here and I IMMEDIATELY felt better about the whole situation with my son's dental issues. The dentist was kind, made sure to communicate with my son and make him feel comfortable (he is 1 yr old so this was very important to me, as the previous place did not do this), and extremely informative if the whole situation and made me feel better about the decisions we had to make and the whole process afterward. It made my worried mama heart go from panicking to being completely at peace. As I said above, I would 100% recommend this place!!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about this dental practice. They have been so easy to work with and compassionate to our family. Our 16 year old son is low verbal with severe autism. He cannot do in-office procedures, and had a seriously large back molar cavity within a millimeter of the root. They quickly facilitated an outpatient hospital procedure where his tooth was ultimately safely extracted under anesthesia. We are so grateful to them for helping him. All the dentists in the practice are so friendly and caring - easy to talk to and explain things so well. We recommend this practice to EVERYONE! They're truly the BEST!

Now we are closer, we still love it. Everyone is courteous and professional. They work with school schedules and the absolutely know how to work with kiddos. The goodie bag at the end of every visit is a nice touch.

We recently had a son who needed emergency dental care several times during the corona quarantine, and they rushed in to meet us and have been wonderful each time!
