Make an appointment (show up on time!) and see what he is capable of. You won’t regret it! My smile still needs a bit of work, but I’ve never felt more confident than today when I left that office. I won’t be going any where else!!!

Experiencia negativa: I communicated the service I was looking for over the phone. When I arrived for the appointment I was told there was a prerequisite service, which was not disclosed on any prior calls. The communication and handling of that issue felt very much like a used-car dealership (apply pressure to get to a Yes). I will not return to this practice.

Dental Hygienist Maria, was friendly, efficient, and kind. Dr Minionis was also kind and gentle, explaining my need for two crowns and why. And Office Manager, Jessica, helped connection with my dental insurance and treatment plan. I came away smiling and grateful for this team of dental professionals whom I trust and ready to return. The above describes a prior visit. Yesterday I returned to receive my first crown and begin process for a second. Again, I was greeted warmly by Natalie, who advocates for her patients with physicians and medical insurance companies. Davis, the dental assistant, shows skill and kindness and humor. It began when I scheduled over the phone with Megan. I was treated kindly with the front desk and the check in process was seamless. I was greeted by the Hygenist; Ingrid who spent a lot of time perfecting and attending to my needs as well as X-rays, cleaning and more. She was engaging and also very efficient. The Doctor spent time with the exam and attended to my needs and concerns when developing my treatment plan. I was then back out the check out and Megan has helped me find my appointment for future visits. As a person who has spent years working with dental offices and teams I can find all the best of the best at this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you, Dr. Kim, for spotting one of my implants was losing bone and providing me with an option of removing the current implant, followed by a bone graft three weeks ago. I scheduled for the following week to have the old implants remove, followed by a bone graft; many thanks to Dr. Kim’s and his staffs for a flawless and painless process.

Experiencia negativa: Perfectly acceptable dental cleanings, although they try to nickel and dime you with every tiktok fad new "treatment" (that insurance does not pay for - but at least you can decline these). You also get ENDLESS text messages to rate their services after visits, which is extremely annoying. Dropped it ANOTHER star because the absolute spam text messages telling you to review them NEVER STOP.

The only thing that disappoints me is they quit doing the teeth polishing after your cleaning. I liked it because made my mouth feel like I had a teeth cleaning.Bring back the polishing and I can go back to 5 stars. I would still recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Appointment was to do prep work for three crowns. There was apparently a shortage of staff so I was taken to examining room 40 minutes late. Staff and doctor were very apologetic. Dr. Minionis was excellent. Very caring, gentle, and professionally competent. I had been with my previous dentist over 30 years so I was a bit nervous about a new doctor with such a major procedure. So far, I couldn’t be happier.

This appt. was for a cleaning with Maria and the morning of the appt Maria fell ill. I received a call from Natalie and she indicated that Dr Minonis would proceed with my cleaning so no need to reschedule. Team work, supporting fellow colleagues for the good of the cause. As you enter the office you are greeted by friendly, professional office staff. Team member, Jherri, supported Dr. Minonis, as needed, with the cleaning process. Dr Minonis is thorough. Experiencia fantástica: I got really warm and friendly as well as highly competent dental services from the administrative assistant, Natalie, scheduling and following up whd updating me with my dental visits as well as the wonderful dentist, Dr. Kim, who so expertly fulfilled my dental needs with regards to the dental dentures required to take the empty place in my gums where I had extracted my tooth a few months ago. Really glad and satisfied with this dentist and dental office.

The last dentist I went to messed up my bite when they filled a cavity for me and I've been having pain while chewing ever since. Dr. M took the time to investigate what was causing my pain and fixed it just like that! I cannot recommend this dentist more!

Dr. Kim was able to squeeze me in on a same day appointment, do a full examination of my mouth and come up with a very comprehensive plan to address my dental needs. He was also considerate of my finances and worked with my insurance to keep my out of pocket costs at next to nothing. He is very good at what he does. For instance , I had a root canal today, and Dr. Kim was so gentle and good at his work that I was comfortable enough to fall asleep in the chair! I have full confidence in his opinions and abilities, his upbeat personality and great attitude is just a bonus! I will definitely be seeing him for my dental needs for years to come! I was very happy with the practice and my family also became patients, but the COVID years and early years after the original owner sold the practice were very hit or miss. That all has changed. I appreciate Dr. Kim (new co-owner) and staff. I have had an extraction and an implant procedure completed within the past year. Dr. Kim always listens to my concerns and is honest/blunt about treatment options. New technologies are being introduced but they allow patients to opt in to those procedures.

As a diabetic I tend to get cold. They stopped my procedure and brought in a room heater to get my bodt temperature a bit stable. Really wonderful staff.

I recently had to have an old filling removed and replaced. While I have seen Dr. Minionis on several previous occasions, this was the first time with more significant dental work. I thought the doctor was excellent ... she explained what was happening, the options to fix the old filling with her recommendation and then did the dental work.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t love the “upsell” of an extra cancer screening with a fancy flashlight for an additional fee. Feels very gimmicky. Isn’t dentist supposed to look for cancer anyway? Again, gimmicky with the push for a positive review while still in the chair showing me their laminated QR code page for a review now please. Dentist came from another room, have honest concerns/didn’t not see her change gloves before she touched me, but guess she could have in the hall while walking? Also she did not feel neck/throat/jaw for mass like they usually do. Don’t love it here anymore.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kim is MAGNIFICENT! I broke a tooth and the 2 previous dentists I consulted said I needed a root canal. Not wanting to get a root canal, I reached out to my sister, Yanni, who then referred me to Dr. Kim. While doing my exam, Dr. Kim asked about any other issues I have with my teeth. I told him about my gap that keeps opening each time my permanent retainer breaks (I've worn braces 3 times because of my gap ) and the composite over my pegs I didn't like how the last dentist did it. After reviewing my x-rays, Dr. Kim quickly ruled out the need for a root canal. My gums had grew over the area where the tooth broke and that's what was causing the sensitivity. He literally repaired my tooth with ease. He also corrected the composite over my pegs and worked magic to make my gap appear closed. (NOTE: my teeth are white from coconut oil pulling). Dr. Kim did an amazing job, the pictures speak for themselves! If you have been told you need a root canal, I highly recommend that you consider checking out Dr. Kim for a second opinion. Actually, if you have ANY dental concerns and you are in the DC, MD or VA/DMV area, you'll give your mouth a treat by entrusting your teeth to Dr. Kim

She made me feel very comfortable. This will definitely be my permanent dental office. Very professional! I booked an appointment on 05/02 for 05/10 around 4:30 pm (available time given by ZOCDOC) as I was going there after work. Received a text on my cell phone earlier in the week of 05/06 to confirm my appointment. However, on 05/09 late morning received a phone call from a staff of that dental office saying that the appointment was not available anymore and I needed to reschedule for a future date. An appointment that is made a week before and canceled by office staff only because of some Zocdoc issue is nothing but the HIGHEST level of UNPROFESSIONALISM.

Today, I had a filling performed by Dr. Minionis and she was painless, professional and pleasant. If you’re looking for a great dental experience, I highly recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly environment from receptionist to hygienist and the doctor. Didn’t wait long to get started with the hygienist. The appointment was for my teenage son. Hygienist was efficient, caring, clean, patient and answered any questions. The dentist was thorough and did good job. We’ve gone to this dentist's office for years because of the good staff and reliable service.thx

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kim is a dentist who truelycares about my dental health. I have seen him four times (once to have a tooth capped due to it breaking ). (Yikes don’t open a bottle with your teeth) The work turned out beautiful. He offer me several options and once he got into the work realized he could save me 150 off his original cost quote. I really appreciated that. Today I had by bi-annual cleaning . He found a cavity (seriously I am old this shouldn't happen) He was able to work around my 50 year old mercury filling. Yeah. He and Claudia were so professional yet super friendly. The office is clean and inviting.
