We’ve never had to wait long and they have age appropriate entertainment for kids here during it and it is a friendly environment for the kids. The dentist is very knowledgeable and takes the time to address and explain to concerns as well as noting preemptive things to do or think about.

Especially the staff member Lisa - she is the meanest person I have ever met. Worst kids dentistry on the planet. Beware anybody who has kids to stay away from this place at all cost to protect your children from verbal abuse.

Experiencia fantástica: The assistant / hygienist Michelle is a true angel. My 4 year old son is a bit skittish with x rays and prolonged cleaning and she stepped in and handled his emotions with kindness and confidence. Dr Tung is also very kind and thorough with information to parents. The only negative experience I’ve had was the front desk staff telling me on my way out that they encourage / prefer two parents present (I scheduled two of my three kids back to back in same exam room for efficiency and was solo that day). That statement is making a lot of assumption that another parent could be available and it didn’t feel awesome given I’m doing my best to get my kids into dental care amidst the busyness of life and two full-time working outside the home parents. Overall love the clinic and Dr Tung has created a fun kids dental experience and we will definitely continue care

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: BEWARE OF THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN. THEY ARE VERY DISCRIMINATORY AND RACIST. if I could give this place 0 stars I would because they do not deserve the 1 star giving. So after I was rudely handled by Jordan the incompetent office receptionist. I spoke with the very incompetent simple minded office manager Lisa. Lisa and Jordan’s professionalism is non existent. I decided to keep my daughter’s appointment and rearrange my schedule so that I could report their awful behavior to the dentist. When we arrived to the appointment we were greeted with hostility from the very unprofessional dentist Dr. Diane. She sided with her simple minded front office staff and let me know she will no longer service my daughter. Dr. Diane deserves her license to be revoked with her horrid professionalism and discriminatory practices. If you are African American you are better off not letting your child be seen by this doctor. It’s an absolute guaranteed way to be discriminated against. Shame on you Dr. Diane, and your simple minded office staff Lisa and Jordan. Jordan, the receptionist is a nightmare to deal with. My daughter has an appointment for Friday at 11:00am. Jordan gave me a call today, Wednesday at 12:57pm. I requested that I reschedule because I have a busy schedule as an Engineer and she tells me that “she can reschedule for a $75 dollar fee” and due to me rescheduling the appointment before. Background info, I had to reschedule the appointment before due to me not receiving any reminders about an appointment that was scheduled months ago. Her excuse for the no reminders was that I removed myself from the text, email, call list. Which I never did. Now to today’s appointment I looked to reschedule yesterday due to the requirement of appointments being scheduled a certain amount of hours before the scheduled appointment date. However when I looked online they are closed on Tuesdays . So Jordan called me today at 12:57pm after I have been on back to back meetings for work for a reminder call and when I requested for the reschedule she said “it’s to late” you have to pay the 75 and you’ve rescheduled before. I let Jordan know how ridiculous this is. And she let me know she would prefer for me to find another dentist for my daughter instead of working with me on the 75 dollar fee. Shame on Jordan she is an absolute nightmare . Word of advice for shoreline kids dentistry, find better customer service because yours is lacking. Thanks.

Even my 2 yr old was able to sit through the cleaning and exam, and the staff were very patient and treated both kids with compassion. Dr. Diane is always so attentive and gives good advice without overwhelming kids/parents with unrealistic expectations.

My kids have anxiety and had a pretty crummy previous experience elsewhere, but this team has gone above and beyond to change that image in their heads. The environment is quiet and calm, and everyone works together so well to create a truly welcoming experience. They are well-staffed, gentle, and so patient. The level of precision and care they bring is out of this world. I’m beyond grateful we found them! I highly recommend everyone to check them out ❤️

Experiencia positiva: There was a thirty minute wait between the hygienist and the dentist’s exam, which hasn’t been the case in the past. There was no small apology or explanation or “thank you for waiting” when my kids did finally get examined. Maybe avoid appointments during the lunch hour? I was hoping for more timeliness since I had to schedule in the middle of a school day and I wanted to get them back to class. My kids are older, but this kind of a wait could definitely be more of an issue with younger, on the spectrum, or kiddos with anxiety. Otherwise, we like our dentist and have been going for years. Hopefully this was a blip.

Experiencia fantástica: Went for my daughters(12 months old) 1st dental appointment! They were so great, kind, and gental. They made sure my daughter was comfortable and gave an adorable duck at the end! We hope to stay here for the rest of her pediatric dental needs!

Experiencia fantástica: Grateful to have found such a fantastic dentist to take my 2 year-old to in Shoreline. The staff is friendly, personable and accommodating. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to be called back to a room and the back rooms (at least for toddlers) are private with a fully closing door. There are about 20 different kids movies available for my daughter to choose from, which can be played on the flat screen TV affixed to the ceiling above the patient chair. My daughter wasn’t in the mood to use the reclining chair for her last exam/cleaning so her dentist and dental assistant both graciously hunched over the parent chairs along edge of the room to do the exam and treatment. Lastly, we are always given a nice little goody bag including kids floss piks, toothpaste, toothbrush, stickers and a cute rubber duck. This place is A++.

Experiencia negativa: I specifically made an appointment for a tooth. Staff on the phone said they can helped with that. I pulled son out of school early , got off early from to get a tooth pulled, that was coming in with the new tooth together . All a waste of time . I was told I would have to make another appointment, and it was not anytime soon. All they did was clean his teeth and cray his tooth. This is something that I could of made an appointment at a better time . So completely not satisfied with the service. Next time be clear up front

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice clinic, bigger than I expected. Staff is nice and friendly. They have a small play area in the waiting room for little ones. Ample parking. Dr Diane is very sweet and informative. I took my 1 year old for first dentist appointment. Yazmin was also very sweet. I forgot to fill out the new patient forms prior to, but they were kind to accommodate me, didn’t rush me or anything. We’ll see how baby likes dentist going forward!

Experiencia negativa: Beware - even after providing insurance information and they verifying it, they require you to give them your social security number. They do not tell you this or review your previous forms until your appointment so you either have to hand over your SSN or pay $125 cancellation fee. They are not up front with why they need this even after they have your insurance information and you have signed over consent for financial liability. Extremely unfriendly and unprofessional practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Diane is an incredible practitioner. She filled my 4-year-old’s cavity as he was wiggling and giggling. All the while, she was encouraging him and communicating her process in kid-friendly language. As an anxious parent, I couldn’t have asked for a more positive dental experience for my child. Thank you to Dr. Diane and the entire team!

Even starting out in stressful circumstances couldn’t have gone better, and my girls no longer have any dental anxiety. So thankful we found them!

Experiencia fantástica: **Update to 5 stars since we can now schedule all 3 kids at once!** We are recent transplants to Shoreline and needed a pediatric dentist for our three kiddos. They had a great dentist before and I had high expectations for another dentist. Shoreline Kids did not disappoint. The office is bright and clean, staff is friendly and professional, and appointments were right on schedule. I appreciated that all my forms were able to be done online prior to their first appointments, so I wasn’t in the office having to look up insurance info and addresses and all that stuff you need when establishing at a new medical office. I was glad to hear they’d actually reached out to our old dentist and gotten X-rays and reviewed them prior. The rooms are so smartly designed with TVs mounted on the ceiling with options for kids to pick a movie. Genesis was great with my 3 yr old at explaining everything they would be doing and showing her all the tools. Dr. Diane is wonderful, cheery, and happy to answer all my questions. She even got us a referral for my oldest, who needs some ortho work. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I could only schedule 2 kids at once, resulting in 2 trips next time we visit. It’s a slight inconvenience, but if the trade off is not waiting in a lobby for an hour, I’m good with it! Just thought it would be worth a mention for other parents of multiple kids. Lastly, they have a cool prize wall with token operated machines for kids who don’t have cavities. This is definitely the type of place we were looking for and are happy to have found them!

Experiencia positiva: Always end up waiting at least 15min for dentist after hygienist is done. Not ideal for a kid's dentist. He does great until he has to wait, so gets antsy, and so always ends up screaming/crying by time dentist works with him.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is incredible. At the heart of it, Dr Tung is amazing. She is on time, extremely knowledgeable, great with kids, and just all around everything you could ask for in a pediatric professional. She is incredibly kind and committed to her patients - on Mother’s Day my daughter endured a dental injury and she called me back within minutes of me leaving a panicked message despite being at her own Mother’s Day brunch celebration to talk me through everything I needed to know patiently and empathetically. Since then (this was 2 years ago), she has taken extreme care to help ensure my daughters healing and always comes into our appointments having reviewed her records and with a clear idea of what to look for this time. I could not speak more highly of how well Dr Tung cares for her patients. Beyond that, she does all the “extra” stuff so well - tvs on ceilings, T shirts for kids, prize walls… she’s thought through it all. My kids complain when it’s not their turn to go to the dentist - there have been tears shed over why brother/sister gets to go instead. All her staff is incredibly warm, helpful, and competent. The facilities are spotless and again, thoughtful to every last detail. I only wish Dr Tung did adults too so I can have her as my dentist!! Cannot recommend her enough - thank you Dr Tung!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! From the walk in to leaving the staff and facility were amazing. My son was super patient in the beginning and then started to become a bit excited towards leaving everyone was understanding and polite. We will recommend. Also side note. The waiting room has a play area for children to really help them relax and not be scared to be at the dentist. I loved this! The girl up front was super sweet and immediately made us feel welcome, our dental assistant was a sweetheart as well and was so kind to my son. The dentist and her assistant amazing teamwork in procedure. Things ran smoothly and the information was clear. Overall 10/10 would recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Baby’s first visit to the dentist and it couldn’t have gone better. The staff clearly enjoy what they do and went out of their way to engage my baby. And Dr. Tung was very thorough.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Diane Tung is amazing and good but one of her staff is policing the hallway so hard that telling me not to walk in the hallway too much but I am watching 2 kids there. One 9 year old and 1 year old. My one year old is active and loves to walk and need to changed his diapers. So I have to get our stuff the second time in the assigned room. My point is its a kid dentistry so they should be more flexible and understanding when parents bringing more than 2 kids for appointments that there will be more movements to that family.

My daughter is pretty shy but everyone was so friendly and understanding that she actually calmed down during the cleaning and was even singing songs about teeth brushing for the rest of the day after we got home. I HIGHLY recommend Shoreline Kids Dentistry to anyone who has a child that is nervous or shy around new people or during doctors visits. I will definitely be returning for all of my daughters future dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I was terrified of the dentist when I was a kid. I was worried that my kids would feel the same way, but they literally love the dentist because of their experiences at shoreline kid’s dentistry. The staff are extremely patient and kind with any anxiety the kids have had.

Experiencia fantástica: We love bringing our two kids here. The staff is very welcoming and puts them at ease. We’ve done cleanings, evaluations after teeth trauma and most recently an extraction due to an infection. It has all been very smooth and I am so grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: Good experience. Despite construction in their lot they still had parking spots off of 192nd and my kiddo had a good time. I would love a copy of the xrays that he received just so I can teach him about what those are and how teeth grow in. My child was very interested in that aspect of the dentist process.

Experiencia negativa: Our experience at Shoreline Kids Dentistry was disheartening. When we respectfully made a very reasonable ADA (disability) accommodation request around masking, they cancelled our kids' appointments and went so far as to even drop my kids as clients, claiming we weren't a "good fit".

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Diane is so knowledgeable, kind, and caring with my young kids. She also takes the time to answer all of my questions. The assistants are gentle and very patient with my daughters, the office staff are so easy to communicate with, the whole experience is very positive and pleasant. My daughter recently needed a little extra attention on a tooth and everyone there was so amazing and wonderful, absolutely including communicating with the office staff. My daughter has high anxiety and she actually enjoyed getting her tooth pulled. Dr. Diane and her team even made it as easy on me as possible as well. Update 7/26/23: Both of my high-anxiety kids had a great experience at their dental cleaning here, as usual :)

Experiencia fantástica: All staff were calm and friendly. My son had a negative experience with the last dentist he saw and was anxious about today's visit. He told the hygienist about what he was feeling and she validated his feelings and told him they would practice letting her know when he needed to take a break. It was difficult to get his x-rays completed in the usual the way so they tried something different and then stopped when it was starting to get too much. He came home feeling positive about his experience and asked if we would be going to that dentist from now on even if it was a long drive. I'm so grateful that he is feeling better about dental visits after this experience.

Experiencia negativa: No complaints about the actual care my children received, but very disappointed in the front desk staff. Our vehicle was wrongly towed from their parking lot because of their error. Now the vehicle is damaged and the office is not doing anything to help.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is SO kind, patient and professional at Shoreline Kids Dentistry. Our kids actually love going to the dentist because of the many positive experiences we have had there. It came highly recommended to me and I now highly recommend it to others. Knowing our dentist is a parent with kids similar ages is an added bonus! Beautiful office space, very clean and the kids love that they can watch Paw Patrol while they get their teeth cleaned. And the prize wall at the end is an extra fun way to finish the visit!

With nerodiverse kids the dentist can be especially overwhelming but we have had nothing but amazing and smooth visits!

When I bring my kid here I am always so happy they get to have a good experience with friendly people, good prizes. He once got three prizes in one visit for being on time, wearing his kids dentistry shirt that comes in three colors: green, blue and pink and finally staying calm the whole visit that took a couple minutes longer than normal.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been taking my kids to Shoreline Kids Dentistry for years. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Tung has an amazing way of putting my kids at ease. My son, now 8 years old, warms up pretty easily in this setting, and he does great at his appointments. But my daughter, now 4 years old, is always a harder nut to crack. The other day, I thought we were going to have to leave without a cleaning because she was very resistant to our efforts. But then Dr. Tung walked in and got my daughter to open up - literally! Thank you, Dr. Tung and staff!

Experiencia fantástica: We've been at Shoreline Kids Dentistry for several years now. My kids continually ask when they get to go back to the dentist. SKD has always been patient with both of my kids around their varying comfort levels with having people in their mouths, and as the kids have grown Dr. Diane continually gives us great support for which concerns to watch out for and what not to be worried about. I really appreciated recently that as my son ages (and is totally sick of me telling him to floss), the hygienist was talked to him directly to educate him (at an age-appropriate level) around his own oral health so he can understand why it's important, and help him own that his teeth are his responsibility.

Experiencia negativa: They are not equipped or able to deal with special needs children. They also lied about how much a procedure was going to cost, and where my down payment was going. They entirely don't have their act together, find somewhere else.
