I paid full in cash for all services that was provided , because they were going to send to my insurance and its taking 1,2 week for a response and we agree that I pay it in front and after they receive the payment from the insurance they will return the amount that the insurance pays them back and then they start telling me all of diferent stories just to not return my the money that they received from the insurance because I paid for all the procedures in full…

She is incredibly patient and truly gifted when it comes to working with kids especially my son, who has always been extremely afraid of the dentist. He usually kicks, screams, and refuses to even sit in the chair, but somehow she always finds a way to calm him down. She speaks to him gently, takes everything at his pace, and never makes us feel rushed or embarrassed. She genuinely understands kids and knows exactly how to make them feel safe. My daughter also loves her visits because the doctor is warm, sweet, and explains everything in a way kids can understand. We feel extremely lucky to have found her.

They have no fear of visiting the dentist, because they can watch television, read a book or play with toys. My children look forward to their visits there. Although they are now teens, they still love their dental visits. They wish they had to go there more than 2 times a year.

Experiencia fantástica: Update as of 10/11/2024 Can I just say besides being the best dentist in Brooklyn, she is also an incredible human being. Dr. Kotlyar is so attentive. Yesterday I mentioned that I get called often about my son from school due to his behavior. He is really into cars. After he spent a good amount of time quizzing Dr. Kotlyar about cars. She offered to show him her car! He was so excited to sit in it! She finished the appointment by telling him if he behaves in school that next time she will drive him in the car! I mean if this isn't going above and beyond I don't know what is. We left the appointment and he asked me how often we go to the dentist, I said twice a year. He then proceeded to complain that it wasn't enough and why we can't go more. I love her! ------------------------ I have been going to Dr. Kotlyar wit my three kids for 8 years now. She is wonderful with kids and they are always excited to go. Never had an issue. This past week has WOWed me after all this time. My 8 year old son had an extra tooth (Mesiodent) inside his gums that we have been monitoring for 2 years now. Well, it was time for it to finally come out. We did surgery with Dr. Shnayder to remove that tooth inside his gums to allow his adult tooth to drop. it wasn't easy as it was high and difficult to get to. This was Dr. Shnayder's patient. However, Dr. Kotlyar DID NOT leave my son's side for the entire surgery which was close to 45 minutes I may add. She held his hand and told him he is doing great and praised him. This is a doctor who didn't take patients during that time that was there for one of her patients during surgery that another doctor performed. I am beyond wowed by this kind gesture. She is just an incredible doctor and human being and I will be forever grateful for this! THANK YOU. Oh and by the way the surgery went great and recovery as well. Amazing office that goes above and beyond for their patients and it always shows!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Kotlyar is a wonderful pediatric dentist! The office is very clean and kid friendly. Dr Kotlyar is extremely knowledgeable and super attentive. She’s is wonderful with my kids and they absolutely love coming for visits! It’s always a great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give Dr. Leona 100+ stars I would because she is amazing. Her bedside manner and the way she handles her small patients is incredible. I would like to personally thank her for taking my son on an emergency basis, (my son was not even a patient of hers). She exceeded all of my expectations & I am glad to say my son will be a permanent patient of hers going forward! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Leona is always so patient, kind and easy to speak to. She does a great job with my daughter’s teeth considering she has a major sensory issue. My son is now also a patient and had a positive experience. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable to ask many questions.
